LuckyLeprechaun and I run this coin. Welcome to the EVIL family!

Any development updates so far? All I am seeing is red in the yobit trading history. Everyone is selling. Time to get green again. What do you think dev?

2682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHICH COINS TO BUY FOR LONGTERM on: July 03, 2019, 09:32:07 PM
My opinion the best coin for long term hodl is BTC for sure and second place is Ethereum , BNB for next.
For the long term HODL it is better to buy top coins which filtered through dusty pages of history. Low market cap coins definitely have a better return on the investment flow but it carries some risks that should be endured by the investor. Bitcoin dominance is not aloowing altcoin season to start.

Bitcoin is still the leading cryptocurrency for me to hodl in long-term. Tested by time and proven by so many factors that even altcoins which are better, faster than btc, they still lagged behind its popularity. No matter what they do, people will always come back to bitcoin. But you need to diversify your portfolio, BNB is not bad to include in your list.
2683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to fill bag with altcoin on: July 02, 2019, 10:27:13 PM
Many view dip as a depressing moment while others see it as an opportunity to buy at dip, anyone looking to invest long term won't be bothered with this dip rather take advantage of it, the market won't stay down for ever and i want to believe we are already out of bear market, so it won't hurt to buy some good alts in this dip.

A trader should know what he's doing. Because if he is clueless how crypto works, he might end up losing his savings. Buying altcoins is already a very risky move. One should be knowledgeable what's happening with that altcoin or at least familiar with the background of the coin, because he might be buying a dying coin or a pumpndump coin. Try reading their thread in the forum and check where they are heading. You can get hints from the thread or their social media channels. At least you are not in the dark when you do trade them in the exchanges.
2684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott the Facebook Coin (Project Libra)? on: July 02, 2019, 09:57:25 PM
Why boycott Libra? Let it promotes cryptocurrency to the masses. Mass adoption is good for us. We don't have to use Libra, we can still use Bitcoin and no one can take it away from us.

We can't dictate users to boycott Libra. What we can do is educate those fb users what Libra can do to their lives and the pros and cons of using it. Also, the introduction of Libra to masses might really create massive adoption of crypto. And then later on, they will learn more about crypto and the benefits of bitcoin over Libra. Let them decide what they want in life.
2685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 gives birth to too many shitcoins on: July 02, 2019, 09:21:16 PM
If we start counting all useless tokens in crypto space you will notice that most of this useless tokens are running on erc20 block chain ,many good altcoins ive came across have separate owned block chain and they are plain better, I guess the reason we have too many shit altcoins in crypto space is because of the flexibility of erc20 ,making it easy for unprofessionals to build there useless tokens.

We have some good altcoins that are running on erc20 but you will see then moving to their own block chain later on or it will be included in  their roadmap about the future swap.

The reason why I like tron block chain is the ability to get rid of fake tokens running on tron blockchain if ethereum can do this it will help a lot.

My answer is too many shitcoins are based on erc20.

This is because ETH was the first to offer smart contracts (ERC-20/721 tokens) that were very affordable to write and understand the average programmer. If the TRON with its TRC-10/20 was the first, then a similar conclusion could be made with regard to it. Why blame the "mechanism" if people themselves use it incorrectly, or rather use it for their own benefit and do not think about something else.

You have a point on this. They created the erc20 to benefit the crypto community but it was abused and still many projects are abusing this system. Any platform can be abused by scammers. As long as they can see a loophole that they can get around it, they will abuse it no matter which platform it is.
2686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran seizes 1,000 Bitcoin mining machines after power spike on: July 01, 2019, 11:04:46 PM
It looks like Iran was rather invested in crypto - something, I only just learnt. However, the BBC report about the authorities seizing the hardware does seem to indicate to me that Iran is at leat trying to catch the new wave of technology and I hope other developing countries will follow the example set out by Iran.
They also use mosque as a place to put these miners to work and the perfect cover up as they only just recently detected them being there.

