1161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - June 17 on: June 14, 2023, 02:02:00 PM
Best fighters in the world and probably for the glory and pound for pound number 1.

The winner of this fight has a strong chance of claiming the number one pound-for-pound ranking.

According to the current rankings on https://www.ringtv.com/ratings/, Spence is ranked at number 4, while Crawford is at number 3. Therefore, I speculate that the winner of this fight may potentially be listed as the number one pound-for-pound fighter. However, I am not familiar with the exact criteria used to determine the number one ranking.
1162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hi Im trader over 12 years of experince here is my goal on: June 14, 2023, 01:10:34 PM
If that so seems like good profit but in terms of 7 USD and make a fee for your position and what kind of strategy are you trying to execute?. Just 7$ for the normal trade with a 125x leverage to gain a good profit also the market currently is taking a sideways and does not have a huge price movement 125x is very way risk and this thing must need to have a wallet balance to maintain, seems like you didn't update anymore and good to lock the thread.
I think OP would never say any updates after that post because he doesn't have proof of his achievements. It was an impossible and unrealistic target and even how many years you've been in trading, that's still not gonna make it.

I hope that was clear for OP and I believe locking this thread is necessary so we don't have to expect a reply or any update coming from OP as we know that he fails. Unless he tells us that was a sort of encouragement for people who want to trade and dream high. Yet, it was in the wrong way...
Maybe $7 to $100 is somewhat achievable in that time span.
1163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 14, 2023, 05:14:05 AM
Might be hard to break WB's record though for triple double. I guess it's better for him to retain it for next year. But it's going to be hard to win back back as teams are going to upgrade their roster for sure.
Eventually, that record will be broken as Jokic continues to play with more confidence. Unlike Westbrook's record, which was mostly caused by stat-padding with little impact on the team's success, I bet that even if Westbrook returns to OKC, he will not generate that same level of triple-double consistency anymore, as he has already slowed down.

Let's just face that the triple double Westbrook was already gone since he was traded towards the Washington Wizards because if I recall it correctly, since that point, his stats declined over the years until now that he's actively playing for Los Angeles Clippers but for Jokic though, he is still young and have more years left in the league, in which I see him breaking a few more records including Westbrook's all-time triple double because right now, he's in the 7th place and maybe next season he will replace Magic Johnson in the 3rd place.
There's still more to come from him, and his impact is truly enormous. I wouldn't be surprised if he joins the conversation among the greatest of all time (GOAT) in the NBA. Jokic has truly elevated the competition for big men, emphasizing the importance of not just attacking the paint and rebounding, but also excelling in passing the ball and shooting beyond the arc.
1164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: June 14, 2023, 04:34:18 AM

This fight doesn't pose a significant challenge for him; we shouldn't consider Santiago's age as a determining factor, as he is not a high-ranking boxer like Inoue, who truly dominates the sport. It is evident that, according to popular opinion, Donaire would effortlessly win this match. However, if our prediction proves incorrect, retirement should be the logical next step for Donaire.

He shouldn't be overly confident in this situation, considering his advancing age. It's evident that Alejandro Santiago is not a mere leftover in boxing, given his respectable ranking, which earned him the opportunity for a championship fight. Retirement may be the next step for Donaire if he fails, but let's not dwell on that just yet. His determination to fight and, importantly, to continue earning money is still evident.
1165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips on crypto investment on: June 13, 2023, 10:20:17 PM
Continuous learning is very important, not just in crypto alone but also in any form of investment because this is a tool to help us grow and achieve our goal/plan. That is why we don't have to feel confident that we are good already because of a few achievements but must continue learning more and discover new things and a new strategies as this will help us to become more competitive.

