1041  Economy / Gambling / Re: Whats happening with Betnomi? on: July 18, 2023, 01:30:09 PM
I have 20 000$ stuck in betnomi. I would be impressed if you can offer that in bonuses Wink

Wait... you're not joking?

If this is true, then it seems that this gambler lacks knowledge of risk management. It's common knowledge that online casinos, or any online platforms for that matter, can shut down unexpectedly. Therefore, it is crucial to minimize risk exposure. $20k is a substantial amount of money for an average gambler, but I hope that the user who complained will be able to move on even if the full amount is not recovered.

As of the moment, the site is still inaccessible.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling everywhere on: July 18, 2023, 01:11:43 PM
So if you use our saved money to stake a bet, what really comes next to your mind? I will like us to talk about this.

What you're doing is already breaking the principle of responsible gambling. Spending your savings on gambling means you're risking money that you cannot afford to lose. When you experience losses, it can significantly impact your life going forward. It's important to follow preventive measures as they help reduce the risks associated with gambling.

Always remember that gambling is only for individuals who can afford it.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 18, 2023, 08:15:57 AM
With Ngannou earning 8 FIGURES, he will definitely give his hundred percent in this fight because if he wins, there is another opportunity for him in the rematch. Ofc if he loses, he wouldn't get a rematch.
Do you have the exact figures on how much he'll make in this fight? You are saying eight figures, so the minimum he will make is $10 million. I tried to search for the specific amount, but I only see that he is making around $6 to $8 million.

Quote
According to The Mirror, his purse for the Fury fight will exceed the £6m-a-fight ($8m) deal he was offered by the UFC to extend his stay and become their 'highest paid athlete' last year.

1044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 18, 2023, 07:50:40 AM
It may work, if Santiago will start slow and observe what style Donaire will use against him.

He might have that chance of beating Donaire if he will not engage in a toe-tot-toe confrontation, though it may boring the
fans if we will see more on defense with a lesser offense.

But, if that's the way how to win against the former champ, why not try your luck and use it? We will see what style
Santiago will use once the fight already takes place.

Santiago could emulate what Rido has done to Donaire when he beat the former, run, run and more running lol.

Rigo is a former Olympian (if my memory serves me right) and his speed is admirable so he could hit and run but i doubt Santiago could do the same, though i have not seen a fight of him but i speculate that he is not that fast.

Donaire is a counter-puncher and yeah, this fight will turn into a snore-feast if Santiago won't come out of his shell but i don't think he would do that as Mexicans are known to be warriors in the ring, they don't run in a fight so expect this fight to be explosive as usual for Donaire and hope the old guy's hand will be raised after the fight.

