2621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado Cash mixing service is now blacklisted in US on: August 09, 2022, 01:08:22 PM
Don't trust a single review website other than the bitcointalk link, most are set up by scammers and are actually linking to fake addresses, we've had enough examples to date of such things.
Of course, i know that. But the thing is newbies doesn't know about that that's why they end up using google. Unfortunately, bitcointalk topics/links doesnt show in the google first all the times. Even the website on google's first result using the "chipmixer review" keyword has fake chipmixer link.
2622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado Cash mixing service is now blacklisted in US on: August 09, 2022, 12:13:15 PM
Obviously google will follow any rules from government.
Google can only remove the website appearing on google results, but you can't deny that lots of website reviews made a chipmixer reviews already which will show on google including their ANN thread.

2625  Economy / Gambling / Re: DUELBITS ASK FOR KYC WHEN YOU WANT TO WITHDRAW YOUR EARNED PROFITS on: August 08, 2022, 11:39:16 PM
I've never used duelbits, but judging from your trust rating which was passed by one of the most reputable campaign managers on the forum, it is evident what your plan is.
Why people always need to be judged the current situation from their previous doing? Why don't just inspect what had happened and say things after.

To OP, seems like you were born just yesterday who doesn't know how casino works while you sounds like have tried almost all casinos.
Of course, KYC is always a thing in every casino particularly the big ones. Make a habit of reading terms/aml too before registering.
Stop being an idiot (2).
2626  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Coinbase And BlackRock Deal Send Bitcoin To $773,000? on: August 08, 2022, 09:40:52 PM
$773,000? or $73,000?  Huh
The former as what you see on the title thread.

It may have an effect, but not so much that it sends the price back up suddenly. BTC price will definitely get back up, but it will take and require a series of positive events like this for this to become a reality and not just one news. As btc hodlers, we continue to remain optimistic about the price of btc and it is in our expectations that the price gets back up shortly.
The article mentioned that it takes 5 years to reach that high But i doubt it would happen for such figure, but its possible though. But not for the reason when of these platforms starts to collaborate or so.
2627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado Cash mixing service is now blacklisted in US on: August 08, 2022, 09:18:45 PM
What is interesting about this is that the service is actually a piece of code, which can be run locally or in another server.
This the good thing of a decentralized platform, (censorship-resistant) authority can only suspends its website domain or hosting but it can still be used freely.
But since it's dependent to github repo, which can be sanctioned too like they did to Iran and other countries suspending github accounts or blocked the access of github with US request which they will do it lately, after realizing it's useless suspending only the website and not its whole process.
I hope there's also a decentralized code repositories (better if there is already) for decentralized platform's to preserve its codes.
2628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Upload Audio in Bitcointalk on: August 08, 2022, 08:57:04 PM
Plus what have written above. I don't think any usefulness of using audio, instead of just typing or simply posting an image. If it's a podcast, i will use those podcast platforms instead a random unknown websites.

Plus, the title of thread should change since there's no audio upload, or bbcode tags for audio, unlike image(image tag) and video(flash tag, although its disabled now).
2629  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there any cool slogan about miners on: August 08, 2022, 04:41:20 AM
If you have any good slogan, welcome to share with us, if your slogan is chosen, we can offer you a special coupon or a thanks gift Cool
Why don't you open a thread the same as this[1] on the Services board. But of course, you decide what will be the prizes. I also recommend to use an escrow to secure the fund or prize for the chosen winner.

2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for best casino on: August 07, 2022, 08:50:45 PM
I wonder how you can find 1xbet? Did you do some research and finally found 1xbet to play gambling?
They're spent huge amount money on their advertisement, honestly the first online gambling ads I've seen is 1xbet and 1xbit, it can be found on popular youtuber promote this site. While the other casinos only advertise on sports related, if you're not follow those sports you wouldn't know the casino. .
Oh yes, due to their bad reputation, they are trying to bury those negative reviews from different articles, videos, forum threads by paying other website owners to make fake reviews with high rating, do lots of advertisements and exposure just to gain more new newbie accounts. Eventually these newbie accounts will post here after realizing their mistakes done.

