2661  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Protect your private key to keep it safe on: September 20, 2018, 06:43:59 PM
I suggest to the OP to change his post a little as the beginners will think it is ok to trust their private keys to reputable websites which is also not a good idea, you just mentioned that fake websites are the ones who are trying to steal your private key from you when in fact other websites are doing it from its users. Let us just take a note or make this a rule to remember that private keys are by no means meant to be shared by but it is meant to be kept and the only way you will use it is when you are trouble retrieving your own wallet.
2662  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-18]'Wild West' Bitcoin 'should be regulated' [BBC] on: September 20, 2018, 05:52:36 PM
This shouldn't be in question really, the way to move forward is to have the whole market regulated already as it is the only way the government will agree to such assets being bought and sold around their country. Sure you will lose total anonymity when a regulated market is in full effect but the pros still outweighs the cons, a regulated market will surely only circulate legit tokens and the scam coins will be left to dust making the money of investors be protected from any kind of fraud, while the government at the same time will gain a substantial amount of tax collection from the market as no one will now there to evade their taxes via the cryptocurrency market.
2663  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ PlayBitcoinGames.com ♠ ♣ ♦ ♥ Casino with 27 Unique Games and Promotions! on: September 20, 2018, 05:05:52 PM
I played fairly. Show me any rule I’ve broken. Just because your site sucks and is easily won against is not the players fault, only the sites fault
It would be better if you open up your own scam accusation thread against PlayBitcoinGames as throwing up some accusations without proof is really not good with your image especially you as an untrusted member of the community your reputation won't be good as no one will believe a red tagged member. If you really want to claim the withdrawals you they allegedly stole then you must simply prove it to switch a DT member on your side of the story.
2664  Other / Meta / Re: Fair or not fair about decreasing rank in bitcointalk on: September 20, 2018, 04:08:28 PM
Come on bro, its just one merit to take your old rank back and you are whining out here as if theymos has given you a merit requirement the same as a Legendary member would have. Hasn't it come to your attention that on your 196+ days of being "active" in the forum you still haven't received even just one merit? It is just a simple way to know that you are not posting quality posts here in the forum and if you really want to become a Jr. Member again you must change it as it is the only way you can rank up now.
2665  Economy / Speculation / Re: I personally think bitcoin is bullish right now. on: September 19, 2018, 08:28:38 PM
I don't agree with any of you, Because we can not say that we are still in bear market anymore. We reach lowest limit (floor) before almoust two months if i remember corectly, when the price reached about $ 5,800, and after that price never fell below that mark.Of course I also do not think that it has now begun Bull market , because price just fluctuates between 6000$ and 7000$.
I am with zazarb with this one BTC is neither Bearish or Bullish as it is in fact consolidating in this levels, and every time there is a price rally it will correct back to these levels around the 6,000$ area and every time it do so it will repeat the cycle of this price rallies. Another thing to note at is the price consolidation is getting narrower meaning its price range is getting smaller which is signaling for either a breakdown or break out in the near future.
2666  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin tax value on: September 19, 2018, 07:37:41 PM
It is not inevitable but Bitcoin tax is already applied in most of the nations that Bitcoin is legal but regarding the tax percentage then it will depend of what country you belong like in Germany is free of tax, In Japan its 15 to 55% and in France its 19%. I don't know how much in other countries but you may search the google including on how these government applied their Bitcoin tax to the users.
There is no such thing as "Bitcoin Tax" as the only way of identifying what kind of tax your Bitcoin earnings are is the way you earn it and that involves taxes ranging from Capital Gain tax to Income tax, some countries even subject there taxes to VAT for customers paying in cryptocurrency in goods and services. And to correct you, Germany has not completely exempted the tax burden in their country, they only exempt the consumption tax from trading cryptocurrencies as they find it invalid for the field, other taxes still apply in trading such as capital gains tax, you can find out more in this article.
