1721  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Award Coin - Plagiarized Whitepaper/ FAKE CEO on: June 16, 2019, 04:55:39 PM

Done and supported, forgot to add a flag on this guy since I've been looking for Award Coin's account and what it looks like to me is that he just just the campaign manager for it. Thank you for creating the flag btw.
1722  Economy / Scam Accusations / Award Coin - Plagiarized Whitepaper/ FAKE CEO on: June 16, 2019, 03:28:01 PM
What happened:: AwardCoin have blatantly plagiarized multiple sources found in the internet, some of the content doesn't even originate from other whitepapers but straight-out websites just found in Google's search engine. Their CEO's profile (including the name) appears to be stolen from an Account profile in a networking website.

Scammers Profile Link: Lokomotiff

Reference Link:

ANN thread [Archived]
Website [Archived]
Whitepaper [Archived]

Additional Notes:

Note # 1 : Plagiarized Intro from another whitepaper
Since their whitepaper is on a image format I have to manually search some areas of the page and the first I looked at is their intro for their ICO and instantly I got a hit. Their introduction came from MetaHash's Whitepaper.

Note # 2 : Plagiarized Content from a Website (Even Examples are directly copied)
Another plagiarism found is when they have copied the content of Crowdsignal's article, they even use the same example for both subjects.

Article's examples

Examples directly copied.....

Note # 3 : Fake CEO
The project's CEO is also fake, from what I discovered the "Syed Khalid Hussain Shah" (If that's even a real person) is just a person part of a sketchy ad networking/ traffic website. I have found out that this "Syed Khalid Hussain Shah" of ADZbuzz also has a Youtube channel talking about the Ad website but nothing about the Award Coin Project.

Syed Khalid Hussain Shah of AwardCoin

Syed Khalid Hussain Shah of ADZbuzz

P.S.
You should also take note that Syed Khalid Hussain Shah is a name used by a famous religious leader in Islam.

Happy Birthday to you theymos!!!!  Smiley

P.S.

Do other forum members who have posted their Birthday in their Profile Info also shows a cake slice when it's their birthday on forum time? Or is it some kind of Easter egg for theymos' profile?  Huh

1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 15, 2019, 07:42:32 PM
Something tells me we will hear something about Sarri latest by tomorrow. If not, then I think he's actually going to stay put, above odds. The rumours are rife, and usually if I see something on espn then it's more or less confirmed. I want it to be over soon though because I'm getting ready to see the outright bets now that EPL fixtures are out!

I'm guessing with Allegri stepping down as Juve's manager this just fuels the talks more. Originally Pep Guardiola was their target but with Sarri going out of Chelsea it made him the top priority target since Italian clubs prefers their own citizens for running their club, other than that Sarri already mentioned that if he was appointed as the new manager for the team he would be bringing back Pogba back to Juventus again. Once the contract agreement has officially been confirmed we can expect him to be running the Bianconeri.
1725  Economy / Reputation / Re: realr0ach is a danger to newbies and guests. on: June 13, 2019, 07:53:02 PM
So far only TECSHARE is only opposing the red flag you have made for realr0ach and I can say that I am leaning on his side as well. The posts you have provided only voice out his opinion towards BTC. He doesn't suggest any other cryptocurrency or shill any kind of investment program towards members, there isn't even the slightest of hint that he is promoting anything else. For me his just another nocoiner messing up the forum with his opinions and false accusation to others. But if you do provide a convincing evidence that he is scamming people then I'll be on your side.
That would be grounds for a different kind of flag and hopefully much more black and white. This type is much more subjective I agree, yet proactive.

Still the bottom line here is you haven't proven anything that realr0ach have scammed someone nor have a potential to do so to other members. It's like you are just flagging him because you have varying opinions with Bitcoin because he is a nocoiner and your not. I don't remember the exact post I made but I might have replied to one of his post about his unrealistic views towards Bitcoin and during that time I didn't see him worthy of a red tag just because of us having different opinion with BTC nor he is worthy of being flagged now.

theymos has changed the trust system just because of this reason on tagging people with personal grudges on and with no relations to any kind of trade whatsoever. Just take a look at his post stating that flags are created for "contractual violations only".
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 13, 2019, 07:02:16 PM
This is not one of the popular moves that came in today but AC Milan have snatched Rade Krunic from Empoli who have been relegated this season for just 8 million euros. Not familiar with the guy but if they have pulled of another Piatek or even a Bonaventura kind of deal this will be a good transfer for the team. Also Krunic stated that it was his dream to play with Milan and this might be a motivating factor for him to improve next season.

