1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Never trust an ICO ranking site! on: June 02, 2020, 07:39:48 PM
ICO  ranking websites are only doing what a sensible business manager would do, they get paid to rank the project high and that allows the company to continue being profitable. If someone offered you that much money you would take it too, or at least you should take it to be a profitable website.
You can call them fraud if they are taking money from scam projects and then rank them to be the best project in town. I understand that they are doing business ranking these shitty projects but even for that they need to have a background check whether the project is legit or just made to lure people to invest and then run away with the money and none of these ranking websites are not doing any of these background check.
1682  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: June 02, 2020, 06:44:51 PM
^^^ As usual, current players are not there. Journalists have a tendency to overlook current players, and to glorify past players. And here, Deepu Narayanan has done the same thing. I have nothing against players such as Matthew Hayden, Andy Flower and Hashim Amla. But at the same time, I don't think that they are better than Steve Smith or Kane Williamson. And the selection of Graeme Swann ahead of Shane Warne is perplexing, to say the least.
Since it is about retired players Steve Smith and Kane Williamson is not considered but i have a difference of opinion as Mathew Hayden and Andy Flower played during an era where every team had a world class bowler and they played really well against any opponents and on their day they could win matches on their own. It is not a wise move to compare players from different generations.
1683  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 01, 2020, 11:58:34 PM
Look like Jon Jones lost his mind for the Nth time and now fighting with Dana White and no idea whether he is serious about his social media rants but most of them have taken those seriously. I do not think Jones wants to enter the boxing ring but he wants the money what the top boxers earn for his UFC fights.
Jon Jones always like to play around in social media and i think he is trolling everybody during his rest time and Jon Jones does not want to create another legal issue that could end up in jail and hence he is calling out different fighters and responding to every fighter even though they are not in his weight class and i initially though it was a great idea by Jon Jones to call out Francis Ngannou who is not even a champion and one of the scariest heavyweight fighter in UFC history and i expected he would walk away citing low wages but when he said about vacating his title, it went too far.
1684  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Halvings impact on Bitcoins price on: June 01, 2020, 08:36:24 PM
If you want instant bitcoin bull market then you are thinking wrong. Because now that situation, this kind of situation was not the time of the previous two halving. The world economy is getting worse day by day people are losing jobs so how do you expect people to be interested in investing now. The bull market will not come without retail investors. You may have seen usdt printing and injecting in the market, there are only a few behind it. Everything takes time, I am hopeful Bitcoin will start the real run again very soon, when we get out of this situation
There is no doubt that the economic situation is struggling but what we have to understand that the bitcoin market could be controlled by financial fund houses if they have a few billions of dollars and that is what i am expecting. These financial investing fund houses knew that the price of bitcoin would rally every halving and if these fund houses consider investing in bitcoin where they are already doing in now we might see a rally.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 01, 2020, 02:32:24 AM
Agreed! I also appears that Jon Jones might also be in hurting need for money. He was demanding to receive $15m from the company as mentioned by Dana on the press conference. I speculate that he wants to retire after a big fight hehehe.
It looks like he wanted big money as he lost most of his purse in the past 4 years and the damage he did to himself and because of that he lost many lucrative advertisement deals worth millions and he still keeps messing up and after watching his past two fights i do not think that the invisibility will last longer and hence he might want to make the maximum money while he can and get out because once Jon Jones looses a fight then he will never be the same fighter.
1686  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Be a professional gambler on your own way. on: May 31, 2020, 11:59:14 PM
In the past, I would have done a lot of research on strategies, tips and features of games, as you mentioned. But then I realized that all of this spoils the fun of the job. I cannot enjoy any games I am playing. Then I stopped looking for a strategy for gambling. I now enjoy more while gambling with less money.
If you are talking about sports gambling then i understand there are many strategies and as a fan of the game and if you wagged on the sport you might not enjoy the game like you used to in a relaxing manner but for some it will give you the added rush to watch the match. If you are talking about casino games what strategies you are talking about because apart from dice and roulette i am not an expert of other casino games.

But of course I can't say the same for betting. Betting requires research first and surveillance. According to the game you play, it is necessary to mention some important points such as performance analysis, the condition of the injured and penalized players.
Sports betting is much complex than it appears, sure the injury and other inside information will pay dividends while wagging a bet.

