261  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel excited while gambling on: March 08, 2024, 07:59:57 PM
I feel only in the beginning of any session as the exitement is what keeps us coming back yet it can also disappear lightning fast when we are playing and we happen to hit a very bad session since early into the session there is nothing left of being excited when gambling. What I have noticed is that the RTP of most games is changed in any reputable casino and I have absolutely 0 doubts about it that is why I shifted my focus to sport gambling only.
the excitement comes when the game is about to start and the last one will come when you are about to win, but when you get to that point that it is no longer favoring you then you will become depressed, and that is one feeling that gambling comes with. if you want to gamble you must prepare yourself emotionally. and when you see that it is not in your favor then you should just quit and look for something else to do because gambling is something that can ruin you. the problem is whether you change casino or not you won't be favored if you are not lucky. because everything about gambling is luck. i don't think i have ever played casiona
Gambling will create a different mode - happy to sad and sad to happy.
More often, we feel excitement at the start of the game, especially when we are supporting our favorite team, and it changes in the middle of the game until the end. Even though we've been ready to accept whatever results of the game, sometimes it was hard to do it. Maybe we are too emotional and probably because we already think about winning which makes it not easy to accept the results and sometimes we even think wrong and manipulate.

But we should know that dealing with our feelings/emotions in gambling is necessary as I hear some news that someone has died due to a heart attack because of his huge losses.

262  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you avoid some games because of racism? on: March 08, 2024, 03:09:45 PM

Next time would you choose to not bet on a particular game because you feel the members of the VAR, or the referee are racist, and you are sure that there would be some manipulation?
In the case that we know there is manipulation, I don't think we have to do this instead, it deserves to be rejected. Otherwise, we make ourselves a fool knowing that our chances are very slim unless we place the bet on the team that they are planning to win. But I stand myself not to bet, I'd rather choose the other game than bet on a manipulated game.

And there is only one thing it means, that particular betting platform can't be trusted nor do we think that the results are fair. It is a shame for them to make money by cheating.
263  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any meme coin has the ability to challenge bitcoin dominance ? on: March 08, 2024, 02:09:10 PM
As far as I know bitcoin is the king in the crypto market. That's why memecoin can never surpass bitcoin. We all know that meme coins have very low performance and investors will never get the same profits as bitcoin if they jump here. Bitcoin longterm investment is much stronger than any other currency.
ETH, which has a fairly large market capitalization, cannot surpass Bitcoin, so what about memecoins which do not have fundamental strength? Memecoin or other coins have not had the opportunity to break the dominance of Bitcoin prices because their strength depends on other influences. Meanwhile, bitcoin is strong and has a good fundamental level for itself so that bitcoin can position itself as one of the popular coins that is in demand by many people.

I am not dismissing memecoins as a general step towards the development of cryptocurreny but it has nothing to do with dominance. Because memecoins do not have the power to defend themselves and instead they are present and abandoned by investors and developers when they have no long-term prospects.
It was not just the capitalization itself but the utility of the project which meme coins don't have, even other altcoins. Meme coins are an example of a crypto project that exists with no real purpose or commendation. It was just built to hype the crypto market, and it gained attention really, but also, these projects ruined the market as well as we know that a lot of people suffered losses from investing in them.

Indeed, it was noticeable for its current pump but as usual, they will dump afterwards. If we think this will challenge Bitcoin to dominate the market, then the developers must prove that their projects are worthy. Otherwise, people are right that these meme coins are worthless.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I don't understand you people... on: March 08, 2024, 12:52:42 PM
When I see that the price is flying down steeply, I sell everything and let it fall down. When it stops, then I buy cheap and I have earned...
BTC is going down now, so let it go and buy when it stops. We can all make money from it and then we will again get it up together!
You are making it right and profiting. Buy low and Sell High --that is how it works in investing. That is easy to understand unless we dare not to listen.
If all people are doing this, none of us are suffering losses and all will be rich but yes, we can't make them all do the same.
Quote
Unfortunately, there are always a few "geniuses" who go against the flow and they are buying when they should be selling, and that destroying everyone's earnings...
I'm seriously upset because a couple of such  " smart "  people just ruined my chance to make up loss... I would like to kick them somewhere!

