2701  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Wow] Restaurant now accepting All major crypto for payments on: April 25, 2021, 08:43:44 PM
Hindi kaya sila mag-aalala pagbumaba bitcoin? Kasi ako kung ako nasa pwesto nila hindi ko kaya or hindi ko matatanaggap na bumamaba bitcoin lalo na yung recipe and mamahal. Pag mababa yung bitcoin or nasa flat line ng napakatagal pano yun? diba?

That are the risks (price volatility) na kailangan mong tanggapin pag gusto mong mag accept ng bitcoin/crypto payment.

Pag ang aim mo as a business is pag maka receive ka ng bitcoin/crypto payment, ay e withdraw/convert mo to fiat agad for the purpose na mag add/restock ng supply then parang di ka magtatagal talaga dyan.
Pero if long term goal mo, like yung na receive mo na crypto payment will be a short term investment then mas better yun, convert to fiat pag alam ng malaki na kita.
Yes, Price volatility is a given risk sa gantong move. I'm sure that the owner knows na pwede siya malugi ng malaki dito kung sakali mag sibabaan na ang price ng crypto.

There's also one scenario that I am thinking, Baka ginagamit lang ng owner ng restaurant na yan ang chance nato para imarket ang kanyang restaurant sa potential customers. I really don't know anything about that restaurant pero almost lahat ng friends ko na naka like sa page nila is I know using crypto. And their crypto payment post got a lot of traffic to their page, It shows the effectiveness of the post.

If the owner is for the traffic, I think the owner is just for short term hodling.

Trading is pretty hard especially on your case that you rely on trading for survivial. I think you should study and learn more about trading. I hope you know the risk in entering the trading scene, Knowledge, Self control, Luck and other factor is needed on acquiring a successful trade. Pressure is one of your hindrance right now since you are trading for survival. I recommend to learn the fundamentals of trading first before trading with your available funds right now to make your winning chance higher.

I'll watch this thread.

Same situation ako bro. For me di masyado effective ang pure online class kahit sanay ako sa modular class style, Iba padin ang may halong face to face.

Nasa second sem na ako ngayon and nagkaka delemma ako if mag eenroll pa ba ako next sem or hindi, Sa sobrang dami ng requirements namin ay onti nalang time ko sa pag cryptocurrency at nanghihinayang ako sa opportunities ngayon bullrun. Alam ko sa sarili ko na hindi ko pa nailalabas full potential ko to use crypto this year. I have so many trading opportunities missed, Di nakakasabay sa Defi investment because of lack of research and other things dito sa crypto.

Thanks for this sir. It's true din kasi na parang wala na ko masyadong natututunan from my university, Puro na kasi requirements and wala na nag tuturo saamin eh. Portfolio based din kasi talaga sa IT industry. I think I'll stop na siguro this year and continue nalang sa pag selfstudy and sa pag crypto.

If you wish to learn more about poker, you should try playing with us! As I remember we had some "poker newbies" in our series here, and I think they learned a lot. Because we talk about poker, we point out interesting situations and we discuss them like we discuss different poker strategies!
If you see me right now, you would probably think that I am a meth addict scratching the unscratchable itch because I really want to play against other players but my schedule is full and the only leisure that I have is when I am sleeping right now believe when I want to join you guys but the time I have doesn't permit me to do stuff.
You can pass on that session now if your schedule doesn't permit you, You can still practice or play on your own time choice. Their casino is open all the time so you can practice there. If you don't want to play fiat, It's ok to find applications that offer dummy credit to play with like the Zynga Texas Hold'em you are playing.

Hey I recognize you in our Local Section (Pilipinas).
Did both of you used Coins.ph to transact without fees?
That seems the most popular wallet here in the Philippines that is crypto-related. Cheesy

Edit: I saw your reply mentioning that both of you indeed used it. Forget about my question.
Let me just ask this new question instead.
 - Does your friend have any plans to adopt it as an alternative payment in the future? Because you mentioned that he don't really use his Bitcoin wallet that much.

It would be nice if his friend joins this forum and make a thread for a promotion for his business in the Local Section(Pilipinas) to gain potential customers and for him to realize that there are many people willing to pay using bitcoin.

I've used coins.ph often on ordering on my favorite local eCommerce platform. Coins.ph is easy and reliable to use for Philippine-based customers if transacting to merchants in my experience.
2706  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will drop to 20k is not time to buy btc now on: April 22, 2021, 10:22:13 AM
No chart, no proof or anything? Your speculation is invalid right away. There are too many people like this spreading the FUD now and I hope that people today know their intentions.

Only noob invest now on btc on peak price
Not all the time. Though it's not the best move to buy at the peak price. There are many who bought at a high price and sold at a higher price. The recent ATH of bitcoin showed us many checkpoints of ATH prices and those who bought that time gained profit from bitcoin.
2707  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: my trading is a fail help me, thanks on: April 21, 2021, 08:35:25 PM
your strategy isnt fail because you won several trades
This cannot be a case for all the times because some strategies will be working for particular time frame after that if you keep using that same strategy then you will never able to find profits. I have experienced such thing in my trading career. Honestly I could not figure out what I am missing but how it was working for me before to make good profits.