1687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [WRX] WazirX Speculation on: May 31, 2020, 11:35:17 PM
Holy shit so Binance acquired Wazir I had no idea. So now when I use WazirX I am basically using BNB in a long roundabout way.
With a domestic population of 1.3 billion, WazirX would be a potential competitor of Binance if it wasn't be accquired. That said, WRX is always a shadow of BNB and hence I don't find any meaning of this thread.
You stated the answer below, since another exchange is acquired by binance and they have an utility token and with the money power they have who knows whether they will not manipulate the coin and will pump the price  Cheesy.

I also started to be scared of Binance's power and influence. First, they bought Coinmarketcap, then helped Justin Sun to buy Steemit. Now this WazirX acquisition. Binance is proving that it's superior than the rest. The cryptocurrency market needs a same sized company to maintain motivation and fairness. It's similar to ARM vs x86 (x64), AMD vs Intel, Samsung vs Apple...
Binance is having a hold of the cryptocurrency market and diversifying on different markets and they might purchase some media sites in the future to market their tokens as well, who knows how well this will go but they are aggressive in these acquisitions.
1688  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: May 31, 2020, 08:23:32 PM
We all know that the recent Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected life. This disease is very dangerous and can be deadly. Several countries have developed vaccines to prevent diseases. If this vaccine is successful we will escape the deadly danger. The plague also caused economic losses, nor has the cryptocurrency market grown. I am waiting for a market rebound.
The pandemic has greatly affected everyone's life including business but one thing is clear, it is not that deadly as predicted earlier. Not sure what you are claiming here, no country developed any kind of vaccine for the corona virus and from where you are getting all these information. The pandemic created an  economic crisis and it is much bigger than anyone could anticipate.
1689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson vs Holyfield Charity Fight on: May 29, 2020, 11:50:17 PM
I'm excited for this fight, what would be the betting odds for this fight, IIRC, in their last match, it was Holyfield who came up a winner.
This fight I would not think of a revenge since this is just an exhibition fight for a charity cause, we can't expect an explosive fight too since they are over 50.
Tyson and Holyfield were bitter enemies when they were active but now we could see them hangout together and having fun and they are in their later part of their career and i would love to see them return to fighting again against lesser opponent but not against each other.

I wonder if these fight would be able to generate at least $1 million.
No they are not, they are looking for a million dollar per fighter and it is not going to be the entire purse.
1690  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 28, 2020, 11:51:51 PM
I really don't see how this can happen with the cases increasing in India daily while in Australia the cases remain under control for now. It will be sad if we have to wait this long just to see the T20 world cup but as I said before in here, it all comes down to money and power and the BCCI seem to have both.
What does money power to do in a situation like this, since the T20 world cup is hosted by Australia and the situation there is better and hence there would not be any resistance in going with the series. If they wanted to conduct the IPL then there is no way they can conduct with the situation is not favorable and money power cannot do everything during a pandemic.
1691  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 28, 2020, 10:24:47 PM
let’s hope that this tournament goes ahead as planned, but is there any clarification about spectators will they be allowed in the stands or no?. Furthermore it’s only a matter of few days now before the mind games begin between these two sides, and it’ll be pure entertainment for fans like us who’re sorely missing live cricket action.
There is plenty of time for the series to commence and 5 months is plenty of time to open up everything, the situation is Australia is much better than the rest of the developed countries and hence they can afford to have audience by that time. I was missing sports for a long time but good to see other sports resuming and cricket is also planning to resume and i am expecting the England and West Indies series before this.
1692  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: May 28, 2020, 12:00:09 AM
People are loosing their minds during this pandemic
I agree with it, the cops are killing innocent people Breonna Taylor and recently George Floyd cases are prime example. Taylor was shot multiple times and George was pinned down by a cop and died and these were not criminals and these sort of news are coming out which is depressing in a situation like these. Rumors and other controversial stuffs are not that bad but the mental health issues are a major concern.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So it looks like Cobra is planning on passing on the Bitcoin.org domain on: May 27, 2020, 11:49:54 PM
it is amazing how many of you are concerned about his domain transfer ,
but could care less how Greg Maxwell and Blockstream have fucked over bitcoin while getting a payoff from the Banking Cartels.  Tongue
Sounds familiar as i have heard this quote somewhere  Grin. But yet to find the banking cartels. BCH is also funded as well as BSV if those are cartels then you might be spot on Tongue.

Kind of shows why the Price of Bitcoin keeps dropping , the majority of the bitcoin community are nutjobs.   Kiss
Bitcoin can't scale, Bitcoin Nutjobs don't care, Cobra mentions transferring a domain and the nutjobs lose their fucking minds.  Cheesy
3.49% increase in bitcoin price and going up, looks like the cartels have seen your message and fucking with you pumping the price  Tongue Cheesy.

