Good to see Last Chance Qualifier teams are doing good in TI. Team Secret is sitting at 3rd and Team Liquid is at 5 but they have a good chance to snatch the last seat for Upper Bracket.
Yeah, last day later for the group stages and Team Secret and Team Liquid are doing it. Well, the slot for these two are worth it. While for those teams like Boom Esports and Talon, well, 2 SEA teams out of 3 are endangered to be gone for the next stage, the playoffs.

There's still one remaining day and these endangered teams can still get out of it if they manage to win, possible for Talon. It still has 2 matches remaining.

While for Boom Esports, they only have 1 match left and it is against EG. We'll see if EG is going to give those two matches.

I'm with the crowd shouting and cheering for PSG.LGD taking the aegis for this year. But it's interesting to see new faces on this year's TI.

Whoever takes the aegis for this year, they'll gain much respect from everyone not just from the fans but also from the fans that they'll beat.

Prize pool is lower than last year and the others and that's because of the pandemic and everyone has grown up thinking that it's a waste of money to spend on games.  Cheesy
I dont believe that it was because of the pandemic. You could really see the influx of funds or the one who had bought bp when it opened and then suddenly slows down.
Why? because the treasures and other perks is never been worth or something boring compared into previous TI's where BP purchase is worth basing up on the items
and treasures that you could get which is something that you couldnt see today. There's a part 2 of it though and lets see if they would be applying something interesting
for the prize pool to shoot up even more.Main event is fast approaching and everyone is really excited for that.
Yes!

That's another reason because we all want the best and Valve isn't listening to us that they should make the treasures and bundles better. But they're not giving it.

They're quite selfish with what their players want. We want to support but at the same time, we want all the best for us to make us see that what we bought is worth it.

Well, last year's prize pool is the highest and this year's pool won't be near to that.

What favorites do you have guys ? Especially after what we saw in Last chance qualifiers yesterday. I would still chose EG because I've always been a fan of them and on 2nd place , it must be Secret as no wonder why they have the nickname Secretober....because they don't lose in October.

2625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 10, 2022, 08:40:00 PM
^But, why this is very rare now, what I mean is why most casinos did not run a bug bounty campaign.
I know it will add their cost but I think this is a proper way to know publicly the bug and their developer can quickly resolve it.
I think the best way in a new gambling casino is while having a signature campaign they also conduct a bug bounty campaign so that it will give boost to their improvement and progress.
One thing is for sure, we don't know what each of the casinos reason why they don't do that anymore. Possible that they already have their own providers for that task and that's why it's no longer needed.

If we don't see it most often then it only means that it's not needed anymore because they've got something that's doing it for them. As it is becoming rare, someone may want to ask that directly from them.
or maybe they have found a way to find Bug , or something offering directly so there is not need for Bounty inside the forum.
They for sure have their own way determining bugs existing on their platforms. They have a huge capital and they won't just allow some bugs to suck out that money they have from abusive players.

It is why we rarely see them anymore because it's likely that they have their own developers finding bugs and testing it before they deploy it to their casino with those features that they have.

For the bug bounty hunters, there are many websites out there that you can find and it's only going to cost you a few minutes of searching them and it's not just for casinos.

Team Secret will never qualify on this year TI because there pos1 crystallis don’t  upgrade to daedalus.  Cheesy

I still believe on Team Secret that they can best the odds here. Chinese team is a choker on crucial tournament same with T1. Virtuos Pro is there greatest enemy on this tournament because VP is very hungry to get the TI spot after missing the spotlight for a long time. They have a good roster this year so my money will goes them since they are consistent to there matches compared to other teams on other region.
Team Secret can manage to be at the top of their bracket but Crystallis doesn't really look good as their pos 1. I guess it's better if they've made Reso as their pos 1 because that guy has proven himself that he's one of the best pos 1s ever.

On Team Secret's bracket, the hardest team that they'll ever face could be VG. But wait, I've seen on the roster that Yang is now their pos 5? That's nuts, I admire that guy as one of the best pos 3 player.

Polaris performed very well on SEA Regional Qualifiers, and they have a very solid lineup. I think they are a serious contender in Last Chance. I know SEA is not as competitive as China or WEU region, but still, they are showing some promise. They will give one hell of a fight on the group stage for sure.
It's a solid team but underrated one. I'm not judging them but they're not just my pick although they really can shock most of the teams there.

2630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: September 30, 2022, 09:02:13 PM
Traditionally gambling in most countries is indeed prohibited but for online gambling who knows,
It's said that anything related to gambling is banned and that's why some chose to abide the law and stop gambling. I guess we now have a solution for those that have severe gambling addiction.

The government's rule of gambling is what you need for but it's also not a good rule for those that likes to gamble casually and to those that are making a living from it.

is it possible that state officials will check every cellphone of its citizens? of course not.
It's not that I ignore state laws, but it's our right to seek pleasure
It's possible through martial law because it gives power to the authority to implement that.