Finally I concluded like this: market is switching over to some different kind of pattern which is not at all predictable with that same strategy.
I agree with this, Not every time a certain strategy will work as you experienced it on successful trades. Sticking into one strategy could be profitable if you do it right but there are some strategies that can be more efficient depending on the trading scenario. So the more knowledge and experience you have is the better your winning chance is.

With the fast-changing market trends. It's not bad to rely on people on social media like Facebook but make sure that you learn from it and rely on yourself when you learn.

2708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: At $7.5 Dogecoin will be more valuable than BTC on: April 21, 2021, 07:52:28 PM
A good example of a trader who licked a profit from doge and shilled doge so hard. DOGE reaching the $3 mark within few weeks or even months is basically impossible. If DOGE reached the $7.5 mark it would basically go on par with the Bitcoin market cap. Remember that DOGE does have an infinite supply and no matter how shillers try, DOGE is still a meme coin. When the hype is gone, The value of doge will crash.
2709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 21, 2021, 07:02:51 PM
That makes sense, but if he retires, I think he can still come back like Floyd did in the past. I mean he will retire beacuse he will focus on the campaign, but what if he did not win, maybe he will go back in boxing again as his current post in the government now seems he can still handle it while being active in boxing.

At this point, I don't think that Pacquiao has a great chance to win the elections. He will be doing a mistake by jumping in to the election bandwagon before he is ready. And in case he performs poorly, then it will affect his chances in the future as well. IMO, it would have been better for him to wait until the next presidential election. Being a celebrity doesn't guarantee immediate electoral success. Nowadays people are more educated and aware about what is happening around them.
In the Philippines there are many celebrities that became government officials because of their status, One of them is Manny Pacquiao. I can see Manny Pacquiao having a good intention on our government and doing his best to fulfill his job. Manny is recorded to have the most absence on his term in 2016 because of his recent fights, But today with his lesser number of fights, His attendance has improved. So if he won the next election in 2022 I think he will take the senate job seriously and there's a chance that he will retire from his boxing career.

So this pops up KYC only for a few people.

I still checking right now, logout my account and login back every time still not getting any pops up to fill up some information of my Identity. Well, don't have any plant for doing KYC just want to check for this pops up KYC.

But, I believe only a few user who got this pops up issue KYC.

I feel that it is related to the use of VPN, perhaps those who gets the pops up are those who use VPN while playing on roobet. Maybe those who gets the pops up can confirm here in this thread whether they use VPN or not. Just curious how some players get it but some other not. Official information from roobet would be better indeed so we do not need to speculate.
I never used VPN when accessing Roobet or any browser extension/tools that can modify my IP when I am gambling on Roobet before so VPN would be out of the question. There are some gamblers that haven't required to do the process of KYC yet like @ryzaadit. It would be better to withdraw all of the funds ASAP if you don't want to submit KYC to them. I hope that roobet knows that this issue could greatly affect them negatively.

Sobra sobrang hype din kasi ang meron itong DOGE na to ehh, After a big pump sigurado a big correction will happen. I hope nabenta mo na yung nakulimbat mo na doge kasi I can feel na bumibitaw ng yung ibang traders sa doge ehhh.
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The future of AME on: April 20, 2021, 07:59:50 PM

It has already pump again, so it has a capacity to pump, any development will be useless if there's no trust of the investors due to their bad reputation, so they need to solve every problem, particularly to the bounty hunters as they help this project to succeed.
Amepay is one of the projects that have been successful in 2021 and their team continues to develop the project well and in my opinion the bounty participants have a big enough share in increasing amepay so that it is better known by investors, but the payment for bounty participants has been completed?
because as far as I know the Amepay project runs in 2 phases and the first phase the participants have received their payment while for the second phase at that time the bounty manager said if waiting for the payment of the participants for reasons that gas is quite expensive and if we look at etherscan.io, but the cost of gas is still too expensive , does that indicate that the bounty participant has not received payment from the manager?
There are still bounty hunters that haven't been paid yet because of the high gas fees of the Ethereum blockchain. Bounty hunters are rallying up in the bounty manager telegram group about the delayed payment but the manager stated that he is not holding the funds for the bounty. The AMEPAY team is the one who will pay the bounty hunters. When the distribution comes, I am expecting that amepay will experience a sudden dump because of the bounty hunters that are waiting to sell their amepay for cash.
2714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why risk management is so important for Every Trader. on: April 20, 2021, 07:21:56 PM
I can't agree more. Everyone probably "knows" what they should do, but the reality is that even if you have the information for it, you may not end up doing it because of emotions, that is the biggest problem. I have seen way too many people make trades based on their emotions for the past few months.
-snip-
Trading with volatile emotions can lead to fatal problems. Losses will continue to loom over if emotions cannot be controlled. novice and professional traders alike have emotions. some of them are able to control their emotions because of the experience that has been quite a lot, but some people are still unable to control their emotions.

risk management, capital management will fall apart if emotions cannot be controlled.
Stable Emotion is one of the factors of a good trader. Management skills are also a factor and if you have those factors in you, Your trading winning rate would be practically higher than anyone lacking it. Just not having one can greatly affect your chance of winning a trade.

