261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any free dice scripts? on: July 28, 2018, 12:39:38 PM
Are there any free dice scripts? I can't find any since moneypot is not working! I'm curious to make my own dice site for testing.
You can post in the service section to get someone to code it for you. I'm sure there will be some people willing to work cheap for a simple coding.
I also found this in google and someone posted this in forum.
https://github.com/untitled-dice/untitled-dice.github.io

It's been awhile since that post so I'm not sure if that one still work or something. I am no expert stuffs like that.
262  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: privilege of copper member on: July 28, 2018, 12:10:00 PM
- Some of the same permissions as Member-rank members, such as reduced signature styling restrictions. (But none of the PM-related restrictions are currently lifted, such as the style limit or per-hour PM limit.)
- Your "you must wait ____ seconds between ___" counter is reduced by 75%. So if you're naturally of Newbie rank, you only have to wait 360-75% = 90 seconds.
263  Economy / Services / Re: [Contest][ICO] n.exchange signature design contest. Winner gets 0.05 BTC! on: July 28, 2018, 11:18:18 AM
The contest is over?, i still do not see who has won Huh

They did informed me that I was the winner of this contest but they have not yet sent any payment.
It's kinda shady since they did not even bothered announcing the winner here.

will you announce the winner for your signature contest? It's been days sir. No response from your team.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay, You are the winner!

I have sent them the invoice they requested but they claimed that they were scammed by someone else pretending to be me so they failed to send the payment yet.

They have informed me that they will be paying me this weekend tho.

What do you guys think?

They are no longer updating their ICO ANN thread tho they are active on telegram.  Undecided

Edit: They said the guy incharge in signature related stuffs were traveling in asia for 3 weeks so the payment was delayed.

I see there is an insert flash function, but I'm not sure how to insert a youtube video or any flash video for that matter. Help would be appreciated.
IIRC flash was never enabled in the forum so it can't be used.

Edit: What you can do is just upload an image then link it to the video instead or follow this:

1. Get the Youtube video link e.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc2en3nHxA4 (Remember this id Gc2en3nHxA4)
2. There are 4 a default thumbnail images to each video the, URL to these images will be like

Code:
https://img.youtube.com/vi/<youtube-video-id>/0.jpg
https://img.youtube.com/vi/<youtube-video-id>/1.jpg
https://img.youtube.com/vi/<youtube-video-id>/2.jpg
https://img.youtube.com/vi/<youtube-video-id>/3.jpg

3. Now to add or embed youtube video, add img tag and replace Youtube Video id

Code:
[img]https://img.youtube.com/vi/Gc2en3nHxA4/0.jpg[/img]

4. Now add URL tag and point URL to actual youtube video

Code:
[url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gc2en3nHxA4][img]https://img.youtube.com/vi/Gc2en3nHxA4/0.jpg[/img][/url]

5. Final result, Youtube video, click to play Smiley

266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: July 28, 2018, 06:03:10 AM
From the definition of gambling, playing games of chances to make money or to bet against a casino or some other user. By following this definition hard work cannot do anything to help you to win in gambling or to count for something in gambling.

The only thing that can help you is for example is to bet on a live game, soccer or tennis. You can follow the game and after making sure that you think the game will end in that way, you can bet on the outcome. This does not always work but most of the time it does if you act cool and not lead by emotions.
Don't you need knowledge in sportsbetting before you bet tho? So technically you are doing research about the teams and imo that is hardwork. There are even sports analyst which predicts a games outcome and to be able to know what is happening, that means that they study for that and that is hard work as well.

It's true that luck plays a big role in gambling but it's not always about it. For probably fair games, maybe, but not in sportsbetting.
267  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: What is XAPO support email ? on: July 27, 2018, 09:47:27 PM
I dont want to pass verification on XAPO and use their service anymore, just withdraw my coins.
According to their website: "Before you can withdraw funds from your Xapo account, you'll need to have your account verified first."