 - must learn more about how to choose coins for profitable investment
 - must know more about managing funds
 - must know how to analyze and track our investment
1166  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin trading be my sole source of income? on: June 13, 2023, 09:59:27 PM
If you have to adopt some strategy to trade then it is always possible to make profit by trading. There are people who do trading business to manage their daily life and continue trading as their source of income. A person starts his trading business first with Bitcoin. The risk of losing money while trading in Bitcoin is low, but there is some risk of losing money when trading in other cryptocurrencies. But a new trader can never perform well if he doesn't have that much knowledge about trading. So even if you invest in Bitcoin for trading, knowing the trading strategy is the most important thing.
Perhaps, we don't aim for loss but we come to trade as we aim to grow our $100 to $500(realistic goal). Yet, losses is inevitable in trading and that really happens no matter what we do. But why this is really happening? This is because of the volatile nature of the market that sometimes we make a wrong decision due to our wrong market analysis and price trajectory. And most of all, when our emotions drive us.

Trading is profitable, yet it was too risky and if you wanted to succeed, you also need to extend your patience and must carry positivity despite the struggles and losses you've made.

I also quite like KCP because the way he plays, in my opinion, often gives unexpected surprises that makes opposing players a little confused about taking action.

KCP is a good role player because he has matured and has a strong desire to win games. He also knows how to play defense, making his minutes on the floor highly productive, even if he struggles with his shooting at times. The Nuggets were fortunate to have him. If the Lakers had not traded him, he might have been able to contribute to their campaign last season.
1169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the best career for women on: June 12, 2023, 10:03:57 PM
So choosing Bitcoin as a career can be a good decision for girls.
Bitcoin is not a career mate, it can be considered as an investment. And it welcomes everyone who wants to invest it, in fact, even a single mom can do it. But it is not necessary that we have to stop our job and focus on Bitcoin as we can't rely on this as our sole source of income, it can be just as an additional income. Choosing this is another opportunity to earn more but we won't come to the point where we are too confident that having Bitcoin will feed the entire family and the return is instant.
1170  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: June 12, 2023, 09:45:52 PM
The government builds opportunities to help their people to make a living and survive but if we talk about ending poverty, we can't just rely on them solely, we also have to help ourselves to grow and increase our finances because it was the not government's responsibility. But I couldn't blame some people for questioning how their leaders respond to the needs of their citizens, some corrupt leaders won't see how to help them instead, they are prioritizing themselves to benefit the money from the people.
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are a lot of scams on Twitter, and illegal links steal your assets. on: June 09, 2023, 01:53:03 PM
Absolutely, it's crucial to be cautious and protect yourself from scams on Twitter. There are scammers who try to steal your assets by sharing illegal links. They may pose as popular individuals or projects, promising airdrops or investment opportunities. If you click on these links and give them your wallet information, your assets can be stolen. To stay safe, remember to be careful, verify sources, double-check URLs, and avoid sharing personal information. Stick to official channels and use secure wallets to safeguard your assets.
It is an existing concern for most but the problem is that people are still careless when dealing with links sends to them. They just click it and later they realized that they got caught with the bait. See how scammers take their chance and become their victims and this is because we are focused on what we have read (earnings/money) rather than thinking about what will happen next. That is why regrets never happen first but late - and so whatever we do, this won't change the reality, scams continue.
1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My friend interested in investing in BTC but the friend's father does not agree on: June 09, 2023, 01:22:34 PM
...
But my friend is not listening and instead he will invest on Bitcoin. I don't know what kind of suggestion I should make to my friend in such a situation. Should I ask my friend to invest in Bitcoin? Or ask to pay more attention to his job?
I don't think there is a need for your friend to worry about investing while working because he never spends much time on Bitcoin as a simple glance into his account and the market is enough. In fact, it will just consume a few minutes and it was done, and even if he's been trading, still okay how much more if he is just buying Bitcoin and holding it.

