2661  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What kind of service/business would you create if you had funding and.... on: January 27, 2017, 10:52:02 PM
i will make a business related to food, drinks, clothing and property because all of this included unlimited human needs and must be fulfilled (economics lesson "primary requirement"). i also thinking to make my hobby into a business
That is nice but the problem is most people want privacy and by buying physical objects you are exposing yourself to lose some of your anonymity.
you don't have to go full anonymous all the time lol .
be yourself , show your creativity to the world and show your own face shouldn't be a problem.
it was what geeks do all the time in front of computer without having communication enough , it feels like inhuman sometimes. i have a plan to open an offline store that accept bitcoin however so goodluck.
The problem is some people end up mixing their private lives and their public lives and that is the way they get busted, if you use by mistake funds that were supposed to maintain your anonymity and then you link your name by mistake then everything you have bought can be linked back to you.
as long as you running a legitimate business why you should hiding behind the anonimity?
i don't think it wasn't a bad i dea to create an offline store that accept bitcoin.
the idea itself is not as unique as a lot of merchants out there , but at least we can make a contribution to bitcoin development.
Persons have different wants, if you do something legal then you don’t have a reason to hide your actions but some will like that privacy anyway especially since the blockchain is public and can be seen by anyone, for example someone may buy access to a porn site and they don’t want that linked back to them.
2662  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: January 20, 2017, 07:29:11 AM
No one controls bitcoin directly, there is no central authority, in a way everyone that is part of bitcoin has a small amount of control, obviously the developers, the miners and the whales holds the most influence but we also have some small influence.
2663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: January 20, 2017, 07:24:02 AM
Private banks might get involved into it but I dont see it becoming a success. Why would you put your BTC in a bank in the first place? May b for the interests and interest rates. If it is secure then I might give it a shot but there's a long way for that to happen. I dont see any banks showing interest as of yet. They might take a couple of years for BTC to become mainstream and then there might be this possibility.
Don’t underestimate how tricky banks can be, I think they are going to try to pull off the same scam they have always done, they will state they could secure your coins better than you and if they offer interest rates you can be sure there are going to enough fools that are going to fall for it.
2664  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: January 20, 2017, 07:16:12 AM
Those people just want other bitcoin holders to get panic and start selling their bitcoins so that they can buy it much cheaper. Those who spread rumours about bitcoins know the original potential of bitcoins. They know there are lots of new traders who get panic often and sell bitcoins quickly. Bitcoin has crossed lots of criticism successfully. So its better to avoid paying attention to such stupid posts.
yes i also think that it can be the main reason, actually these people want to buy bitcoin in a lower price and therefore they are spreading such kind of news in the market so that people can start panic selling and the price fell down.and they can get chance to purchase bitcoin in a low price.
Yes I think also why other people keep saying bitcoin is dead to get panic and sell it their bitcoin . So these buy bitcoin price with low price. Many news that bitcoin. going die or become dead but its not true. I think also the founder of other altcoin so if the people sell their bitcoin and the bitcoin is dead . they have a chance one of altcoin will become like bitcoin. That's my opinion only correct me if I'm wrong. Bitcoin is become more powerful and more people trust in bitcoin and look the price of bitcoin now its $800++ . So don't be panic . buy more bitcoins to earn more money.
There is also the possibility that some of the people that bought at the peak on the price got burned and now they want bitcoin to crash, so instead of getting over it they are just butt hurt.
2665  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I have about 50$ where to invest ? on: January 20, 2017, 07:12:46 AM
Hello;

I'm new in bitcoin and like to start investing on it .. I have about 50$ and want a good company to invest on it ..

I made some searches but don't know where to start ..

Can anyone help me ?!

Thanks alot
50 dollars is not really much, if you are willing to up your investment as time passes on then you could use those 50 to begin to familiarize yourself with the bitcoin economy but if that is everything you want to invest I would suggest you to wait and raise more capital.

2667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: January 19, 2017, 05:31:11 AM
This would take away from anonymity, but may help the overall ecosystem because existing members may be influenced into moving some of their funds into BTC accounts. Also, what would happen if the bank ran full nodes? Offered BTC debit cards, credit cards, and loans?
Of course not, that will only contribute to help banks to monitor us and other bitcoin users by allowing them to store your coins  and I will add doing that is completely opposite to what bitcoin is about.
2668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 19, 2017, 05:25:06 AM
With the start of just few earnings actually have my bitcoins on my wallet, but i dont saved it for now because im enjoying my earnings and I invest more so that i can have lots of bitcoins on my wallet and for that i have my savings already.

Is that an offline wallet? Remember to be careful to where you will those lovely coins. Some online wallet website just come and go. I suggest you look for a better one with a good trust rating. Although they put a great transaction fees, still if they manage to their jobs it will be okay.
Yeah there are some shady people which could create a new online wallet only to try to make an exit scam besides you also need to protect yourself from phishing attacks made by hackers.
2669  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: January 19, 2017, 05:22:17 AM
Because they want to spread fear among the users of bitcoin, and then when the price drops buy at a lower price and obtain profits after there is a rise on price.
Sadly some of our brothers and sisters buy the story, this fudders should not exist in the first place, they are just making bitcoin look bad. Nowadays, we must be smart and read relevant information that would affect bitcoin's future.
That is why we must believe in bitcoin and not only to invest trying to obtain some profits that way we will not be victims of those spreading those false rumors regarding bitcoin.
2670  Economy / Speculation / Re: $200 is on the way on: January 19, 2017, 05:20:30 AM
Haha no way, if it does then we are all in trouble, no way can it drop that low and if it does it could only happen in the next few months.  I think we will be back up to the $900 mark and stay there for at least Q1.