That is an example of a person who thought that doing it in the right way was a big mistake, so change it and do the opposite.
Well, don't bother yourself seeing them and we have to accept the fact that not all are able to understand the situation and keep strong because many are weak and easily give up upon seeing their portfolio decrease.

265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 08, 2024, 01:42:39 AM
So with good import, and a good coach, there's no reason this team will be in the championship competition again.

Let's say, given that they have good import, a good coach, and good key players, let's face it, Meralco is generally lacking solid manpower. Their starters are the only foundation of the team and they are not even consistent. Their bench is full of literally seat warmers and a clapping squad.

Even Tim Cone, Steve Kerr, or the legendary Phil Jackson will handle Meralco, without enough manpower capable of filling the position that a coach wants in his strategy, nothing will happen. Meralco will just stay where they are as the priority is their sister company, TNT Katropa. They are just ahead of a bit over a considered farm team.

It's sad to hear about that farm team to be in the discussion again. I think Meralco should not be considered as a farm team as that would only mean TNT is only the legit team. Not good, if there is a farm team for TNT or Meralco, that should be coming from a team that never into the championship, like Blackwater or DYIP. It cannot be denied that they don't have the talented players like the other teams, AFAIK, only Newsome is included in the Gilas pool and he was just new to the national team. But the fact that they reach the finals before, that would still prove that it's on the coach, and now that they have a different coach, so the result is different as well.

You can't blame people talking about the farm team as it has been rampant in the PBA and it's already a well known rumor. We just have to accept that these farm teams are only their to play but not to compete at a high level, why? because they can't since their players are below average compared to the other legitimate teams. It's so disappointing but that has been how the PBA has been working so far, they are contented with it, and they are not making a changes despite the dislike of the fans.
266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is going to touch all time highs on: March 07, 2024, 09:38:27 PM
Bitcoin price has already touched 69000 thousand dollars, which is the highest price of 2021. So how reasonable do you think it is that the price of bitcoin will touch 70k dollar again if it takes another step forward?
I really expect those who sell their Bitcoin at $60k are in regret, and not happy with the current price.
I'd feel how FOMO influenced the mindset of the people but this is quite normal in the market as we can't hold people or make decisions over them as they know what is the best thing to do.

I say some speculations are right saying that there is a huge pump before halving. The price is still growing but can't expect this will be pumping more a few days before halving event as I smell people got into FOMO.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many times we will make the same mistake? - History repeats Again & Again! on: March 07, 2024, 08:49:57 PM
Gold has the lowest amount possible out of all three in your comparison but easy to fake.
Real Estate has the highest amount possible out of all three and will always grow with a steady growth, someone always wants to buy and its getting fewer and fewer.
Bitcoin has the medium amount possible out of all three but you can't and assume the next 15 yrs growth because of the last 15 yrs.

That is why a lot of people regret from not buying Bitcoin earlier because of that assumption. Although we can't assure that what happens today can be the same in the future, that is faith and trust. Risk-takers don't choose to be safe but rather prefer to take more but look, these people are earning more compared to those who invest in nothing.

Some people sell their gold for Bitcoin.
Some people sell their valuable properties for Bitcoin including land.
There is only one reason of these things --Bitcoin is the majority choice by most because of its growing price trend.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2023-2024 betting on: March 07, 2024, 01:42:28 PM
I lost yesterday's parlay by a single point as the Cavs beat the Celtics by 1...  Today I'm going with a little longer odds in hopes to make up for some of the recent catastrophe that is my gambling picks.

I feel good about the Magic and the Thunder.  The Cavs are the only underdog in this parlay, but they've been playing great lately and the Hawks have been playing without ice trae, so maybe the Cavs will get them today.

Washington Wizards - Orlando Magic
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Orlando Magic

Houston Rockets - Los Angeles Clippers
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Los Angeles Clippers

Atlanta Hawks - Cleveland Cavaliers
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Cleveland Cavaliers

Portland Trail Blazers - Oklahoma City Thunder
Winner (Incl. Overtime)
Oklahoma City Thunder

Odds
4.58

Almost, not quite, as the Hawks won against the Cavs, after their big win and huge comeback from the Celtics the other night, they seems to be exhausted.
Dean Wade only scored 9 points in 30 minutes as compare to his performance against Boston.

