1681  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit abuse on: June 26, 2019, 08:51:16 PM
Theb

If you asked about russian DTs then some of them ignore it and some of them are defenders of abusers:
Total corruption in Russian local [DT involved!]

As you can see, some DT members from Ru local were in this thread and saw this information, but they brazenly ignore it.

Even if Russian DT members are saving their own it doesn't stop other DT members for painting the rightfully accused with red paint. Just like what I'm doing now, I'm a DT member that is why I'm asking what's the common procedure for tags (if there is one) with regards to merit abuse since I know theymos disagrees using the trust system woth regards to spam and merit abuse.
1682  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit abuse on: June 26, 2019, 07:36:40 PM
I don't know why did these two members slipped just right under the radar of the DTs with all the merit trade happening when the merit system just have been introduced. Most of their merits have been earned in just one day and that is January 31, 2018.

First1by's Merit from : tommyj1, BOMG, Doging, PALADYN

BOMG's Merit from : First1by, sibnia, Doging, PALADYN

Clearly a merit trade has happened with most of the merits being earned in one day and similar merit senders from both sides there is no doubt that they have abused the system.

P.S.

I'm not gonna pretend that I am knowledgeable when it comes to this situation but to DT members who are handling merit abuse how do you deal with this situation? Do you give a red tag right away? Or tags to merit abusers have died down already?
1683  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How long realistically before global mandatory kyc on all exchange/VASP? on: June 26, 2019, 06:43:49 PM
If we are talking about laws then this might take a while because international laws are just some kind of set standard where the country still has some choice to follow the rest or not, still domestic laws are what most follow if we are only talking about that certain country. The tricky part here is if this KYC requirement was passed into law then all the local exchanges that operate internationally might as well require all their users to have KYC which will obviously affect as all.

~snip~

Posible kayang me under the table dito? Does this benefit Philippines to take advantage of the trend or possible the CEZA director is taking advantage of the craze to make his pocket fat?

With 11 new exchanges this will also give a lot of jobs for the Filipinos. I know it will because you won't really know which exchange will be reliable when it comes to potential hacks.

If the ultimate goal is Juventus, of course, there is probably a lot of support for De Light there. This is what I am happy with Juventus who always gave a surprise at the end of the transfer this season. I will always look forward to the news about De Light, the rumor is going to Juventus.

Well in terms of progress the news said that as early as the Champions league Cristiano Ronaldo has been recruiting De Light to go play with him in Juventus, but him being a hot commodity shows that other bigger teams are also recruiting him hard even former stars are are recruiting him to play with their team. But it's really up to him if he wants to play on a bigger stage and risk his early career in it. La Liga or even Serie A will be on a different level compared to the teams they usually compete in Eredivisie
1686  Other / Meta / Re: Have a whole forum for the Satoshi topics on: June 25, 2019, 06:55:36 PM
There should be a separate sub-forum for all the topics like these:

Where in the world is Satoshi?
Is Satoshi alive?
Is Satoshi really John Smith?
What if you can have a dinner with Mr Satoshi?

All those topics should be grouped together.

And the section should be called post fillers because its the kind of topics that forum members go to fill in their post requirements for their sig campaign. Just look at your example topics all of them can just be answered with just an opinion or mere speculation on what they believe is happening with Satoshi. The whole section will be filled with worthless post and answers from forum members who aren't really interested in the topic.

I know these companies are heavily invested in CEZA but I wouldn't allow my money to be a test subject with these new trading services.
1688  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Google Adwords -- is it opened for crypto projects? on: June 25, 2019, 03:44:40 PM
But at another side -- there's ads of eToro (for example).
Question to all marketers of crypto sites -- how do you solve this problem?

Lol!!!! etoro isn't even in favor of crypto trading (even if they offer one) and they made their statement perfectly clear with their “hodl” commercial featuring Kristian Nairn (the man who portrayed Hodor in Game of Thrones). To keep it short etoro is more of a second class all-in platform from stocks to foreign currencies but they are not solely focused on crryptocurrencies itself, it's just a part of their program that is why Google is allowing it to have ads in adsense and commercials in Youtube because they are not directly related to the crypto industry.
1689  Economy / Economics / Re: Issuing loans in Bitcoin, how we could do it on: June 25, 2019, 10:54:41 AM
This is the sad thing about loaning cryptocurrencies it's either you offer them another cryptocurrency as collateral or you have to offer something else in return. That something else I'm talking about is something you cannot just send virtually for you to have a loan, these kinds of exchange requires to be in written form to bind them legally stating that if the loanee didn't pay what he owes (+interest) the loaner will have the full ownership of what he have given them as collateral. With this where I think you need to appear physically in a bank I think it makes no sense for you to still get BTC rather than straight out Fiat currency if you still plan to convert it to fiat later on.
1690  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-24] “zero-day” vulnerability in Firefox directed against Coinbase on: June 24, 2019, 07:18:16 PM
I don't believe this story, at least not without more details

Well if that's the case what's their main goal in spreading this news? Do they want to create some kind of panic in the market to pull the price down or they just want to force people to update their Firefox? Or since a Google employee is involve do you think they are just damaging the reputation of Mozilla so that they can switch to Chrome? With all the scenarios I have given I think that they don't have a real motive on spreading this kind of news if it was fake, they might just be really concerned about the public's safety and security.
1691  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WARNING to all DELL users. Security Flaw in Pre-Installed Dell Support Software. on: June 24, 2019, 06:24:42 PM
From a browser software (Mozilla Firefox) to an exclusive security software built for Dell PCs and laptops there are now targeting a lot of softwares/programs outside of the scope of what we used to see. Before we are only just seeing Wallets getting phished and getting tracked on now they are getting more desperate on stealing money from us. If I were you I'll add another step on scanning my pc for malwares and biruses before opening up any of my wallets, storing your private keys in your PC is not an option anymore.