Indeed! If btc go down to $200, many crypto fan will be dismayed and eventually stop supporting Bitcoin.  Then Bitcoin have to start all over again.  But I think Bitcoin will recover soon.  I am seeing happy whales at this moment Tongue.  Then when their accumulating stage is done, you will see how the price go up again.

The question is does 200$ will be happen for real? I really don't think it will happen because the community won't allow it to be happen instead become more aggresive to patronize to use the purpose of bitcoin in the community and for sure more invertors will come in too.
I think $200 per bitcoin is not happen this 2017 . yes it possible to happen. But as of now I think 10years from noe it will happen . I hope bitcoin will increase the price at $1500- $2000 per bitcoin. I don't want to decrease the price . look the bitcoin price $800+ - $900+ . and I think many people invest again in bitcoin so the price is continuously pumping. So what are you waiting for ? Buy more bitcoin now!
200 dollar per bitcoin is not going to happen again unless someone finds a huge hole in the code that allows someone to exploit a vulnerability and that is very unlikely.

2672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin #1 in Top 8 Tech Trends for 2017 on: January 14, 2017, 05:00:35 AM
In a new article by Lifehacks.org , Bitcoins has been mentioned as #1 in the top 8 tech trends for 2017.

"Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology continue to be a growing trend, steadily gaining popularity and usage worldwide. Like any currency, you need a place to store it – and where do you store your coins? Well, usually in your bank or wallet, and that’s just the case with the Bitcoin". Details : http://www.lifehack.org/521749/top-8-tech-trends-for-2017

This is great, it means that bitcoin is being talked about, even if not a lot of persons have any yet, this could be the beginning of mass adoption or at least I hope so.
2673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you store your bitcoins? on: January 14, 2017, 04:58:49 AM
I don't have much bitcoin right now, that is why I don't mind using an online wallet but as soon I get a significant amount of bitcoin for me then I’m going to switch to a desktop wallet.

If chinese dudes will lose their interest in BTC totally, what will happen?
It make the difference for You, if the exchange rate will go to this level in 2 weeks or 2 months?
They are not going to lose interest that quickly unless china banned bitcoin and even then it is not a sure thing because the miners might decide to not care.

I will probably create a casino with different games than the ones being offered right now, that way your casino will get recognition by being different than other casinos.
2677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC ever reach 1000 again? on: January 12, 2017, 05:27:40 AM
Long time lurker, first time poster. I made a very silly mistake of buying coin at $1160. I use bank transfer which takes days to process, so there was nothing I could do when the collapse started just 2 hours after my purchase. I've also had a fair bit of coin that I bought at 800 months ago. When the price began to dip under 1000, I thought I could just sell the coin I bought for 800 to break even. But I held on expecting a recovery. And now we're at 780. There was a lot of hype on this board which certainly impelled me to buy. But I'm starting to think BTC is unrecoverable at this point. I don't see a rebound. I don't mind holding onto my coins for another 6 months, but if it's just going to drop to 600 and stay there for another 2 years then I might as well sell now. What do you guys think?
It is your money so do whatever you want with your money, the problem was not with bitcoin but with your strategy, to buy in the top of a bubble is a mistake that is the moment to sell, when the price reached 1100 holders of bitcoin sold because they had bought at the 500 or the 600 mark.
2678  Economy / Speculation / Re: 780 broken.. 500 .. maybe even 220-240 again... ? on: January 12, 2017, 05:24:13 AM
Get some  buying ready around 220-240.. ?! :S  not looking good boys.
I don't think we are going to see those prices again but if we do, I have my cash ready to exchange it for bitcoin, I was not part of the bitcoin world when those prices were real but now that I’m here I will be ready if it happens.
2679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did you begin using Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2017, 05:16:14 AM
Funny enough I've been around a long time, but haven't been very active on the forums was mainly a lurker but since Bitcoin started rallying up to 1k again crypto has been on my radar again.
The majority of users have being using bitcoin for a much longer time than in the forum and that is the case even for me,since bitcoin.org was the official site and since there are many forums sites out there with all the crypto currencies i did not really bother to come over here in the beginning but later on i found that the majority of the new coins have an ANN thread here and so is the reason i created an account here just to keep up with the new coins and their debates and to find out whether it is legitimate before investing in it.
I suppose that is true for most users since it does not make a lot of sense to join the forum before you begin to use bitcoin in some way, I also lurked the forum a little while before I joined the forum and tried to absorb as much information as possible.
2680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: January 12, 2017, 05:11:54 AM
I could say that it gets slower and slower, The other day, it took me few hours to receive my payment, and it is not like that before, it's taking too long now... Today, I send at around 2:00 PM Philippines time, and until now, it is still unconfirmed in the blockchain, I pay .0005 for the transaction fee and it is almost the same as paying small amount for it...  Smiley But it's okay, I'll just wait for it patiently, since I can't do anything to make it faster...  Smiley
There does not seem to be a huge difference between the smaller fees, that is why I send a small fee instead of a bigger one, besides I don't need the confirmation to be fast, as long as I get the confirmation is fine by me.