Who wants to move to Venezuela for a year and get their mine on Wink
I’d consider it if I was single & a couple of us went into business together.
They mine bitcoin in Iran already within their mosques due to the free electricity they have so why not? Grin
They get over $260,000 worth of bitcoins and it all goes towards their place of worship.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/iran-bitcoin-miners-set-up-shop-in-mosques-amid-govt-crackdown
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1146669/iran-mosques-bitcoin-safe-houses-hiding

They are not good at hiding it though...I am curious what is the take of their religion towards bitcoin mining? Sometimes they have irrational point of views on technological advancement. This news really surprised me. More than likely, the mosque permitted it because they are getting good amount of money from it.  Tongue
2687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does a perfect ICO Team looks like for you? on: July 01, 2019, 09:25:51 PM
In my opinion, a good team of a project can be considered a good team when they meet at least these criteria:
1. They are professional on their fields
2. They have experienced to do similar case projects or others with certain experiences.
3. They have a good track record previously to ensure us as the investors that they are real, not scammers.
I think those three criteria will really help us to pick the project and believe on the team.

And if I may add, they are not for get-rich-quick easy scheme but they have the intentions of really achieving their deliverables for the project. They might have the experience but their dedication to the project might be absent. And the dedication and passion of a particular team will only be seen by time.
2688  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 Dice on BTC in Telegram on: June 30, 2019, 10:53:21 PM
It works very well on Telegram and the minimum amount of withdrawals is also very good. I'll try and give feedback as soon as possible. It would be great if card games were added.
Thanks for your feedback  Wink
Update 06/18/2019:
Minimum deposit  0.001 BTC
Minimum withdrawal reduced to 0.001 BTC
You can withdraw only if you have made at least the minimum deposit.

I think the last statement is not fair. Because if a certain player won and get at least min withdrawal amount but he didn't deposit the minimum amount to begin with, he can't withdraw his winnings. I understand, that you need to stay in business but I believe you need to allow such withdrawal. Just my opinion.

2689  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SUMO WRESTLING is it entertaining? on: June 30, 2019, 10:28:21 PM
It's not as interesting as MMA but can be very entertaining for someone who is new to the culture. The size of the fighters can make a big impression on its own.
The fights are not something I would pay for but the whole dance and preparation and the way it is judged is very nice.

I've been at Sumo Wrestling events in the past and let me tell you that its actually a once in a life time experience. I'm not a local resident otherwise I'd go everyday. provided I could afford to. Those men, man! they were huge! And I guess that is why people go to see these events. Its a curiosity, a niche and people go there to be amazed more than anything.

And dude its the japanese, they don't like to talk or engage much with other people. Explaining japanese people or their culture is hard for anyone like me. as far as integration into Blockchain is considered. I don't recall seeing it anywhere relevant.

I feel the same. It's more of a spectacle than a sport.

Who knows, Japan is one of the leading blockchain hubs in Asia? If they see the potential of this sport via blockchain betting, they might consider it. Unless, they will be protective to their culture and leave the way it is. It is their legacy to the world so they might be conservative when it comes to modernizing its domain.
2690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CCB] CryptoClub ★ ROUND P-30 ★ on: June 30, 2019, 09:03:14 PM
i just sad that the news is good, developers still alive hi is not get out as most scam projects. Need  start from small then bigger.

but nobody claims, that this project is a scammer. maybe, it will be the most successful. or vice versa. we can not predict that. it's hard to see and be 100% sure. Just watch and analyze.

This coin is very old as compared to other altcoins but there are no buy orders anymore from yobit or nova even at 1 sat. Only at other pairs like doge but it is like, it has no more value in the market.

CCB listed on Nova exchange...CCB/BTC & CCB/DOGE
Happy trading!

Are there any developments going on for this project? It might be a waste if this old project will disappear in crypto.
2691  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲 Bitz.gg - Big list with the best bitcoin gambling / faucet sites 2019 on: June 30, 2019, 03:49:15 PM
Updated the design colors a little  Wink

3 New sites added + 4 New categories added (sites will be added within this week)

This is great work. At least before adding them, you said that you and your team already tested it out. So you basically know what to expect for each site listed. Unlike other sites, most of them are paid to be in the list. Good job!  Wink
2692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do u think about BNB? Worth to buy? on: June 30, 2019, 09:05:09 AM
I think BNB is worth buying. This coin began to grow even when the rest of the market fell and stood still. This BNB has demonstrated its strength.

