1641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if a change in people's views? on: March 07, 2023, 11:34:14 PM
what are your thoughts on what if the majority of the population all of a sudden sold all their fiat and put it into a crypto? like BTC, do u think the system or part of the traditional finance system see some type of impact/disruption?
That's a dream that can only done in a dream. Why would you thought something like that when bitcoin cannot replace fiat in any aspect of monetary system and matter of fact. Yeah, we are so called "bitcoiner" here, but don't be so delusional. Such thing wont come true.
1642  Other / Meta / Re: View Counter of each Reply on: March 07, 2023, 09:04:51 AM
You can do that with ninjastic.space

Just input the author name and the topic I'd and it will show you how many post that user has made in that topic
You misunderstood OP, he wants to see how many views each post had and not how many posts someone made in specific topic.
The title "view counter of each reply" probably the only thing he/she read and misunderstood the OP.

There's no way to detect if someone read the reply by just scrolling, i dont know if some js library built for that purpose especially for a forum/web page structure like this. Unlike other social media sites such twitter and facebook.
Although you can assume only, a user read the reply when its reply is replied by someone.
1643  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DuckDice io Scam my deposit on: March 06, 2023, 11:40:13 PM
Can you tell what are the factors that your provider tell when the user is labeled a xxx or what?
Like IP address, email address, device, browser (height, width, etc.) etc.
By what chance they consider it since the user (OP) just bet once(sportsbook) when in fact people can use VPN and virtual machine that could modify everything from device to IP, except the email address.
1644  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin & Apple Pay on: March 06, 2023, 10:27:10 PM
There's no way to do that, and it won't happen anytime soon.

Since you mentioned these tech giants, If you are in US, you can use Cash App. Although i don't know if you can pay and send bitcoin now using Paypal in US but they announced working on it.
1645  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Coinwix.com Fake Exchange on: March 05, 2023, 11:51:06 PM
but I tend to agree that some competitors may leave negative reviews but those well-known service platforms compete very well.
Yeah, reasonable if the services are reputable but in this case not.

Here is a funny fact, the exchange platform mentioned above has an article on Tips for avoiding scams.
That's their new tactics, scammers do things like this, like what can be seen in phishing scam, either via email or sms saying that someone got accessed their account, ot have suspicious activity so they need to change their password accessing to fake website to get their password.

Although there's no proof that mentioned site is scam but i won't trust them even a single cent.
1646  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay scammed me out of 1300 USDT on: March 05, 2023, 11:28:28 PM
One thing that gets me angry with most of the casino's or gambling site is that whenever they noticed a suspicious activity within your account it immediately leads to the closure of user accounts without any proper and further explanations for the user to understand their faults
That's what i'm getting furious about whenever i see a complaints against to any casino. The difference about this is coinplay let its user to withdraw the deposit amount compared to other casino who confiscate everything.
1647  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Coinwix.com Fake Exchange on: March 05, 2023, 10:06:48 PM
I don't know whether or not that means much and if we can trust BestExchangers and its evaluation.
Regardless the reputation of this BestExchanger the fact it was labeled as scam by them and other users in trustpilot reviews makes it more clearer that its really a scam.
Because why wont they waste their time to review for a little to zero exchange. And it wont be the case as competitor negative review coz it doesn't have any reputation yet. That's why it makes more sense.
1648  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Thought one of my online wallets was hacked and robbed on: March 05, 2023, 09:41:44 PM
If you mind, what version of electrum did you installed on your device? This is because there are compromised version of electrum that were used for phishing. Anyway, seems the timeline doesn't match, so its unlikely that it is the case, but not impossible to happen. On the other hand, it is probably you used a compromised device that a hacker did get access your funds OR you accidentally save the seed then someone got an access to it and lastly, it's an inside job which is little to zero chance that might happen.
1649  Economy / Gambling / Re: who to trust in gambling sites? on: March 05, 2023, 04:25:37 PM
Usually the casinos that come to the top of the ranking normally those site won't be scam. Because their business is successful.
Well, even the most reputed casinos can have unfair judgement. Its users complains and open some scam accusation but yeah that won't affect the casino overall rating unless it is mass complain with large amount.

