2641  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another Bitter Critic: "Bitcoin Will be Zero" on: May 27, 2019, 10:01:36 PM
This has already been discussed a lot..... go to 0 is like not gonna happen to many strong believers and HODLers as user count keep increasing and BTC gets more and more attention, when I go to the gym, or resto or wherever I go, it happens more than once I just hear people talking or mentioning the name

And imo I see less and less people talking the DOOM scenarios for BTC, so yes each day is a day of stronger growth new user, new people getting interested etc
For argument sake let me tell you one possible scenario when the price of bitcoin could reach zero, if the US government bans the entire market and put an outright ban on bitcoin and if that happens the price will just dip to double figures and if every country follows that same route it can end up to zero  Cheesy.
We have a billion dollar market and more people are interested in the market and investing in it, the critics will have critic and it is their job, the market moves on even with their negative reviews  Grin.
2642  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin jump to 8500USD, will it hit 10k this week on: May 27, 2019, 09:11:26 PM
I am bullish for Bitcoin.  I think people feeling of FOMO will starting to pile up.  It is possible that Bitcoin will hit 10k this week.  Bitcoin came from a sideway of $8k this rally will possibly record a new higher high and that higher high maybe that $10k
The market will not react like it used to be in the past, FOMO will be there all the time and the market is not bothering anything right now, when Binance got hacked it thought that the momentum will be gone and the market will go down, i had that feeling simply because of past experience as we have seen many times how the market reacts to a major hacking news, but it just did not bother that huge hack and the market kept on increasing, but crossing $10k will be a physiological hurdle and if it crosses then we will cross the all time high valuation by the end of this year.
2643  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Wright on: May 27, 2019, 08:36:51 PM
Craig can claim as much as he wants. It's clear by now that if Craig was satoshi, he would have signed from the address containing the genesis block reward back in 2015/2016.

I'm much more looking forward to the day Craig and Calvin start suing each other. Both have huge egos, and one day they will collide with a fight as result.
He could have done that when the entire drama started but rather than signing from the address from the genesis block i am not sure what he is trying to do, the explanation he gave is that even if he signs people will call him out telling he stole the private key from someone else as private key cannot  exclusive confirm that he is the owner Roll Eyes. I am sure all these egos will clash at some point of time  Cheesy.

They need to drag Roger too. As far as I know Craig is making moves to take bitcoin(dot)com, this is scary and pleasant as the same time. If he succeeds, we'll be getting rid off Roger for good but will have to deal with Craig but since he is ridiculous beyond imagination he won't be able to cause much harm.

The bad part is, if he manages to take bitcoin(dot)com from Roger, he sure can take .org domain and anything related to bitcoin as well.