But this gonna have to say to your friend, told him to do more research and analyzed his situation before investing.
1173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to Hodl or buy the Dip? on: June 09, 2023, 12:53:57 PM
Isnt it time to take pause from crypto and just observe how SEC and Binance are fighting? Because this fight gonna last long, and the victory of one party will greatly influence on the market. Either a huge price drop and a stagnation, or a jump. I see no point of buying now, as the price easily can go lower. I prefer to watch from the side and hold. I think I will have plenty more chances to buy dip.
But having a pause also letting your self distance for a opportunity to earn? of course maybe sideways will happen but for investors like me? i think that Binance and Government war is just a flavor to taste but lets not take this our idea of investing.
because my Motto in life is "Better to Seek than to wait"

During last year I think we have seen more than 10 chances to buy at low price. Bitcoin price has been throwing here and there all the time, and imho, current conflict between SEC and Binance only postpone greatly change of market change. That is why I take a pause. I See no reason to buy today, because during next month there will be a slight growth and a drop, and we would get back to price when we started. Maybe it is appropriate to say that I am tired of increasing my balance with rebuys and resells.
Well, there is no reason to buy for those who accumulates Bitcoin in the past few days. But those who are just about to start will consider this as their time to buy more and make ready for the next bull season. Because we can't assure that the price of Bitcoin will drop again, of course, a parabolic trend is still what we possibly experience in the coming days but I think, we never reach back down below $25k. So making SEC and Binance issue as our concern, I don't think that is what we focus on as the price seems to move high and low all the time.

1174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't gamble if you don't have patience on: June 09, 2023, 12:10:54 PM
..... If the player is both impatient and greedy then that's the worst combination, a recipe for a disaster.
This is the exact point. These two combinations will really make us lost to any gambling. If we cannot manage our emotion in gambling, cannot manage the risks and also the funds for gambling, this will also lead someone to be more impatient. Moreover if he is panic enough to face the reality of gambling loss. They will be easily losing their money.

In many cases, gambling is nlt easy. If someone is being greedy and impatinent, moreover woth lack knowlegde amd ability for gambling.this means that this is very high risks, isn't this?
A lack of patience can lead to a bad situation and some gamblers don't pay attention to how emotional it can be to destroy lifestyle. Greedy users go for higher bets and it leads to burst bankroll sooner or later, which is why learning to control emotions may have a huge effect. Gambling losses shouldn't affect our personal life, if loss gets out of control it is going to leave a huge stamp on life, IMHO.
Terrible losses come because we choose to have them and it was the result of being too emotional. Some gamblers won't think about the outcomes at first but they just realized and are full of regrets once it happens to them. That is not to wonder why many gamblers have suffered losses because of making a decision that will lead to them in the wrong direction. Because if can just control ourselves and our emotions, definitely, we really enjoyed gambling even though there is time that we lose.
1175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Making a x10 or x100 by short selling on: June 09, 2023, 11:42:55 AM

Peer pressure is the one that baited them. If trading is that easy, everyone in the trading industry should've been a multimillionaire by now or even more. The expectation vs. reality hits really hard, especially if your funds get liquidated easily by putting like 20x up to 100x leverage hoping to make huge profits in just a short period of time.

In the end, they will be chasing their losses with their mixed emotions making it more hard for them to understand what profitable trading really is.
Apparently, this seems possible during the bull season but of course, we can't tell of earning consistently. I know that some traders are using this strategy but they don't keep it long because it was not really profitable in the long run. Because in trading, it was not just we know when to sell and when to buy but also, we must know how to wait. That is why selling shorts doesn't guarantee it will work every day having the scenario that the market trend changes often.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: June 09, 2023, 08:59:52 AM
I would be foolish to think you just pick Altcoins at random and invest into them, if you looked at the previous bull run, the 2017/2018 and the 2021/2022, it is the new set of Altcoins that do pumped. I don't expect the likes of Ethereum, XRP, Solano, Cardano, Tron etc to give the kind of returns that ARB, OP, SUI, Aptos etc the new tokens coming during this bear market. There are a lot of bag holders holding the old coins and they are waiting to break even and will continue to dump the tokens ones the tokens pumps, but these new Altcoins do not have bad holders and people have faith in it that it is the next Ethereum killer.
This is a dynamic that is often neglected by those bagholders, they all want to breakeven after the shitcoin in which they invested crashed and they were unable to get out in time.

