1701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Now Binance owns CMC! A Red alert for all the shit Exchanges! on: April 03, 2020, 02:53:42 AM
Binance never compromised with their reputation. This exchange got hacked several times but they protected the users' funds, so, no one left the Binance exchange!
A lot of people stopped looking at Coinmarketcap, as they did nothing against faked volume exchanges/tokens! Rather most of the shit exchanges are available in the top rank!
Even a shit exchange called Tagz climbed up to the first rank, now their volume likely zero! I did not participate in Tagz bounty, because it looked shit at first sight!

So, now, as Binance owns the CMC, so, they will rank up only the real volumed exchanges like Bittrex, Kucoin, Poloniex, Kraken and so on! And exchanges like Hotbit, Coinsbit, Bilaxy will go as low rank as they deserved, all of their fake volumes will be washed out! So, I am very much happy now! I made a couple of threads against these fake exchanges and CMC's silent habit against scam exchange! Now, we are gonna see what we asked for!

I believe from now the crypto market will have less negativity, less scam exchange and tokens. What do you think guys about it? Am I expecting too much or its okay?
Can you share a detailed post here because what I have heard so far is that they are still in talk so maybe I miss something like whether the transaction has been finished or not.

But what I love to see, is the payment or any documents that are telling that the Binance already owns the CMC so we can also adjust and check whether they are already creating an adjustment to site or not. I also love to see those shit exchange to be downgraded as they are nuisance to the users who like to use the right exchange that they like.

They already bought it. Deal closed last March 31 based on this article. We will know in the coming months what improvement are they going to implement in CMC.

1702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on DEX's - What's your experience? on: March 31, 2020, 11:28:53 PM
IDEX had been one of my favorites, but when I experienced lots of downtimes due to maintenance, I stopped using it and other DEXs thinking that all of them used to have the same problems including; like no liquidity, no volume, not much stronger user-base, etc. I'd like to ask you if this BlockNet has some amount of traders available for some specific coins to be traded with ease? Or do they also lack orders?

I used etherdelta and IDEX before, but seems that their trading volume is really small to zero now. I haven't checked this BlockNet but I am seeing a lot here in the forum being advertised by users thru posts. Is there some kind of hype going on? Are they really users of that dex or part of the blocknet dex team and just want to promote?
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: March 30, 2020, 11:04:54 PM
I do not gamble to become rich and I know that I will not be rich but there are times when you go into something huge that you start to dream a bit.

For example, I do gamble on sportsbooks and other stuff that will not make me rich and I do not dream about it at all, I might as well lose it because if I win that I will spend it back on 2 games instead of 1 and gamble more, however there is a LAMBO giveaway on freebitco.in right now, they already done the first one and doing the second one right now, if you do not want lambo which I will not want you can opt out from it and get 200 thousand dollars instead. That money coupled with the 4% annually they are giving means that I will be capable of getting 666 dollars per month, that is MORE than enough for me to live without ever working again.

That is, if you will be the winner of that lottery!  Tongue How many golden tickets so far you have in that lottery? I understand, once in a while, everyone wants to dream a life like that. But going back to reality, winning a lottery, like for example is almost 1 in about 4.5M . Currently, they have 4493912 golden tickets. The chance is very very small. But dreaming is free anyway.
1704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: March 29, 2020, 10:03:03 PM
Let's be honest here, Covid-19 has brought about a lot of changes which includes quarantine. And there's one thing I'm sure of; one of the people to make gain in this season are our service providers. I mean, everyone stays at home and there's probably an 80% probability that they would spend more time on the internet. Now, let's also think of this; don't you think that this is a good time to promote btc (online)? Imagine, most people presently are off their work desk and are surfing the net. I really think that this is a good time to promote btc online. If people hear more about it, it'll keep brightening the future of btc.
I have two questions for you. What have always hindered you from reaching out to people (online) and 2, would you agree with me and support the promotion of bitcoin in this season??
I don't really sure that people aren't hearing this one since in the past year because it probably they are but somehow they never appreciate this thing or they just ignore this one for the reason that they'll never understand it. I hope they would realize it by now and might capture their attention since online transactions meant a lot this time because of the global situation. It gonna be the best time to tell people and encourage them but not the like that we are pushing them to use either. Giving them knowledge about crypto may enlighten their minds and could possibly bring them a reason to get in and gives support to the crypto world.

