How is it annoying? And how it connects to forum April fools day?
As if you just saw that tilde key/icon here or on your keyboard
Edit: I see the look a like letter U, although it's just a normal capital U in mobile browser... I dont think theymos will disable the using of such unicode/symbol(or whatever you call it) on title thread on its to do list but its possible.

Thanks to all for showing the light!
I guess it's called a "bot", anyway I posted a comment to a video on a youtube channel relating to finances. There was a reply saying "I'm glad you liked my video, go to my whatsapp #" . So I fell for it thinking it really was the guy from the channel wanting to talk to me, the replyer even had the guy's picture as avatar. Told me gave this info to channel subscribers and then took me through the whole process to sign up. Back and forth with screen prints, and I invested 100 dollars, the minimum. After the 36 hours sure enough I got 5% return. Then showed how to withdraw and that went fine, then reinvested and was off and rolling. But when I tried to withdraw a few days later they said I could only withdraw once in the beginner plan ($100 - $5000), but the other plans I could withdraw all the time. Well, that's when I asked the whatsapp person if they really were "so and so" from the youtube and they said "yeah man it's me." Then I said send me a video to prove it, they got upset, no video and I deleted/blocked them. Then I found this forum and you all gave me the truth. Again thanks to all.
Yeah, most newbie fall for it, you can find these scammers in most social media websites' comments and PM's particularly: Facebook and youtube - comment sections for investments Youtube How to vids - comment sections for how to hack crypto wallets, any kind of tricks to crypto investments. Intagram's - investment in DMs Twitter - tweets/retweets for scam giveaways and DM's for investments. Targets are newbie asking questions that's why you need avoid them unless some are legitimately asking questions, as long as its investments related - AVOID. Talking about investments, well, actually there are still legit websites, but they are not that profitable as what other are expecting. I'm talking to crypto/bitcoin casinos investments. Although, I don't know if what new casinos are currently offering investment on their sites I only knew yolodice and bustadice as found on this thread [1][1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5239794.0

They are both online wallet and they are both vulnerable, depending on the one you use more for online activities. But mobile wallets are said to be more vulnerable because you take mobile device outdoor and putting it in your pocketbwhich have more chances of being lost, being outside makes it more vulnerable. For malware attack, they can both be protected by your online anti hack or anti malware practice.
Of course, all device that has internet access are vulnerable, but androids dont get malware as much and as severe as desktop/laptops. Phones cannot be infected malware just by carrying it outside — Obviously, we're talking malware vulnerabilities, any device carrying outside is prone to loss and damage.

So it's basically a mobile wallet. For crypto I will never trust a mobile device to have any wallet. Mobile devices are more vulnerable then desktop and laptops.
I beg to disagree, desktops are more vulnerable than any kind of android phones of this current security patch.. It's just a difference of good practice on how people using their device while doing their crypto stuff. By the look of it op probably got phished which is more vulnerable in phones if you dont have any idea of what you are downloading. Always check the sources and its main website before downloading apps especially in crypto.

The website is using binance logo. Saw an investment package daily/hourly rate, obviously a scam. Btw where did you find this new website? I'm always curious how newbies found these kind of websites. So I shouldn't even try to get my money back, just write it off and delete the account?
The website is made to scam, it's useless to talk to them now. Just charge to experience. Also, what about binance, I want to get into crypto and they seem legit?
Again thank you very much for responding.
Binance [1] is an exchange, where trading happens. If you don't have any idea how to trade better to research first, make it a habit to avoid this kind of incidents. They ask KYC, your personal information, if you dont like the idea, you can use kucoin [2] instead, you can use them and withdraw as long it will not exceed 1 bitcoin. Also, don't leave your crypto in an exchange for very long time. withdraw it to your wallet such as electrum, mycelium, trust wallet for alts, these are non-custodial wallets.Exchange should be used only for trading (spot, future, margin, p2p), avoid their other features if necessary. the purpose of the post was to creat attention to the main fact of notifications and add it officially in forum...
Then you will wait for ages for that to happen, there are already lot of request and suggested features made but only few get a solution and notifications are not in the priority line. Even the new bitcointalk software [1] isnt done yet too in which i think most notification feature have like othee new forum software do. [1] https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=167.0