1728  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-11] Why CCN Is Dead and Coindesk Is an Immortal Billionaire? on: June 13, 2019, 04:24:25 PM
The CoinDesk editorial team is not interested in clickbait headlines. They get first-hand information from market leaders, ignoring the small and medium segment.

Looks like Coinidol and CoinDesk couldn't come up with a better lie, just by visiting their website right now you will see most of their headlines are deemed to be clickbaity. Not only that they also provide recycled new already found in the internet. CoinDesk and CoinIdol are using this article as a black propaganda tactic which they try as hard as they can on showing that they are a different news source from the others when the truth is all of them are just the same.
1729  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Fueling the Gig Economy on: June 13, 2019, 01:26:28 PM
Cryptocurrencies are not the main reason why we have this “gig economy” going on in our world,it has push people especially the millenials to be part of it. People (including me) felt underpaid with their 8 to 5 job that is why they arebforced to look for other modes of revenue and getting paid with their skills through freelancing is one of them. Some people earn even without any kind of skills through blogging or streaming their games, they are literally earning money for every user who watch, subscribe, or donate to them. This "gig economy"" you are referring too might be a big part of any country's economy especially when the next generations will be more involve into tech.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Tom Schwarz on: June 12, 2019, 09:10:14 PM
Wtf are top heavyweights doing nowadays? They have been dodging top caliber opponents or atleast matching up against themselves for literally facing unknown contenders. Wilder did it first and AJ fighting Ruiz was acceptable since he was a replacement and now Tyson Fury fighting this Schwarz guy. I just hope it would be another upset win for the opponent so they could all stop talking shit to each other and start fighting each other.
1731  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A trader's best tool for consistent profits on: June 12, 2019, 08:05:15 PM
Best tool?Lots of them actually but I would tell you this which theres no such thing about consistent profits yet losing trades cant be avoided and having a loss of a certain day.

Losing trades can be avoided, what can't be avoided are only paper losses you see in your portfolio it's really up to you if you want to make it real by actually selling it at a loss. Now I'm not saying that selling at a loss is a bad idea, some people actually includes it as a part of their plan to reset their strategy within the trade. But if you think that the paper loss is only in a short term and its actually a good time for you to add more into your position then you are at a good spot to gain more profit in the future.
1732  Economy / Speculation / Re: When money is inflated, where does it go? on: June 12, 2019, 07:09:35 PM
Most places say that a bank gets the money for inflation and has to pay it back, but if this is the case the system would topple much faster than it does when it's just with its fractional reserve ponzi shit.

You might be talking about central banks directly getting a big part of the money supply here through debt collection owed to the government and by treasury bonds being released by them which is purchased by investors who are looking for fixed interest paid income, this is only one of the methods but it's hardly the most used one since not all of the people are interested in treasury bonds or even have direct debts to the government. What's more effective is by directly changing their monetary policy through raising up interest rates which forces people to save and keep most of their money supply which greatly affects the majority of the money being recirculated in that country. The bottom line is if lesser money is being supplied or being recirculated in the economy then inflation can either decrease or slow down in a certain period.
1733  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Drug Syndicates using Bitcoin in Philippines on: June 12, 2019, 06:31:57 PM
The worst thing that could PDEA and the government of the Philippines can do is ban Bitcoin and kill the entire crypto community in the Philippines, and dun palang isa na sa pinaka malalang scenario na gagawin ng gobyerno satin. Pero dahil huli na para sa ganung paraan dahil tumatanggap na nga ng crypto-related investments and Pilipinas siguro ang magagawala nalang nila is changes with the KYC as well as the modes on paano natin maliliquidate ang BTC natin, baka maging hassle sa parte natin yun pero sa tingin ko wala naman tayong choice pag ginawang Executive Order ito.
1734  Other / Meta / Re: Quote posts from locked topics? Why it's not allowed? on: June 11, 2019, 08:07:10 PM
When reporting plagiarism the date and time is important for the rest it's not that big deal, i know it's nothing big to bother theit's just time consuming to write the post, the time, the author.