They have more time now to understand what's going on in crypto. If they are beginners, this is really tough to understand, they have so many questions just like when you were a beginner in crypto. It takes time to grasp even how to transact using crypto. But maybe, people will be more patient understanding and learning how to deal with crypto now that they have a lot of time. From a lot of people inquiring how to deal with crypto, only few of them will really make an actual move.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Betting Double After Losing is Really a Good Decision? on: March 28, 2020, 10:38:51 PM
I've tried martingle a lot of times and it will not be effective in the long-run. Eventually you will lose all your funds which happens to me most of the time. At some point if you kept losing you will have to resume at a new bet and stop chasing for your loss.

Martingale will only work few times. So chasing your loss might really put you in a terrible situation. It depends on the player, if he can still afford to lose the next game, he can proceed. But if he will loan the money just to play again and hoping that he will win this time, better stop it early. Winning is not a sure thing in gambling. That's why a lot of people are in deep debt because they believe they will win the next time around but unfortunately not.
1706  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Coronavirus never happened on: March 27, 2020, 09:58:39 PM
There is no definite answer to your question but with the way Bitcoin started the year, the sign would be bullish and the price could be around $14k. I just feel the Corona Virus thing came at the right time, it helps people come to their senses, there are a lot of prediction out there, with the project of Bitcoin hitting $200k next year though anything is possible but we need to be realist IMO

We are already rejoicing when we hit 10k last february, we thought that it is continuous, but wait, covid suddenly becomes pandemic. Too bad, everyone is in the panic mode. Maybe, if it was contained much earlier, we will still see the bitcoin's price in 10-11k level. But we really can't predict the future, so everyone should always have contingency plan when you are in crypto. We will face more challenges in the future.
1707  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: March 26, 2020, 10:47:35 PM
There's currently about 525,605 confirmed cases worldwide with 23,711 total deaths according to WorldMeters . Just on Saturday, we had 11,405 death. The numbers have doubled in less than a week. COVID-19 is escalating pretty fast. At the moment, over 198 countries are suffering from the pandemic.  These numbers only seems to be rising with each passing day. There's no telling what would happen before an official cure is out. Damn this is bad.

How's the situation in your country/area?

Confirmed by who? You seem to believe them, whoever they are. But the symptoms fit all kinds of diseases. Are you trying to say that you know for a fact that all these cases have been laboratory confirmed by professionals who know how to use lab equipment and wouldn't lie?

Cool

Maybe just go to WHO website for official stats.

But the numbers are growing fast everyday.
1708  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🤑💸🎰CryptoWild - The Wildest Casino in Crypto 🎰💸🤑 on: March 25, 2020, 10:07:50 PM
Hi Alex,

Thanks for this. You are 100% correct. The complaint was a new player who refused KYC to withdraw his no deposit bonus win. The 0.001 BTC is still in his account.

You should have resolved it a long time ago as this is the first thing that people here will check on you. You should have let it go as it is only very small amount. So if you have doubt with this identity, just ban his account next time. I don't know the whole story but that case should be resolved by now and settled an agreement fairly.
1709  Economy / Gambling / Re: dicetrue.com - List of Top Bitcoin Casinos with reviews, bet viewers & verifiers on: March 25, 2020, 09:30:51 AM
I like to introduce My website is dicetrue.com

On dicetrue.com there is:
  • an overview casinos
  • provably fair verifiers
  • bets history viewer
  • martingale calculator
  • strategy
  • Crypto and gambling news
  • bonuses list

