2662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Coin On PANCAKESWAP on: May 06, 2021, 07:10:59 PM
It's easy to list into a decentralized exchange that's why any shitcoin can enter. Decentralized exchanges such as Pancakeswap are flooded with scam coins and every day a rug pull is happening and for others, it is normal for them. From time to time I can see rants about new shitcoins losing their liquidity and devs running the funds. Scammers are taking advantage of a decentralized exchange and investors are risking for a quick buck. Those who didn't do any research about a project will surely lose money on those scam coins.
2663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feel Pressed Something while Gambling on: May 06, 2021, 06:27:46 PM
That image is just.. something else. Pretty sure most of us here will heed the call of nature when we can no longer hold it, even if we are in a winning position and stopping would just ruin the mood and the tempo. I'd rather lose some money in a gambling session rather than lose face and dignity because I shat my pants out of pressure. Well for this guy, what's dignity when compared to money, right? But yeah, I don't think this scenario happens very often. It's just to extreme that I don't think a lot of people will actually (unintentionally) do.
Maybe he's addicted in gambling or badly need the money or idk. Like you I rather lose some money rather than lose my dignity. I witnessed personally an incident like this. One night in our province I've watch people playing cards and there is one girl who peed on her shorts while playing. People talk about it the next day and have fun of her. But I also heard some telling it will be bad luck to her if she leave her position that's why she intentionally peed on her short.
This is a possibility, I thought that this guy was just too intoxicated to know what was really happening, however when I attended physical casinos in the past people that were playing slot machines never wanted to leave the one in which they were playing because they thought it was getting hot and that sooner or later it will pay up, maybe the person that inspired this thread simply did not wanted to leave the slot machine as he was expecting that it paid out and took the conscious decision to relive himself there regardless of what people may think of him.
If that gambler is on that kind of story, It's like the gambler is racing with luck. Will he be winning soon enough to avoid doing the embarrassing act or will he take the consequences of the situation.

If I am in that situation, I won't sacrifice my dignity for something that is unsure. Leaving out on a casino in that situation is surely embarrassing and will hinder you to go back to that casino because of the mess you did. I could simply go back to that machine if it is still unoccupied after I leave or I can just take the losses/profit and move on.
2664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HODL Strategy - Exchange Coins on: May 06, 2021, 05:38:14 PM
Coins created from exchange will perform well if the exchange is performing well and trying to lure more customers so its simple to find which exchange is going in the development stage and which coins are already reached that stage and some of them are over priced.
If you are referring BNB as over-priced, I do not agree with that. There are lots of potentials yet to be unveiled by binance hence we cannot assume that BNB is trading at over bought levels. I agree we may focus on exchange coins/tokens which are into development phase but I feel that would be more risky than what we can invest with binance/kucoin kind of already established exchanges.

I have been holding BNB and I am in plan to invest more into few of other exchange based coins and token. I may not rush this time but I am always looking for right opportunity to invest and hold for years.

I have the same thoughts about BNB, It is still not at its peak if we based on the potential of the Exchange and the actual usage of it. I just regret not bagging up BNB on its accumulation period. BNB could suffer some correction from time to time now but I believe that in the future it will go skyrocket. I am holding some BNB in my wallet for actual usage and also waiting for the dips to buy some.
2665  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: May 06, 2021, 04:34:19 PM
This slapping tournament really got me interested in it. Youtube recommends me one of the slapping tournament videos because I am watching UFC fights there. If this is categorized as a sport, Well it's pretty cool for me and I am having fun watching it. For others, this tournament is pretty brutal for them but UFC, Wrestling, and other martial arts sports are pretty brutal as well.

