Buwaytress what do you have to say about your team going up against City this weekend? Any hope for Loserpool?
What's the update on Tennis guys?
Duh, 3-1. I normally go 3-0 or 4-0 but you know, we'll let in a goal or two or three, but everyone on the team wants to win this one, and we'll be extremely physical, which City really don't like. Nunez, Salah will bully. Don't think Diaz will play but maybe he surprises me. 55/10. That's got to be the best odds we'll get all season in EPL. We've never been the favourite against Citeh but Klopp and Reds love being the underdog. Tennis? Medvedev through, so no surprises yet, everything going to everyone's plan (except Harko and Tsitsi haha).

Well, hey, guess who's back in with another MLB outright winner? Nothing much, just a fiver, but I might be tempted to repeat the thing I did a few seasons ago (just pick a new outright every day til I have 5 or 6). Gotta make use of that daily baseball boost at Sportsbet. My first, as usual, BoSox @61.50 (boosted from 56/1!).

Here I am hoping that Fed makes good on their warning and either delay the June lowering or even extend these hikes to Q3. I'll even take a no-rate-movement policy for Q3.
Definitely looks like Bitcoin will rally as soon as they let the foot go off that pedal, though I'm also wondering if we're still in for a major crash shock (which I still think is around some corner).

The usual "nothing to hide" fallacy. Whoever said this should consider whether it's okay if his personal financial transaction shown to the public.
Yup. There is that Zuckerberg trial clip that makes its round every now and then, where he's asked if he's comfortable with certain personal information (not just identification data, but who he calls, where he goes, etc.) is shared or is made available. No surprise he said no in the most certain way. So he knew what he sanctioned wasn't even what he'd be comfortable with. I'm sure anyone who's ever said this would not jump into the same pan.

Took 2 penalties with this week's roster. Still actually have bench players with 1 game, and I feel like I need to keep Saka on anyway, hot form needs to be taken advantage of.
Salah back in my squad, but sold Haaland so it was a relatively easy transfer even with some money to spare. So yeap, banking on Liverpool winning big in 2 games, to cover the penalties.

I think tennis is the most boring sport in the world for me, it makes me sleep every time Yeah, tennis isn't for everyone, especially when some games can be played for 3 hours and more. Can't say that I watch it in detail, but I often turn it on in background to follow what's going on. What really makes me sleep is most of American sports like NBA or NHL. Not sport itself, but all these frequent and extremely long commercial breaks . And fact that most of their games is palyed when it's night in Europe also doesn't helps. Just in case someone one day quotes this, I did not say that, you intended to quote notblox1 Watch Alcaraz Fritz tomorrow, matches are shorter in ATP and more digestible, I do agree GS heavyweight 3-hour slugfests can turn people off (I do think with the Big 3 slowly phasing out, this is what I'll actually miss more and more), even I don't watch full games. Commercial breaks get me down big time too. Which put me off cricket for years but watching the short format T20 in Australia recently was very helpful.

Don't think anyone has a good strategy Betwrong. Odds and stats don't always help either, you know. I think form and a good knowledge of lineup and strategy is best, but ain't nobody got time for that!
2 are my favourites, 2 are my unwilling loyal picks, the rest are likely randos (Mitoma, Wood, DCL)
My MD29 stars: Salah, Mitoma, Wood, Zaha, Saka, Almiron, DCL

Ditto on above discussions, also why I opted for Maguire instead of Varane. Too big a game, and Maguire will be pissed at his Euro sending off, enough to be fit and motivated. I put Elanga down instead of Antony, because I feel like he impressed in the last game (3 minutes, 1 goal haha) and maybe ETH will want fresh legs against brutal Toons. Also, someone only LFC_Bitcoin also picked... very pleased to have a like-minded genius/idiot in this BSFL hahaha. Harko you did put "Anthony" there, so... is that also Elanga or a typo of Antony? If so, then we only have Dalot/AWB as a different answer... Just few hours after my previous post here, Tsitsi-pass decided to pass on ATP Miami tournament 😒; Just a question if both opponents picks do not make tennis finals, does the player that advances the most in the tournament gets the advantage in the H2H question?
Nope. We are grading only your answers in final. So you can get from 0 to max 3 points in your H2H duel. Just saw that Harko, haha, I tell you, give up on Tsiti. He was my one hope for a shakeup seasons past but I think we have to move on now. To whom, I don't even really know really. Of the "new crop", I liked the Russians but now Rublev and Medvedev are supposed to be in their prime and going nowhere consistent, I even maybe am growing to like Alcaraz a little, Sinner at times is Djoko-like and Rune is maaaaybe a Haaland of tennis but maybe I'm old or no longer easily excited but I don't feel any strong liking for anyone in tennis right now. Caveat: I hardly follow tennis and only watch big games, so my bias is extreme =)

