The pos Mining is working because the official site is running down but the developer opens his account in the forum without answering a question😢

Mining is working, because the site is down? Seems unlogical to me.

As far as I understand the staking is based on ethereum contract and has nothing to do with the website.
Or do you mean the website where I can calculate the amount of staked POS coins?

Once the contract has been written it can't be cancelled by the author?  How many people have been getting their stakes lately?  I just got one, it's a good percentage compared to my balance, 14 new coins on 123 balance.

My monets stay in wallet v0.1.5.3 . But when swap?

Swap is voluntary not mandatory.   STRONGHANDS will still be tradable in the future.

He was asking when, not whether if it's mandatory.

I am not sure of the date end but it may be ongoing now.

Dear PascalCoin users,

New PascalCoin Build 3.0.1

Build 3.0.1 - 2018-05-07
- Deprecated use of OpenSSL v1.0 versions. Only allowed OpenSSL v1.1 versions
- JSON-RPC Added param "openssl" on "nodestatus" call. Will return OpenSSL library version as described in OpenSSL_version_num ( https://www.openssl.org/docs/man1.1.0/crypto/OPENSSL_VERSION_NUMBER.html )

Please note:
- Linux users: Old versions of PascalCoin are (by default) running OpenSSL v1.1, you don't need to upgrade if you're using last release build 3.0.
- Windows users: By default PascalCoin was using OpenSSL v1.0, currently deprecated, this is mandatory to UPGRADE in order to use OpenSSL v1.1

You will find source code on Github:
https://github.com/PascalCoin/PascalCoin/releases/tag/3.0.1

Binaries also at Github or at SourceForge:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/pascalcoin

Remember: Hard fork activation at block 210000, probably on Thursday, 31-May-18
Mandatory upgrade to Version 3 prior to block 210000

What happens if we haven't updated yet since we are past block 210000?

What block are we on now?

Early adopter but haven't been following much the last six months.  Can people periodically repost what is going on right now with this hardfork and new wallet such as we stand today, 6/2?

A lot going on with the Cryptopia delisting as Poloniex is not allowed in some US States, at least WA State where I am.  I am running build 2.1.2

How many do you need to start to stake every other day or so?

I see StrongHands swap as just a way to "burn" some tokens to make the price more valuable.  After all, SHMN sounds like StrongHands Master Node.   The coin does stake pretty well if you have enough, easier to stake than many coins, like Bitbeans.
1690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is bear mode good to the market? on: May 31, 2018, 09:55:14 PM
It should be obvious to everyone that you can get 10 to 50 % gains every week in crypto, regardless of the bear market.  Just look at the percentage gain in coinmarketcap.   The question is, how do you do that!

If the developer or team stays active, this is a great coin to get in now as the 900% is only the first year.

Mining is also free heat in the colder months.  Cost same per temperature unit to heat with electronics (miners, gpu, staking computers) as it does with electric heaters.

1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LSK] Lisk | Blockchain Application Platform for JavaScript Developers on: May 31, 2018, 01:33:15 AM
Lisk is a next-generation platform that allows for the development and distribution of Javascript based decentralized applications using an easy to use, fully featured ecosystem. Lisk Core 1.0.0 in development, to be released soon. Lisk Hub 0.7.0. New features include a detailed delegate has been released. Adoption on the rise as Lisk reaches over 200,000 wallet creations!

OK, here is something I would like to see if LISK can help.  Check out the ParaMind brainstorming software link below.  I have the code in JAVA.  I would like to know if LISK could help run it automatically and mint "coins" by solving blocks based on merging the brainstorms.  I know it's a lot to ask to check out the link but I need to start somewhere with this.

Yes, thank you Tranz for doing all the work and saving the coin.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is bear mode good to the market? on: May 30, 2018, 03:22:12 PM
You can only make money if you buy low and sell high.  How can you buy low without a bear market?

Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, the biggest crypto lovers in history, knew this when they put down Bitcoin.
1697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Verge potential or scam coin? on: May 30, 2018, 02:18:49 PM
Verge coin being 51% attacked the third time was doing the rounds on Reddit that got ruled out as being a FUD. Today, Verge rose in tandem with the crypto market as it registered flecks of green while being officially accepted as the only crypto as a payment by an e-commerce site. Moreover, Verge is hosting its first ever meetup in Amsterdam on June 9.

Shield (XSH) was in the this news because Verge took some of the Shield code to help with the attack that happened a day or two ago.  I invested in Shield and got out of Verge for many reasons and I bought it very early.

Shield was in the news in big feeds because Verge took some of its code to help with the attack that happened a day or two ago.
1699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Mining vs Direct Coin Purchase on: May 30, 2018, 02:03:29 PM
Get a bunch of older cheaper computers and stake coins such as Truckcoin, RAIN, VersionCoin, Healthyworm, Chess, 808, Compound, BUZZ, StackBit and Growthcoin.  They are high percent staking and low entry coins.  I have some ASIC miners also but they are barely profitable in summer months.  Staking is like mining but the entry fee is much lower.  They are both ways of circulating the blockchain of the coin which will always be needed in cryptocurrency.

You can then sell the stakes for more blue chip coins.

I love the idea of an old coin with 25% POS being supported by an active team.   Let's keep this thing working, I would love to ad it to my list of low entry high staking coins with good teams.

Be great to get on one more exchange.