Unfortunately, Santiago's style differs from Rigo's. He is an aggressive fighter, so I believe it will be hard for him to adapt to a new style and that will give Donaire a chance to execute his game plan effectively. Santiago is a warrior, unlike Rigo, and I believe he has the confidence to potentially knock out Donaire, so he will surely attack.
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Be patient and you will be there soon. on: July 17, 2023, 09:55:23 PM
We've got this idea and hoping that Bitcoin will soar high again. Most of us are looking forwards to seeing the price of Bitcoin reach $100k, in fact, many speculations that it was possible and so some people had choose to hold waiting for the moment. Well, maybe I was not that kind of holder nor I can't say that I was impatient but for me, I hold for some reason, not just to wait for that price to come. If ever the price will reach $75k, I will sell them right away because it was indeed a great opportunity for me, as we can't assure what will happen next. Buying at $30k and then selling at $75k, I doubled the price already which is enough for me.
1046  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest in Marketing on: July 16, 2023, 12:32:11 PM
Marketing is a vital tool used to win one's heart and attracts investors, buyers, or users. We can't deny the fact that huge companies are using this strategy as it was really effective and the impact is great. And they spend millions on ads knowing that the return is more than the amount they spent. So, if are in business and wanted to spread information, become competitive and increase sales, we have to learn to go this way otherwise, we lose the market competition.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever felt remorse after gambling? on: July 14, 2023, 08:15:25 PM
I don't think that there's any gambler that hasn't for one time felt remorseful after gambling in the history of the game of gambling. Though most of these gamblers will still have to go back to gambling immediately the pains of losing is reduced especially the gambling addicts.
It is believed that there's a level one will get to in gambling and wouldn't be feeling too bad when they lose because they know that losing is also part of the game
Regrets always happen in gambling every time we lose. But despite this, they still continue to gamble and probably lose more. I would say that gamblers won't easily get change even though they will lose millions because it was not just because they are wanting to get their losses back but because they felt happiness from doing this. That is why some people just got drunk when they lose as a sort of regret as they wanted to forget what happen to them and enjoy life rather than thinking about it.
1048  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is done! Now this is what we are left with! on: July 14, 2023, 07:43:48 PM
It was really hard to assume what will happen next and probably we can't witness that time. We'd forget that there are a lot of things that may change along its journey. In fact, who knows that Bitcoin will be dead before that time? Now, we only have trust that this will become long-term but can't assure forever. However, it was not the time to prepare for it and bothered us too much because I know that we can adapt to the situation when it comes and anticipated it before it happens. What we need is to keep updated and aware of the market situation.
1049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Ripple Effect on: July 14, 2023, 07:26:02 PM
Well, it was just too early to celebrate and think that this is it. Until the case wasn't closed, anything that happens is possible whether the price will pump or dump. As for the holders, it is quite seeing the light from it but as I've said, we are not sure what will happen next until the SEC decide that XRP is clear. However, it was good to see some improvement in the case and it means that the Ripple team has been working to solve their issue for many years that they've been in this case, maybe there is a time to end it.
1050  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: July 14, 2023, 06:35:50 PM
Making a daily 100$ on an online casino is quiet hard to be honest and it depends much on luck as well as how wise you are when it comes to pick the gambling games. I believe that there’s some strategies that could be safe but it’s not fully guaranteed that you’ll end up in a profit, So basically you need to be lucky as well as smart when placing your bets.

To be honest it won’t be so hard for people who bet with a lot of money, it’ll be easier to make the 100$ a day but you’ll end up losing if you keep betting a lot in just low odds.
Making $100 per day is only possible with exceptional gambling strategy and luck. I'm not guaranteeing anyone that using strategy would result in boosted profits, considering not every strategies work with the system. Minimal odds result in a lower risk in gambling; it's just a matter of time before we discover that the system has been designed up for us to succumb, and only the clever survive. The casino gambling system doesn't seem just about how many games a gambler can bet on; it's also about how smart and precise your gambling technique is.
But that still doesn't guarantee that someone can earn $100 daily because no one can guarantee that in gambling. And even though they say that if there is a strategy that can help him to win, it's still not easy because the target is too high unless perhaps that person is a professional gambler. A professional gambler may be able to generate income from gambling, but the amount may not remain that large because earning money from gambling will certainly vary. We can only try it without the need to set a target for the amount of money we want to achieve so that it won't make us try to chase it hard.

Well, truth is, even the professional gamblers are also having a hard time to commit on the daily quota that they should get because fact is, gambling doesn't provide a guaranteed income to the gamblers. But since we're inside the topic of a hundred bucks, it will be an easy thing for these pro gamblers to get that money as for them, they don't usually bet within that range or even think of it as their minimum.

If you're that someone who want a much higher chance of winning, then seeking some help from a professional gambler might do the trick but be ready for the part where they will have some cut of that winnings because none of that are free. They worked hard for that and it is safe to assume that there's a fee for every advice they gave to you.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 14, 2023, 06:07:37 PM
I read it will be a real fight, not an exhibition. They did not state how many rounds it is scheduled for. I don’t think it will go the full distance regardless if it's 6 or 8 or 10 rounds. Two big, powerful hitters, we could easily see a knockout.

Fury's WBC belt will not be on the line for the winner. This is definitely the right decision since it is Ngannou‘s very first boxing match

That's more like it because it will be just a pure circus act if the fight is an exhibition but since the WBC belt is on the line, we can expect a much interesting fight because Francis Ngannou is known to be true in his fights, he doesn't want to receive a huge sum in-exchange for a circus because for him, it will be an honor to entertain the fans whether if it's his or Fury's.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 14, 2023, 03:09:28 PM
And that is what happening right now to James Harden, he just wanted Philly not because he see his chance to win the championship but because he just wanted a way out from the Nets, and now, he wanted to be in the right team that can provide him what he wanted. But I doubt that will happen though, he is becoming a liability instead of an asset.