Whilst for the bracketing for the LCQ, it's already there. Any thoughts about the bracketing and the grouping?
Group A has a lot of question marks for me but Group B on the other hand seems like a toss-up aside from WildCard Gaming as I don't have high expectations from the NA region.
Yeah, looks like Group B is we're already anticipating what will be the teams to be ahead on the group stages. But, let's see if there will be some surprises that comes along with the other teams although, some surprise blow are likely coming from SA teams.

Group A is like a war for real to me. It's going to be the harder bracket than B.

Well, 4 teams will be out already after the group stages.

Dota 2 is boring lately but it's going to be an explosion when the last chance qualifier starts next week.

Nothing that much to see but BTS pro series on American region and South East Asian region.

Whilst for the bracketing for the LCQ, it's already there. Any thoughts about the bracketing and the grouping?
2633  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: September 27, 2022, 09:15:43 PM
Don't forget about the connectivity or the main thing that's needed which is internet connection. If you're aware of the other preparations of what working remotely is.

Then, you should have a backup internet at all times. This is applicable for those remote workers that have ISP that sometimes have an intermittent connection and has to make some ways to connect again.

That's why having a backup ISP is what you need unless you're connected to starlink and wherever you go, you're connected and got no problems.
2634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chinese version of Metaverse will be great for meta casinos. on: September 26, 2022, 10:27:08 AM
Honestly, it has changed negatively for the majority.

After all of those prices of the NFTs to drop a lot and the others have been using NFTs as a gateway for their scamming activities, it has made really a big negative impact to the community.

Not saying that all of them are scams but in the near future, I guess we'll see a better environment than of these casinos.

I have high expectations for NFTs before not until I've seen projects that I have invested in failed and turned into a rug pull. Many scammers have used NFTs to fool their investors and to gain money. I think NFTs still need more developments and improvements for projects to last longer in the future. We'll see it when the market goes back to normal and when NFTs rise again.
Well, I think that many have that expectation for NFTs before during the bull run. Many think that it's a disruptive new trend and market that's here to stay together even if the bear market comes.

But, it turned out that it's not.

Majority if not most of them, are already have lost their value and track. Those that are enthusiastic about it before have already changed what they think about it.

2636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: September 22, 2022, 10:34:25 AM
OP.

If you're still feeling that way then look at the market, it's so stagnant and likely to drop more within the next few days. While interest rates in the US are increasing.

It's very likely that the price of bitcoin will react on that negatively and that's why we're seeing the price of it crashing the entire crypto market as other altcoins are also falling.
2637  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this Gambling Bot real or fake? on: September 21, 2022, 11:51:40 PM
Although i don't support the work of bots cause i believe it's something they programmed will be display and at the other side i don't think its fake also, it's a safer and wisest way to do some work smartly.
Well this generation is awesome, where there's original and the fake will be there also but you can check that out through some software but you run anything
The fake ones are likely containing malware and viruses.

While the legitimate ones, don't have that one and that's why there's a lot of feedback from it that you can also trust. But why don't support bots? There's nothing wrong with them if it's made specifically just for one thing like in gambling.

There's nothing wrong with that but also, there's nothing wrong with your thought of not supporting them.
If you consider gambling as part of your entertainment then using gambling bots will never get that entertainment out of here. On the other hand, a gambler must know the disadvantages of using bots. Because gambling bots are restricted on many sites. Besides, most of the gamblers who gamble regularly are reluctant to use bots.
Right.

Those that are getting bots and have it automated whether it's for dice or any other game then they're for sure for one thing, it's all about the money.

Well, this ain't new and that's why these have been made and it's for gamblers to use to automate things on their own and they won't have to sweat all day long.
2638  Economy / Economics / Re: Education on: September 20, 2022, 10:56:39 AM
Education is important and so are the skills.
Some of the rich people are not well educated by are skilled.
Let's say a few of them really are not well educated. But those that are the type of rich people that have just inherited their riches and didn't worked hard for it.

But, majority of the rich people that have been through thick and thin and worked hard for it, it's attached to their skills for being well educated and mannered as they've dealt with so many types of people.

Education or the degree can help you find a job but skills can help you excel your work
I agree.

It's your skills that will make you excel in your career but don't forget about the attitude plays also an important thing.

2640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN WAS YOUR WORST MOMENT AND CHALLENGE WITH BITCOIN ? on: September 19, 2022, 05:45:34 AM
My worst memory was when half of my existence disappeared in one day. If you remember there was a sudden drop last year, bitcoin suddenly dropped 30 percent. It fell again the next day so I lost most of my money.
It's a paper loss if you haven't sold on that day.

But if you sold then that's for sure a big loss for you and you've just chosen to stop loss but it's not appropriate anymore because it's like all that you've got disappeared on that day.

I wouldn't choose that if I'm on your situation.

What were you holding on that day then?

The best bull run happened last year and we're probably going to have years again before we see it.