I have the same question, Is there any betting site catering to this kind of event/sport?
2666  Other / Archival / Re: Everyone is following the same strategy on: May 05, 2021, 11:49:28 PM
I don’t follow anyone’s strategy because that wont work for me, I’ve created my own trading strategy based on my own timeline so don’t ever think to follow any strategy, better to create your own and focus on that. Don’t get any pressure from anyones trading strategy, that is not good in long term.
Every strategy differs from person to person and I think telling people not to follow any strategy is not a bit of good advice. They can try other person strategies especially on the market we are having right now, If it work then it's fine. Using someone's strategy doesn't mean you need to stick with it. There are different strategies that apply to every market scenario and if you know many strategies, The confidence and the winning chance you have will rise.
2667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trillion dollar DOGE on: May 05, 2021, 11:05:50 PM
The immense power continues to grow, it's driving me crazy selling doge a month ago for $ 0.1 already made a huge profit back then but look now the price keeps increasing and unfortunately I don't have any more doge at the moment.
Imagine those who still hodls their doge from the accumulation phase, I'm pretty sure they got pretty nice profit from it. The question we are having right now is how long will this doge hype stay still? When the expected crash happens, I'm sure many lives will be affected by it due to this overpriced coin.

Trillion dollar marketcap for DOGE is for me pretty ambitious even if Elon Musk keeps shilling it.
2668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What really makes a cryptocurrency successful on: May 05, 2021, 10:37:12 PM
snip

So this makes me wonder what makes some projects instant success and gives them immediate acceptance from the cryptocurrency community
one of the most likely reasons is the current state of the market.  many investors dare to take risks because there is an opportunity for a pump to occur.  even for projects where the product is not clear, the whitepaper has not been completed, and only relies on airdrops to develop the community, it can cost more than 3 $.  this has happened a lot recently in the solana ecosystem.  The risk is quite large because recently scammers have started to exploit this situation to cheat.
I've seen many projects like this, Most of them are DeFi projects. There are many projects that easily got their hard cap and don't even have a whitepaper to defend the project. It's just this bull run that makes their investors think that they can potentially acquire good profit from it despite the risk of getting a rug on a project. Many investors gained a hefty profit and also lose plenty of money because of this projects.
2669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: May 05, 2021, 08:05:29 PM
I sold my coins for $ 0.1 and have no regrets. I didn't wait for the price to go up, somehow there was no particular confidence in this. I transferred my earnings to BNB, I think I made the right decision.

Until AME surge to more than $0.1  Grin.  Anyway good for you that you already sold your coins.  I am still waiting for the rest of the token to be distributed before moving it on exchange and start day trading AME.  I also think that the AME developer is afraid that bounty hunters will dump them once they receive their payment which can cause the market price to crash. So they decided to prolong the distribution so that the bounty participants won't dump them in one go.
Yes this is true, Most teams are afraid of their hired bounty hunters dumping their tokens causing the price to go down and the AME team thought that the solution is delaying payment. Well, this could be effective but there are other methods like scheduled distribution so that bounty hunters won't hate and make an issue regarding the project. Now bounty hunters are eagerly want to sell their AME because of what happened and just buy other cryptos to hodl.
2670  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Alien World - Blockchain game on: May 05, 2021, 07:16:42 PM
Gumagana naman bro kahit naka off yung game, Basically yung cooldown sa pag mine is na rereduce even naka off yung browser. I think yes, Medyo madali lang ang mechanics nitong laro nato and kahit sino pwede to pag laruan, May onting technicalities pero pwede na ikaw na mag set up sakanila nun or let them learn how to do it. Actually ginamit ko to as a gateway para gumamit at matuto ng crypto ang girlfriend and tropa ko, Habang mas tumatagal sila sa game ay mas maraming tanong ang narerecieve ko and mostly about na sa crypto and not the game which I am happy kasi yun talaga ang intention ko.
2671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: May 05, 2021, 06:46:10 PM
Everyone could really have their own feedback and opinion on such change but its true that not all players on Roobet are basically came from into this forum but rather in the outside of this place.

Somehow there are still handful numbers which do came into this forum which do play out on the site and majority of them do really mind off about privacy and once this had been changed and

currently been asking out some KYC then that would really be a big issue for their part even not to others but its up to personal choice.