I just want 3 of them to fight forever in a pool of mud.
It will be a shit show for sure when all these egos fight between each other and if Craig is after bitcoin.com how come he is able to take over that domain if it is under the custody of Roger, does the copyright Craig attained right now will force Roger to release that domain, not sure how that thing works when it comes to domains.
2644  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is your BITCOIN price prediction this year? on: May 27, 2019, 07:32:43 PM
In my idea my bitcoin price prediction this year can reach up to $9k. Because as we experience now that the price is increasing so it has a big possibility that the price is high until the year end.
If you look at the current market price it is closing towards $9K  Cheesy we have more than seven months for the end of this year and if the price is almost touching $9K at this time we need to have a big correction in the middle to keep the price below $10K by the end of this year, with the price showing this much strength earlier this year i am expecting a price well over $10K , having said that you cannot expect anything in this market and nothing can be predicted here, the final rally after the halving depends upon the price we will have at the end of this year.
2645  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Craig Wright on: May 27, 2019, 06:49:32 PM
I agree. Let Craig Wright do whatever he wanted to do and be the clown for all the media to enjoy with. He craved for publicity and he will do anything to make that happen.
I am not liking the antics of Craig Wright in any shape or form but he already claimed that he has registered the bitcoin.org domain through his credit card and if that is true i am not sure what to take of that situation, if he has the balls to register the copyright claim, the fines might not be that big but the tag of being a fraudster will be set in stone if that were mere lies. The drama will continue as long as someone will sign the genesis block.
2646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will NBA teams start paying Bitcoin to their players? on: May 27, 2019, 04:03:37 PM
I know this is crazy for non-Bitcoiners, but for me, it's a possibility.
In the NBA, the Sacramento Kings are the first NBA team to accept Bitcoin payments via BitPay, and Golden State Warriors' sponsor, Rakuten, bought a crypto exchange.
I wonder when NBA players will start doing their own revolution by forcing their respective teams to pay them in Bitcoin?
I would love to see this coming, but what are your thoughts on this one guys. Any feedback will be appreciated.
It is not a realistic possibility from my perspective as the players are earning millions and i really do not think that they will be happy to settle their salary in bitcoin as it is really volatile to accept it as a salary, no one will force anyone to pay them using bitcoin or any other form of payment, but they might take smaller payments in bitcoin and not the entire salary. I support bitcoin but that does not mean that i will be happy getting my salary in bitcoin  Smiley.
2647  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Unregulated market is illegal or legal? on: May 27, 2019, 03:19:51 PM
Crypto illegalization depends on what country it is. So even though its legal for you to acquire crypto, if you want to buy something or send some of it on those people who lived in a total ban crypto then that would be useless. And also, here in my country, you cannot establish a company if you arent a citizen but you can open a bank account.
If you live in a country where crypto is totally banned, then acquiring and holding bitcoin or any other coin is illegal for that matter, having a total ban and having restrictions are two things entirely, if it is not regulated, then there is nothing to worry until they come up with some sort of regulation in the future. You cannot establish a company dealing with virtual currency if it is unregulated, until there is any sort of instruction from the ruling government.
2648  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exit Scam on: May 27, 2019, 11:54:16 AM
Be careful with ICOs, we were all warned about many of their shady projects.

And as long as there are investors that are too gullible with such projects, they will continue to reproduce. It's hard to accept for them that the best days of ICOs are now gone.
We had hundreds of ICO projects and there is none that comes to my mind that sticks around, every ICO that happened were fake one's who scammed every user and ran with the money and there is no legal penalties for fooling the investors and getting away with millions, we know very well that these projects will not come up if there is strict regulation in this market and they were taking advantage of the situation.

2650  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BestMixer is gone, seized by the Financial Crime Investigation on: May 27, 2019, 06:11:31 AM
So where are you heading with this statement of yours lol. The situation bestmixer currently find themselves in, has nothing to do with their downgrading of other mixers. it was just a business strategy they employed. Irrespective of whether your downgrade other mixer or not, if the government body have you under their radar they'll come for you.
If best mixer had the best practice when it comes to hosting and how they secure their servers as well as their domain, these kind of situations does not arise, all they could do is seize the domain name and nothing can be done other than that, but that is not the case here, they were investigating them for a year, took all the details and then acted, if you are running a service like this, which cleans all the tracks of your coins, you have to be aware that you might end up in a situation like this.
2651  Economy / Reputation / Re: [need DT] using multiple account, trading merit, self-talking, trading trust on: May 27, 2019, 05:26:07 AM
There is nothing wrong in helping a friend and sharing things with him and informing about this site, but i have a few doubts after reading everything you said.

We know each other for almost a decade we live door to door. I trust him with a few bucks on ETH address and he wears my ref links. Is this against the forum rules?
Why is this a problem if we are shouting all around the forum that we know each other and that we are close friends?
I just sent a PM to @Crypto Mania but he is not available now to take a part in this discussion.
I am happy, I did it just after @Crypto Mania registered because now, I have evidence to defend myself against somebody who is hiding against a newbie account.
You said you are living door to door for a decade and if that is the case and if you think you are accused of something, what is the first thing you do, PM him about the issue and wait indefinitely or make a call and clarify this ASAP  Roll Eyes. Since you said you are living nearby and close friends for a decade i am certain that you have his phone number.

