1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time for bounties and airdrops as we near bull season on: July 21, 2023, 09:16:15 PM
I couldn't imagine that there still a lot of people are relying on airdrops and thinking become lucky. In fact, so many discussions that talk about this and the response from hunters are the same - they get scammed, never paid, no value token.

Well, something we know is that developers usually launched their projects when the bull season is near. That is why we can see a lot of projects arise and offer rewards that could really attract hunters. Yet, we should also have to do research otherwise, we are wasting our time from them.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mistake that prevented your big win. on: July 21, 2023, 04:59:55 PM
As a gambler,I know that we have done so many mistakes in the pass base on our bets and wrong strategy or calculations that we have done which led to losing the game that was suppose to make you win big. I want to use myself as an example,I love sportbet and I bet more on it. Last months I placed my bet on 7 games that was to be played for two days. When the 5th game was played, all matches came out as predicted and I was called by the casino,to offer me a cash out of $200 in my local currency and I refused it because if the other two games was played and the I got the predictions right. I will win $1200,so I turned the offer down. The painful part of it was that the two games were to kick off on the same time, and after the games,my prediction for the two games was wrong. I felt so bad because I allowed greed to control my emotion. For this reason,I having decided that when ever I have an opportunity to cash out again,I will always go for it,instead of thinking that I can win all the money.
So my question is this,as a gambler what mistake have you made when gambling that prevented you from winning big.
Let's discuss.
We often commit mistakes in gambling because we always got influenced by our greed and thinking that it was our lucky day today. Unfortunately, luck doesn't stay all day and so if we win at this time, later we possibly lose (this is based on my experience) which is why usually emptied our wallets. And even though we have that idea but sad to say that situation keeps repeating. We surely ask why but I would say that this is how gambling works - we win and we lose.
1023  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 10 tips to manage one's emotions while trading crypto. on: July 21, 2023, 04:45:27 PM
Perhaps we can control it because it was us but why do our bad emotions and greediness still exist? We can rip off of that because it was part of our life and human beings have it.

Controlling it is a big challenge to everyone but yes, as long as we are certain of our goal and consistently following it, ain't a problem. What we gonna do is to keep our mind focus on winning and keeping positive because in this way, we are able to overcome fears and uncertainty which is a big factor that affects our mind and will change everything.
1024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching Bitcoin is not do or die on: July 21, 2023, 01:56:18 PM
Cryptocurrencies have become a popular topic in the growing global economy. Bitcoin is gaining popularity as a digital currency. I think there is no harm in learning about the technology behind Bitcoin. Because acquiring knowledge about digital currency is not something for which life can be lost. Moreover, knowing about Bitcoin does not mean you have to invest. I hope, Teaching Bitcoin is not do or die its not true.
The purpose of learning Bitcoin is not only that we are about to invest but also, we also know how it works and its importance. And those who have an interest will likely pursue learning and encourage themselves which is why it was forcefully introduced to someone else but rather teach those who are capable and wanted to educate themselves. It was individual traction and we have a reason to learn or ignored it. If it was beneficial to us then why not learn about it but if not, then I don't think we have to waste our time.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moonbeam - good investment? on: July 21, 2023, 01:27:28 PM
Hi,

I have just come across Moonbeam and debating if I should add it to my portfolio and just wondering if many others are holding or even aware of this project?

It is currently trading at £0.18 with a £129m market cap so feel it has room to grow.

It dropped down to its all time low last month at £0.16 so feel it is great time to start buying if it has potential.

Worth buying?
Not for me...I'd never invest in DOT and so no reason why I have to invest in projects that has a similar function.
If it dumps today, we can't expect it to recover back strongly in the future but likely it was a sign that it lost its opportunity to gather more investors and help that situation out. It was really hard for the projects to sustain when they don't have strong market support, unlike Bitcoin and ETH. Because even we can see it dumps countless time but when the bull season comes, it rises back high as well and make another record.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: July 21, 2023, 12:50:07 PM
Trying to cheat a casino cam only be fine when you don't have much money in your account and don't have the plan to stay for a very long time in the casino because it is certain that the person will be ban or account locked as quick as possible. Many of these casinos are always strict and ready to penalize us when we do something contrary to there terms and conditions especially when the person a has some money in there account. It will be unwise for us to try and cheat a casino when we know that the casino can in any ways freeze our account for breaking there team's and conditions.

Cheating on anything can never be fine.  It is a matter of morality.  Just put yourself in other shoes.  Are you happy being cheated?  Obviously, you will not and probably will take your revenge on the person who cheated on you.  In gambling history, cheating is one of the major reasons for bloodbaths among gamblers.

