1781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: May 05, 2020, 04:01:38 PM
I certainly agree with you on that, Wilder is challenged here, he still believe he can beat Fury so that's interesting if we can see him knock down the guy who beat him twice, lol... I am sure this is a hell of a fight, just like the last 2 fights although it was never favored Wilder but a desperate man will show everything he got in this last fight.
I have a different opinion here, Wilder is not challenged but he is not yet ready to accept the defeat, there is a big difference Wink. Every fighter will have the confidence to beat anyone, but need to have the technical skills and a fight IQ when you are facing top competition and everyone know how to box but how you handle the situation during a fight determines the winner.
If Wilder can show a dimension he never showed that would be interesting.
1782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 05, 2020, 02:09:38 PM
Now every board is looking for more audience so applying new and unique ideas so hopefully this will work and attract more crowd the this can go through for many other boards as well and cricket could be more commercial and attractive like soccer and basketball with very less time.
There is no need to introduce more formats to get more commercial success as they have plenty of sponsors and the media is willing to pay any amount for broadcasting rights.

  • ICC Events - $1.98 billion
  • ECB- $1.56 billion
  • BCCI- $944 million
  • IPL- $2.55 billion
  • ACB- $920 million
These are the big players and they get the major share, these are not small amounts to get the broadcasting rights and these amounts are par with soccer broadcasting rights.
1783  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining: Halving will destroy the half of us. on: May 04, 2020, 11:56:34 PM
The halving wont really affect alot of miner because those small time miners are usually mining by setting up their equipment in third world country where the cost of electricity is not that high compared to Europe or US

They wont really get that much profit but they definitely wont shut down due to halving for sure
If anyone is able to relocate to a third world country to set up their equipment then you cannot call them a small time miner  Tongue. If you are mining with a few equipment you are not even expecting much profit in any country as electricity is not free even in third world countries, you are just happy running the full node.

With a single Antminer S9 you cannot make profit in US or Europe but with three Antminer S9 you can still make around a dollar a day Wink.
1784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Mayor Wants to Re-open Casinos. Thoughts? on: May 04, 2020, 11:11:17 PM
Given that the peak of the epidemic is already behind, I think this is a reasonable solution. It is worth a try. In the end, if there are any problems, then this solution can be undone. I think the business should start to work - with enhanced security measures, of course. Sooner or later it will have to be done. We must learn to work in new conditions.
In the US alone there are more than twenty thousand patients identified on a daily basis, i am not aware of situation in the rest of the states  but the situation in Las Vegas might be far better than the rest of the states in the US and if they close the boundaries and test and identify the affected people then they can open everything, if not they are taking risk that they will regret in the future.
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: What inspired you to buy BTC? on: May 04, 2020, 09:06:49 PM
Well before a decade most of them were not interested to buy bitcoin I feel the only reason could be to stay away from scammers if I am not wrong. People thought they are making fool... And most of them said they may get cheat if some Invest in this coin etc, etc...Now how come the popularity increased and also there were lots of ups and downs in price.
It is possible that majority did not understand the concept of a decentralized coin and it will take time for everyone to trust a decentralized coin and that is the reason it takes time for adoption by the general population and with two rallies in the price now the market is well documented in every financial media. The price is a major factor for majority of the investors that came later and now it is the most profitable asset in the last 5 years.
1786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 03, 2020, 10:58:27 PM
But in my opinion, there will still be a risk for doing this we can not see the enemy and it is airborne I don't like to be a skeptic and a killjoy for many that would like to watch UFC but for me, life is still more important all people should cooperate in this kind of times and set one mindset in not letting the virus spread.
The fighters and the promoter is taking a huge risk carrying on with the event and the only reason is because there is no sporting event right now globally and if the UFC is able to come up with a card and impress the dying sporting fans, they might get new fans for the sport of MMA and i think that is the plan for Dana White
1787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Charts you have to see before Halving on: May 03, 2020, 08:32:35 PM
Play safe out there, it's a dangerous economic climate for taking risks.  Although it should go without saying, the last halvings took place under very different circumstances, so it's even more difficult than normal to predict how this one is going to unfold.
The new kids in the market are expecting the same market situation like the previous halving and they are not even thinking about the present economic situation which is getting worse as long as the pandemic is not controlled. In many countries the market is shut for normal business and only the medical industry is functioning round the clock and these charts does not mean anything if the economic situation gets worse.

Well, they can always try what WWE had done and made it an online pay per view kind of thing or Dana White can always make money on Gambling as well
From What i understand the promoters cannot wage a bet, PPV is what they will be looking for and there is a guaranteed pay from ESPN for every show and hence they will not mind conducting the fights in empty stadiums because there is not much sporting events going on and people will be dying to see some sporting events and it might break some PPV records or atleast illegal streaming records  Grin.