Really hard to hit this kind of parlay and even though it's no handicap and just ML, still, there will be just one game that will really messed it up and destroy your multi-bet. Clippers game though is very close, they've been trailing the whole game and finally found their range in the 4th quarter and erases the first quarter lead of 20 points by the Houston Rockets.

Clippers and Magic have been trailing in the early periods of the game, but they were able to come back and win the game. The same with Cavaliers, they were trailing, able to comeback but still fall short in the end. Parlay looking good but you know, one mistake will ruin it all. Failed last night, let's make a  new one for the upcoming games, I'm watching and waiting to tail @OgNasty .  Smiley
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest Only In a Coin that Increase in Value in this Bull Run. on: March 07, 2024, 10:20:36 AM
NO, I don't buy shitcoins but instead, I buy projects that have been known for their potential and have a working product. It will pump during bull run just like other projects but the huge difference is that these projects will never dump going to the bottom we can't expect recovery. It dumps as usual but it recovers back shortly. These are the project that we need to choose, not just increase its value ONLY during the bull season as it was not different from investing shitcoins.

A good choice of coins will also affect the results of our investment. We may see meme coins pumping high but if we miss selling them during their peak, it is hard to expect it rise again and earn.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 07, 2024, 05:52:06 AM
Big win by the Warriors against the Bucks. After losing 50 points at Boston, they had their own version of dominant win as well by beating Giannis team. A 35 point win at home, they are now back and let the winning streak start, this should bring a lot of confidence to them.

On the other game, we also have the Lakers who have a strong start but have collapse in the 2nd quarter only allowing the Kings to scored them 44-20..Lakers have really struggled, I don't know if they can still make it to the playoffs with this kind of inconsistency.
271  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you are not to gamble. on: March 06, 2024, 09:37:59 PM
 - Do not gamble if we only chase to win

There is no significance to continue doing this if in our mind is to chase our losses as it only leads to losing more. We have to remind ourselves that once losing control of ourselves, we can no longer think right but always mistakes. That is why we need time to relax our minds and stop gambling.

We have to understand that gambling is just for fun and pleasure. It is a big mistake to think we can earn or multiply our money through gambling as certainly it was impossible. That is why before gambling, we already accept whatever the outcomes and simply don't get attached to it.
272  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Or Investing which one is better to focus on right now? on: March 06, 2024, 08:51:44 PM
Since you are talking RIGHT NOW, then I would say that both trading and investing are worth it and profitable. Why? If you are an impatient person, buying known coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum will certainly give you profit even just in a few days believing that the price is continuously growing this time, unlike during bear season and even in trading.

But of course, you must think and asses your capabilities first which field you are fit for. Don't try trading if you are not totally ready and equipped with knowledge and skills, or even learn trading tools because even if the current market condition is good this never guarantees positive results. In this case, it is better to choose investing first before jumping to trading.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone have my wallet phrase on: March 06, 2024, 02:13:54 PM
In fact, what is the point of depositing our wallet when we know already that it was compromised? That is the stupidest decision we have ever made.
So instead of keeping that wallet, better create another where you are certain that it was all yours.

Well, a lot of people experience hacking incidents because they are still using an exposed wallet. Even if they notice unauthorized transactions, they still ignore them and continue using them. If we think about the security of our funds, no way we could think if using a compromised wallet but rather have a new one. Security is a must and we can't just set aside or ignore if we detect any unknown logins as that is an indication of something we don't want to happen someday.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Beterbiev vs. Bivol - Undisputed Light Heavyweight Championship on: March 06, 2024, 01:34:49 PM
We seldom see 50/50 fights, hardcore fight fans should be very happy that this one if finally happening. Credit to the winner but I can only hope Beterbiev had this opportunity during hsi younger years.