2667  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: My phonenumber is blocked due to circumstances: no access to my wallet on: September 19, 2018, 08:13:07 AM
Are you talking about 2fa verification on your wallet? Most likely you are using a 3rd party wallet provider and 2fa for them could either be via text or via email response which either of the two. Some 3rd party wallet providers offer you a chance to choose either one of the options if the main one isn't accessible anymore, but if your 3rd party wallet provider has no option like that you can always try to contact them on your own with their provided contact numbers and if ever their telephone number if they have one.
2668  Economy / Gambling / Re: MakeMy.Bet - Bitcoin eSport Betting | Double Your Deposit | Fast Withdrawal on: September 19, 2018, 06:07:56 AM
KYC requirement for a new gambling site? No thanks I'll noy be giving away my information just to play in your gambling site as there are a lot of well reputed gambling sites out there that don't require you to show any kind of personal information. The only thing I can commend is that they have required the KYC outright unlike other gambling sites where they will ask you KYC as a requirement for your withdrawal. But in general a KYC requirement is really not appealing to a lot of people in the crypto gambling industry.
2669  Economy / Economics / Re: China-Africa Cooperation and Lack of National Ideology of African Leaders on: September 18, 2018, 08:07:12 PM
One thing that I have learned from news about China is never ever be in debt to the Chinese Government. They are known for targeting poor countries in which they let them borrow large sums of money with a ridiculous interest which they can never pay and the catch is the collateral is their own natural resources, this is what they did to Sri Lanka and hopefully African countries don't follow. Just like what OP said there is another way to rise up and loaning out money from abusive countries is not one of them
2670  Other / Meta / Re: Is the new rule (1 Merit for Jr. Member) already paying off? on: September 18, 2018, 07:22:34 PM
For example, if a person gave the birth to 10 or 20 or 30 Jr.Members can starts to be suspicious!
o_e_l_e_o is chasing those abusers.
Still hard to connect which account owns what account/s especially if the account farmer is cautious on sending out merits to their own farmed accounts. Right now just by looking at the recent merit page you will see a lot of members handing out 1 merit consecutively to different users (who just became Jr. Members) but if you look at the post it is either in a different language (which is hard to judge the quality of the post) or somewhat a worthy post for one merit. But the thing that surprises me is these accounts who have received 1 merit are mostly newbie members who just became Jr. Members with that one merit. Which tells me that they are just receiving merits just to rank up to a rank where they can wear a signature again.
2671  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-17] John Mcafee: Decentralized Exchanges Will Trigger ‘Largest Economi on: September 18, 2018, 05:46:47 PM
For his statement two work I think he is under the impression of one he thinks that the majority of the governments of each country will allow decentralized exchanges to dominate the market and two is that majority of the population will become investors/traders in the cryptocurrency exchanges both of which is impossible to happen. Investing has been long made available to us yet still a small portion of the population only invest in assets. Also the government won't let the market be dominated by a decentralized exchange as they know a lot of security risk will happen not to mention a spike of criminal activity might happen more often.
2672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Google Translate, what is wrong when I can not use fluent English on: September 18, 2018, 04:38:49 PM
Any kind of translation tool is bad even the ones from Google as it fails to make your sentence construction right it only translates your language to English word for word but it doesn't adjust their positions or correct the grammar of what you are trying to say making your translated text hard to understand to other people. Any incomprehensible post brought by the translation tool is really not contributing anything to the forum and members would more than likely take time to understand what you are saying which most of them fail to do so and they are not the ones to be blamed at it.
2673  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Some countries where Bitcoin is legal, illegal or neutral! on: September 18, 2018, 02:35:27 PM
We cannot really confirm that your post is 100% accurate as some countries are still questionable when it comes to the legality of cryptocurrencyu especially Russia and China. If you will look at the Alexa rankings of popular Bitcoin faucets you will always see that Russia is in the top 3 visitors of that website, which means that this websites are not blocked by the Russian government, their citizens can even use cryptocurrencies freely without being apprehended by the government. In China you will see another point where two of the top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges are operating inside China namely OKcoin and Huobi, now if cryptocurrencies are illegal in this country why are we seeing companies like this operating freely in that country?
