It can cool down your miner a bit but without exhausting the heat from your room it will just be mixing both cool and heat and it will still end up overheating. You need to exhaust heat outside to make sure it won't mix or you can try to separate a room the other side is where your air conditioner is installed and the other side is for hot air where your miner exhaust is pointing on that side. This is what I'm talking about below posted by philipma1957. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5271337.msg55066376#msg55066376

You can backup it again if you know the password of that wallet. If it's a mobile version then to backup the wallet just go to the accounts tab and select or tap the wallet you want to backup after you tap it then tap the 3 dots upper-right corner and then export accounts keys and then slide it from public key to private key to the right. Now hold the or long-press the screen and it should show the private key that you want to backup with the QR code.
Be careful with someone who PM you or avoid them at any cost because there are lots of scammers out there pretending to help you but in the end scammer.

I'm not suggesting making the app less secure or functional. I'm just offering to make the mobile version more beautiful. Although I would also like to add an encryption/decryption function for message in mobile version.
I'm always using the mobile version of Electrum and never had any issues except on other features that I want from the desktop version like importing psbt transaction and like you said sign message function but it seems they don't have a plan to add such features. The design of the mobile version stays at Kivy GUI it seems they don't have yet a developer that knows more about designing Android apps that can't affect security functions. If you have knowledge about designing an Android app like the above said you can join in Electrum Github page and develop a design of your own why not play the Kivy GUI design here below? - https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/tree/0df05dd914c823acae1828cad3b20bdeb13150e9/electrum/gui/kivy

It depends on your current condition where you live and if you have a very cheap or free electricity source. Financial freedom can be achieved if you know how to keep holding them and only sell them at the right time.
Using the mine coins for trading is very risky unless you have knowledge and skills in trading and if you also have free power you don't need to worry about the monthly electricity bill and risk of loss in trading but mining units have a lifespan we do not know how long your mining units can mine. So you must manage them well if you want to achieve financial freedom(Always HODL is the best).

Hello, I have the same problem. Mine keep staying in idle not go online. It look like i have temp sensor issue. I took it apart, clean everything but still not work. My STA LED is red, PSU blinking green. In the backstage: Overview: Idle (green), Network:idle (in grey), configuration: Idle (green). Someone iin another forum told me that i have temp sensor problem, i don't know where is the temp sensor located Can anyone please help? There are many reasons why you got these logs it could be a PSU or Fan or it is related to a program issue. Would you mind to test out the Canaan new upgrading tool you can download it from here https://canaan.io/service/447Download the Avalon Miner Upgrading Tool then try to upgrade your unit if not try manually flash your unit with the latest firmware. You can download the firmware here https://download.canaan-creative.com/Then if upgrading does not work try the aging method you can download the tool on the same link above with the name FMS tool the v2.3.3 version and then run it and look for the aging near diagnose button. To help refresh your unit and test it again. If still doesn't work then disassemble the unit try to clean them and replug everything make sure there is no short circuit and test it again and like the above said check the fan if it's running fine.

SMS is not a good option for sending Bitcoin there is a thread recently that talks about SMS 2FA which I think is a bit related and in most of the responses there is SMS hijacking where SMS provider and selected staff can able to check or monitor your text messages or someone who physically have your sim card can able to make a sim clone which is not safe because both of you can able to receive a message or if it's bitcoin then both of you receive the same then the clone one can able to make a transaction send to the hacker's wallet.
It is likely a grin coin but the only difference is that you can't send it through SMS instead you can send a grin coin through a file or HTTP listener without internet.

s19's are costly. over 4k
Offordscott offers $3.8k s19j pro not brand new but used units he posted it recently on his telegram here https://t.me/asicEasternHemisphereThat's the only option if you want to buy Antminer units a bit cheap compared to buying directly in Bitmain. And it seems most of the Canaan units are another option if you want cheap and brand new units.

There are many right now who produce ASIC chips but for Antminer I think they develop their own ASIC chips same goes for Canaan or Avalon units. However, there are produced ASIC chips outside of these manufacturers most of the source is from China.
I don't think you can buy only ASIC chips directly from ASIC miner manufacturers before they do sell them but right now they don't sell them you can only buy them on 3rd parties like on zeusbtc.com.