Just made a couple of small bets.  Dominick Cruz to win via decision at 3.40 and Ferguson vs Gaethje to go over 2.5 rounds at 2.10.  Both are FJ odds.

Anyway..  Still haven't decided on the winner of the main event itself.  Sometimes I think it's Tony via submission at the fourth or fifth round, sometimes I think it's Gaethje via KO or TKO at prolly the third.  Dunno...  What do you guys think?
Tony Ferguson is a really unique fighter who has immense stamina who fights the fight round like he fought the first minute of the fight and can take a punch on the other hand Gaethje slows down as the fights goes to the second and third round and Tony always finds a way to win the fight. I am going with Tony because i want to see Tony and Khabib fight.
1789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: May 02, 2020, 10:33:44 PM
It must entail a lot of money for Wilder and Pulev to step aside and give way to let the Britons fight each other huh.IMHO, the way i see on his last fight against Ruiz, Joshua's confidence is still not there and making this fight with Fury is not a good idea at the moment. That would be history though but letting a less than 100% Joshua in a history fight is just like depriving boxing fanatics the maximum fun that a boxing fight could give us.

But this all depend on how the greedy promoters negotiate, if they think the Fury vs Joshua would generate huge revenue i think they would push for it.
It is a possibility that we could see Fury and Joshua fighting with the international travel restrictions and the uncertainty about when everything will be sorted it is a high possibility that  the fight would happen before the Wilder trilogy, Kubrat Pulev accepted the offer that he would step aside if he gets a good payment and if Wilder accepts that then we will see another one of the biggest fights in boxing.
1790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this period killed your desire or exited it on: May 02, 2020, 09:14:31 PM
I would be making reference to sport betting, we are in lock down period courtesy the novel corona virus pandemic.
For me I would want to see the beautiful sports that units many back again and we all can live to enjoy it
Everyone has plenty of time at hands and there is nothing to watch that is interesting other than watching movies and i am really tired sitting at home and just watching what is going on around my surrounding, i wanted to see things getting back to normal but it will take a long time to see soccer and other sports to resume but Giuseppe Conte said about resuming training on May 18 but i do not think it is the best decision and only time will tell .
1791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: May 01, 2020, 09:57:06 PM
Its not that ICC don't want this. But some cricket board has their eyes on short-term benefits, call it short sighted attitude. (ECB-BCCI)
The reason might be financial reasons and diverting the normal schedule for the Olympics which is financial not beneficial for the cricket boards and the ICC.

As far as i know football in the Olympic is not big thing per se because majority of the players are required to be under 23 age. if this happens with cricket then its not real deal IMO. Schedule and dividing groups are open to discussion, they are more than capable of handling this issue so its not a big deal
If cricket becomes an Olympic sport then we must expect these sort of restrictions , usually they never allowed professional athletes to compete but right now those restrictions are removed but still we expect there will be some sort of restrictions like football.

Watching the tape of Cejudo vs Moraes...  I think depending on which Cruz shows up, if it's a peak Cruz, he could just very well squeeze out a W via (split) decision here.  Cruz def has the technical skill and the cardio to stay away from Cejudo for 5 rounds.  I don't know what happened to Moraes starting at the second round...  Prolly got tired...?  Already?

It's 3.40 (FJ odds) for Cruz via decision...  I think it's a bet.
I like Dominick Cruz and his unorthodox style and the amount of energy he is spending moving around is huge and he is coming back after a long lay off due to injury, he proved earlier that there is no ring rust as he used to return after a long gap and win against top ranking fighters but this time my only doubt is his age as he is 35 years now and the time away will have an affect on his performance and if he looses i think he will retire. In the fight between Moraes and Cejudo, the first two rounds Moraes dominated the fight and his output was really high and that might swapped his energy but Cejudo started attacking hard in the last two minutes of the second round and took control of the fight.
1793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING ]: Fury vs Wilder III in Las Vegas on 18th July 2020 !!! on: April 30, 2020, 10:21:14 PM
If Wilder of Fury wants to earn more money, it is better to wait when all the lockdowns are ended and go to China. There, they can make some crazy freak fight. Like Mayweather vs 20-year old kickboxer fight, where first earned $9kk in 2:12 min. First 1-2 combination and the kid is on the ground. Imagine fight Wilder in his shiny suits vs Bob Sapp or Hong-man Choi. This fight would bring million of dollars.
The fight you are talking about took place in Tokyo Japan and not China, these are completely different countries  Tongue. They gave millions of dollars for Mayweather to fight a much smaller kick boxer and the Japanese promoters are known to have these fantasy bouts as the audience see them as pro wrestling and i highly doubt that they were able to recover the money through tickets sales or PPV views. The best place for boxing is always the UK or US because of the high gates they can get than the rest of the countries.

