great work from everyone here. how often should the wallet be opened to get max stake?

this is not pos3 right so we can just open it every few weeks or less?
2662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) | Inventor of PoSP! | 2017 Road-Map PUBLISHED! on: January 16, 2018, 10:28:26 PM
barterdex and blocknet are going to be the big news of this year i expect

cbx hopefully can get on both and deserves to be on both ... these fairly distributed projects are going to be the only ones left standing once regulations start sparking up all over the place.

icos are 99% scams

What steps are necessary to get listed on these 2 exchanges?

blocknet is free i believe just contact atcsecure and dan will be able to set it up or actually you can self add if if you know how i think

barterdex then jl777b is best to ask about that.

2663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: January 16, 2018, 01:23:20 PM
There is a new news article about Byteball on Coinidol: https://coinidol.com/designed-to-succeed-iota-raiblocks-and-byteball/

It basically says that Byteball will soon follow the success of IOTA and Raiblocks. I personally think that Byteball is the best one of them, so it seems quite likely that it will happen. At least I don't see any reason why Raiblocks and IOTA should spike and Byteball should stay somewhere at the bottom when it has even more features.
IOTA and Railblocks have feeless transaction that’s probably why they are more attractive to some people also the price of IOTA and Railblocks is a single digit when byteball is in the three digits most people will invest in cheaper coins even though theoretically IOTA and Railblocks are not cheap and Byteball is not expensive

the second point you are making is very valid and has been covered at length.. sadly tony disagrees with the vast majority of the community so reducing unit size is not going to happen... this is how decentralised projects operate apparently...... the problem is with even the best decentralised projects (byteball is not the best in this respect at all and maybe near the bottom of the pile) but the talent and ability to make changes is  not decentralised so in theory the success of the project is still highly centralised ... I, you, and 99.99% of people on this thread have no clue how to adapt or improve the bb code so we are at the mercy of 1 person to listen to us or do the right/wrong thing.

Although to be fair iota and raiblocks devs are top tier in skill level i think tony is their equal or even better so lets hope that alone pulls bb through in the end. Right now in comparison it is by far the best deal.

Hi Felixando,

There's been a lot of progress! Keep up the good work!

All is not well for me though...

I recently fractured my tibia while at work...

And because I have a high deductible insurance plan(usa), I have to pay a ton to fix this.

I donated my 3.8 ethereum to you not expecting this sudden expense

I'm happy I donated but right now I need the money to pay my medical bills

Once I'm settled financially I'd be happy to donate the same amount again.

Please help me out of this temporary jam :/

Cheers,

Mr.Ahab

Let;s see what happens here.
I'm sure he can give this back to you now since nothing has been developed yet.

Felixando are you going to return his voluntary donation or not?

I have bought some CBX on Cryptopia but I can see their wallet has got 0 connections. As result my withdrawal is stuck.
Could devs contact them and help them solve the issue.

I expect their wallet just needs a reboot ...hopefully they will do that today or tomorrow.
The chain is working fine

Thanks for creating the thread. I'm about to make a decision, and the list and comments are of great help for my research.

Very welcome. In depth research is key before making any jumps.
Correct. if you are planning better to have a lots of idea regarding to such things that you are willing to move forward, this thread will also
give some hint and some factors why people will invest with certain project, hopefully more people who really knows how the industry works
will able to share their prospect coins to invest with.

Some people are spamming some coins on purpose. I see this very clearly. This is wrong and making people have wrong decissions about them. Users should act more fair and they need to tell something real.

My favourites are ethereum, monero, litecoin and digibyte.

some very good choices there but most of these are already big things

Whatever happened with the Android Vault? I remember back in 2016 (roughly March) I bought some ~180 CBX. After, I tried to send CBX but couldn't as the vault had some syncing error. Still have the private keys/wallet files, so is there a way now to convert the key to a format working with the computer vaults, or a working Android Vault? It's worth over $1k USD now, so it would be great to have access to those funds. (forgot about it but saw the huge rise in the price recently).

You think that's a huge rise. Wait for the new vault and the other plans...... that will be a HUGE rise.

Remember this coin has a TINY minting.
ok! Thanks your reply!
I have a question! I have a private key when I buy 1 CBX in last two year! Now how to i can ussed it in new wallet! Thanks

Importprivkey xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

need a fully synced wallet first i think.
Thanks your help!
But at the moment! Can i used web wallet to swap coin? because fully synced wallet need big times for me at the moment!

Im not sure about that but does not the latest snapshot or boostrap in the OP help with the sync issue?

2675  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ANN - [BEE] - 2014 -2018 - BEE COIN - the original BEE === on: January 13, 2018, 11:35:28 AM

Greetings.  I do not own any Beecoin, but recently discovered its existence by doing an Internet search for "beecoin" on a whim due to my love of bees.  I read through the last year or so of posts over the last few days.  It seems I had fortuitous timing as things appear to be moving forward toward a relaunch.

If I am reading correctly, you are still in search of a website developer.  If that is the case, I'd be interested.  I am happy to front my own money to register a domain and pay for hosting and then handle the design.  I did a preliminary search and there are a few good options available.  Perhaps it would be best to discuss via PM to prevent some jerk from quickly registering the desired name once one is agreed to?

Also, does anyone know the old Twitter user's login info?  It would be good to revive that.

Finally, I will give my thoughts on the rebranding: I would go with just "BEE" for the official name ("bee coin" informally to note the crypto currency.)  There seems to be some unspoken consensus on that as the way to move forward and offers the most marketing opportunities, IMO.

(FYI, I've been a user of crypto since 2012 or 2013.  I had a Bitcointalk account year ago, but it seems it was disabled due to a 2015 hack, so I'm starting a new one.)

Thanks for your kind offer to help bee design a new website. This is exactly the type of community involvement that is great to see.

As soon as a few more details are ironed out by graham regarding the codebase final name ...and we get certain logo developed then this will be the time to start a website development plan.

thanks for your offer

263 votes .. not too bad come.

Although for me this demonstrates around 0.01% of this board has really taken time to contribute in terms or voting or adding a new project.

1505 ICO's listed on icobench.  Where do people think the devs for all those projects can be found? They simply do not exist.

ha exactly .. most are just marketeers from start ups who couldnt grab money from anyone other than the crypto fomo crowd.
90 % will fail since their white papers are just dreams and talk.

do we have an active real crypto dev here? if so should we start a new ANN since PD is long gone right? or is he still around from time to time.

I like these old POW coins be nice to see them return strong with some slight modernisation.

Should we not call it

philosopher's stone

or

philosopher's stones?

I mean when we push out a new qt wallet at some point.

So many new dreams and talk projects popping up that have nothing essentially to do with crypto. It is going to all boild down to the REAL projects eventually and the first on those ships will be the ones who are rewarded for their early selection and research the most.