No matter how long our intention to stay and play in a casino, it is always a good thing to exit with a clean account than an exit due to being banned because of cheating.
Cheating may happen to someone who is desperate enough to win. But for us who have just wanted to play fair, this certainly won't appear on our minds. And besides, cheating won't stay long and succeed always as they sooner they'll get caught. I don't think it was compensable enough to ruin our reputation just for a few bucks. As long as the site doesn't cheat us, I don't think we need to do that as well because, in the end, cheaters never win. In fact, many sites found cheating and stopped, which eventually happen to us as well -and get banned.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 21, 2023, 12:15:05 PM

Let us not forget that the fight will be held in Japan, the only way for you to win is via knockout and I don't think that Fulton could KO Inoue so with that I will be betting Inoue to win via decision @3.10, a good bet for me.

Good luck, but honestly, I find it hard to believe in anything other than a KO win by Inoue. You know, he is a KO artist, so it's most likely he will win via KO if you believe he will win. The reason why a KO win by Inoue has lower odds is because it's likely what we will witness. So, I'm still with Inoue, but on the KO win.
1028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - why no major pump? What to expect now? on: July 21, 2023, 09:56:50 AM
I have only been invested in XRP for 3 months and its great they have now won the case but I expected more.

For months I have been reading and watching videos online of predictions ranging from $2-10 when they win case and it didnt even reach $1. Why?

I will hold for now and buy more if we go lower but did expect more , what is everyone else thinking?
Let us say that they won the case but can't please people to invest in XRP for that sake. And ever since XRP hasn't in bullish like other altcoins, so never expect it to go like that because it never happens.

That is why I don't buy XRP for holding but this is for my TX fee. XRP is not a good coin to invest nor to say it was profitable. It is better to choose meme coin for this in short term which can give you profit rather than wasting time holding XRP for many years and it only gives you less.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seniors vs Kids — in the future of Bitcoin on: July 21, 2023, 09:18:49 AM
...

Do you agree that kids is the future of Bitcoin than with seniors?
And which of them will contribute the most?
Of course, kids are the future. And yes, you are right. We shouldn't force kids to learn about Bitcoin. I mean why would they need to learn about the technical aspects of blockchain and crypto currencies? That would only complicate things for them and would confuse them. Kids don't have enough knowledge to actually process any of those thing. But, regular use of bitcoin like a currency - we should be teaching them that. But I doubt there is any need for "forcing" them to use or learn it. Did you force your kids to learn how to use regular money? I don't think so.
We can't force them either but for sure they will gain interest from learning in the future. Bitcoin will continue to grow, that is why a foresaw. It can't be done instantly, of course, when this new generation will understand and see the importance of this creation the adoption continues. We can't expect that people will adopt it but I believe that the majority will take this opportunity and start using Bitcoin. It is technical but can be learned if we are really wanted to learn it, unless we are lazy enough to do that.
1030  Economy / Economics / Re: Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? on: July 20, 2023, 09:55:34 PM

The people in these stories followed their passion and created wealth through it. What is your opinion on following one's passion in relation to wealth? Can your passion lead to an increase in your net worth? If yes, what is stopping you from following it?

I believe that, however, it was not only passion that bring success to them but also they open a business that really suits the needs of everyone - it was a food business and we know that it was a necessity so definitely will grow and give profit especially of manage well. It really depends on what is needed around us because not all of it works well, many had failed also from following their passion and sacrificing themselves to open for others. That is why we have these simple words - "leaving out of our comfort zone". Because we never know there is a great opportunity, yet we are afraid to take it because we are not comfortable enough to do it.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold the altcoins and invested in Bitcoin" on: July 20, 2023, 09:34:34 PM

You should also know that investing in bitcoin must be with large enough funds, in order to generate maximum profits, because the price of bitcoin is high enough, if you have small funds it is better to invest in altcoins only. you've done that, I appreciate what you did but it's just my suggestion, now what you need to do is continue to be able to add funds to make further purchases, in order to have the maximum amount, because the upgrade time is still quite long.
There are no such rules in crypto investment that if you have only small capital you will invest in altcoins and if you have huge capital you will go for Bitcoin. I don't know where you get that.  Because you can buy Bitcoin using our small capital and besides, it was not only it matters on the capital on how much you possibly earn but also on how you manage it and it was still the same from investing altcoins.

It was encouraged to buy Bitcoin no matte what you have because it was a reliable investment. If we aim for less risk, then this is the best choice.
1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 20, 2023, 12:38:02 PM
Anyone seen the video of Fulton getting a birthday cake from a Japanese?