With his value in terms of money, I say he is not the same player who carries the Houston Rockets to its success before.  Maybe it's just normal when a star player join with another star player because their will be a change of strategy, like when Harden was with the Houston, he used to make all the decisions or the play to be specific, but when he joined Joel Embiid, he cannot do that anymore as the latter is the franchise player. In addition, he is also aging and has become a bit of injury prone player, so overall, his value has really diminish.
1053  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will you sell...next bull run? on: July 14, 2023, 09:38:32 AM
My question goes like this
1. What price do you think that bitcoin will hit in the next ATH.
It was hard to tell as the price is unpredictable but I expect it will surpass the last ATH, $80k is quite possible.
Quote
2. When do you plan to sell and make good profit from your bitcoin portfolio,is it next bull season or the next two bull market, because bitcoin price is always tempting during the bull run.
I sell at the time it surpasses that last ATH, and not wait higher. Because I see this as the safest way as I experience before that I missed the ATH as I thought that it rallies more. But sadly, our expectations had failed as it drop after a few days from reaching ATH. And this is possibly going to happen. If I can still hold and be able to sell at $75k, that was a huge profit already which is enough to compensate me for risking and holding for many years.
1054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could XRP win in SEC case be a start for next bull run? on: July 14, 2023, 06:01:08 AM
Bear markets are influenced by negative events, while the other way around for bull, both depending on significant 'base' event, paving way for further.

I believe this xrp ruling could be start of the next bull run, and we will be seeing positive events from now on. Halving is also coming which should propel up the market as well. What do you think?
I'm doubtful it does a huge impact but as we can see, their issue with the SEC has been for many years and we've passed the 2021 bull season already. Meaning, it was not the XRP that could lift up the current market situation or the SEC but it was the trust of investors and new adapters. We seek bigger demand in order to fill the declining gap and I know people are not only investing in XRP but mostly in Bitcoin. Whatever will happen to XRP it doesn't really matter as the market will become bullish without this project - IMO.
1055  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture can save your country from recession on: July 13, 2023, 11:39:42 PM
Farming has been encouraged in some countries that have the potential of growing vegies and other crops. In our country, the government put a huge budget helping the agricultural sector to grow and become productive and the results are great and therefore, we could really say that it has a huge impact on the economic flows of the country and lowers the price of our basic necessities. But this is not enough to skip from recessions, though it was a helping factor to increase income but because of corruption, we can't significantly see it changing, sadly we even see it worse.
1056  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My personal savings now I will invest in Bitcoin on: July 13, 2023, 10:50:28 PM
It makes sense if you look at the conditions you described for your country to move because this can also be one of the security and comfort for you but in this case you have to pay attention to something else because what I often read and what I know so far, your country is still not too friendly to bitcoin so in this case of course you have to be more careful because it could be that what you do violates the rules of the government so you don't get another loss from this even though there are several other friends from the same country as you also still in bitcoin on this forum.
Being in bitcoin still has risks but when looking at the conditions of the current economic chaos the best way to move is the right choice.
We have to think about the safety of our investment and on his part, it is something he needs to look at because his leaving in a country where the government has no support for crypto. If I have a plan to invest in Bitcoin it should be minimal considering that it was not totally legal. It is better to use it in running a business where at least we can assure that the government won't touch and questioned it. It was the legality of Bitcoin is the main concern and we can't afford to risk any as we are not sure that someday the government will seize it or ban Bitcoin.
1057  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade with caution on: July 13, 2023, 10:18:47 PM
That 3rd statement is true and has always been the case for the majority. Just as everyone is aware that they're on the profit, they're passing it on. It's because that they're thinking that the profit might be higher than what's being seen at the moment. Thus, greed is being detected on the majority while it's possible to sell at just keep the profit and win by that time, they're letting it pass because of the thought that the profit might be higher if they wait a little bit longer. Yes, that's possible but for how long? Years? or just a few days or just a few hours? Do not forget to satisfy yourself and take that profit.
You know it’s hard to satisfy oneself and not wanting more because we are born greedy and hence, without satisfaction. And if greedy people decide to trade, it will be a struggle for them fighting their own greed and emotions. That’s the reality, but despite it, there are still good number of traders who have overcome that and end up trading successfully. Aside from controlling its greed and emotions, patience also matter so you can perfectly trade your coins at its best and reasonable price.
Greediness is the main reason why many traders fail because such feeling will now be controlling their minds and usually makes decisions wrongly. Indeed, controlling such emotion is the key to success but unfortunately, it becomes a challenge for them that is why, despite the fact that they are trying to do it, they still fall into such things from time to time until they give up. That is why for so many traders that have been in the crypto space, only a few heading in the right direction and succeed while many had gone failing.
1058  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hodling Bitcoin on: July 13, 2023, 01:01:20 PM
Bitcoin hodling is something almost everyone on this forum is eager to partake in or already partaking in.
However I did some research and discovered most forum members do a lot of Bitcoin transaction, and sometimes leaves them with little or no hodlings in their wallets. Of course Some on the other hand have most of their Bitcoins as hodlings in their wallets  although they still transact with Bitcoins . Holding Bitcoin is a choice however for those that have Bitcoin holdings how do you manage to minimize Bitcoin transactions to increase your hodlings.