2674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: September 17, 2018, 06:39:19 PM
Why??? Three months is really a short time to hype a fight up I remembered there first bout Mayweather hyped it up for more than a year before the official fight even happen. This might be his early move to hype things up between him and another boxer and this is there thing to pump the prices up which he also did between him and Connor McGregor. Nothing is official yet and Manny Pacquiao has not yet agreed to any kind of terms (Mayweather shouting up dates of fights is not counted as an official announcement) or signed any kinds of contracts about the fight.
2675  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're all Schrödinger's cats in the short term on: September 17, 2018, 05:33:27 PM
Fundamental and Technical Analysis still come firmly under speculation. Anything that is not based on fact is still speculating even if it is more of a calculated speculation than something purely borne out of instinct or hope.
Alright to some extent I can agree with you that technical analysis is somehow speculation but Fundamental analysis cannot be considered as speculation, FA is really a means of finding a hidden value of an asset which is covered with its market price. For example if a stock's Fair Value is 100$ and its current market value is 50$ just by buying it at 50$ you have the potential upside of 100% as it has the possibility of doubling your money based on its fair value which is computed to their financial performance, so you can technically call FA as basing it on factual data which is really not a mere speculation.
2676  Economy / Speculation / Re: We're all Schrödinger's cats in the short term on: September 16, 2018, 07:47:25 PM
OP I think you might just be complicating the word "Speculation" which is funny because you have posted this topic in the speculation section of the forum. You are correct because a lot of people are like you which are merely speculating that BTC will still go up in the future as they really trust it will but they don't back it up with either Fundamental or Technical Analysis of their own. They just rely that gut feeling they are having that BTC (or whatever they are holding) will still go up.
2677  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Canelo vs. GGG 2 Discussion Thread, WHO YOU GOT? on: September 16, 2018, 05:43:52 PM
Clearly a robbery and a lot of people in one of the Facebook group I am part of sees it the way I see it, they are saying that it is pure BS that GGG should still be the champion. Harold Lederman even gave majority of the rounds to Golovkin and I am on his side there are many instances where Canelo got shook with the power punches GGG have landed not to mention Golovkin made it look like he is the counter puncher between them. Golovkin clearly didn't deserve his first loss and he didn't deserve to lose his championship belts either.
2678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: con a ransomeware maker on: September 16, 2018, 04:31:44 PM
Even if they gave you a decryption key there is no guarantee that your computer is really clean from any kind of malware, virus, or malicious software left by the ransomware. They might still be monitoring your computer after your device has been unlock in order to steal more from you. You should consider your computer good as gone and if somehow you have retrieved some files from your device you should assume that it is compromised by the ransomware. The only way to retrieve your files is if you have back up your computer before the attack even happened.
2679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Guidelines, how to spot a scam ICO & report effectively. ✔ on: September 16, 2018, 02:46:01 PM
You have a very nice guide going and I have one suggestion that you might want to add in your post. You should also add how their airdrops are ran as an indicator. Usually this scam ICOs also take advantage of people who are aiming to have their tokens for "free" but mostly they are being lured in their trap. Some of their trap consists of asking for their private keys, having some kind of donation in order to "verify that its their wallet", and even some kind of KYC requirement before they send the tokens but what really is happening is they are stealing from you.
2680  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-09-14] Two-Thirds of Cryptocurrency Investors Want to be Paid in Bitcoin on: September 16, 2018, 12:20:59 PM
And how would that be? let's imagine the case from last year. Let's give an example: The person Z works in an exchange and earns 0.1 btc per month and as the price of btc is in the  $18000 so the person has a good salary at the end of the month, but then the bitcoin price drops to $6000, so now person Z has little salary. Is it really going to work? will it be that paying people in btc will be a good option?
I don't think that's how salary works. If they said they are "willing to receive their salary based on cryptocurrency" what they meant is that they want to receive their salary in cryptocurrency based on its dollar equivalent. So if their bi-weekly salary is 600$ they still will receive 600$ worth of salary based on BTC nothing more, nothing less. The only problem here is their cryptocurrency based salary will be subject to volatility which would really affect their wage both positively or negatively depending where the prices go.