I really didnt expect that something like this can happen in 2022 and it gives me more urge to share the story and awful experience i had with 1xbit gambling site ( https://1xbit1.com). Everything can be supported by screens of conversation, tx ids on blockchain and others. I have nothing to hide and everything to show. It is totally fault of you and I think you are more guilty then the scammer 1xbit. Because you have posted about the scam incident here after becoming scammed. If you can post here after becoming scammed, you could post here or search here before becoming scammed. There are a lot of scam accusation against them and they had the highest negative feedback on this forum. So, you could save yourself if you posted here or search here before becoming scammed. For real? Instead of having a sympathy at least for those who have lost(money) and scammed, there will be always in this community who will victim blaming. You don't necessarily need to speak and repeat what his mistakes are coz he probably know that already. Just be human, geez.

So, by what criteria was it determined that this was the worst bear market ever?
I bet op is talking about the price dumps since the ATH at 69k and now we are on 20k, actually its just 70%~ish decrease unlike the 2020 bear season where its almost 90% decrease and tanks at 3k lol. So his stand is somewhat understandable when talking the price digit per billion of dollar have got lost due to the bear. Some business shuts their service too.

Well, you will only hear speculations from us and it's difficult to predict on such incidents.
Bitcoin back at $1? It will not happen in the next 10 years and banning it in US or EU is near impossible right now.

Here's an answer for that. Deleting accounts doesn't mess up any threads, like this thread. It just changes to anonymous, with no profile information. Post stays intact. As you can see here, I only change the username to "Anonymous" on request. Technically, anonymous post does not exist. Deleted accounts change their username to Anonymous and become guest by default. And caused this confusion. Edit: Someone posted above seconds faster lol. And yeah that's it.

Now, if it's stuck then it shouldn't be called a lightning payment in the first place. Well, i expect OP is just lacking info telling us here and nothing wrong on the payment.

Did you see that which purpose I gave this opinion do you understand what I saying?!, I don't think so. Because the words you gives here that's meaning was exactly the same what I am saying. Because I certainly didn't say that anyone was taking a gamble as job or work. I hope next time you will reply after putting on your glasses
Oh, now, now, you sound like woman when they are in their period. Keep it low and comprehend before talking. Look, you said, "I think gamble shouldn't take as the source of income", of course, that's right, obviously. That's why i said, you don't really need to THINK about it because it's obviously as it is. It's like asking if you can eat the cake on a birthday party, of course you can, it was bought for that anyway. And there's nothing wrong with unless you're really in your period. Because I think gamble shouldn't take as the source of income or job of a man.
Btw, i don't wear prescription glasses, i have healthy eyes. I just need an anti-rad glasses.

Try to appeal but I doubt that if huge transactions were in check then possible users might just run with it since he is not verified anyway.
P2p transactions on binance or kucoin doesnt work like that unless you're a newbie who doesnt know how to read and understand what are the Notes and Warnings pinned on transaction window. A user will always be safe even transacting to a non-verified seller that has an ad listed there as long as the payment method and best practice dealing on p2p is followed. If ever you did a wrong move, dispute is the only option, scam in p2p kn these two platform is rarely to happen imo.

I like the initiative of this guy. I would focus more on teaching the properties of sound money applied to Bitcoin instead of teaching the scoundrels of trading.
However, i seconded this too. Although a basic trading is not that bad, i guess teaching them the idea of financially literacy will cause more good than bad when these kids tried on trading.

It's a good looking wallet and almost perfect recommended wallet indeed but their mobile app lacking signature signer/verifier feature unlike mycelium which im currently using. Although I don't know if their desktop wallet have signature signer/verifier like electrum too but it will be good if has too.

It's one of the scammers tactics, to make a paid review article tank in search pages. Usually this happens if the website owners never check the links on the article draft to be published by scammers, obviously, money talks.

There may be some individuals willing to trade P2P but for how long?
As long as they feel need to use bitcoin for their investment and financial freedom. China has +billion of people, almost 70% of them can access the internet and probably that heard already about bitcoin. Even China banned bitcoin years ago, I'm sure there are still chinese people keep using and trading bitcoin secretly residing on that country playing on devils luck since the banned happen.