Source: https://support.xapo.com/how-can-i-withdraw-funds-from-xapo/view=faq
Is sending money to external btc address the same as withdrawal in XAPO?
Last time I used XAPO there was no need for a verification to transfer frunds from wallet to an external btc address. Is this different now? If it is then it sucks.
268  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Earn easy Merit? on: July 27, 2018, 12:50:43 PM
The merit system is kinda hard, not everyone in the forum may be able to construct a very good statement, but my point in here is that the merit system will make the community more motivated to make better posts rather than to make senseless posts and non-related posts towards that certain topic, it is hard to earn merit, but we need to be fully constructive in order for the community to give what we deserve.
It is not hard if you put your thought into your post actually. Even non-english poster can even get merits from locals who understand their posts. How is it hard to post a good statement?
What I don't understand is why do people think that you need to construct long paragraphs just to get merits? A simple and clear expalantion or post is fine.
269  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: July 27, 2018, 12:23:00 PM
Edit: in my transaction history shows no incoming nor outgoing transaction in the last 24 hours.
Have you tried importing your privatekeys on another client? Must be an issue in Electrum if there is no transactions.
Or maybe your Client is out of sync? This sometimes happen to me when I load electrum for the first time.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: July 27, 2018, 09:33:38 AM
Yesterday I watched a video about addiction on youtube: https://youtu.be/ao8L-0nSYzg. It was a real surprise to me that according to recent research people are addicted to drugs mainly because they can't bond well with people and are not able to live a satisfying life. The research shows that when an addicted person appears in a loving and caring environment, the addiction kind of disappears (even heroin addiction). I wonder what are your thoughts on this matter and whether you think you could say the same about gambling addiction.
I am no expert but I think that addiction is linked with mental health. I mean it's common sense. If you have a poor mental health, you'll do things to cope everyday even when it means lunging into substance or gambling addiction. Both offers chemicals which can make a person feel happy. Who wouldn't want that?

Gamblers on the other hand is a different story. I think that a person being addicted in gambling isn't necessary because they lack love or something. One can be addicted to gambling simply because they are greedy and they want more money. That then results to a poor mental health condition.
271  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: 🌏 KAPAKI-PAKINABANG NA TOOL PARA SA MGA TAGASALIN NG FORUM 🌏 on: July 26, 2018, 10:46:27 PM
Nice Idea for the topic but you can even post in this local board in English because we can also understand it very well rather than translating it to the Filipino language because the grammar is very wrong and some are incomprehensible like the title we call them TRANSLATOR or TAGASALIN you can remove the word forum, but nice thread but the tools are for just the basics try adding the Photoshop or the Adobe Acrobat those two helps a lot in translating.

Yung ibang phrase kasi mukhang google translated.

you can even post in this local board in English
What's the point of having a local sub-forum if we will use English here and not our own language then?

EDIT: tiningnan ko ang profile ni OP at sa tingin ko hindi naman sya local kaya ganyan yung translation nya.
272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am interested in creating a bounty program. Share some TIPS! on: July 26, 2018, 09:29:38 PM
Hi!

I am going to publish a bounty program soon for an ICO. I would like to heard some Tricks & Tips from experience bounty programme developers, publishers and maintainers.  Smiley

Cheers!
Use google forms to record data on a spreadsheet to organize your bounty participant lists. Avoid hiring too much participants. It's much better to have a quality campaign.
Don't encourage spams.
You might also want to look into opening bounty campaigns which pays in BTC and not with the token. BTC paying campaigns tends to attract more good promoter and usually get more attention compared to token-paying ones.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOVI - Yobit Virtual Coin - First Raise Only Market is Open! on: July 26, 2018, 09:03:12 PM
I tried this crypto YOVI 2 weeks ago ... I am very disappointed not to be able to sell ... what is the interest of having a crypto unsalable
You didn't know what kind of coin you bought then. It's a ROM. There are already tons of posts in this thread saying that it is now hard to sell YOVIs' because of the low volume. ROM means rise only market so you can only sell the coin on an open slot higher than the current lowest price.
If you are lucky you might be able to sell your YOVIs' within 2 months. Maybe you can create a hype to get more people to buy yovi to pump the price so the market could move a little bit faster.
274  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: July 26, 2018, 08:41:30 PM
I've just checked the website today on my phone and I think the design could be improved. Is there any plans on making a more mobile friendly version of the site?
I was about to mix some coins on my phone today but I went to use my pc instead.
Also, I'd love to have a qr code to scan on the desktop version to be able to send easily when using a different device.