As important regarding some events like these and in getting back with sports betting, I think the safety of many was the most priority of most President for now, but if Dana White and Donald Trump are as you say are close there is still possibility that he would give in to White's request especially if there is money involve and surely enough because of the crisis right now Trump would surely want the money he can get regarding the budget of the government.
The reason i think is because Vince McMahon went ahead with his live drama Wwe in empty stadium and even though it is a scripted one they are in close proximity just like any combat sport and it all depends upon the general sentiment on the backlash if something goes wrong and if they allow a sporting event to conduct the fight then the rest of the sports managers and owners will push to restart their schedule in empty stadiums and it will be a big mess and i am sure they will take all these into account before giving the clearance.

There must be some kind of orb effect for Tony and Khabib that they are not destined to see each other in the ring, and if you would look at the records we can see that there are many fights that have been canceled so many times for some reason that I think we are used to this and if we would see another Tony and Khabib fight many would just say "HERE WE GO AGAIN!"
It is really unfortunate that we are not able to witness this great match up, this is the fifth time and there is no event that was cursed like this in the history of sports.
1795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: April 28, 2020, 11:25:41 PM
Because even T-20 format seems long to me when i look at from Olympic's perspective.

Normally one T-20 world cup takes around 28ish days to finish with 12-16 teams. now imagine you are trying to fit this event in 20 days event which is Olympics. to make matter worse let's say minimum 20 cricket teams participating in Olympics, seems very tight schedule to me, in the end players might want to suicide for sure.
If the ICC wants to accommodate cricket then they can and for the development of cricket this is the best option they have and yet they have not shown much interest, if they include cricket then they can follow the same path as football with qualification tournaments and 16 teams with a group stage of 4 group and then a knockout stage. Even if cricket is accepted i do not think that the top teams will send their best team to represent as it will clash with the regular schedule and at best they will send a second string team.
1796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: April 27, 2020, 11:37:45 PM
Did Dana White really have special power in doing such things? don't get me wrong I really love every fight to not be canceled but for the safety of all players and even the UFC's staff this pandemic should not be treated lightly, But if this is 100% a sure event then I think Trump is really into the economic venture of things amidst the threats of the COVID19.
Everyone love to see the fights and i really want to see everything going to normal but it is taking a longer period of time than expected, Dana White is having close relation with Trump and it is possible that he could get the permission but with the elections coming up i doubt he will risk his reputation while the rest of the sporting events are halted.

But what can I do if they would really let the UFC take flight into bringing a fight to the people that are hungry into betting sports again I am just sad because Khabib Nurmagomedov isn't the one fighting Tony Ferguson, but just a quick hunch I really think that Ferguson may win this fight.
Khabib and Tony is a wet dream for all the MMA fans for years and yet we are not able to watch the fight for some reason or the other, fifth time the fighters were ready but the virus was not ready to accommodate the fight  Roll Eyes.

his very impressive body movement, that makes Wilder to struggle hitting his target, seems like Fury has been the Kryptonite of Wilder.  Grin
The impressive footwork and body movements and weaving is the the biggest difference, you cannot find a fighter who moves like a lighter wight fighter with a huge frame, all of the fights Wilder had in the past were stationary targets and he was able to land the heavy punch but with Fury he was not able to land the decisive punch even though he was able to land in the first fight Fury was able to absorb that, the most interesting part of this fight for me is how Wilder will return after a loss.
1799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Crash game more risky ? on: April 23, 2020, 09:33:19 PM
I have been playing the traditional gambling games but i have observed that crash game is more risky than the other gambling games. I always feel more greedy while playing a crash game and this make me lose more money. I think i have lost more money in crash games than any other game.
The greed will always catch you in the end if you keep on gambling for a longer period of time be it any form of gambling and the best option is always to take a break every now and then rather than thinking about making money so easily  Tongue. There are many games available now and i started with the old dice and that is game i played most winning some and loosing are part of it.

UFC betting is back in the game as it looks like May 9th event is very interesting for prediction.
I will be happy to see a live event as there is nothing interesting going on other than the pandemic news but the problem is that can we expect the situation to be normal in the next three weeks as the graph is not showing any improvement and the number of death is still above two thousand per day in America and the expected mortality rate is three fold than the current situation.
