2701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bithatchain 0% premine x11/pow/masternodes Welcome on: June 28, 2019, 11:46:08 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5144815.msg51118548#msg51118548
You already have a coin. What happened to the last coin?
Why did you decide to do one more?

Waiting what the dev's answer here. Also, 0% premine is great. Features are great. But if there is no real application for the coin, it might not advance in the future. The availability of the coin to known exchanges is also one of the major factors to consider in the development. If it will be listed to small and unknown ones, I don't think the adoption will be achieved here.
2702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many people will fall for BitConnect 2.0 on: June 28, 2019, 11:20:55 PM
How can people have the mind to relaunch this platform again after causing several damages to its users??. Nevertheless, I won't be shocked to see people participating in it again, as people hardly learns from their mistakes and this time around the result will be brutal.
Let's always endeavour to carry out due diligence on any platform we will ever wish to get involved with whether in this space or in the world out there.

I believe those who will fall for this project are mostly noobs who don't know the history of bitconnect. But for old-timers, they might jump in for short-term gains but will not look at it as a long-term investment. The bottomline is to gain profit for most traders, they don't care about the history nor the current developments of the project.
2703  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: June 28, 2019, 11:05:53 PM
This is the scenario on how you manage your money but this two are same for long term run you can choose bank for saving your money but its also a small percentage then if you are risk taken you can go investment for Bitcoin or other trusted cryptocurrency take note invest only at your risk.

It is up to your personal preferences when it comes to your money. Savings in a bank will ensure you that you have that money even after few years of being stagnant. Interest is very very small in banks so don't expect that you will get something at the end unless you place it in a time deposit or other financial options that will earn more money as compared to traditional savings account. Whereas, investing your money to other projects will have the risk of losing all of it. But if you invest it on tangible projects that you know very well and you know it will do good in the market, then, your investments might get profit after certain period of time. Crypto investments is a very high risk one so you might want to look for other options other than crypto.
2704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Xiropht (XIRO): Fast, Lightweight and Portable Centralized Cryptocurrency. on: June 28, 2019, 09:39:00 PM
Fast and effective coin. Wallet is the best I have ever used. Easiest to set up for a new user. Miner is easy to use and doesn't take much time to get it up and running. The transaction speed is super fast. And the security of the coin is superb. At least 12, maybe as high as 20 layers of encryption on all levels total. From wallet, to transfer, to receiving. Best to come out in a long time.
Lot of new users in a short period of time. That is a good sign.

The features might be great, but they might struggle with adoption. Though you are mentioning a lot of new users already, yet, we will know in time if this will really hit in the market. Right now, you can't tell its real performance because users just got onboard. We will see if the enthusiasm of those users will not fade as the project goes on.

ANN has been out a week or so. I'll give it time. YES. But it is the best coin I,personally, have used. in terms of time to send, receive and security. Easy for all to use and utilize, no matter your skill level. On a scale of 1-10, i am about a 6.5 as a user.  And for advanced users there is the block explorer and ability to see all the information one would need to help diagnose a problem. And being able to download all of your transactions in a few seconds is a real bonus for those that like to keep track of information they are utilizing.
But I agree. Time will tell.

First off this newbie doesn't know what he is talking about cos the coin code is closed source. There is no fucking way for him to validate that the security is up to par and he is just regurgitating what he heard others say cos it sounds good to him. . As for the block explorer, u can only see transactions you made with others. There are several specification touted by the dev with absolutely no way to verify that its not all gas and as i aforementioned before, his decision to support a scammer and try to use unscrupulous tactics to defend himself places a lot of question on his integrity. when you have a centralized coin with a closed source code, all you can really rely on is the dev's integrity and i personally don't think his is worth the risk to support of his centralized coin. And this is coming from a guy who has invested close to ! BTC into this project before dealing with the shady integrity that i aforementioned.

In the long run, this project will go nowhere as it is centralized. Very few centralized platforms really hit it off in the market. I wonder how long they will survive in this tough competition. Even if they are boasting the ultra-fast tx feature, if only few people are using it, then I don't think this will go far. Couple of months from now, we will have idea if this project will survive at the very least.
2705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: June 28, 2019, 09:32:33 PM
Oh, it's not new scheme  Smiley I already got like 3 or 4 same "offers" (every time different, new fresh domain), mostly as pm's of few gambling sites, or as pm's in Discord (never in Telegram tho). First time I saw this was like a year ago I think.
Telegram is the most used platform for scammers and they are getting those telegram names from bounty threads because people were posting all their personal details which might be sold to scammers and can be used to steal lot of money.