Without expecting any kind of changes yet with theymos allowing posts from locked threads to be quoted I think we really don't have any choice but to do the workaround. If you don't want to be bothered by replicating the looks of a quoted message I think another solution is by having a screenshot of the post you want to report and put the post's url link as the image reference, and maybe putting a note that the post cannot be quoted directly since it came from a locked thread might help people understand the format of your report.
1735  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicehash founder charged with fraud and racketeering arrest warrants 50 yrs jail on: June 11, 2019, 04:21:15 PM
Looks like this news is more related to the black marketplace he created rather than the NiceHash all the articles are relating it to him, the later is only linked because the founder is involved in crypto, he isn't even directly affiliated to NiceHash anymore. But what I really notice is that the authorities are heavily targeting big names in the crypto industry and I think its their way to get the big fishes out.
1736  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5 things you need to check before buying crypto on: June 11, 2019, 03:25:06 PM
Since even scammers are paying at a premium to create a realistic whitepaper it wouldn't be enough for investores especially the newbies to just look into the token's whitepaper only. Without doing the necessary background checks for the people behind the ICO to even looking at the content of their whitepapre you wouldn't even know if they are using fake identities and plagiarized content for their whitepaper in the first place. So its really not enough for us investors just by looking at it individually because you will be easily fooled by them.
1737  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 11, 2019, 02:07:23 PM
Yes mate I also feel sad for KD he gamble his career and his health to the help team to go up again and get the winning games.
For raptor's I am very disappointed because all the opportunity to get the victory I feel mistake for the team didn't use the time to plan the play how to maintain the lead.

I don't feel like it was KD's fault on why he played in Game 5, he wouldn't even play if he wasn't cleared by their physios and doctors. Some reports I've seen points out that it was the Warrior's management who wants to rush things with KD and they risked his future just for a shot with another championship ring. Overall the game was pretty good and that was a pretty dumb move for Nurse to call a timeout while they are on the lead, also that last shot of Lowry wasn't that bad at all Draymond Green got a piece of it that's why it looked like Lowry shot a brick.  Grin
1738  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller vs cleaning up the forum on: June 10, 2019, 08:02:29 PM
~snip~

I think Quickseller is far more capable of rebuilding his reputation than those other users you mentioned. He can certainly do good work like his recent thread about stake.com shows. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be able to refrain from making stuff up and that casts doubt on everything else he's doing and on his motives. I don't know if it's about personal grudges or some perceived insecurities or something. I don't recall if I harmed or offended him in a particular way before his attacks started but looking at some of his other conflicts it doesn't seem to take much to set him off.

What he need to do now is to separate thoughts from reality, because what he is doing right now is just damaging his reputation more with the farfetched connections and foolish assumptions he is making to members like you. But with the damage already done I do think that the only way Quickseller can fix this is by talking to you personally (and to the rest of the members affected) and hopefully clear some things out, it would be his biggest move to possibly get everybody's trust back with him.

Huh. It is almost like there is no way for any of these users to ever get redemption over relatively small issues, so instead of being incentivized to reform, they are incentivized to tell everyone to go fuck themselves. Who would have thought?

Nothing can really be fixed if you chose the latter, I don't think that the issue can be resolve by throwing threats, false claims, and blatant lies to each other. It would do you more harm than good, even if you think you are winning you'll just later find out that you just dig your grave deeper with the mistakes you already made which are avoidable.
1739  Economy / Reputation / Re: Quickseller vs cleaning up the forum on: June 10, 2019, 06:25:42 PM
It's not the first time we have seen a member lose his/her way when they have gotten into the spotlight of controversy, I have seen lesser known members like digaran, mdayonliner/S_Therapist on the same situation and they did some untrustworthy things just because they are on the spotlight at the same time losing the battle. The same thing can be said to Quickseller, I know it was hard for him to get his reputation back up and now he got into another mess which I think the damage is far beyond repair that is why he is doing some unbelievable accusations against you and to other members here that brought him down.
1740  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: KIN KIK SEC - what could be the outcome? on: June 10, 2019, 03:12:35 PM
~snip~

multiple sources are reporting they did not prohibit USA investors from their ICO. the SEC is alleging that $55 million of total token investment came from USA buyers: https://www.thestar.com/business/2019/06/04/sec-sues-kik-for-us100m-for-illegal-securities-offering-of-digital-tokens.html

if they didn't explicitly prohibit USA investors and didn't implement IP restrictions to prevent them, this is probably a slam dunk for the SEC. agencies like the SEC always operate on the basis that if a company serves or issues securities to USA residents, that they are under USA jurisdiction. good luck to KIK; i don't think this will end well for them. a settlement and very hefty fine if they are lucky.
Given that the lawsuit is filed in the US and a lot of U.S. citizens have suffered losses after the token sale I know that Kik Interactive on coming out clean are slim to none. For the facts I have stated I know that it wouldn't be enough to throw the case in any way but those are just the points why this lawsuit shouldn't even exist in the first place. I have seen a Twitter thread about this case and really Kik Interactive doesn't have any fight with SEC against this.