He doesn't have Telegram at all and that is why he used my nick, I assume. I didn't know about this but is this against forum rules?
I can't do anything if @Crypto Mania is doing newbie mistakes.
Do you think I will be so stupid to use same ETH address, usernames and ref links in my alt account? I will be tagged at first application to a signature campaign.
You know very well that all it takes to have a Telegram account is a phone and a phone number and how easy it is to install in your friends mobile. Since you are a user here for a long time you very well know that people will connect you with those and thousands of users got tagged and you mentioned that you know that very well, without your permission how can he use your telegram account, that is not a newbie mistake.
About ETH address and ref links, you can see many are caught using alt accounts because they can be connected and yes you are stupid enough to share the address while it takes a few minutes to create a ETH address even if he does not know shit about anything, you can keep the private key and send the address, what is so difficult if you are aware of the forum rules, so who is to be blamed here.

Yes, we have this is a bounty address. As you see in the title "ofertyww" means bounty, offers in Polish. Later he registered ofertywww@gmail.com.
I have shared all knowledge with @Crypto mania at the beginning and helped to join bounties of good projects which I thought will be successful after research.
You have to remember that not everybody is 18 or 20. There are guys like me or him after the '50s and not a computer geek.
Even to create a new email address is a problem don't mention new wallets on ETH because is black magic for such people.
You really do not need to be a geek to create a mail ID, he knows how to join a bounty but does not have a clue about creating a mail ID Roll Eyes.

Note: There is too much evidence against you and let the community decide on what to do.
2652  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. on: May 26, 2019, 04:38:46 PM
Man-eating tigers could hunt down more humans due to climate change