Though hodling Bitcoins can be tempting to transact with sometimes
If you are into holding, then you must hold. Unfortunately, the majority aren't doing base on the plan which is why only a few investors become true holders while the others become panic sellers. I can relate to this situation, yes, I've been in planning to hold long-term but it never happens because I was tempted and worried when I saw price corrections. This means that my emotions are controlling me and acting based on it, not because this is the plan.
1059  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 13, 2023, 11:27:28 AM
We will see, Fulton is going to public and says that he is not afraid of Inoue's power. So maybe they have a game plan on how they are going to play with Inoue's power or exploit his weakness if they have seen one already.

So the champ is very confident in his ability. Because if not then he wouldn't travel to Inoue's country.

And speaking of that, I saw video clips or at least news that Fulton is already in Japan and most likely he is trying to acclimatized himself already.

That's what some of Inoue's opponents have mentioned before their fights. They initially claim not to be afraid to face him, but once they experience Inoue's power, they often change their strategy and focus more on surviving the fight rather than aiming for a victory. Hopefully, we will witness a different scenario in this upcoming fight.
1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 13, 2023, 10:58:22 AM
Who wanted to hear any update on this fight?

Bad new first then good news?

Bad news is that this fight is not going to happen anymore at the original date of July 15th.

Quote
BoxingScene.com has learned that Donaire-Santiago will no longer take place this Saturday at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas as originally scheduled. The vacant WBC bantamweight title fight will instead land on the undercard of the Errol Spence-Terence Crawford Showtime Pay-Per-View event July 29 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

https://www.boxingscene.com/donaire-santiago-pull-from-saturdays-show-land-on-spence-crawford-undercard--176086

The good news is that it will land on the Crawford vs Spence fight July 29th. I think it's a good move by Showtime, I mean if we go on the Crawford vs Spence thread fight, when the undercard was released, I will say that most of us are disappointed because there is no name in the undercard.

So definitely it will bolster the PPV number of Crawford vs Spence and then Donaire vs Santiago will have a broader audience, win-win situation.

Should this fight become the co-main event because they are fighting for the WBC bantamweight championship? Does this also give a chance for Nonito and Santiago to have the promotion put more money in their purse? They should be given more money. Nonito's millions of fans from the Philippines will certainly add more eyes to watch Spence vs. Crawford, I reckon.

It's really hard to see if promotions are going to put more money on either Donaire or Santiago. The good news is that they are included in this huge fight so maybe there could be some negotiations as to their purse split or PPV, but we are not sure of that.

Regardless, the country of the Philippines are going tune for this fight, to see if Nonito can get and become a world champion again and at his age, reset the records for the oldest bantamweight champion.

A sudden change in schedule can be quite frustrating. However, if we consider the big picture, we can understand that the promoters are making decisions that are in the best interest of this fight. Being an undercard on the Spence vs Crawford fight would likely ensure better revenue for the event. This change can be seen as a positive treat for the fans since they will have the opportunity to witness multiple championship fights, which are considered significant events in the boxing world.