Risk management is one of the important things that the trader should do as a habit, Doing risk management needs good control of emotion, especially in critical times like having a losing streak. Risk management could help you recover the losses but when emotion got messed up, The process that you executed will do nothing.
2715  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 20, 2021, 06:48:17 PM
I just checked my account.

After login to "Roobet" I don't have a pops up KYC to my account, well even you not getting the pops up but according to ToS before this issue brought it today you still need to pass the KYC while they need you to do that.
I received a KYC pop-up just today after few weeks of not visiting Roobet. I won't fill up this one especially with fake information, Roobet might not require KYC right away but might require KYC when the gambler withdraws from the casino. It's a good thing I don't leave my money to the casino or else I need to do the KYC procedure.

I would appreciate it if roobet announced this KYC implementation when they modified their TOS.
2716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 20, 2021, 05:58:20 PM
Using eth or eth-based token for gambling is a pain in the as* because of the expensive fees of that network. Using Bitcoin at a right time can be justifiable it's just you need to avoid the time when mempool is not congested. For the past few months, I am using XRP to play on casinos, I have no problem with fees and the transaction time but I am only using it for a maximum of a 1-day gambling session. The volatility of XRP is the one that worries me especially if I'm not confident with its market price. There are other good altcoin candidates that have low transaction fees that are suited for gambling deposits but It will all depend on the gambler.
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not panic sell when there is dump on: April 20, 2021, 06:10:06 AM
This is the plain truth, I totally agree with the op, but just like some other guy already said here, it's easier said than done, I have been a victim of this circumstances many times I can't remember, but my last experience taught me a bitter lesson, now, I've learnt the hard way, I've always sold all my holdings at a little pump cus of fear that the market might start dumping, I sold all my 28 Ethereum last year at the price of $450 usd each, till today, am still regretting that decision, I've promised myself that I will never make such a mistake out of fear again, now, am determined to always hold until my target price is reached even if it will take 2 or 3 years, I no longer care.
Yeah, this kind of thing that affects our psychology only best learnt from our own experience by making stupid decision and regret it, I personally have missed the opportunity to sell high many times just because I was too early at thinking of dumping, I was also holding so many doges back then and sell it for some measly amount just because I thought the coin has no promising future somewhat turns out I was wrong but such thing definitely out of my control so regretting just gonna adds the pressure and stress lol. Now I become more chill though, dumping and pump usually I don't really care as long as the coin is good and promising enough for long term.
For a coin like Doge, It is very hard to predict that it will pump on the kind of price level we are seeing today. Essentially, Doge has no promising future at all. It's just Elon musk and the community makes that meme coin pump so hard for the sake of the meme. I know it's regrettable but the decision you did before was not entirely wrong if we base on doge fundamentals, As long as you take profit back then you're good.
2718  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: OH YEAH FRUSTATED TRADERS. on: April 19, 2021, 06:10:31 PM
I don't know many people who ended their trading career with gains.
What's your point?
Do you never hear a trader with a successful story in trading?
There must be many traders who succeed in trading. If you google, check on Youtube, or take a look on social media, you easily can get the information of successful traders in crypto. But ensure it is a trustable channel, don't be trapped in a promotion of a certain crypto coin!

*If no successful traders, all people must leave the crypto market! In fact, even stock traders move to the crypto market nowadays.  Wink
For sure lots of stocks and forex traders had jumped in into this market because of that volatility reason where it can give you out potential profits which is way more than that you can
potentially earn into those traditional markets.
How would someone will be quitting out trading if he's profitable? for sure people would continue on what they do and earn more as much as they can.Just like what been said
above that this is something that not suitable for all.
There are traders who do succeed and of course to those who do failed.
Traders are always chasing for an opportunity, Stocks and forex traders know that the crypto market is a good opportunity for them to get huge profits that's why they jumped in so quickly. In this crypto bull market, I'm sure that there are many traders that gained a lot, even newbies can possibly acquire profit on the market state right now. When the bear market arrives, The number of crypto traders will be reduced. Those who switched because of the bull market will go back to the market they are comfortable with.
2719  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Nosedive from $60K to $52K in 15 Minutes on: April 19, 2021, 05:07:31 PM
For me healthy correction yung nangyari, Hindi pwede na palagi lang massive pump ang mangyayari obviously kelangan ng panghuhugutan ang market. About sa news, Hindi ko alam if legit or yun yung dahilan ng dump.

Sa mga naka experience na ng big dumps like on 2017-2018 dumps, sigurado basic nalang sainyo to. The market is shaking of weak hands and whales are taking this opportunity to bag up. Yung dump ay nakapabilis so as ang pag bounce.

Less fee din since xrp.