Dicetrue presents the famous bitcoin gambling game, one of which is dice. Dice is a crypto gambling game that uses a provably fair system. the unique thing about this game is that each player can communicate directly with other players, for example in giving tips to each other. dicetrue will always provide information about web gambling reviews, information about bonuses and more. the best online gambling experience

lists is always good, but..
you talk about reviews.. who write the reviews?

is important for me understand this, if you write review.. why i can trust you?
if you collect reviews from forum or other website is another situation and another 'good' stuff

Also, the rating corresponding to each gambling site. Who gave such rating? Is it him alone or how did he come up with 5.0 or 3.8 rating?
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and illegal activities on: March 24, 2020, 09:47:04 PM
The anonymous advantage of bitcoin is what makes it look like a shady activity enabled because fiat can't really do such an activities otherwise it would be labelled as money laundering. However, whether genuine businesses thrive with both or not, some people have zeroed their minds on a negative outcome and not for positive but for me, I look at the positive which is that it is convenient to transact whenever you are.

I can agree with that, the ease of transaction is mainly the advantage for me when you are talking crypto. Based from the OP's graph, the large contributing part are scams and I think that's true. So many crap and scam projects, promising overwhelming returns, etc. but they will disappear once they got their money. This is the sad reality in crypto. But they are lessening now as less and less investors are joining these ICOs, IEOs, STOs or whatever your call it and especially now that we are in crisis. I hope these crap projects will be gone forever.
1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Digital Yuan as a possible Cyber Weapon on: March 22, 2020, 11:40:52 AM
Digital Yuan is more a much better improvement of banks paper money and it also inherited the regulations of Central banks but much more strict compared to any other. Even though they use different technology, the big question is. What is it backed with ?
If it's still Oil or Gold, to bad it wont probably dominate the fiat currencies cause it might collapse due to the financial crisis.

Just wondering, does it need some sort of backing to exist since it is digital? Will the value be tied up to their local fiat? Also, maybe this digital yuan is aiming to be like the US dollar, but in digital form.
1712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Cryptocurrency price is coming back. on: March 22, 2020, 09:22:08 AM
It is really surprising to see how Bitcoin dipped together with the shock of the traditional financial market. Only to see it at above $6000 just days after...

That is so true.

I thought that it is because of what is happening right now but it turns out it is not really the pandemic but it just played a role to affect the price. I am not surprised by the price change in time since we all know the capabilities of it even in the past. The halving is closing and with the recovering price, I think we might get back at $10K.

But let's admit it, the pandemic has major impact on this. Because of so many economies in the brink of collapse, a lot of people are selling their crypto portfolio. But whales are taking advantage of the situation as they can afford to accumulate more even in this crisis. Because they do believe that bitcoin will rise again very soon or the next few years.
1713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Corona drop over or will it continue? on: March 21, 2020, 12:21:48 PM
I'm sure freefall won't happen again if there is something that can make this coronavirus disappear immediately and also, at least there has been news about vaccines related to this problem, hopefully there will be more positive changes in the near future if the vaccine is correct and can be mass produced because after all, this problem must be resolved quickly if we don't want this crisis to get worse.

Validating the potency of the vaccine can take 12-18 months according them. But starting this trial vaccination is already good news. I hope they will be on the way to finding the appropriate vaccine to stop people from panicking.

But, I don't know what to say about this graph. As China has declining their number in covid cases, the rest of the world is increasing. Are they still covering up something here?

in some part they cover real information and show what they want, remember that China is communist and everything is controlled by the government.

answering your question from the chart, it is more likely because many cities was in quarantine and up to date some still ongoing.
the lock down lead to 0 movement outside, if a person was caught outside without authorization, that person would be paying a big fine.

now besides from Asia, every continent are ignorant and don't care about taking prevention. lot of people are not used to use mask and avoid crowded places, now you have the result in each country.