The reasons why big cats turn on humans are complex and can be specific to individuals. But they can no longer be explained outside the context of climate change. Biodiversity depletion, habitat loss, extreme weather events, and a greater struggle over natural resources are affecting how animals live across the entire Indian subcontinent, and indeed the world. We should look to the case of Avni not for the peculiar baiting method, but rather for what her life and death tells us about the climate crisis.
I am not sure whether you are serious here, i have not heard about young tigers hunting down humans, majority of these case have being reported when an old tiger who does not have the strength to hunt in the wild come over to residential areas for easy prey and other things can be factored into it such as the deforestation and that is the root cause of animals vs human encounters.
2653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will they ever find Satoshi Nakamoto? Make your prediction... on: May 26, 2019, 06:43:43 AM
I really do not care. It's best to just leave the guy/s and respect his/her/their decision to stay anonymous. He/She/They will come out if they wanted to. Bitcoin will move forward with or without him/her/them anyway.
That's why he/they left Bitcoin open source code so that anyone can modify on it and improve. I would rather not waste my time on searching the founder of Bitcoin, besides, we are thankful to the founder of bitcoin he/they discover a great digital currency.
I am not supporting anyone who is after Satoshi Nakamoto when he wanted privacy, i understand the sentiment that he left the source code open so that anyone could modify, but have you ever imagined, if someone or a team could come up with something that no one ever thought will have a solution (double spending) and if he has the intellect to built something from scratch, do you think that he did not have a solution for the transaction bottle necks, some things have spooked him and so is the reason he went hiding and if he was active i am sure we could have got solutions and the development should progress in a smooth way.
2654  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 55.48974266 BTC sent to Binance mistakenly! on: May 25, 2019, 11:05:30 AM
UPDATE
Hello Dear Community,
I never believed it but yes, pigs can fly.   https://prnt.sc/nqc958
Your comments helped me to endure all these hardships and setbacks during my communication with Binance.
Don't lose your faith in humanity.
See you then!
I just saw your thread and the stupidity in which 55BTC is sent to a wrong address is mind blowing and especially after the hack i was lacking in confidence with the binance team and i was bashing them when ever i get to comment on a thread regarding them, but the way in which they responded and resolved your case is outstanding even though you were a prick disturbing them every two days for the mistake you made Cheesy .
Big shout out to binance for resolving this issue but still angry about their security blunder they made.
2655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 61-year Old Chinese Grandma Convicted For Stealing Electricity To Mine Bitcoin on: May 25, 2019, 12:01:17 AM
I am not convinced that an old grandma understands how bitcoin mining works and she stole the electricity to mine bitcoin which is really weired, may be someone did that and she was caught instead. I am not a person who believes every media story and that is the reason i am skeptical about this news.
Maybe someone young from her family was really mining but when get caught they used grandma to tackle the lawsuit.
Saying because the lawsuit could be easy to tackle with an old lady over a young one, just wondering. Maybe the sentence is low for old persons.
It is possible to tackle the issue with an elderly person, but it is really a cruelty if that is the truth, even i do not think that a old person could mine bitcoin, i am not sure whether that old lady is a IT expert or into electronics, if not there is no way in hell she is able to set a mining farm on her own. The article says that she accepted that she mined bitcoin, i think that old lady is covering for someone else in the family.
2656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRON - worth investing? on: May 24, 2019, 11:14:55 PM
I would say it's better to invest 100% of your capital into BTC, but it your choice. However, tron is also a good one, I would say it has the chance of reaching ATH again.
It depends upon the amount of money you are planning to invest, since Tron is a promising project and if the amount of money to invest is low then i would suggest to invest in low valuation coin rather than in bitcoin, if the amount is big, which means above two thousand dollars then i would invest in bitcoin hands down and wait for the long haul, if the amount you are planning to invest is below $500, investing in low valuation coin for better profit is not a bad idea either.
2657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tokens prices are decreasing? on: May 24, 2019, 10:06:39 PM
How do you respond when the tokens that you store prices continue to decline? whether you will sell as soon as possible or will hold until the price rises up again. Panic will certainly come over, but it doesn't have to sell. What do you think. Thank you very much.
Most of the tokens i have invested i got out at the right price simply because i really do not trust these projects in the long term, it is a new market and we will see many projects but there is a limit for everything to fulfill what they set out because of the regulation issue and until there is a clear regulation it is highly unlikely we will see legit projects and hence i exited all the tokens i invested a long back, now holding only a few legit coins in the top ten.
2658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is popular, what do you think? Will you participate? on: May 24, 2019, 09:33:35 PM
The coin market ieo has turned the speculative coin into gambling. No matter whether the project is good or not, no one cares about it. The bear market project can't be used for money.
All these investments in the name of new projects are just silly and should stop, there is no guarantee that they will fulfill the task nor they will take any effort after collecting the funds, people are seeing this as a means to make money in a short period of time and get out, initially you might get the desired profits but later on you will be a back holder if you keep on holding longer or end up in a loss. People will always find a way to make money by attracting investors, we have seen the ICO trend earlier and i cannot find many projects that lasted. I will avoid these kind of investment like a plague.
2659  Economy / Reputation / Re: Fake account. on: May 24, 2019, 08:29:01 PM
Noticed from BPIP search, someone has been created a account called "Coolcryptovator999. I don't know who have created it, this account is not control by me or this is not my alt account.

Account has been created on May 12, 2019, 05:03:22 PM, means its done recently. Perhaps peoples will confuse by username. So avoid dealing with that account, its not me.
It is a fairly new account and no one will confuse that account with yours until they could ramp up reputation and merits like you do and be a direct competitor which is highly unlikely, so there is nothing to worry about mate  Wink. You could find many newbie accounts with similar username as other senior accounts and it is not nothing new and with the new merit system the chance of spending time to rank that account to impersonate are slim.

No, I am not worried. This post just for information and clarification. To be honest, besides of reputation I have build lot of enemy on this forum. So they are always trying to find new way to attack me like alts, merit abuse etc etc. So this statement is just for reference, nothing else.
Recently saw your fight against scammers and you are doing a good job at that and helping the community and the alt attack is nothing new and the community will stand by you.
2660  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: May 24, 2019, 05:47:45 PM
hopefully this year will repeat the events in 2017, so that we can see the surge in prices from FOMO and pay off all of our waiting. all bitcoiners are optimistic this year can see an upward trend
Never expect the market to rise all the time and if you think that we will see a rally we had in the past, it is highly unlikely to see those kind of rallies, but the market right now is looking strong and the rally will come after the halving and till that time the market is showing its strength as big time investors are accumulating the coins earlier for the big bull run next year.