But even if the developers behind the coin were honest about their intentions to bring the project back at its former glory, the truth is that as soon as the coin presented some positive movement then a bunch of bagholders desperate to recover some of their money back will sell their coins, making a full recovery an impossible task.
Trust is missing from that situation, bagholders aren't looking for a profit anymore but at least getting some from their investment even though they will lose. This could be a desperate idea but sounds practical if you fall into the wrong investment. That is why research is vital when it comes to investing because of a lot altcoins flooded the market and most of them (the majority) are potentially shitcoins while just a few of them are worth investing. If we could about that situation, we really think that we can't invest blindly and so we need to be more careful.

On the other hand, is it time to bring back Tyler Herro?
That's a big question now, and it's likely the big surprise the Heat could provide if they bring back Tyler Herro. However, the question still remains: is he 100% healthy and capable of contributing his usual numbers before the injury? If he returns but struggles to make an adjustment, he may become a burden for the team, and it's more likely that the Heat will lose again.
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management discussion on: June 09, 2023, 02:10:29 AM
When it comes to luck-based games, I don't really allot a certain percentage of my bankroll and just wing it. Besides, do I really need to be conservative with $20 if I'm just looking to have fun? Though when it comes to sports betting, if I have a $100, I'll make sure to make it last for 5 games and possibly win some games from those 5 games. That's as basic as it can get for me when it comes to bankroll management in gambling as a non-hardcore gambler who's just looking to have fun and some additional beer money.
When it comes to luck-based games, the best strategy is to aim for big wins while smartly managing a small capital. That way, if you lose, the impact won't be significant. It's all about risk management. We all know that in luck-based games, our chances of winning are very low, especially in the long run. Therefore, our only hope of winning lies in pure luck. So, if we are exceptionally lucky, that's the time to seize the opportunity and cash out. Once we achieve a big win, it's crucial to know when to stop and avoid being overly greedy.

On the other hand, when it comes to skill-based games, a more thorough approach and proper bankroll management are required. In these games, we believe we can win consistently in the long run. It's a gradual process of steady progress and improvement.
1179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: June 08, 2023, 09:57:40 PM
It is good for trading since most crypto depends on its price also the trading volume of it on spot and futures is huge, so it is difficult to manipulate unless the whales are making a move that will affect the price action of bitcoin.
Whales and top companies are the only ones that can manipulate or glitch bitcoin, which happens once in a long period of time, its price is not fixed, up and down movement. Bitocin trading volume is larger than most cryptocurrency in the mark. Bitcoin is a top coin in the market, it's fluctuations keeps getting worsen by the day, to mu surprise, most traders are acquainted with bitcoin and that strengthen me into trading it. I've made countless loss in trading bitocin and also profits, but making sure my profits surpassed my loss.
I'd learn to trade using Bitcoin but found it not just an option to take as I noticed that many traders are saying that altcoins are more profitable than Bitcoin. Yes, and I've found it right that is why I switch to using altcoins now and see huge different results and they are right. Honestly, I see altcoins are more volatile compared to Bitcoin and probably because of huge trade volume which makes it move high and low too fast and this is good in trading. But of course, we should be wise when choosing altcoins as not all are worth trading, market analysis is very important.
1180  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is ready for $40k on: June 08, 2023, 09:34:24 PM
I'd still think that there is another dump before it goes straight high. I believe that $40k is possible this year ( probably reachable in the 4th quarter) but as I said, it never goes straight, correction will still exist. That is why we still need to be patient, everything went so well and we're still able the market to turn bullish when halving comes. But for now, in a few months coming we probably seeing the price of Bitcoin still below $30k.
Well, might be right or wrong, nobody knows exactly but charts would tell something what will happen next.