Sometimes that type of games happens, and even though it is rare individually, it is common as a concept. I mean like Czech team doesn't get 1.18 that commonly, and if they ever do, they win that game and it is very very rare for them to lose that type of game. So when you look at that individually, what happened was a rare thing.
But, if you look at "a team that has 1.20 odds to win, ended up losing" deal then it becomes a bit more common and that is why I believe that in general as a concept it's not rare at all. Last year I had a parlay, a ticket that had 8 games, and 7 of those were under 1.40 odds, and you would expect the single game with high odds to make me lose right? SIX!! of the teams with 1.40 chance ended up losing, it happens.
Trust me, I know all about that, even keep a thread that's almost exclusively on upsets worse than that. So I was surprised, but not shocked. Nothing shocks me anymore when it comes to football -- Saudi vs Argentina in the World Cup was probably the one that last came very close to making me "shocked". Don't usually go for 1.4s on my parlays but I've got plenty of 5 legs of 15/10s that end up all red, so yeah, also not a shocker. Some people like handicaps in that way but I feel like the hit to odds are too strong for me.

^ I'll never forget Ansu Fati. His final goal for Barcelona during that night's group stages gave me the exact goals predicted to win my first Sportsbet prize -- a trip to Doha to see LFC. Always felt he had more to give and I hope his club's woes don't result in him losing out.
Anyway, one of the tightest round of La Liga games I've seen. Only Valladolid have odds above 10/1 and that's away. Not even Elche gets that at home. Real don't care, they haven't had many contributions to Spain national team in a while but Barca will hope their stars shake off the crap night they had!

^ Jerseys never last with me, I use them a lot, and also even with normal wear I have particular stain-making organisms at home that ensure I never have a good piece of clothing in weeks.
Tantalising round of games coming up and I feel ultra confident we'll get a win from Pep's team, even if Haaland's fully fit. Luis Diaz is back in training but he won't make it, shame.
55/10 is what I got, and I think it's super value, but I wonder if Villa and Saints away (also around 5/1) also make pretty betslips? And yellow cap contenders? Heh heh
Re: Gerrard at Rangers, I think he really did a really good job there. Rangers were second fiddle to Celtic for a decade. Low on confidence, low on spirit, and they also had a great European run. He needed to stay a bit more, though. Just far too soon for Prem.

I haven't checked the spreadsheet yet, but I feel bad the my opponent didn't deem it fit to give me a couple of head start, I would have appreciated a 2-3 nil head start, so why you gotta do me like that, huh ? Best of luck anyways mate. I didn't even bother check if either of the tennis finalists I picked were supposed to have a match before the end of the deadline, lol, that'd be some blow and disadvantage if one of them is out already. Heh. We had the same answers so today is not of interest to us both. Freebet points in play but Spain let us down... McTominay who would have thought? Tsitsi final would have been my pick a couple of tourneys ago but I have given up on the Greek. Great call though, he just has to overcome Medvedev... So we might even know the winner of that question before the final.

Nevertheless the biggest surprise of the evening yesterday night was without a doubt Czech Republic not being able to win against Moldova at Moldova home, the odd of them was 1.18 to win, this shows that the ball is round and that we should not bet based on odds but based on our knowledge.
Yeah, that was, in fact, the only upset of the night. I'd lost money on a number of games, Estonia actually made it to half time with the lead but Austria set things right -- this one should have been at least 5/1 on double chance or handicap, sort of a shame I overlooked it, but you know, who doubts the Czechs after their recent form? Georgia is actually only a bit of the underdog vs Norway. Sign of the times, huh?

Horrible games, not a chance, and I almost breathed relief when Estonia relinquished their lead (as I didn't bet on them). Israel's my only pick for today, again, odds look tempting but only as they play away. They have a bit of trouble back home so might be more motivated to win this one, no? 100 units at Fairlay on Israel to WIN vs Switzerland @8.31. Other odds: 8 Units advantage: 31 Running advantage after 42 bets: +4145 (+31) All-time cumulative: +87,225 Running units after 41 bets (7W|34L): +2846 (-200)

**stretches to go back to Superbru and see what picks they're suggesting (assuming that the chronology in the drop down is ranked by probability?).
Australia, if I remember, made some changes to their track last year, but I can't remember if it was to make it harder or easier haha. Headlines are calling fastest race in Melbourne ever, so I suppose that means wider tracks, maybe straighter?
AT dead bottom after 2 races, if they get nothing from here, I'm really going to have to rethink my support...

Back to business end, everyone? Morocco now joined by Algeria as certain contestants for next year's edition. I admit I haven't been following these qualifiers a lot, and probably a good thing too... as I see the regular favourites getting wins while the guys I backed in last edition haven't (looking at you, Madagascar!).
Time to back one of the virgins: CAR, Congo, Guinea, Nigeria (duh) and Sudan? They all won the last game.

^ Thanks for the explanation. I understood precisely what was meant, of course, but yeah, just being a deliberate ass about the wording 3 [alone] = 3+0 [combined] = 2+1 [combined] was the possible trick misunderstanding I just thought BTTS prevents. Monday and is it weird I can't easily figure who won't play for United Sunday?