Still a great site btw. Everything is smooth. Chipmixer is actually the only mixing site I trust these days.

276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a scam ? on: July 26, 2018, 05:20:41 PM
Doing a search on the forums for the casino name usually can show you if there are a lot of people complaining about that website. Google is ok too, but I think the best way to spot a scam is just to test it out yourself with a little bit of money. If it works, just stay with depositing that much money at a time. Maybe some place won't scam for $100 but if you think it's safe and deposit $1,000 then they might.
You can't just deposit on a site to test it tho. Some sites may appear legitimate by paying in their early days just to get more people interested to play. Some sites even offer huge bonuses which sometimes can mean they are luring players or maybe it's indeed a legitimate offer.

Scams in gambling sites also comes in different forms. It's not always the "they did not pay, so they are scam".
A gambling site can scam someone by a rigged game and offering a not probably fair games when it should be one.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where do cryptocurrency enthusiasts talk about cryptos? on: July 26, 2018, 11:52:18 AM
Forum is more better to talk about cryptos since you cannot do such a trolling or you'll be banned for it. That's why I love bitcointalk.
True. But forums have a lot of spammers so it's sometimes hard to have good conversations about cryptos itself. If you look, there are more generic posts than constructive, educational threads.
Anyway, forums are good since topics are organized so discussing topics and asking for help is much easier.
I personally avoid reddit. It's just that I can't stand it's design and I think there's so much clutter.

279  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: July 26, 2018, 07:32:37 AM
If all of the fiat money was replaced by digital I think the corruption and criminality would arise. It would be more difficult to track down transactions. No one will know who owes and what money, which might lead to a chaos. How do you expect accountants to do their job, if all they knew about a certain bank account would be a bunch of characters? And, also, if every fiat currency was replaced by digital, but still it would be the government, who regulates the system - then what about all of the alts and BTC, that we use now? Would the governments let people use it then? I don't think so. And what about the taxes? Anyway, I don't think that there's any point in changing all of the fiat money to cryptocurrencies.
If ever cryotocurrencies completely take over and replace fiat, there is no way that the government will allow such as the things you are saying. There will be a way to track down digital money because there is no way that the government will not regulate it.

Btw, even with cryptocurrency we are still paying tax. Even at this moment.
And there is a very huge possibility that by the next few years, people will then prefer transactions made online or usung digital money for convinience. The world is fastly evolving and so is the technology.

In such a case - either the whole economics will crash, or cryptocurrencies won't be anonymous and won't have most of the advantages that they carry now anymore.
I can't imagine the whole economic crashing. Surely experts can do something to prevent this. As for the current adavantage and characteristics of todays crypto, I agree that soon it will change accordingly to what is best suited once crypto take over the world. I'm sure there will still be versions of crypto in the future which can be used with anonimity.
280  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the top BTC mixers after Bitmixer? on: July 26, 2018, 05:53:03 AM
I suppose the only good working mixers are exchanges now. Deposit btc, withdraw btc. If you have nothing to hide it works well.
As far as I understand the international police is fighting against money laundering with crypto now. That's why all mixers are under high pressure.

To be honest, if you want to use an exchange platform to mix your coins better to make waves with your tshirt with your name printed on it. Your solution is one of the last I would do. It's so easy to track people. And if people say it works fine then they think it works because they didn't get any problem, but does it mean the solution is correct? No. Because you don't see the SWAT at your door tomorrow for the coin you mixed 2 days ago doesn't mean you mixed your coins correctly

Use proper mixers to get proper results or you will get what you pay for

+1 on this. Mixing your coins in an exchange can easily be tracked.
imo this can even cost you fee much more.
If you need a mixer just use a real mixing site.

There is cryptomixer which I personally used before and had no problem with using it.
Their ann: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1484009.msg14956325#msg14956325

Chipmixer, this one is actually a really good mixing site. I've only used them once but they are different to other normal mixer.

Another one is Bitcloack. Again, I have only used this once and everything went smoothly. The owner of this site is not that active here in bitcointalk or in advertising his mixing site tho.

All of those three have an onion link btw. You can use that instead of the clearnet version for extra anonymity.
