1101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We All Know, The halving time will be full of drama on: June 30, 2023, 03:53:53 AM
So, I just want to say; Don't forget, The drama could happen again and repeat until the halving time. you must be strong and patient. you will definitely win if you face it with a quiet and strong hand if happen again in the near future.

Cheers

I didn't expect market makers to fight back SEC the way they did when Blackrock announced that they have requested for Bitcoin ETF, on a normal day, the news wasn't supposed to make gains to bitcoin by $2k from any where the news was made public but I was more surprise they pushed Bitcoin price to over $30k, now I know who always win in this market, hold and disregard whatever these guys do to surpress the price of Bitcoin. Funny thing is, SBF is still there roaming the street the way he likes, the US have hidden Caroline from the public after siphoning billions of dollars, its embarrassing to when I see Security exchange commission say things about Bitcoin.
FUDs arise whether we like it or not. The SEC issue is not new to us but it was not because of Bitcoin, it is due to the increase of scam projects that need to regulate and stopped. And yes, it was not the reason to panic because as long as we are investing in Bitcoin and trusted projects, we are totally safe. But if we are into those coins that are useless and have no use case, certainly you feel uncomfortable and worried about the situation.

So I say this is normal, money has an influence and sadly, they are targeting big exchanges.
1102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what are we expecting for the rest of 2023? on: June 30, 2023, 03:31:53 AM
The trend is your friend until finished, So far, the price did not break below $24k technically after its retracement, and it is continually turning previous resistance into support, I strongly believe that the market is potentially building up for the next bull run so far it has not broken the trend. Therefore, we will experience a good end-of-the-year with prices likely ranging between $40k-$50k toward the end of 2023 IMO.
I agree that this year seems to have a growing sentiment rather than a decline. Though I won't see it will pump bullish, but it probably will surpass $35k.
Technically, this year was not totally the full set of recovery as the dump will still occur anytime. Perhaps, it was expected that when the halving comes, the demand will grow because they'll believe that after halving is the bull season. They are taking the opportunity to buy Bitcoin before the surge which also has a huge impact on its price.
1103  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the steps in understanding technical analysis? on: June 30, 2023, 02:44:06 AM

People of today want everything to be summarized in just a few paragraphs, and something as complex as trading cannot be simplified to that degree regardless of the level of skill a trader may have.
They wanted instant and so they will find a way to make their life too easy. That is why many traders become successful because of that thinking and they keep struggling hard as they don't want to spend more time learning and searching. It was too impossible to succeed if we fail to acquire all the things needed in trading - knowledge, skills, and TA. We must have to carry all of these things as it was necessary. Aiming for success was jus a dream if we don't work hard and push our limits.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we just invest in any altcoin? on: June 30, 2023, 02:17:19 AM
i think durning the altcoins market fail time we should bought good coin then need to want bull market. Basically it’s knowing everyone but yes if we are failed to buy good coin durning dumping market then we couldn’t maked profits properly. If we can't invest in altcoins then why we are here? Absolutely investment is only one way where we can make money from crypto world.
It was given to think that buying crypto during the crash is a good opportunity but it doesn't mean that we have to buy any altcoins. It should be done through research and should buy only those projects that are potentially profitable, not because it was cheap as in the end, it will be the reason for your losses and regrets. In fact, many people become wrong this assumptions that buying cheap is good but this it was not the main thing to consider upon investing crypto.
1105  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do you come up with reliable predictions for prices? on: June 29, 2023, 09:48:32 PM
Your question can be funny because this is not a place where you can learn everything you think you want learn. This is not a blog or mini sites where you are going to read about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. What you are going to get here is opinion on how to embark on your journey to know how to make predictions as a trader. The market is very sophisticated and you don't have to be too relax asking for people to help you with what you should read by yourself with bothering anybody. You can make research about what you want to know and that's going to help you.
Perhaps, it was technical so I don't expect that OP will get it just in a few days but expect to learn it for weeks or even months. Besides, learning is not a contest that we need to get into fast and hurry but it should be done properly so it will totally absorb in our mind. And I was thinking that what OP wanted to happen is he would get it too easily. Unfortunately, it was more technical and so it need more time and more research in order to get what he wanted to learn but OP is impatient, not wondering about hearing such complaints.
1106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be pulled by the hype of meme coins on: June 29, 2023, 01:30:01 PM
Investing in meme coins such as Shiba Inu, Pepe, and Lovehateinu can provide potential returns, but also carries high risks. While meme coins can increase their popularity and adoption in the market, it is important to do thorough research before investing. Not all meme coins will yield good returns, and investment decisions should not be based solely on trend or holdings without further research. In addition, it is important to apply the right investment strategy.
The best thing to do is to only invest in meme coins that are already hyped. As they are not destined for long-term investment that is why you should have to sell them once you gain some profits. This is a good spot for short-term traders/investors, we can say it was easy money which encourage people to buy them but yes, the risk is too high and so we need to be smart and keep updated on the situation otherwise, you will lose your money. But if you wanted to play it safe, Bitcoin investment should be our choice.
1107  Economy / Economics / Re: What could Elon Musk be buying next? on: June 29, 2023, 12:55:44 PM
Elon who was on the internet for having agreed to a fight with Mark Zuckerberg is one of the worlds billionaires with a networth that's more than Mark's Metaverse.

