Grab your specials in before matches start in 13 minutes! JWP to score a freekick against United at 15/1 -- that's me Wink

Also took the freebet promo and that's me on over 1.5 goals by HT, not as ambitious as boltz.

Congrats on your win, @buwaytress! You are not showing the bet size, but something tells me that it wasn't a below $0.50 bet like I usually make. Smiley I think you won something good, I congratulate you on that.

Nah, I just don't want to embarrass myself. Believe me, if I ever do a Hhampuz size bet (for example), I'll be sharing it here. At least, that's how I feel right now. I suppose if I really were in that situation, I'd feel differently.

Southampton should have a nice super boost tomorrow, if so, I'll double down on my bet Wink
Optimistic bet, but you are hiding amount of money you bet on them so I hope you won't be disappointed a l lot if things go in your direction  Wink
If I was looking for surprise bet tomorrow in Premier League I would choose Newcastle vs Wolves and I am not sure if Arsenal is going to win so easy against Fulham.

My season's so bad already I'm just looking for bits of excitement here and there. All good, I'm still having fun!

15 minutes before the end of the game and the score is 1-0 in favor of Spezia. Inter victory quote is already 12.5  Cheesy
Damn what a random league this is! By the way, I missed Inter and Roma in my selection, but I hope that Juventus and Milan will not be able to screw up in front of their fans and achieve victories.

It actually got a lot more dramatic than that. 3 minutes from time Lukaku converts a penalty, then Spezia get their own one 2 minutes later. 2 shots on goal, including the penalty, and 2 goals. That's smash and grab, and why I love these kinds of odds on football!

Nice win buway I saw you shared it in Sportsbet ANN. Are you going against Juventus today?

So let's hope Italians give me good vibes. Sampdoria @11.17!

Good luck with that, I ran out of boosts, and it's not even 9/1 when I'm looking now, so you took a fantastic value bet I think! On the other hand, I do have Salernitana against Milan tomorrow for 10/1, hope both Milan teams give me joy this week!

Think I'm really are headed for a draw with my man LFC_Bitcoin, but I'm not sure how the baseball schedule works. Looked from what seems to be the official website and I think the last games are today, but then that would mean Czech playing 3 times, already and the last 2 games today GB and Nicaragua right?

2 points apiece, we would both have lost in most other matchups, so it's fair!

I'm in the PotterOut camp, but at this point we are just rooting for our team and making sure we win for the fans instead of for Potter because we know he won't be fired anytime soon. I also support the MountOUt camp because I believe that if he isn't ready to accept the current contract extension, he should be shipped off to Liverpool for 50 million pounds in the summer because he hasn't done anything special to demand more than 200k per week. Leicester might get relegated at this point if they keep Rodger.

Salah sold you guys today; he is turning into a joke.

Mount to Liverpool? Havertz, Pulisic, turned us down for more money to go to you guys, why would Mount come when he's never been on our radar anyway haha. 200k per week, yeah good luck asking for 100 even with us.

Salah just wants to help give his old club a helping hand and hope for top 4 =p

Felt good with this round of Majestic 7 until I saw Bournemouth scoring a goal in against Liverpool first before HT.  I'm like 'ah it's one of those days.'.  Now I feel like my pick for the match, Salah, isn't getting one in.  Lol.

The best result I had this season is 4 right picks just last week.  Lol.  When was the last time somebody won 10k?  I think it was at the first month of last season.

Yeah, and Salah missing the penalty, which doesn't happen often. Not that it matters, I had Nunez on. Saw you had Felix, too bad his goal got chalked off.

Last winner? First game of the season actually... and IIRC might even be the season before last! Time is a blur for me, and MajSev is not my thang anymore (if it ever was, I do recall many freebets before).
1985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⭐⚽⭐ Sportsbet's Bitcointalk Sports Fanatics League (BSFL) – 5000+$ rewards ⭐⚽⭐ on: March 11, 2023, 06:42:30 PM
Funny how BSFL is making me think of games I wouldn't even watch, never mind bet on (Leicester-Chelsea). Odds are crap. Form is crap. Ige will end up mad, regardless of the result haha.

I'd have a question on who gets the sack after this game, but both clubs seem intent on keeping Rodgers/Potter!

We currently have the most pathectic fan base on Twitter football, we the Mount vs. Havertz, PotterIn, and PotterOut fanbases. If Chelsea loses, the PotterIN supporters will hoist the banner and demand more time. If Chelsea wins, Todd Boehley will extend his lifeline by another 6 months and offer him a bottle of beer to celebrate.

if Leicester loses Rodeger might get the Red letter by Monday morning.