Well, here is my list except excluding Stake as known as most reputed casinocsite. Roobet, Rollbit, Sportsbet.io, FortuneJack.
1650  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: March, 20, 2023 is Bisq Market Day! on: March 05, 2023, 07:07:23 AM
Cons
Application is somewhat basic
How a basic application become cons? It should be the very pros of every exchange instead of being too technical or whatever.
But yeah, decentralization is not for everyone, even the word privacy is slowly forgotten by others. They will choose KYC required site in exchange of ease of use and good looking site than privately secured site.
1651  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Coinwix.com Fake Exchange on: March 04, 2023, 11:19:44 PM
The exchange is pretty new based on their social media activities they started posting just this january 2023 regardless their domain registration.
Now about the scam accusation better to post proof of how it happens posting such almost zero to none content wont help. Don't rely on trustpilot reviews either unless it is "verified" review.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 04, 2023, 10:57:47 PM
If i have all the resources i prefer making business out of it. Casinos are designed to be profitable as house always wins. Depends on casino's house edge percentage but it is the thing just choose better game providers, system security and many more to consider that is why you need a huge resources on that. I dont know the range of money you need it probably is millions should be considered. But of course you can do it with share holders, invertors, etc. not just only you, at least 3-5 owners. Well, this might sound easy but is not.
1653  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know any telegram group where a lot of gamblers meet? on: March 04, 2023, 10:41:05 PM
but as far as I clicking some links most of it are abandoned in moderation and you can see lot of affiliate links, most are in local especially Russian and others are dead links. Maybe there is but likely in private and who knows one in here is a member.
Pretty normal scenario in any telegram discussion group especially for a huge one. Could be better if there are bot filtered mods that will delete any post that detects xxx will be good to implement on such community group.

And i don't know, i dont really appreciate how the chat looks in any telegram groups that's why i usually mute it after i joined and leave later on.
1654  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Shirt available in SM North EDSA on: March 04, 2023, 10:28:52 PM
Never ako nakapag suot ng crypto/bitcoin-related shirts for many at kasama na security reasons.
1655  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bisq Market Day - March 20th 2023 on: March 04, 2023, 03:44:17 PM
Never tried the platform because of some reasons but i always recommend it to anyone who are trying to make a decentralized way if trading p2p.

After the closure of LBC, I expect that some will try to look for alternatives, especially those that do not require verification of identity
If the owner/management of bisq can market/promote the platform in different social media platforms, adnetwork, PR, and other community posts like this, number of traders could increase significantly due to the shutdown of similar services.
1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 04, 2023, 01:23:34 AM
Can we just talk about that if we see cheating being happened on this fight?

It's more making sense to discuss the technical side of this fight like analysis from both and recent news involving the fight.

Going back to topic, still no official date being announced but I'm sure we will get that information later on.
Apologize getting off topic, this is just to reply and debunk the quoted boxing myth.

Back to topic, i expect this fight will be in US not in Japan, as the current title holder Stephen needs more recognition than that, but still respect to their team for accepting such offer to fight in the challenger's hometown.
1657  Economy / Economics / Re: Benefit from Higher Education? on: March 03, 2023, 11:51:13 PM
Yes, education always taught the foundation of everything you want to learn in specific course/program but don't expect and assumed it will make you rich because you learn those things.
That's how experience will come and will always taught you different things, building your connections to those people who have same interest will help too.
Example, communication skills is a huge help too which is needed for anyone who want to entrepreneurship, this is not really taught in schools but will taught you hints and basic knowledge. But experience will taught you different on actual life. That's why don't underestimate schools for teaching things.
1658  Economy / Gambling / Re: shame on the stake on: March 03, 2023, 11:27:50 PM
Now thinking the what if.. the result turns to make @OP a winner which suppose to be cancelled and due to lag the cancellation did not trigger and @OP won the bet, would he be creating this thread?  I bet not.
Of course, not, because there's no issue. What's the purpose of  posting if there's issue (which is most users do) unless he only want to brag. In anyway, this should be serve as a lesson, as the supposed lag is the actual delayed time or normal delayed time for the bet to be recorded to avoid the game getting rigged and foe different reasons.
1659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 03, 2023, 11:15:04 PM
also, as japanese people are known to be honest people, i don't think they will go to that route of cheating. so am pretty confident about this fight. fulton should not worry about the cheating aspect.
I will argue with this, there are lots of recorded fights against japanese boxer on their hometown that was cheated either by japanese referee intervention stoping the fight even though the other fighter can still fight. Or by the judges score. That's why KO is always needed for someone to win versus a japanese fighter fighting in Japan. Just example the previous fight of casimero, although later on it was fixed.
1660  Other / Meta / Re: Reducing website load when you want to login to your Bitcointalk account. on: March 03, 2023, 10:39:05 PM
Larger database record doesn't always mean to slower query or fetching records. Many aspects that it can affect like the kind of select query, index usage, its engines, etc.
Using a strong server/resources and proper query, it will not matter even a bit.