He has followed a trend of acquiring some of the world's top assets in form of largest shares and ownership of the companies.

In 2021 he purchased huge BTC, in 2022 he acquired Twitter. This is 2023 and he is yet working on huge space exploration project to Mars among others like Neuralink, the boring company, Tesla.

My question is, what big purchase could we see Elon Musk likely make this year?
Well, I don't care about their money competition but I was concerned about Elon Musk's participation in the upcoming bull season. Though we never know what his plan but I was sure that his support for Dogecoin remains. Might he is investing in Bitcoin now but I feel he has no interest in pumping it rather than expect he would do it to meme coins. He can manipulate the market if he wants but something it was not easy just like before because people had already learned of what he did in the past.
1108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 29, 2023, 11:54:35 AM
Supposing a fight were ever to take place(which I think it would never take place), I would pick Mark to have a win over Elon. Both men practice different and separate martial art styles and are supposedly good at it too. Mark is younger and he's more fit than Elon is. The fight would probably be a short one as Mark would probably win by either a submission or a KO. Lol.

I had no idea that both of them knew martial arts. Perhaps it's already a requirement for them considering their wealth and the need to protect themselves. However, if this fight were to happen, wouldn't they be risking their health or even their lives? Anything could happen, and we understand how important these individuals are in our lives today.

So what's the betting odds? Grin
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 29, 2023, 11:27:57 AM
No odds yet but I do think DYIP would still be the underdog on the second game while the first game will be even more or less.
What was the reason, mate? I believe Ginebra won their last game, so they should have gained confidence for this one. While DYIP may have had a good run, Ginebra possesses the heart of a champion. If they end up being the underdogs, I wouldn't miss the opportunity to bet on them.

Let's say that DYIP is in full force while Ginebra is not. In fact, Ginebra is missing their starters due to their commitment to our national team. Therefore, DYIP actually has a decent chance of winning, which is why bisdak40 considers them the favorites. However, it still remains to be seen. Let's wait for the betting odds to conclude.
1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do meme coins have a future? on: June 28, 2023, 09:44:54 PM
The future of meme coins is uncertain and risky. While some meme coins have gained popularity and market value, thanks to celebrity endorsements (such as Elon Musk) or viral marketing campaigns, many of them also face challenges such as lack of development, security issues, regulatory scrutiny, or market manipulation4. Some meme coins may even be outright scams that aim to defraud unsuspecting investors.
Because of these influential people's endorsement, meme coins gain popularity but this is not the reason why we should have to choose them for investment, it should be because of the use case. Unfortunately, meme coins don't have and so there is no reason why keeping them. Well, we know that many people got a profit from the hyped that these meme coins have made but if we are considering them as for long-term investment, that was absolutely a big mistake.
1111  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Return Of Terra Luna Classic on: June 28, 2023, 09:28:02 PM
I don't think it catches attention again knowing its history of a big scam that the team does, nobody will be able to take the risk and lose their money. Instead, they will just ignore them no matter what they have offered. It was enough that the team give losses to the investors in the past and I believe that most of us have learned already which gives me confidence that nobody will fall into this project again.

Perhaps, they don't have a reason to come back, I think if they want, then better to use another name for the project, not Terra Luna otherwise, they will still fail to convince people.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 28, 2023, 12:12:32 PM

Fortunately, I didn't  Grin. I just don't see any reason for them to win with the line-up they had in this tournament, they might be winless when this PBA-On-Tour ends. Even with the handicap, i seriously that they will cover the spread, Meralco might blow them away. ATM, the score 78-89 in favor of Meralco.

NLEX +4.5 @1.86 vs SMB
NLEX ML @2.5 vs SMB

^^ My bets, and there's a high chance that NLEX might win the game tonight against the struggling Beermen.

edit:

Meralco won by an 18-point margin, 108-90, and covered the spread as well.
Good luck on your NLEX bet. They are currently leading the game, which gives a relaxing feeling while watching. TNT doesn't seem to have any plans of winning a game; they might end up winless in this Tour games, but it doesn't matter to them since this is off the record for the regular season.

Based on past results, it's often a good strategy to bet on underperforming teams during the regular season
1113  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Luck is what you need in gambling but you have to get to work with trading on: June 28, 2023, 11:51:01 AM

Trading is not gambling. You require luck in gambling but you require work in trading.

What is your thought.
Having no experience and knowledge from trading, you will simply think that it is all about luck like how gambling does. But this will eventually change once have an experience and there to find out that trading never works as we like if we don't work on it. In fact, we have these trading tools as necessary which we don't use in gambling and that is because the two are different things.
Until there are people who got into trading without product trading education, luck is always on their mind and their actions.
1114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 28, 2023, 11:04:00 AM
Maybe seeing Paul and Steph starting at the same time.
There is a possibility that this approach would help Curry conserve his energy, as they would already have a facilitator, while he and Thompson focus on finding open shots. It would result in a smaller lineup, but adjustments can always be made.