1xbit even put an advertisement on a Bitcoin wallet.
To be more specific, it's on mycelium wallet.
2631  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 4.3.0 Relased on: August 07, 2022, 07:47:24 PM
It looks bulky in the pictures since it's scaled with your monitor and it's hard to judge the size of a picture of an object without a reference.
Yeah, you're right. I've watch some video reviews, Although trezor and ledger is much smaller, yet not as big as other existing HW out there like the ellipal and keepkey. It is I guess the cheapest ones in the market.

but it's nice to see Electrum devs are constantly improving their wallet.
One of the open source bitcoin wallets that has active development which make them the best wallet aside from core (a heavy duty wallet).
2632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling winnings tax in the USA on: August 07, 2022, 07:11:13 PM
Well, the breakdown of the tax is explained, the percentage might differ from states and countries, and it's the reality. But at the end, that's still a large sum of win from a simple number guess you have and paying a mere dollars for its ticket.

But there are some lottery out there that is tax free, well, you will be rich when you hit that. But when you will file ITR quarterly or annually then you will be still paying tax too and that is included in the breakdown in Forbes which is quite normal for a taxpayer.
2633  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Price at time of transaction? on: August 07, 2022, 02:40:07 PM
I think most of the block explorer have this kind of feature. Either way, aside from blokchain.com as above mentioned blockchair.com has this feature too. In the "Amount transacted" there is question marked with pop up description saying "USD value at the time of transaction".

Edit: blockchair was mentioned too seconds after i posted lol.
2634  Economy / Gambling / Re: Extrarakeback.me get extra Rakeback up to 0.42% on Casinos : Stake, Bitsler ... on: August 07, 2022, 01:40:12 AM
Will be happy to answer  real users
Please don't mind the get paid to post and spammers above.
Hopefully they stopped the spam And  abuse.

What is your criteria to call someone as real user?
/...
Users who will not questioned his service and reputation. Users who will tell/reply "I will register through you today. Have a good day sir".
That's what he is waiting for an answer/from real users on his perspective.
You could tell since the very first reply (which i made)
2635  Economy / Gambling / Re: Extrarakeback.me get extra Rakeback up to 0.42% on Casinos : Stake, Bitsler ... on: August 06, 2022, 05:37:51 AM
So you mean I should pay people upfront? It doesn't make sense.  Huh
You may, after the user registered and wager. You may also get your funds escrowed to some reputed here just to let people know that you're serious of paying people when they registered > wager through your link

The only logical answer to your question is : they free to not join .
Well, these are one of the cons of claiming to pay someone by doing by almost nothing or free.
Well, it's not actually free since this is an affiliate based those who registered and wagered, simply helped you.

Please don't spam my posts with repeat questions or nonsense.
There's no repeated questions asked. I'm here to clear something that people may ask the same questions.

I'm not discouraging you for doing your service or so you are all very welcome here. It just that you are new here and have zero reputation at all. Even new licensed casinos are being asked here how much more someone unknown and not regulated by any authorities.
2636  Economy / Gambling / Re: Extrarakeback.me get extra Rakeback up to 0.42% on Casinos : Stake, Bitsler ... on: August 06, 2022, 05:06:43 AM
What insurance you talk about ? It's a win win situation and we don't ask anyone for money it's a free service and anyone who wants extra Rakeback welcome.
The assurance of the users to be paid by you. People here have trust issues to new services offering money. I'm talking about your reputation here in general since you(your account) and your service is only new.
2637  Economy / Gambling / Re: Extrarakeback.me get extra Rakeback up to 0.42% on Casinos : Stake, Bitsler ... on: August 06, 2022, 04:48:39 AM
We then pay you back the majority of this commission which it will be transferred to your Litecoin address (we use Litecoin for lower transfer fees ) every week .
Keep in mind that your playing conditions (including house edge) remain exactly the same as if you had opened the account directly with the casino, so in effect, you're reducing the house edge and improving profitability.
Welcome aboard.