I don't think if this is the hashboard issue you need to check and verify first if this is actually the hashboard issue. Look at this logs main.c:9183: get PIC voltage=6 on chain[5], value=940 main.c:9183: get PIC voltage=142 on chain[6], value=860 main.c:9183: get PIC voltage=125 on chain[7], value=870 I noticed abnormal power on Chain[5] it might be a PSU issue, not the hashboard since you said earlier that there had been a power failure recently mostly affected are PSU. What I would like you to do is try to swap PSU cables and ribbon cables of that hashboard then test them one by one to make sure if one hashboard is broken. If you don't know how to test them one by one check this link below. - https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/226142788-Test-Hash-Board-one-by-one

Use the same model that you use before or you can replace it with this model: QFR1212GHE Delta this one is the compatible one.
Or you can try to check the wires it has 4 wires Black, Red, Yellow and Blue.
Legends:
black = ground red = + 12V yellow = PWN or Signal Speed blue = PWM
Check the Blue wire since you said there is no return signal in PWM if this one doesn't have a connection the fan will always run at full speed so focus on that part the wire may not be connected or resoldered properly try to resolder or replace the blue wire and make sure it is connected in the right position to the control board when replugging.

Are you sure that it asks for an account ID? It seems that restoring the 12 words seed backup does not need ID. Look at this guide below - https://support.bitcoin.com/en/articles/3542814-restore-my-walletI'm not sure what you are doing when restoring your wallet from your PC to the app but what you only need is the backup seed phrase to restore your wallet. If it did ask for KYC name and ID then I suggest you bring your backup to another wallet and try to import your 12 words seed like Electrum wallet and then let Electrum wallet find the right derivation path where your wallet with balance is located.

the problem is the hashboard change the power supply and does the same if i put a new hashboard will it work?
I'm confused a bit what do you mean by the hashboard change the power supply? Did you mean that you already replace the PSU but the issue is still the same? I suggest check carefully the unit there might be grounded that leads hashboard not showing the right ASIC. Would you mind to try disassemble the unit and run them one by one then check for any changes in the logs or if one of the hashboard is running fine.

The whitepaper is still needed because all information you need is there before you invest in the project. Investors are always reading the whitepaper first to decide if the project is a scam or if it has a future to grow. All you need as an investor is already in the whitepaper. Just be careful on another whitepaper that looks legit and has the potential to grow but the whole thing is fake if it is plagiarized just like the other said above.

Are you talking about newly listed coins or token? I have experienced before I usually investing in newly listed coins/token because it increase instantly and it die later. So I exchange them after gaining profit I don't hold them for long because I can buy later for a cheaper price. Anyway, your problem is that you can't able to withdraw or transfer the token out from Zebpay? Also the rate seems not fair? I search a bit it seems its a scam exchange look at this old thread below. - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4489462.0

I noticed that thing on different websites it seems Cloudflare change its design because I think the old one is a bit slow compared to this new design. There is a topic about this on their Cloudflare forum here " The New Managed Challenge Page"

Is that the test jig from Bitmain? There might be a connection problem which is why it is stuck at sending PIC heartbeat or the USB test data cable is defective.
Try to check the terminals of the test fixture and clean them and then replug them all. Test again let's see for any changes. If nothing changes maybe there is an issue on the hashboard related to the PIC program that needs to be reflashed.
|
|
|
I use the test fixture to check the S17+, it shows error asic, and there is more than one. Do all of the chips shown need to be replaced? Or is it just one chip failure that affects other chips?
I suggest you check them one by one chips that you see some errors if you don't know how to locate and test them there is a guide on ZeusBTC that will help troubleshoot and repair the whole s17+ hashboard. You can follow the guide from this link " Antminer s17 plus Hashboard Repair Guide" Or download the repair guide here https://www.zeusbtc.com/articles/information/182-antminer-s17-manual-download

Failed..
I flashed the image to SD card, inserted it/moved JP4 for flash to NAND, i did not get two flashing LEDs, although it was showing Brainsos. when logged in.
I presumed it had flashed anyway so removed SD and jumper back to boot from NAND and it booted back to the old 2019 FW!!
What a pain, plus it only had 2 pools for entry and would not let me add a third after continually rebooting BMminer.
Totally unreliable imo.
It shouldn't be booted on the web if you did download the correct file image. I guess that you downloaded a web version where you can access BraiinsOS while the JP4 is moved/jumped to another side. You should use the right image if you want to flash it into Nand. Would you mind to try the firmware from this link https://feeds.braiins-os.org/20.09.1/ the one with the name s9 SD?