I thought CP3 would lead the second unit. It would be risky for him to play as a starter, considering his tendency to get injured again with increased minutes. CP3's current value lies primarily in his leadership abilities, as he is no longer the consistent playoff performer who could put up significant numbers. That's just my perspective.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 28, 2023, 09:16:16 AM

He has no choice though but to get to Donaire. Same with Donaire, he was tearing the division and fighting young boxers and getting the belt. But in the end they have crossed path and as that Donaire was at a disadvantage because he lost his belt again. Nevertheless, he will have another chance to win it because he will be fighting for the belt, while Inoue will do it but in different weight class as he will challenge Fulton for his 2 belt.

What we witnessed in the fight was a real competition, the fight between the best versus the best. Hopefully, we will also see the same in a different division, where champions don't evade fights against opponents they think could defeat them just to maintain their undefeated record.

Donaire was a great example of a true champion, as he was well aware that Inoue could beat him again, and yet he still risked a unification match to test himself against Inoue once more.
1116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it's still wrong selling properties for Bitcoin? on: June 27, 2023, 09:37:58 PM
I personally would not be too pushy to take this risk just to invest in bitcoin. I have a few pieces of land and some gold to use for jewelery but when I want to invest I tend to keep my budget low rather than selling other assets to get my budget together. Of course I can expect returns, but I can't take risks like this.

Perhaps, it was a smart idea. In fact, it was stated many times that "Only invest the amount that we can afford to lose". This obviously tells us what we gonna do and stepping behind this will certainly create a huge risk on our part. Selling is not the best option, maybe on the part of OP because he is filthy rich, he never feels any regrets or worries in his decision but for us who think about our finances, that is different. Of course, we choose the best thing for us even though we are risk-takers but it won't exceed our limits.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: June 27, 2023, 11:32:31 AM
One disadvantage though for Inoue is that this is a new weight class for him, and he didn't take a tune up fight, but instead he directly goes to the champion in Stephen Fulton. Yes we have seen how destructive he is in the bantamweight, but as the saying goes, maybe he swallow more than he can chew here in facing a American boxer in Fulton.
Though it could be considered a disadvantage, I see it only as a slight one. Inoue is already a destructive fighter, and he may not need to add a significant amount of weight for this new weight class. However, let's see if he can truly live up to the expectations of many, considering that Inoue is currently in his prime.

I wouldn't say that Donaire is lucky to have a rematch with Inoue, Nonito has the WBC belt that time and Inoue wanted to unify. So Donaire earn that rematch, it's not that he has been given that because of his stature. On the contrary, if you think about who is lucky, it is Inoue here because he bypass everyone in the rankings to face the champion as he move up in weight.
Or perhaps he was fortunate because he knew he could defeat Donaire, making it another easy path to claim a belt.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: June 27, 2023, 10:34:17 AM

I hope kabayan that after this mini-tourney i would end profitable hehe but not expecting too much though.

If you don't expect to be profitable, it means you are not fully confident in what you are doing. Treat it as a serious journey rather than just for fun. Track your progress and outcomes—it's a good start towards becoming a professional sports bettor someday.
1119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Teacher and Classmates Labeling Bitcoin as a Ponzi Scheme or a Scam on: June 26, 2023, 09:57:28 PM
Your nephew owes nobody any explanation. If he doesn't know what to say, tell him to tell them that Bitcoin is not a scam or a ponzi scheme. A Ponzi scheme is when a person or group offers an investment that promises extremely high returns with minimal risk. What happens is that earlier investors receive money from later investors, and the system continues in this way with a constant cash flow and a constant influx of new investors to pay off the old ones. There is no other way for the system to make money other than by luring in new investors, and systems of this nature invariably collapse.
Ignoring them is the best thing to do rather than arguing with them as for sure they won't listen but insist on their wrong ideas. These kinds of people really exist and that is also because of the wrong information and scam news that drags the name Bitcoin. Some scammers use Bitcoin and tricked innocent people and that is why they blame Bitcoin because of that scenario.

Pretty hard to make arguments with these people but showing them how you make money from a legal investment will enlighten their minds. But of course, we don't have to force them but instead, let them realize that they are wrong with their assumptions and that not all they heard are true.
1120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your honest review of the Demo account? on: June 26, 2023, 09:35:31 PM
We are free and eligible to try out with the use of trading demo account if we are learning as a beginner and also can recommend such for those we already know are coming new to the trading of bitcoin in cryptocurrency, this has a widespread opportunities to make us get familiar with trading when we having a training ground of such with the use of a trading demo account, it's also a means to help us avoid mistakes while trading in some particular aspect we may not easily get used to apprehend while trading.
Yes, it was just a training tool helping us to learn to trade and we benefit from that as we can apply the learning we got from it in actual trading. But it doesn't mean that it was enough, we learn more when we are in actual trade. More challenging and can really feel how hard is trading when you are new to the market, and you can really be saying that what you have got from the demo account is just a first step of learning how to trade because true learning is when you are using your real money and feel the disappointment when you lose.
