1741  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Education on: May 18, 2020, 08:39:21 PM
For bitcoin to be included in the school course curriculum, it needs to be first made legal by the countries. How can you include anything in the course which is not legal in most of the countries.  In my country, some people are offering courses on blockchain or crypto trading but that is being done at a personal or private level. There is no official course launched by our government.
Including bitcoin in a school curriculum, i doubt that would happen, but we might see blockchain been a topic and there might be university offering courses. In the future we might see more university opening up courses for blockchain.

Especially in countries where there is a lack of employment, training should be provided on various aspects of making money online, one of which is cryptocurrency. They will be interested in learning about Bitcoin and may be a means of earning money in the future.
The problem here that look at bitcoin as a way to make money online, then you are understanding it the wrong way, majority landed in bitcoin thinking that it is an easy way to make money, but making money is not easy.
1742  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin exceed 20k this year like in 2017? on: May 18, 2020, 02:44:01 PM
Too much expectation can lead to disappointments despite that altcoins dont have the better chance to surge in price than bitcoin because most crypto investors trusted mainly in Bitcoin and those that missed the previous bitcoin halving growth in price wont dare to choose altcoin now.
The expectation is really high from members who have not experienced halving, all they heard is that the price usually rallies after halving but they fail to check the charts to understand when the momentum started, if everyone is expecting the price to touch new levels in a month or two after halving then they will be disappointed because that is not the way the market performed in the past. For anyone expecting a rally you need to understand the economic situation as well as we never had any financial trouble during the first two halving. So it is time to adjust everyone's expectations accordingly  Tongue.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FOX prepared to add virtual fans and crowd noise to NFL broadcasts on: May 18, 2020, 10:10:41 AM
I have watched the german Bundesliga over the weekend without fans and it just seems weird... no fans, no crowd noises.
Takes away the atmosphere and makes the game almost seem a bit dull.

Of course the noise would only be in the broadcast and not in an empty stadium.
It is not that weird to play in an empty stadium but if you add noise with the use of speakers then it will be pretty weird. I hate to say this, but i never expected we would see fake reactions but now the broadcasters wanted to add the crowd noise to add the flavor.  I would like to hear the real conversation of the players rather than some fake reactions and with an empty stadium you could clearly hear what the players talk and a good commentary will sort the problem.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 17, 2020, 05:38:15 PM
The decision has been taken at the ICC board meeting last Friday shows that they have three options for the upcoming T-20 World Cup.
1) The first option allows crowds with a 14-days quarantine as per the T20 global schedule.
2) The second is that there will be no spectators in any stadium during the T-20 World Cup.
3) The third option is to move the tournament to 2022.
The first option is an impossible task, you cannot expect every audience to be responsible and place himself in quarantine so that they will be able to watch a match. The ICC needs to spend more money to monitor every ticket holder and it is not going to happen. The second options is possible but are they prepared to go on with the match without any audience, the third option is realistic as to push the world cup to 2022 but it will be hard for the senior players who are on the verge of retirement.
1745  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: May 17, 2020, 02:30:31 PM
Addressing the issue of coronavirus epidemics does not lead to a solution to t he financial crisis in the future. Covid-19 was not the main cause of the financial crisis, but IT was its detonator. Therefore, in the future, financial crises will be repeated periodically and the reasons for them will be different.
The reality is what you mentioned, the economic situation was not that great and the slowdown was evident in many sectors and the pandemic will be the triggering factor and i am expecting the politicians to blame everything on the pandemic for the disaster rather than owning up to their disastrous policies. The amount of money pumped during the 2008 crisis is still in the market and now they are pumping money further and how long they can do that can be seen in the coming years.
1746  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: May 16, 2020, 11:43:39 PM
In my opinion domestic tournaments should be there to develop a cricket player and a selection process to represent the national team and some of these players will be sent abroad to gain experience.
I do agree with it, everything is commercialized and it is better to keep domestic cricket as it is as it is helping some players to make a living and if they are performing well then they can get selected for the national team and it will help in grooming young players. The reason for the success of England Australia and India in world cricket is because they have a good domestic tournament aimed at producing young talents.
1747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: May 16, 2020, 11:27:58 PM
Who is hating Lightning Network? when we can save a lot of transaction fees although it has some limitations. But it could really help in a way, specially if we go on another parabolic run choking the network.

So if you wanted to pay someone, you can take advantage of LN, open a channel so that the other party can issue the payment without adding congestion to the network, p2p, off-chain transaction.
As mentioned the only issue with me is the limitations and trusting a random channel expecting that i could trust them. We are seeing the adoption for a while but for a major adoption we need to have a friendly interface and i expect electrum or similar companies to come up with Lightning Network integration that could help anyone to start a channel easily.