But for sure, he want's to be cordial but he might be cautious as well. Remember Michael Jordan's food poisoning from a Pizza when he was in Utah? I'm not saying that this could be a trap from Fulton as it could be laid with something. But I guess they are wise enough not to consume that pizza from a Japanese bakery just to be on the safe side.  Smiley

I did not see that, but for sure anyone who's Japanese did that with no intention to harm. I think, It was just a way to appreciate and respect their country man's opponent.  Japanese character are known to be honest and respectful. So, I don't think that's gonna be the case, but to be more cautious I can't blame Fulton's camp if they refuse to consume that gift, I bet we all could understand. Nevertheless, if there will a food poisoning case, it will be easily diagnosed and I don't think Fulton will make any excuses here to cancel or delay the fight, because he already expresses his eagerness for this fight to happen in the first place.
This will for sure going to be an exciting fight. I will not expect anymore dramas between the 2 camps till the fight night as both teams are now in a deeper focus at this point.

This is what I found,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j857RzWiwsc

Yeah, I think Fulton is not happy with that cake, but what can he do, maybe the Japanese just appreciate him traveling to Japan and fight their national hero there. But he has every right to not accept or not eat it. It's up to him.

And I don't think this will create drama, I mean we are all been waiting for this fight already.

In that video you share he I think he still appreciates it as he still blows the candles,

But in terms of planning to accept and eat the cake, the video itself shows that he didn't take it and for sure no plan
of even tasting it. I also don't expect that it will create any drama as the fight was scheduled and already been postponed
and having him now in Japan and doing his routine means that he's all set to face the Monster.

It's better to be safe than sorry. He is preparing for a big fight, and he wants to make sure he is 100% ready, as that's the only way to beat Inoue. Some critics are saying that Fulton could win since Inoue hasn't really fought real boxers from the USA. Maybe the biggest boxer Inoue beat was Donaire, but the latter was no longer in his prime. Therefore, Fulton poses a significant challenge for him.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 20, 2023, 12:01:34 PM
Both Santiago and Donaire will earn not just the possible crowd, but the main deal is the money that will going to flow.

It's the way how they will use this opportunity individually to hype up their careers, more viewers more chance of good upcoming fights.
That's business; they will not make this fight happen without money. It's not a real competition where they are representing their country. Nowadays, it's just secondary, as money is the main inspiration for these boxers who want to be at the top.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be watchful it's not yet time on: July 19, 2023, 09:53:29 PM
Many people have gained trust that we are automatically back to the bullrun, this made them to be free in choosing altcoin and newly launched tokens without knowing that cryptocurrency price action and movement are so unpredictably. It could be high at this very moment and In the next few moments we may witness a serious dip without knowing what propelled to such rejection in price.
I'd never see it was wrong as we are in the accumulation stage. People are buying cheap coins thinking that they will pump when the bull season comes but what it went wrong if they are investing in useless projects?
Quote
Deep down inside out minds we taught the halving is already there, so therefore we are free to still make whatever choices we want since any coin we buy and hold makes progress during the bullrun, It would likely affect us by making wrong choice. Do your research and never rely on anyone to give you accurate information about any projects because it's your money and by no chance did those people contributed to you.

Good luck and stay safe while we patiently wait to swimming into bull season.
Indeed, it was too early to think about Bullrun but can't stop people from doing that as we are expecting it to happen as well after halving.
However, I don't stop people from doing that but just only suggested that they need to be cautious when buying coins because not all new projects went high during the bull season unlike before.
1035  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't expect everyone to embrace Bitcoin on: July 19, 2023, 09:30:38 PM
That's the reality and we can't force everyone to take the risk and embrace this technology. However, I still encourage them to take this opportunity while they still have time because it happens that many people rejected this before but for now, they're in regret. We need to become open-minded and see what is another opportunity to improve our finance and we know that Bitcoin had changed the life of many people. Of course, it can't be ignored, and just say that was not true. We don't just believe because we saw someone improve but rather change that mentality.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This time for meme coin? on: July 19, 2023, 09:25:09 AM
You probably know that almost all new meme projects are coming out now. Do you think it is really risky? what effect do you think this could have for the bull market!
I could say yes as it draws too much attention and makes their price grow up which can be expected. However, it wasn't like we think that the market is reliant on that particular situation, yet their participation had contributed a lot. That is why I could say that this year is for meme coins but I wasn't thinking that it will become sustainable, maybe we could witness another project soar high next year. In fact, as we can see before from ICO projects, IEO, and NFT, now we are in meme's time. And all of them have a huge impact in the market.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 19, 2023, 02:45:51 AM
Can you explain me why i need to learned gambling?