So this sounds like cashback through a third party.
But what is exactly thr percentage of the commission of this majority you're saying. Also, what's the assurance of these users who registered through your link will get paid by you. I know some of the casino pays affiliates monthly, quarterly or etc.
2638  Bitcoin / Electrum / Electrum 4.3.0 Relased on: August 05, 2022, 10:51:02 PM
New electrum version is released. This release is focused on improvement of Lightning UI and finally the support of the Blockstream Jade hardware wallet[1].

# Release 4.3.0 - (August 5, 2022)

 * This version introduces a set of UI modifications that simplify the
use of Lightning. The idea is to abstract payments from the payment
layer, and to suggest solutions when a lightning payment is hindered
   by liquidity issues.
    - Invoice unification: on-chain and lightning invoices have been
merged into a unique type of invoice, and the GUI has a single
'create request' button. Unified invoices contain both a
lightning invoice and an onchain fallback address.
    - The receive tab of the GUI can display, for each payment
request, a lightning invoice, a BIP21 URI, or an onchain
address. If the request is paid off-chain, the associated
on-chain address will be recycled in subsequent requests.
    - The receive tab displays whether a payment can be received using
Lightning, given the current channel liquidity. If a payment
cannot be received, but may be received after a channel
rebalance or a submarine swap, the GUI will propose such an
      operation.
    - Similarly, if channels do not have enough liquidity to pay a
lightning invoice, the GUI will suggest available alternatives:
rebalance existing channels, open a new channel, perform a
submarine swap, or pay to the provided onchain fallback address.
    - A single balance is shown in the GUI. A pie chart reflects how
that balance is distributed (on-chain, lightning, unconfirmed,
      frozen, etc).
    - The semantics of the wallet balance has been modified: only
incoming transactions are considered in the 'unconfirmed' part
of the balance. Indeed, if an outgoing transaction does not get
mined, that is not going to decrease the wallet balance. Thus,
change outputs of outgoing transactions are not subtracted from
the confirmed balance. (Before this change, the arithmetic
values of both incoming and outgoing transactions were added to
the unconfirmed balance, and could potentially cancel
      each other.)

 * In addition, the following new features are worth noting:
    - support for the Blockstream Jade hardware wallet (#7633)
    - support for LNURL-pay (LUD-06) (#7839)
    - updated trampoline feature bit in invoices (#7801)
    - the claim transactions of reverse swaps are not broadcast until
the parent transaction is confirmed. This can be overridden by
      manually broadcasting the local transaction.
    - the fee of submarine swap transactions can be bumped (#7724)
    - better error handling for trampoline payments, which should
      improve payment success rate (#7844)
    - channel backups are removed automatically when the corresponding
      channel is redeemed (#7513)
Although i just heard this new hardware wallet, it looks like neat but like a bulk remote to me. Lol
To those who keep collecting hardware wallets, making reviews, using the liquid network, i guess its must to try.

2639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man Collapses after Allegedly Losing a $400 Loan at a Betting Shop on: August 05, 2022, 06:18:56 PM
Gambling is okay, only when betting from your own money only that is considered portion for your hobby/entertainment purposes. Betting using the lent money is a no-no.
This is the very reason why most poor to average people become poorer due this kind of mindset.
2640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to BTC if China attack on Taiwan? on: August 04, 2022, 04:47:51 PM
As Taiwan is a China Territory.
Who told you that? Taiwan is not territory of anyone's country.

As Russia attack on Ukraine it effects the BTC mostly. My question is that how many others coin will affected if above said thing goes straight.
How the hell bitcoin relates to the attack? Nothing, stop this nonsense question that related everything to bitcoin.

If you're asking what's the aftermath if another war broke, then you will see US sanctioning China, and then China will not care because they are more self-reliant country than US or any other country. US and its allies might suffer the most sanctions after sanctions. As stocks and global market suffer it will be another domino effect no exception even bitcoin.