Right now the bitcoin transaction are congested and it is taking several hours to get a confirmation. I hope majority of the exchanges starts accepting LN to avoid the delay.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not follow every market wave on: May 14, 2020, 11:06:57 PM
It is wrong if you try to follow every trade wave in the crypto currency market.
It leads to pressure, unnecessary emotional imbalance and fuds.
It depends upon individual experience, if you take a look at the market and the daily volume you will understand what is going on. You do not necessarily act on every market movement but there are people who make a call on every movement. You choice what mode of trading you are comfortable with according to your skills, if you are well versed then option trading is where you make the maximum money but the risk level is much higher.
1749  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 13, 2020, 09:26:35 PM
Conor McGregor, and Dustin Poirier caused a reaction on twitter.
Conor is trying hard to get a title fight and he knows only trash talking could help him in this regard  Cheesy.

And Tony Ferguson dancing from the clinic.
Tony is a special breed, his chin impressed me and he is dancing around after a really tough fight and in hospital, i bet he is in real pain after the brutal fight.

Name callings started over Twitter.
Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson is first, and I think Toni knows that he will miss title fight against Khabib now,
so he plans to fight with Conor in next fight.
It is just my theory, but realistic.
Conor is taunting Tony, Gaethje and Nate Diaz and he knows someone will get hooked in his trap and he will be targeting Gaethje as he knows that is the best option to get his hands back on Khabib.
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: here comes the alts days? on: May 13, 2020, 06:38:03 PM
I didn't get what you said, how can you buy ETH, XRP, or USDT will get BTC? You are like saying you buy a pizza, but you want to get a cup of coffee. Please tell more specific
It is an age old technique to purchase all the pump and dump coins and wait for them to rally so that they could exchange them with bitcoin pairing and then wait for the bitcoin to rally and then make a fortune  Cheesy. That was possible when the ICO frenzy started as all the coins used to rally and it was basically pumping without any base but the market has matured and moved from that situation.

Ohhh,While Craig S. Wright claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto and here McAfee is claiming to be a friend of the Founder/
This drama seems very funny as days goes by .
The only solution is to ignore both these clowns, the problem i see is that everyone is waiting to see what they say and then jump on to give them publicity, in the beginning it was fun to listen their drama but it is more than 4 year and still they are continuing which is weary.

there are so many problem that bitcoin is facing and still these two clowns are not stopping their claims?how i wish one day This two stupid person will totally shut their mouth and stop being nonsense in this community.
What problems are you talking about . Ignore them and move on and they have nothing to do with the bitcoin community.
1752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bch will grow on btc halving? on: May 12, 2020, 11:58:49 PM
BCH can grow on BTC halving, that is why as you know ETH is one of the best altcoins. But if we want to see ETH price, it is just 187.10 USD, on the other hand, BCH is 233.31 USD. There is no huge difference between them if BCH can show us a huge price, which means BCH can be more profitable in the future. If we said after the halving something will be better. No doubt it is just so hard to predict something and to know what will happen.
Hope you are aware that BCH also halved similarly on the same day. ETH is not a currency, i trust BCH more than ETH simply because it is a fork of bitcoin.
To have a full understanding about the current development i am not following what they are doing right now, what i do is follow the market and see how they are competing in price with other bitcoin fork coins so that i can book my profit. Considering BCH is accepted in gambling sites and there is a use case it will rally along with the price of bitcoin.
1753  Economy / Economics / Re: Some Strategies to Face the Next Crisis on: May 12, 2020, 10:58:39 PM
we are yet not done with this current crisis, people are still going to die. some countries today are lucky because they have resources around them and some countries will starve.
All the major financial hot spots are facing the crisis and the virus is not showing any partiality to anyone, some of the third world countries are not having the same impact for the virus but it might be because of their poor medical system and the lack of testing.

we don't know yet whats to come in the next crisis by the next 50 years, we all probably are dead. and the new generations will face it. by that time as well its all digital so the crisis could be in a digital form.
What does it even mean  Roll Eyes. A crisis in digital form  Grin.

The coronavirus epidemic showed so many people how wasteful they were about their money, I just saw a huge number of people who did not put off any savings from their salaries, which is quite wild for me, because. anything can happen, and you need to be prepared for everything.
The epidemic will change the perspective of people but i expect that to be for the next two years and then everyone will forget about it and continue what they used to do in the past  Cheesy.