So bye bye Rodgers, huh?

I'm yet to figure out which camp you're in, but then I'm one to talk. Depending on which social media feed I accidentally trip on, Liverpool supporters/fans are either frothing at the mouth to kick out Klopp, or saying that the Nunez/Gakpo amazeballs duo will rip the league apart next season.

I'm not really in any camp except "let this nightmare pass and please fix our midfield".

Then one day after running and playing trough several seasons of BSFL we will be ready to win every pub quiz in existence  Grin Dream big guys

Only really played 2 "pub quizzes" before and it was hellish. Premier League questions about players I never watched, or cricket and rugby. Of course, the age group mattered...

Wait till a Baseball World Classic question comes up and I jump out with the answer haha...
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: EFL English Championship League 2022/2023 on: March 11, 2023, 05:09:20 PM
Pretty damned good odds, I'd have gone with that as well but I'm on a Championship fast at the moment, trying to claw back elsewhere and back to upsets -- which doesn't really happen in this league with the odds that interest me.

Too bad you didn't win. Would have had blanks today as well, misses from my usual fav Boro (even if Burnley and Blades did take 3 points).
1987  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Group Stages on: March 11, 2023, 03:36:55 PM
But for sure that's my fantasy manager mentality.

United definitely feels like a timebomb I couldn't agree more. He has improved them all, won a trophy and now expectations are so heavy on people like Rashford.

I don't know, Liverpool holds the time bomb really and it ticked and blew over today just minutes ago.

United can't end this season badly. If they don't qualify in top 4, they weren't really expected to. They already won a trophy, and that's bought a lot of time for them. Rashford thrives on pressure, like all good talents. He'll be fine.

That said, I'm all for United losing every game possible heh.
1988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Conference League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Round of 16 on: March 11, 2023, 02:31:54 PM
I should mention that there were no surprises among the matches played yesterday. West Ham won 2-0 away from home to secure their place in the competition, and any away win is a big advantage for any team. It was also important for Villareal to get a draw against a strong opponent like Anderlecht.
The only team that will struggle with these results seems to be Basel. A 2-2 draw at home is not good news for Basel.

No surprises? I think Villareal was at least a slight upset, and even Hammers scoring two (Antonio, no less, who's had a barren spell in the league) is some sort of surprise.

But yeah I get it. Nothing shocking. In fact, there isn't any shock in store in Conference anymore, unless Djurgarden goes to the final...
1989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If AI were to somehow hack into Bitcoin Core on: March 11, 2023, 01:33:50 PM
Yeah you're probably right, I mean nothing is impossible though right? Look all I'm saying is that the rate of computational power is still doubling every 2 years if I'm not mistaken.
It doesn't matter how much computational power you have if I refuse to run your code. You can hack the whole of GitHub and upload malicious software in to every repository in existence, not just Bitcoin Core. None of that achieves anything unless people actually download and run your malicious software.

And of course as the computational power of a malicious attacker increases, then the computational power of honest users, honest nodes, security software, etc., also increases at the same rate.

Exactly.

Even if CCCP and every bigwig in the world got together and did a 99% attack, go ahead. I'll sit back and wait, the good nodes (some already we know on this forum) will reorganise, they'll all be stuck with their useless chain, see how much debts they'll be sitting with after that.

Would probably be super inconvenient at worst, but we'll get over it and be stronger for it.
1990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 11, 2023, 01:00:40 PM
Anyone else watching the early game? Frustrating as usual, but we do look like we're back to our offensive clicking, Nunez, Gakpo and Salah are a bit better playing together. Robbo and Trent are actually switching flanks a bit, and being more offensive, and Fabinho doesn't look as shitty as he has been almost all season... but we let Solanke beat our trap a couple of times and it's nerves all over again... had they better finishers they might be more than a goal ahead.

1 shot on target, one goal. We had 4...

Trofo actually picking Sevilla's a surprise for me Wink
Sevilla in EL is same as Real in CL. That is their home turf and safe place, they will win even if they play just 10 minutes of proper football Smiley

I can already see Liverpool next week playing like crazy, making chance after chance, Real nowhere to be seen, then Liverpool scores one goal towards the end of first half. Second half starts more of the same, Liverpool scores another goal, maybe even two, reds start to believe and then Modrić finds Benzema with outside of his foot out from nowhere and Real passes trough.

