Dev, can you explain to people what's going on here. How long is people investments will be locked up in Buzz wallet without deposit and withdrawal to and from the exchange?
I think Dev teams that only work with Discord, and to a lesser extent, only work with Slack, really need to get community on them to post to BTT. After Discord, what next? Any good company has a PR team. It's an honor and a sign of a winning organization. Everyone knows that.

Is there any active dev for this coin? Is it possible to recompile the wallet taking less resources? I know VersionCoin is doing that now.

Received cool PROGROCK tokens, thanks dev!
Let's build great community around this concept. Have you thought about publish all mentioned bands?
Sure, I can do that. I'll post them to the list sometime soon.

My wallet shows all my coins in my Transaction list but not on the overview. I heard of random stake amount coins but never random function wallets.
Shows 90 connections to the network. Been up about 12 hours like this.

It's all in the advertising, all you need is Charlie Lee to get behind Growthcoin and it will go to the moon.
It's about an investing philosophy, not what current attitudes are about. Everyone is talking like they know what they are talking about and buying POS coins that go down to 4 sat with 15 BTC sell walls around them.

I thought bootstrap files were the blockchain, a huge file usually. That "bootstrap" file is the .conf file. I am still getting 0 movement with 9 connections present.
standard behavior of large coin holders to small coin holders.. it did not surprise
Seems like the plan is ... keep the current chain a secret until trade can be re-established with whomever has the coin at this point. Trade away. Release bootstrap for new chain. Perhaps I am wrong.... but why is the new bootstrap being withheld? Better yet -- why do I even need it? It should sync without it... but it doesn't Oh, I know - go to discord... right? Nope. Nope nope nope nope nope. yes, bootstrap is the blockchain, downloaded it without problems, synced wallet in less than 20 min, already staking on new chain enough with the FUD people. actually, it was all pretty clear on discord... they did it the more transparent way possible and people knew that exchanges would be closed before changing the chain. people had time to chose if they wanted to send coins to exchange or keep them on the wallet. there's a 25% tax to send from wallet to exchange. well, simple as that Coinexchange.io deposit and withdrawals are now online
good news would love to know more about the plans on adding the coin to topia heard about the 5 BTC fee they charge, but then this subject just fade away... Someone may be playing games on your team if the top dev isn't involved because that "bootstrap" file was/is a config file that does not link to an active download of the blockchain. This much user feedback isn't FUD and can't be wrong. I have restored/updated over 6 wallets. I know that things happen and people make mistakes but seen this happen again and again with information posted here and now on the official website.

You mean like solving blocks?
That would be something I think kids could understand the basics of but I was thinking more about POS wallets. They should also teach in high school you can trade with .25% fee instead of $6.

I can't find this coin on coinmarketcap? In fact all of coins you mentioned aren't worth to invest in. They will not high likely pump in the future, I am talking about +100M market cap and they are very risky to hold.
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/growthcoin/type growthcoin into google, it's the third hit. these are mostly old coins that have been around a while.

It would be interesting to see who the first teachers are to do this and if the media picks them up. I know small media outlets would as they pretty much cover anything.
POS Wallets could teach a lot about basic math even to elementary school kids. PiggyCoin in fact seems geared in that direction, it's like a Piggybank.

Growthcoin is the best proof of stake coin right now for several reasons.
1 It's not inflationary. Other coins give you 100% or more but they have huge sell walls now at 4 sat or less and don't look like they can go up. 2 It's cheap right now. It's down about from usual price range of around 30 to 60 sats. 3 It's on top as the result of testing around 10 major lower entry high percentage POS. Only Truck, RAIN, PIGGY, BOAT, WORM, and 808 have had consistent staking and meet the criteria of not being inflationary. 4 You can post high Sat coins as the wonder coins but these have a tendency to go down in value, not up.

When I call this buzzcoin.conf and put it in the Appdata folder the program doesn't run. What should it be titled?
only without buzzcoin.conf your wallet run ? Yes, but it's giving me the long time that isn't moving.

Here is the link to the new wallet and bootstrap download to sync up to the new chain on the fork. Make sure to back up your wallet.dat WALLET https://mega.nz/#!VV8Wgb6J!QNUJttS96jEyTdfzrekdbMLV1v2jR2pzlKWvzpRvyHs BOOTSTRAP https://mega.nz/#!qVohCLJb!GhJ6yqx193MZhIBs-jkewhJTUkS3m8LYdWktdDVvS_0 It would be helpful to call a new wallet something different than the old one, unless it's hardcoded somehow that you can't. Also, the bootstrap link isn't working now.

Being a big fan of progressive rock while growing up is attracting me to this project, I honestly like the concept it's the first time that I have discovered an altcoin specifically for progressive rock, will keep an eye on this thread for future updates. Goodluck and I hope everything works well, will love to see this project get bigger in months time Thanks. I hope to sponsor some bands now by giving them tokens. This will get them using WAVES and hopefully learn how to trade crypto.

Got spanish translation already? if not i can help
Yes, please take it.

Repost because getting WAVES addresses sent without question answered:
This Airdrop is worth 10,000 ProgRock Tokens!
I mentioned in the OP the names of six Progressive Rock bands: Yes, Genesis, ELP (Emerson, Lake and Palmer), King Crimson, Pink Floyd, Dream Theater
To qualify for this airdrop, send a PM to the Dev the names of five more bands that are considered Progressive Rock.
|
|

Nice project, I've listened a lot of good progressive rock back in the days. Is airdrop still active?
Good luck with this project!
Yes, Airdrop is still active for a long time.

Thanks everyone who chimed in. So this looks like the best explanation. Delete the contents of the Buzz folder in Appdata except wallet.dat "bootstrapfork" must mean the newest bootstrap file..... I've never seen a "node" that was a jpg file....if I open the .conf file that the new wallet makes (not all make them, is there a .conf file that needs to be pasted in here?)....do I put that link to a jpg in?