1694  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 27, 2020, 11:10:10 PM
I just hope it won't be something like Adesanya vs Romero.  Lol.  Wrong move by giving Romero a chance imo.  Adesnya should've just waited it out til Costa could fight.
Romero is always a bad match up for anyone in the division as they know how powerful he is and Adesanya was more cautious on not getting hit by a train and Romero too pulled back and was never in the momentum throughout the fight, every round i was expecting now we will see some fireworks but it never happened and if he was waiting for Paulo Costa then it would have been a wrong move as his last fight was last year in UFC 241 and still he is not ready to compete.

1695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have now 3 ETH, when ETH 2.0 (proof of stake) is out , do i will lose my 3 ETH on: May 27, 2020, 10:40:55 PM
You can look at what happened when Bitcoin split into Bitcoin + Bitcoin Cash, BTC holders retained their funds and earned an equivalent amount of BCH.

A similar setup will occur when ETH moves to POS.
Is there any situation like that happening with ETH, i do not see major split in the community as of now and ETH usually does things as a dictatorship and the only issue happened when the forked from the real chain without any warning when there was a major hack and some were against the fork and so we have two chains and when they upgrade now i do not see anyone looking to take over the old chain and think they could have people trusting them unless there is big group planning to take over the old chain and for that to happen they need major resources.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: May 27, 2020, 10:10:01 PM
I personally like IEO rather than ICO. For now the trend on cryptocurrency is IEO. It way better for investor and bounty hunter. But, the succesful of the project it self it depends on strong fundamental. I think because of many scam project, ICO is untrustworthy.
Right now the trend is IEO, earlier everyone was behind the ICO market and there are many who made a quick buck and there are many who burned their investment and we will hear in the future that everyone complaining about how the IEO craze burned them. As an investor you need to be smart even though it is carried out by a popular exchange but you have to remember is these popularity changes with time.
1697  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 27, 2020, 08:56:11 PM
Currently no one is sure about this season and coming series but good thing is England cricketers on training and we can expect some late but cricket is coming I just search few sites and have latest update from this as most chances first test in coming in July https://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/52704689
Along with the English players the West Indies players started training and it is possible that the cricket board will green signal the tournament to carry on. Football started and it is fun to watch the matches after a long time and hopefully cricket will resume as well in the next couple of months and with both these teams started training it is highly likely we would see the series.
1698  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What was your experience trading cryptocurrency? on: May 27, 2020, 08:20:28 PM
Been trading for quite a while now and it took me time to get to where i am today coming from a noob in trading. Trading cryptocurrencies was one hell of an experience for me Grin.

The first cryptocurrency i traded back in late 2018 was bitcoin and i lost a whole lot of money trading it. I guess i didn't learn enough about the crypto market and the volatility involved before delving into it  Undecided.
This is a major issue when people who traded in traditional market like stock market and forex makes when they see a huge volatility they sell off and wait for the market to stabilize but in cryptocurrency the market does move in both directions and if you are not used to the market then you would panic and take positions and then when the market returns back you already sold the coins at a loss.

Welcome to the wild west of trading  Wink.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 27, 2020, 07:14:54 PM
but still I would prefer someone with cricketing experience like Sangakkara.
To manage a position you need to have management skills and it might the reason why people with business credentials came into power, not sure about the management skills of Kumar Sangakkara but if a former players with management skills can take over the position then he can make changes which would aide cricket rather than having pure businessman in those positions.

If i am being honest then i see this as a "Select at least one Brown guy in the management for balance Grin" that's it  hehe
Indian people are already holding those positions  Tongue Cheesy. Can try someone from Australia England South Africa or even from Sri Lanka or Pakistan Grin.
1700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is gambling another good use case for coin to have more demand? on: May 27, 2020, 05:55:33 PM
Can gambling use case help a project to have good value in future? I was following a project called blockstamp and after they introduce their online casino platform in 2019 the coin surge over 1$ from 0.12$ I think, is gambling another way to make a coin demanding? Do you gamble online? E g casinos?
It can be a triggering factor which could help in gaining more attention but that does not mean that the price would increase considerably high just because a gambling platform started accepting it, dogecoin and other similar low valuation coins are accepted in majority of the sites in the past couple of years but we are yet to see a rally if that is the case.