One thing I can say is that the foundation of BNB is very solid and as of now, in my opinion, it is worth to buy if you have extra cash. They are one of the visible platforms among the crypto community and you can easily read their new developments in popular crypto sites. So yes, I think BNB is worth to buy. They still have a lot of room for improvements and so the increase of value is anticipated.
2693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CarryKoin e-Commerce IEO Announcement ✔✔ on: June 30, 2019, 01:48:10 AM
Millions of transactions per second? This looks another one empty promises... As for now no one project does not have so many TPS. As I know max is around 10k TPS per second.

Thank You Very Much for your response.

Traditional centralised database systems like Visa/ Master cards can process millions of transaction per second.

The decentralised Blockchain applications are limited by low transaction speed (around 10 per second for Bitcoin), high computing power and high storage requirements.

A lot of promising breakthrough is there to harness. We are aiming to invest 20 % of our e-Commerce revenue per annum to address this limitation. We  expect to come out with new age blockchain applications in 7 years time having all the pluses of a decentralised blockchain application and also matching the positives of traditional centralised databases in terms of high transactions per second, low storage and low computing requirement.

Team CarryKoin

Are you sure in this? Visa has just around 7k TPS. I dont know where do you got this numbers. As for now no one of the blcokchain projects does not have so many TPS. This was just empty promises.

Thank You for your comments.

We have looked up and stand corrected. Thank You.

The capacity of Visa is at 70000 TPS. An article in 2018 claimed to observe the following data -

-

The blockchain scalability issue is there. There is race to reach Visa like transaction speed.

CarryKoin will be  investing in new age database, which can reach capacity of 1000000 transactions per second.

We foresee a future, where all commerce can migrate to a blockchain database system. That will be gigantic and need this level of capability.

Team CarryKoin

Will wait how far you will achieve with your developments. It is good to see that you aim to surpass the current Visa's capacity. But actual implementation is another thing. Usually, that's where most projects failed, the actual realization of their project. They can give overwhelming promises but when it comes to actual output, there will be thousands of reasons why they can't achieve their deliverables.
2694  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin at 25000 possible? on: June 29, 2019, 11:41:51 PM
With the pace bitcoin is going now there is no doubt that bitcoin will hit that price in no time. Bitcoin touched the 13k$ mark abd it has corrected back to 11k. The next run can take bitcoin to 17k before t25k. From all indications bitcoin can get to 25k$ before the year end
maybe now bitcoin needs time to stabilize prices, so there won't be a correction like yesterday when bitcoin rose so fast then the possibility of correction is also large. I prefer bitcoin to grow slowly but the movement without correction in the market.
By all indications, Bitcoin will continue to grow just such jerks, followed by fixation. But periods of price fixing should last at least a couple of months - then we can talk about a healthy growth trend, and not about a simple price pump.

sooner or later I am sure that the price of bitcoin will still grow to 25,000. because there is nothing impossible in this world. everything will happen. it's just that it needs a process to grow better. because basically growth is quite difficult and complicated. so it requires tactics to grow

From the time the OP created this thread and how the bitcoin is performing right now, such price is very possible to happen. But maybe, next year or couple of years from now. If adoption will grow stronger as more and more crypto users are using it for their expenses, we will be heading that target value in no time.
2695  Economy / Gambling / Re: Making money promoting 6 casinos under only 1 program on: June 29, 2019, 10:49:16 PM
All 6 casinos are almost same (or built on same platform, idk).
Funny thing, I opened 3 of them in separate tabs, and noticed, that even "recent wins" info and bet ID's are same in all of them Cheesy

Probably a case of owner trying to  diversify his investments/companies lol. His kind of method works best if he has sufficient money to maintain all companies. else it's just better to focus on one or few profitable companies

The likelihood of having one owner to most of these 6 sites is very high. They are trying to get as many players as they can but yes, the maintenance of each site will be hard. Bank roll alone for each site will eat a lot of funds. So later on, once they can't sustain one of these sites, it will just disappear from their casino affiliates.
2696  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: June 29, 2019, 08:32:54 PM
Bitcoin is indeed one of the most interesting investment tools to build capital, but it sometimes requires a lot of patience and long-term exposure, so you need to count on a long-term period,if you are not an experienced trader
sometimes there are many beginner traders who are eager to get big profits by doing short-term trading. even though it is very risky because the increase and decrease in bitcoin can occur at any time in a short time. I think long-term bitcoin will still be good
It is because they are being lured by the so called get rich quick scheme here. But most of them fight it difficult though, but the market  is not really design to be like that. Of course in its early years like in 2017, there are a lot of young traders who became successful even leaving their jobs but it's not for everyone.