Hardware wallets, that's the key. Using a PC for regular browsing and storing crypto on it with this crazy price variations makes it just an easy target. I have Electrum on my regular PC only to sign and verify messages, so ... Keep your coins save.

It really is. If people don't have an extra pc that they can stay away from regular browsing then a hardware wallet is the cheapest alternative they can have. And from what I have seen in the past people are so reluctant when it comes to safety of their cryptocurrencies only to find out that they have fallen victim to this vulnerable softwares and spywares.

Probably one of the most unlikely scenario happening with Juventus' transfer targets. Juventus isn't really known on spending too much on youngsters so I wouldn't know why De Light will have an exception. They tend to buy youth prospects/young talents at a cheap price or buy veteran star players with big amounts of money. I would love to see De Light in Juventus though, Leonardo Bonucci would be a great mentor for that young kid and he will surely develop behind him.
1694  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Russia Might Adopt Crypto Regulations within two weeks on: June 23, 2019, 08:48:29 PM
It's good that they are having progress with regards to regulation in their crypto industry but I'm more concerned if their bill has included anything about HYIP and Ponzi scams originating from their own country. It's not a secret that a lot of these fake investments are created by Russians and if they do really want to decrease the criminal activity related to cryptocurrency then that includes the elimination of scams to lessen the money stolen from people believing in these ponzis.
1695  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippine's 5 million users on: June 23, 2019, 07:53:45 PM
It only takes them to use the 50 php to buy load they have on their wallet to be called as a "user". Umabot yan ng ganyang numero kasi madami na din kumita dyan mga ilang posts na din nakita ko sa Facebook na mga guides paano daw "kumita" just by sharing the post and doing the step by step guide para maka register sa kanilang referral link. Also lets not translate that this 5 million users are aware of what Bitcoin is because most of them are just here for the referral commission.
1696  Other / Meta / Re: Explanation on off-topic !!! on: June 23, 2019, 07:21:13 PM
To be frank your answer/post is as generic as it can get. Being on-topic on post doesn't require you to only focus on your post but you should have a more relevant answer in the thread, and that includes also looking at what have others have posted. Just by looking at the thread a lot of people have already posted about signature campaigns before you and they have pretty much explained everything about it. Your post is simply just repeating what others have said about it.
1697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [VIDEO] 10 Million Dollar Bitcoin End Game on: June 23, 2019, 06:22:24 PM
During the first few seconds of his video he said that he will tell why he think that Bitcoin will reach 10 million dollars but he didn't really answer when or even why Bitcoin will become "10 Million dollars" in the future he instead put up a bunch of past interview videos on telling that it will become 10 million dollars. But this was a nice video showing the two sides of Bitcoin which the ones who supports and the ones who oppose like Jaimie Dimon and Brad Sherman, I was just hoping that he had answered his own question at the end.
1698  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-21] FATF: "37 Global Crypto Exchanges Must Now Share Customer Data" on: June 22, 2019, 09:27:01 PM
I love to see how the FATF come up with this regulation/requirement with the crypto exchanges. Without any detailed public information on what happened I am wondering on how they come up that there is a "threat" with these crypto exchanges with regards to terrorist organizations using it, because really without any proof that the terrorist are using crypto exchanges to fund them this is all just a show to shook the industry. If they don't have any proof then we all know this is just one of those lame excuses used by the government to get what they want.
1699  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-06-19]Big Four Auditing Firm PwC Releases Cryptocurrency Auditing Software on: June 22, 2019, 07:42:01 PM
~snip~
So for normal people like us we can't really do the auditing for ourselves but we will still go to accounting/auditing firms to do it. The only difference is their jobs just got easier to do their work for us.

Yeah that true normal people bitcoin or crypto currency can't use it the new software launch by the pwc, but hoping the new aoftware can help to the multi companies use crypto for fast auditing and a f the software totally successful possible some companies follow to use crypto software to give easier and fast working for auditing system.

But the question really is will people really go to auditing firms and avail their services? Something just tells me that they are just doing this in order to be relevant in the crypto industry. Not a lot of normal people are going to these firms in order to fix their taxes for them much more if for people who's main income directly comes from crypto they instead compute it themselves so they we are only talking about a small market here for me. If things go down with a much more strict regulation I do see that these firms will start seeing people in the industry availing their service.
1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: June 22, 2019, 06:12:13 PM
With the first three picks seems locked and secured all teams are inquiring the availability of the 4th pick which is supposed to be Darius Garland. New Orleans are more likely to give it away for anyone who will offer up the best veteran player in exchange for it. I don't know who or for what team it will be traded for but as Woj said it will be a busy draft night for the teams and fans since every pick, 4th and onwards are all made available by the teams who are not satisfied to what player is available in their turn.

^I was on point when I said that the 4th pick will be traded but I didn't expect that New Orleans did the wrong route by just taking up lower picks in exchange for it. They don't look like they want to build up with something for Zion Williamson this year so they have pick other rookies in the draft. Also I was really expecting that Minnesota will be the one who will get it and draft Garland but things didn't work out and got the 6th pick and land Culver which they say is an NBA ready prospect in the draft, looking forward on seeing him in summer league and see what he could bring to the team.