Many think that since they are using cryptocurrency they should be anonymoud but for what laws implementing the legit site sometimes force to comply so that they will not penalize by the government thats why we always say to select reputable site since if they require something like this we will not be worried about our personal data.
Even if it is a reputable site, A data leak is possible. Even facebook experienced data leaks that give them a very big issue. Mandatory KYC is a major consequence that is needed to be passed by the casino team because of the license they are having but at least they could announce it to the public and let gamblers withdraw their funds before they force players to submit KYC. I'm sure that not all big players don't want to sacrifice their privacy.
2672  Other / Archival / Re: Yobit fake trade history on: May 04, 2021, 11:30:47 PM
Everything that you will read here is negative about yobit since they leave a pretty bad impression in this forum and too many allegations/issues on the internet that haven't been solved. But the trades you indicated are possible if yobit is not mentioned. There are better exchanges right now and as of now, I can't really suggest you using yobit because of the risks especially if you are holding a huge amount of assets.
2673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: May 04, 2021, 10:32:29 PM
Those who make a lot of money legally would think twice before rigging a game. That's why only low level games are rigged sometimes nowadays, but rigging high level games doesn't make any sense. Honesty has become profitable, and that's a very good thing.
VisMin Cup and the leage behind it isn't that low level kind of game. It's just that the management is full of corruption, that's why there is a rigging happening. Honesty is profitable but it isn't as profitable as dishonesty and corruption, the money that you get from it is really something.
Not only the management but also some players are choosing to take the risk and rig the game because they've seen money in their front. That's why even if the league isn't that low level, there are some players that have been taken due to greed and thought of the additional money that they shall receive in exchange of their pride and dignity as a professional player.
The players just chose to end their career early. I hope those who are asked to rig the game knows that the game they are participating in has a possible underground betting between someone or organizations and it could be pretty big bets giving the fact that the game is getting rigged. Being blinded by money is one of the downfalls of many athletes, Many careers have been thorned because of the involvement of money in a game.
2674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - June 6 on: May 04, 2021, 10:11:36 PM
Lol, the odd is so bad. It is 1.04 currently for Floyd, so when you bet $100 you will only get $4.
I'd rather play slots Grin
Your chances of loosing money in slots are higher than betting on Floyd - Paul fight Cheesy 4 bucks is always a 4 bucks.

Maybe that sounds true,  but this is gambling, so we will never know the outcome. Rig games even happening in any sports, exhibition fights should not be an exemption. For me, I would not take that 4% win betting on Mayweather, that doesn't look good for me, too big to risk for a small percent of win, I better bet on crypto as the market is very volatile now.
We could assume that those who bet on Floyd think that this fight is free money for them, I'm sure someone will put millions on Floyd and those who bet on Logal Paul are just hoping to get very lucky on the day of the fight. This is still betting, The risk is unavoidable.  Betting on crypto has a different scope I think.
2675  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you stick to your trading plans on: May 03, 2021, 09:13:08 PM
I somewhat having back up plans as well based on the possible assessment I have in my mind but if still things do not work out, I need to hang up a bit to strategize on the spot or take a rest for a while to assess what I am supposed to do.
Backup plan is something, I'm not working on right now but it is in my plan for a very long period of time. This is because of I am confident about my primary plan because I have tested it for multiple times and only after many trail run, I am entering into a real market so it is obvious for me to be having only one trading plan.

After lots of experience in crypto trading for years, nowadays I am simply following all my plans as I never deviate any of my predetermined steps. Still I need to admit that I have breached all my trading plans in my beginning days but over the experience sticking with plans become a practice.
You should have at least an idea of what you need to do or to react if you experience such situations. A backup plan could be the one that can save your primary plan if it failed but it doesn't necessarily mean you need one on every trade, there is someone who can do something on the spot. But it is always better to be ready when the situation comes.
2676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Dogecoin overpriced? on: May 03, 2021, 08:30:54 PM
I'm surprised to see an abandoned coin like Dogecoin surging in price like crazy. People are overestimating Dogecoin without realizing that it was never meant to be taken seriously. The huge supply of DOGE in circulation, along with abandoned development and innovation, tells me that it should be less valuable than what it is right now (please correct me if I'm wrong).