I agree with that. Imagine, Italy surpassed the number of deaths as compared to China. But there are some leakages that the real number is not what the Chinese gave to the public. There were deaths that are not accounted to their list. Relatives claiming that their relative's death is not included in the official list. Definitely, the number is higher as given in the statistics. But we will not know the real figure here because Chinese are known to cover up sensitive information.
1714  Economy / Economics / Re: Coronavirus/Covid 19 Impact on World Economy Hit Bitcoin on: March 20, 2020, 11:02:34 PM
In a crisis like this. We should be ready and prepared whatever the outcome would be.

There will be now a great consideration for the usage of bitcoin because of the possible transmission of the virus through fiat money. They will see how bitcoin is applicable in situations like this. The economy has been hit hard but bitcoin is recovering.

But the problem lies the fact that up until now very few merchants are accepting bitcoin as part of their payment method. I hope those merchants or stores will consider bitcoin or crypto now that we are in the world crisis and having high risk of using fiat currency.

The vaccine I think will not be available anytime soon as they are still in the trial stage. We need to find alternative options on how to address our everyday living situation to prevent getting infected.

1716  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Quarantines Are Coming, What to Stock Up on Now Before It’s Too Late on: March 17, 2020, 11:45:53 PM
Give people some time to think things over. I'm sure generators are the next item to be hoarded up. Also, I'm sure the produce section will be ravaged next when people discover the joys of pickling and canning.

I was hoping that this shit would slow down once the hoarders max out their credit cards but Trump is planning to give everyone $1000 so this might last a little longer.

I got a grocery order to pick up tomorrow (nothing special, regular weekly shopping list) and I'm guessing half of the stuff will be out of stock... so now I'm thinking I should increase the quantities just in case LOL.

So after all, these US survivalists are right all along. And actually, it is already being experienced in those areas that are in total lockdown like in Wuhan. Better prepare than sorry.

1717  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fake Exchange Volume??????? on: March 14, 2020, 11:18:21 PM
Affirmative.
They have several bot accounts which have 0 fee, and they just trade directly between themselves.
This is done so fast that a regular person wouldn't really catch it, but it's visible in the history.
This is called wash trading, and it's frowned upon

Good catch and thanks for the information.
Shouldn't this be an illegal activity and be punished by law accordingly?

Truth be told, a lot of exchanges are doing the wash trading strategy to increase their volume activity. You really can't compete with bots if you are a real trader of that coin. They are fast and you will see the buy/sell orders executed even without seeing it in the line up of their buy/sell orders. I have seen that numerous times in several exchanges, not only the mentioned exchanges by the OP. So if you are a trader of a specific coin, you need to observe first the trading movement, if you noticed that there's wash trading, better get out. You can't compete with them because they are really fast.
1718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are calling projects as scam when they are in a bear market? on: March 13, 2020, 11:18:51 PM
It's more of a domino effect because the majority of the projects that showed dump for their price before have been seen to be performing like that, as a scam.

But calling it a scam without strong evidence or hint, I guess it's just part of the frustration.

If there is no trading movement after the dump, then, more than likely the dev exited already. Because if there will be real development, they won't let their coin die in exchanges. They will find ways on how to keep it alive. But if months passed, and no news or updates. They certainly abandoned the project.

I read that you will create casino from the funds raised. What if you can't raise enough funds, are you still going to develop your casino site with your own money?
1720  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [POLL] China Virus Source on: March 12, 2020, 10:26:38 PM
Coronavirus may have originated in lab linked to China's biowarfare program
The deadly animal-borne coronavirus spreading globally may have originated in a laboratory in the city of Wuhan linked to China’s covert biological weapons program, said an Israeli biological warfare analyst.
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/jan/26/coronavirus-link-china-biowarfare-program-possible/

I voted for this option. Though we don't know the real truth surrounding this pandemic, I have the feeling that it is not about eating wild animals. But since Chinese are known to mask facts, I don't think we will ever know the real source of this virus.