Yeah, it will most likely be a repeat of the last final. We'll probably make Courtois seem like a fantastic keeper again. And then we finally get one goal at the death of first half, for all our effort.

And then maybe another after the restart, game on Liverpool we need only 1 more to secure ET... then Benzema/Vinicius recover from their dementia and remember how to score goals.

Still... it'll be fun and hopefully cryptofrka gets a memorable outing!

Nice promo, ampera. Been a while since I flexed on casino wager, but I'm too busy with sports betting these days (and even that's a pale shadow of the activity I used to have).

Anyone feel good about this week's MajSev? Most of the prolific teams are in on the list, and teams like Liverpool are on the rise. Salah? Nunez? Gakpo? Damn =D
1993  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀-Sportsbet.io-🚀 - Main sponsor of Southampton FC 👋👋 on: March 11, 2023, 09:44:36 AM
For the first time in a while, I had a good start for the weekend. No love for Spezia but Inter have been wobbly, even when dominating.

So plenty of upsets eyed today, but I'll take a good Liverpool win away for losing everything else.

Southampton should have a nice super boost tomorrow, if so, I'll double down on my bet Wink

1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Italian Serie A ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2022/2023 on: March 10, 2023, 08:40:27 PM
^ Nicely done, as usual, I probably don't need to congratulate people anymore, they're doing what they're doing and I'm not making life difficult for anyone anywhere in the pools heh.

I took a bet against Inter in the end today. Trying to regain my old composure of just picking underdogs and I have to say, I feel good about my chances. Not because Spezia are amazing, but because Inter seem to want to do badly. HT 0-0 still gives me hope...

Yeah a bit disappointed with Arsenal last night, though the result isn't actually a bad one away at a tough location to a tough team. LFC_Bitcoin and I are finely even at the end of Friday so it's a weekend to decide the round.

Trofo actually picking Sevilla's a surprise for me Wink

Sportsbet doing an early Arsenal payout, and still a good number of games to go? Generous, but that's awesome to hear. Think this is at least the 3rd season in a row you guys have paid out early on outrights, good on ya Gooners who believed in your team from the get go.

Crazy for anyone who placed their outrights before today... insta doubling!

Meanwhile, me waiting with Liverpool outrights every season (haha).

@cryptofrka Yeah, City's still a favourite for me. Hope I'm wrong!

Unpopular to recommend but I'm with mk4 on "get a job".

I think the danger with Bitcoin or any kind of investment is people get enamoured with the promise, and then abandon themselves and their careers/skills/livelihood. So save yourself time and use it to get better value for youself.

If you're like me or most people, you can't really afford to deep dive and entrench yourself in it. Instead, do your job well, upskill, gain experience, focus on yourself, and you'll be able to expand your income -- and then DCA strategy benefits.

That's the long-term solution. No magic bitcoin tree.
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you interpret the fluctuation of Bitcoin price ? on: March 10, 2023, 01:10:39 PM
Bad news is arguable =)

If you're a trader/speculator and you've got expiring long bets, sure.

If you're a DCA guy and you haven't met your target hoarding (hello, that's me), then it's more time and opportunity to get Bitcoin below $20k, knowing that's not going to last forever.
1999  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin go back to 19000 on: March 10, 2023, 11:53:36 AM
Right now price is trading at the 200 day average which is not especially in its movements, this is some guide long term and its possible for price to turn around before it reaches 19k.   The problem at present might be banks have sold off which puts more stress on finance then the rest of the market and I suppose that has to include crypto and BTC despite being especially distinct from FIAT operations.
Jan 12th area was most recently 19k and further back its reasonable a foot hold is found here but with weekend approaching this might not be clearly established until next week.

So yeah, clear as mud. Honestly didn't see it coming. Even with Powell's weird messaging on interest rate hikes, markets didn't immediately respond -- guess it took a while to sink it. Dollar's once more rising against euro and other currencies, and as expected Bitcoin's following suit.

So I think that's the cue for the next year or so. Dollar strength, and all reliant on what the Fed does.
2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2022/23 | Last 16 on: March 09, 2023, 07:39:22 PM
Arsenal.... what are you doing?

But yeah I'm with casper here. Juventus and Sevilla, stay away please. They're too busy either trying to qualify for UCL or avoid relegation. This trophy might come with prize money comparable to a few good buys but neither team will fancy their chances to go all the way.

Now Betis upset? Sounds like my kind of bet Wink