Yup like, India doesn't have any other priorities than hosting IPL? Why you guys so noob, even they will try to host
I was not talking about conducting the IPL, i just said there are options if they really wanted to carry on with the tournament on a topic where they were discussion about moving the event outside India.

no International players will be allow to enter into Indian territories and if no International players involved forget about brand value of IPL, BCCI cant take risk of loosing of Brand Value. we are loosing 100's of life daily, infecting 1000's of daily and we fool are discussing here, when to start IPL. UFC is not not a team game and it's individual sports and personal gain to those who got involved. In IPL International level players play, don't think any board will allow to give NOC to their player in this pandemic time.
Assuming they were carrying with the tournament no international players will be allowed to play but if you say that the brand value of IPL is players outside BCCI control then you are wrong. The brand value is the amount of population they have and the amount of money they can dispense. I accept the argument that UFC is a individual sport but what if they could test everyone and no outside contact until the tournament is over Wink.

1755  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Deal with worst Market on: May 12, 2020, 10:01:39 PM
I would personally just keep on buying, look at people who bought at 20k, if they bought at 3k last time we were there, they would have been in profit by now if they invested enough there. That is just what I would do tho, I don't know what you would think smarter.
Anyone who invested in bitcoin when the price was around $20 k just rushed in to make a quick profit after hearing the market buzzing high and all the economic channels were showcasing the biggest rally in a market in a very long time and it was not surprising the swamp of investor to purchase when the price was at an all time high and if someone had a bad experience it is highly unlikely they will stay for a long period and then have the confidence to invest in it again.
The smart way is always entering when the market goes down, but there is no magical time.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 12, 2020, 08:51:57 PM
IPL nor any sporting events is more important than the safety and security of the players. If the government decides to give a green signal for the IPL to divert the issues that is going on, then we might see them conducting inside India and not anywhere else.
No one will debate against safety and security of the players but what if they can conduct the sporting event with all the necessary precautions. The UFC recently conducted an event and some of the sports body is trying to find ways to restart everything and if the BCCI could test every player and when they are in a public space they can wear masks and gloves and once all the players are in camp and everyone is tested then there is a possibility.

Agreed! It has always been an unlucky pairing for uncle Dana hehehe.

In any case, I speculate El Cucuy might fight Dustin Poirier after this loss. Also, clearly next fight for Khabib is Justin. Who will be next for Conor, however? Certainly not Nate. This will not improve Conor's ranking and challenge the champion.
Tony and Khabib was seen as the biggest fight in history and Gaethje and corona virus spoiled everything Grin, now the logical fight for Tony is to fight Dustin and Conor already started trash talking Tony, if anyone remembers Conor never said a word about fighting Tony before the loss  Cheesy.
If Dana could lure Nate Diaz then we will see the Conor and Diaz trilogy.
1758  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Vaccine against Covid-19 should be made before sports events will take place? on: May 12, 2020, 06:33:38 PM
This is also why the mayor in Las Vegas is planning to reopen business in her town coz she is worried about their economy because private business is what makes her town lively. On the sad part, doctors and scientist might take longer to find the vaccine on the virus, some says that it will be found later than 6 months.
If they could test everyone and restrict people from other states and only allow them after a complete check up and if they can take precautions of that sort then they can open the business. Recently UFC put an event together and it was a success as they test each and everyone taking part in the event and one of the fighters tested positive along with his coaching staff and they quarantined them.

If precautions and testing can be done in a proper manner then they can restart the business knowing that everyone is safe and tested.
1759  Economy / Speculation / Re: Pure btc speculation post on: May 11, 2020, 09:24:07 PM
I guess this halving gonna be diferent, cause lot of people is knowing about it has stabilised on near 9k usd,  and wall street whales speak about btc. So i can also see a 3billion mcap grow... ..guests? Open til 24:00
So what happened after all the speculation, nothing much. I was expecting the price to go up for a while during the time of halving as there was interest from different sectors but the market went down a bit and nothing much happened and the price is still around $8700 even though it went down below $8400 for a brief moment. The growth is inevitable but it might take a bit longer than anticipated and it depends upon the economic situation globally.
1760  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: May 10, 2020, 11:58:43 PM
When trying to invest a certain project then its just normal for you to have that common step which is to research everything from Roadmap,WP and goes to the team behind the project.
The team behind the project is always important in my opinion and with my experience in the market i consider the team is more important and then economic viability of the project.

This is why ICO becomes shit after the year 2017 or in 1st quarter of 2018 due to lots of frauds and scam projects. Some are just good when doing their initial phase
and then later on they do abandon their project and leave their investors hanging on the air.
The investors always bear the loss, the developers and the team will have their profits and they do not care what happens to the investment. The reason i support regulation in the ICO market is to avoid scammers and frauds.

Some are having good concepts but it end up failure due to lack of support.
If there is a novel project then you will be able to attract angel investors.