Simply put, here only millions of money are managed by asset owners, so where i have no money. In fact, i have ideas about gambling, but I don't have the ability to spend money there.
You don't need to gamble if you don't have the money because money is a basic requirement for gambling.

However, you can still earn money from gambling without risking your own funds. One way to do this is by becoming an affiliate marketer and promoting gambling sites, earning commissions when new gamblers sign up through your affiliate link.

Many people make decent money from affiliate marketing, particularly those who have influential social media accounts or other avenues of promotion. In this field, the outcome and earning potential matter, and as long as you're earning, you can consider yourself successful. Perhaps over time, you may accumulate enough money to participate in gambling if you choose to do so.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 19, 2023, 02:24:22 AM
There is still some small element of upsets here, Mike Tyson during his prime was upset by Buster Douglas, it's not a lucky shot though, it is because Mike Tyson didn't train that hard in the gym but just casually go and not put 100% of his effort and then underestimate Douglas.

So if Fury will have that kind of mentality here, thinking that Francis is just a walk in the park for him because he is not a pure boxer but a MMA and trying to cross over, then it could be the same outcome.

Overconfidence sure and at the same time belittling the opponent sure can give a boxer his demise.  Since when a boxer enter that states, he somehow don't put 100% of his effort and just toy with the opponent when his opponent is exerting more than 100% of his ability.  So this event bring lapses to the one who is overconfident and eventually gets cocky and careless which enhance the possibility of an upset win.

But I do not think that Tyso Fury will exercise this thing since as a champion and well-experienced boxer, he knows what to do.  Besides he's been careful in choosing his opponent to avoid blemishing his record, I am sure that Tyson Fury will not be careless in this fight.

Indeed, Fury is aware of his opponent's knockout power, and he will take precautions to avoid getting knocked out. His undefeated record showcases his discipline and dedication as a boxer. Fury trains hard for every fight and demonstrates high ring intelligence. He has shown resilience by knowing how to recover and stand up after being knocked down. These qualities highlight his strength and capabilities in the ring, so I would see an upset only a slight chance.

There is also a news that Teo Lopez is back and is looking for a 140 lbs clash with Devin Haney. We all know that Teo said that he has officially retired after beating Josh Taylor. Now, WBO has order a fight between Arnold Barboza and Jose Ramirez. But Lopez was given 24 hours to respond and block that fight and so he did. But he wanted Haney in his return as Devin says that he will move up in weight. So lots of interesting development here.

Not to boast but I expected this to happen, not to Devin Haney as a target specifically but I already thought that Teo Lopez might surprise us again as he now feel the urge to be somebody as he is now a champion at 140 lbs. because there is no sense at all in retirement at such an early age after winning a championship.

Shakur is trying to enforce his mandatory with the WBC against Haney at lightweight. There is some real animosity between Teo and Haney so that is also an interesting option. Lomachenko is the most deserving of an opportunity due to how close their fight was. It appears that Haney isn't interested in any of these options and will instead fight Regis Prograis. Eddie Hearn must have made a massive offer since that is probably the least interesting option for Haney. Regis Prograis looked awful in his last fight and couldn't even sell tickets in his hometown.

On a positive note, if Haney vacates his lightweight titles then we will probably see Shakur vs. Lomachenko which is one of the best matchups that can possibly be made.

Yes, WBC now has mandated Haney to fight Shakur. So Haney has until Friday to decide whether he wanted to pursue that fight or not. If he goes to 140 lbs, then it will be Regis Prograis waiting for him.

Hard decision for Haney?

Less risk for him is Prograis obviously.

High risk is Shakur. But definitely more money in the table perhaps. But I think Shakur has a good chance to pull an upset.

He should consider where the money will flow more, as people deserve to witness an exciting fight. Shakur vs Haney is indeed an appealing matchup, even better than his fight with Loma, given that both fighters are currently in their prime. While Haney may have a slight advantage due to his size, Shakur's intelligence and high ring IQ make this fight truly unpredictable, and that's precisely what the fans want to see.
1040  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Have you ever been scammed ? on: July 18, 2023, 10:25:48 PM
I've been scammed by someone for trusting and giving him the money to buy Bitcoin but sadly, the transaction failed due to a scam exchange that he used, and never get back my money anymore. Although it was just a little amount, however, the experience gets help me realize that it was hard to trust someone when it comes to money. I'd realize that if I do it personally and study how it works, I think it never goes off from me and never fall into scam exchanges.