It's better late than never, dude. Beterbiev is still undefeated, so there's no reason to question his capability. Forget about his age and just look at how impressive he is in his previous fights. Having a 100% KO rate, this fighter is very scary, a monster he is, and Bivol has to make sure he has a game plan, not to go with the flow and try to measure the power of Beterbiev going toe to toe.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 06, 2024, 12:18:05 PM
It's the system that gives each players that same chances to showcase their talents, lucky for Alperen that he's being sorrounded by players who can work with the system and a coach who really knows how to execute their design plays, I agree with you he's a superstar in the making, just need to take care of his health and hopefully not to suffer to any major injury, there are many opportunities if he continue to play harder.

This team is not expected to play like how they played this season. I think they'll improve more in the seasons to come. They are still young with an experience coach who promotes better team play than individual game, I would no be surprise if next season or the next, this team will become a playoff contender. They have a good PG, and this guy Brooks brings a lot of energy to the team, if they keep themselves healthy, they'll be able to help this team to grow.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: March 05, 2024, 09:24:38 PM
That's right. Just like "if we are lucky today, it is possible we are unlucky by tomorrow" and that is because our strategies are not effective or the pattern has changed.

There is a simple thing that we need to understand --there is no mathematical calculation in gambling but instead, it is totally about luck. Of course, having knowledge is helpful but not the assurance of winning, if we are lucky, we could win but if not, we don't need to blame someone for manipulating results as we are truly unlucky that day.
277  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just a friendly Bitcoin friend reminder - High price = more scams on: March 05, 2024, 08:44:55 PM
Nothing happens if we ignore these emails, we are already aware of their purpose.
For newcomers and those who are just about to start, better to be more careful and it is best not to deal with strangers, especially for emails that address us to exchanges. If we are going to invest make sure that we are using the right site and only reputable exchange and never make use of this exchange wallet as a storage wallet but rather use an appropriate one.

Scammers will fail if we know how to protect ourselves from them but if we make ourselves totally ignorant about the current situation, not too far from falling into their hands and tricks.
278  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: March 05, 2024, 02:28:57 PM

Ryan recently was jailed claiming people took his money.
https://talksport.com/sport/1774522/ryan-garcia-jail-money-phone-emotional-message/

I think his mental disorder got worse with the videos he'd been posting. There may be intervention to be done to this guy seeing how much bragging he has been saying to sell this fight and the possibility that this fight will not happen. He'd been picking fights with even the UFC fighters and Sean Strickland even reacted to his mental breakdown.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=omTP0yMa5I4

He is good at selling his fight, so he could just be manipulating us so we will continue to talk about him. Good or bad publicity is still publicity, and it will work to attract people's attention. I doubt that this fight will not happen; they will make sure it will because they will be making a lot of money on this fight. Ryan may lose, but he will be a huge winner if PPV will hit the roof again and might surpass his previous success.
279  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 05, 2024, 12:47:32 PM
Tomorrow, another familiar teams will be facing.

In the first game, it's Bossing vs Converge, and the second game is Bolts vs NLEX. This is looking like teams have been shortened in numbers. I hope these times are not yet tired for playing a lot while other teams are still resting. Since we've seen them play in the past few days, then I think it would be easier to select the winner, or the trend will continue, which is one team is down big time in the first half, but they will have a big run in the 2nd half to win the game.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Identifying Potential Coins for the Bull Run? on: March 05, 2024, 11:07:56 AM
Checking should be done prior to investing...
 - exchanger
 - use case
 - people behind

New projects haven't that kind if stuff which is hard for them to consider when investing and of course, that was not easy for them to put on the list in top exchanges like Binance.

How do you find presales? and is there any now that you have suggestion for

Check for launchpads and reputed exchanges as most potential coins are now directly getting listed on exchanges through launchpads. I have seen some similarities with listing on Binance. Before they list any coins they would always announce it and you can check where exactly that coin is listed before Binance listing. You can buy that coin and then wait for the listing to happen on Binance. If you have enough BNB then put them on Binance launch pool and whenever they list a new coin you would get a good share of it.
It is a big factor for new projects to get listed in known and big exchanges as this will be an encouraging factor for investors to consider when choosing. That is why I don't go anywhere to look for a gem but rather stay on big exchanges because we believe that all the coins listed on that particular platform have market potential.