You can only do the trading successfully if you know the market. Take for example btc, you can still do the short-term trading, but at least you should know what you are doing. You will not plunge in the trading blindly. Take a quick analysis, the news surrounding it, the possible factors that might affect the btc price. And choose the platform or exchange where you want to do the trading, select the reputable one, where you are not afraid that you they will do something to your funds or accounts.
2697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡BQT - SOCIAL P2P CRYPTO EXCHANGE AND HEDGE TRADING PLATFORM ⚡ on: June 29, 2019, 08:06:45 PM
It is necessary to carefully consider every step in this direction, so that the project does not lose face at the start. It all depends specifically on the team and their actions.
Very well said buddy. The team is what we can depends on in this kind of thing, and to all what is happening to the project BQT. And to what as we can see, they are not losong their pace, indeed, they keep on going and keep on their promising goals and objectives.

We have great expectations from the team because they raised a lot of money during the difficult time of ICO period. So it means, those investors believed that this platform can deliver their objectives. However, is their BQT Hedge Exchange v2.0 already released as per roadmap?
2698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will Boom ! on: June 29, 2019, 04:35:36 AM
If Chainlink will become a success then it will really benefited more the Ethereum as it was already the most commonly used platform by most of the ICOs to support their projects. Hopefully that Facebook Libra will also use the Ethereum platform too as it will make Ethereum more progressive in the future.

I don't think libra will use the eth platform. From what I am seeing, they want it to be centralized. In that way, they will know all the transactions being done by a specific user. They will know your spending habits and every move you make with your coin. Let us wait how you can get libra coin and see their requirements. If the minimum requirement is to be an fb user, I would say, your privacy is at stake here.
2699  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAO] Tao & AltMarket - Real Solutions for the Music Industry! on: June 29, 2019, 12:30:08 AM
Are you having an ICO or IEO

There was an ICO for Tao (originally XTO) back in 2016. It was done before the major ICO hype set it and it was done in a legally compliant way that did not count as a security, making it a rarity.

However, the FanMix.com platform will include "IAOs" (aka Initial Artist Offerings) for musicians - they have a large number of artists already onboard ranging from no-name up-and-coming artists to established big names.  Each artist token will only be tradable against Tao and so each one adds to Tao's value.

Make sure to read my posts upthread for more details, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Why is the coinmarketcap data for Tao missing? Also, where are the current exchange markets for TAO?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tao/

Are you going to release your 2019-onwards roadmap also? Your website shows up until Dec 2018 plans only.

CMC data is missing a lot of data because after Cryptopia delisted Tao CMC chose not to include data from any other exchanges. It is currently on three exchanges that I know of:

FreiExchange:
https://freiexchange.com/market/TAO/BTC

qTrade:
https://qtrade.io/market/TAO_BTC

and the official home on AltMarket:
https://exchange.alt.market/

As for the roadmap, the copy in the OP of this thread shows up through the March 2019 launch of AltMarket. The next step is the launch of FanMix, which I've been posting about recently.

You can expect more details on July 4th.

Thanks for the reply. However, CMC should update with your current listings. Maybe, you need to communicate with them regarding the current info of your coin. With thousands of altcoins to be catered, they can't check all the details by themselves. They need help from your end. At least provide the markets where you are currently traded.
2700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to keep up to date on newest altcoins? on: June 28, 2019, 11:58:00 PM
I regularly check the current information of altcoins on coinmarketcap. Another way to do is by joining some telegram channels that inform current improvement on altcoins. I think the two ways are enough to have the updates of new altcoins.
There's another way of knowing about these newest altcoins and projects with the specific sections of the forum.
There is these two sections, Announcements (Altcoins) and Tokens (Altcoins) and if their ann threads has lesser page, there's a chance that those projects are new but it's not like that all of the time.

Yes, this forum will give you the newest projects in crypto. Even crypto websites don't have it. CMC will just give you projects that have been listed to at least 2 exchanges. But the newly-launched coins that have not been in the market yet, I guess you can find it here (sections mentioned above).