What are your thoughts? Do you think Dogecoin is overpriced? If not, why? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

Few years ago I had 500k dogecoins, I sold them, because I diddnt see some developing project and thought that price was true! Now I think we all see good marketing, someday it will ends!
Unfortunately yes, Doge's growth will end as quickly as it started. But when there is increased excitement around this coin, there is an opportunity to conduct successful transactions and fix profits. The main thing to remember about fixation profits. I would never risk holding this coin for a long time)
Doge price today is really crazy, No one of us really assumes that DOGE will be valued at a crazy high price today given the status of the coin. The only thing I can assume now is DOGE will crash as fast as it pumps. I'm happy for those who profited from DOGE and giving good luck to those who still want to buy DOGE at the current price today. This meme is driving me out crazy.
2677  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Alien World - Blockchain game on: May 03, 2021, 07:23:01 PM

Umay.
It depends sayo bro if anong tool ang gamit mo and saan ka nag mimine. Mine is TLM build and around 50mins - 80 mins ang cooldown ko each mine based sa lugar ko na palagi ko tinatambayan. 3 wax lang ang nakastake saakin and for me sapat na yun at di ako nakakakuha ng cpu error since nung nakaraan.

2678  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will be the most commonly USED crypto currency in the future? on: May 02, 2021, 10:41:45 PM
Bitcoin of course. But if we talk about altcoins I think for now my guess is ETH, BNB, and some stable tokens. These tokens have their own strengths and merits if we compare them to each other through these is the tokens I think that will have the most transactions in the crypto space.  ETH and BNB have good smart chain capabilities which I think they can be the ones who will have the most used and the stable coin which is regularly used by traders and crypto users to avoid volatility.
2679  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Alien World - Blockchain game on: May 02, 2021, 10:02:22 PM
<snip>
Tas isang linggo nang nakaflagged yung account ko :> Reason is nag mine ng more than 12 hours haha.

I mean pwede itransfer sa ibang account or ibenta sa marketplace?

Regarding sa CPU errors is I think bug yun kasi sobrang daming nagkaerror and maiba iba ang CPU used each refresh by that time na nag ka error. But today It's ok na.
2680  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You could die from trading. on: May 02, 2021, 09:08:32 PM
I'd never heard that someone die because of trading, what I mostly heard is from gambling and winning from the lottery.

Of course, it is very important to have a healthy lifestyle but that could be a big challenge these days because we are surrounded by an unhealthy environment, even the food we ate and water to drink are not healthy anymore. As the development continues, the more our lives become risky and we can die at any time even just doing less stressful job.

- Death here is probably suicides, trading is one job that eliminates a lot of investors every day, I don't know how this is the case in crypto trading but trading in the stock market for some years, investor bankruptcy rate is relatively high and has to settle their life by death. In the future, some investors may also reduce their lifespan due to some of the unhealthy activities here, most of whom identify trading as a full-time job, they are very stressed and ignore the biological states of the body, accumulating over time will be an underlying disaster that destroys and kills us

One example

--> https://www.forbes.com/sites/sergeiklebnikov/2020/06/17/20-year-old-robinhood-customer-dies-by-suicide-after-seeing-a-730000-negative-balance/

This is the feeling when someone losses a lot or all of his assets. But this incident is clearly the fault of Robinhood.

This is an example.

Mental health should also be considered. I'm sure there are many crypto traders who go bankrupt because of their trading and some of it puts all of their assets in the market, Without proper mental health could cause this kind of incident. The physical health issue is common on an adult whatever the job you have. Smoking, Drinking, not having proper sleep, and other non-healthy activities exist in different people and I think a trader who has these unhealthy activities is on their own choice and knows the risk in their lives. A good mental health is what we traders need.