And with this channel, they can easily delete their profiles once caught. They will send you a pm, saying something about investments, high return, etc. but if you ignore them, you will find out later on that they already deleted their account. Experienced such situation many times. Don't trust those scammers and never deposit any money to them for the hope of getting your money tenfold. It never will. They will run away as soon as they received your money.
2706  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos can use AI to get additional edge? on: June 28, 2019, 07:47:25 AM
I know that there are different types of AI. Based on my research, there are two types of it with many sub-branches after it. Type 1 and Type 2 AI (based on this reference)

For Type 1 it can be classified into two
  • Weak AI / Narrow AI - which is focused only on one task and that's it
  • Strong AI - it can perform tasks like a human being (scary it seems lol]

For Type 2 it can be classified into four and it is based on functionalities.
  • Reactive Machines - it's a basic form of AI and it's thinking on the present without using data or information from the past
  • Limited Memory - it bases it's actions with past data. The past information affects the future decisions (good for gambling maybe?)
  • Theory of Mind - an AI with feelings? They are able to understand peoples emotions
  • Self-awareness - like a human (we're not there yet)

For the usage of AI, I think the Machine Learning process on Type 2 limited memory machines would give a lot of chances to win because the more it takes on the information it could be learned on what it's doing and think of the best possible way to achieve the target. There is so much more application to AI that you can ever imagine, not just in casinos.

How Artificial Intelligence Is Shaping Online Gambling
AI is better at bluffing than professional gamblers

If type 2 AI is to be implemented in gambling casinos - combination of limited memory and theory of mind, that would really be scary. Gambler might not have the chance to win anymore. Before, everyone has the slim chance of winning, now with that combination, I don't think a gambler will ever win. But the question is, how much data and how long does it needs to collect data from the player to be considered that it acquired the necessary information to get the full grasp of the player's behaviour?
2707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TAO] Tao & AltMarket - Real Solutions for the Music Industry! on: June 28, 2019, 01:47:55 AM
Are you having an ICO or IEO

There was an ICO for Tao (originally XTO) back in 2016. It was done before the major ICO hype set it and it was done in a legally compliant way that did not count as a security, making it a rarity.

However, the FanMix.com platform will include "IAOs" (aka Initial Artist Offerings) for musicians - they have a large number of artists already onboard ranging from no-name up-and-coming artists to established big names.  Each artist token will only be tradable against Tao and so each one adds to Tao's value.

Make sure to read my posts upthread for more details, and feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Why is the coinmarketcap data for Tao missing? Also, where are the current exchange markets for TAO?

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/tao/

Are you going to release your 2019-onwards roadmap also? Your website shows up until Dec 2018 plans only.
2708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why drop in price when listed on exchange market? on: June 27, 2019, 11:16:23 PM
This as been a question running through my mind always. All ICOs have their ICO price and sales price.  The ICO price is usually lesser than the market price (that is why people invest to make profit when its listed).
But this days when coin is listed the price drop drastically much more than ICO price which left the investors of no profit.
What could cause this drop when listed?
Let's hear our own though please.

This price drop I think is very common. And it is caused by many people who sell coins. And the buyer's interest is so small that the price cannot afford back up. We must be cautious in investing but current market conditions are good. So that the coin has decreased slowly the price is back to rise.

This is the major struggle of most projects still holding their ICO or token sale. Most investors are now getting the trick of buying high potential coins when they hit in the exchanges rather than during the ICO period. The decline of price owed to many factors not just only those bounty hunters, but the private investors themselves or the team holding most of the coins. But if the platform is very solid with working app and users, they still have the chance to grow and increase its value after such dip in price.

2710  Economy / Gambling / Re: RATING of TOP 20 CRYPTOCURRENCY SPORTSBOOKS on: June 27, 2019, 10:36:30 PM
It's been a while since seeing a rating website.
Are these ratings based on your jurisdiction?
Have you considered user's users feedback on the particular site?
Moreover can you just justify how you have ranked the sites?
It's better to be transparent here in this place  , else people won't believe in your ratings.

In drawing up the ratings, we use an integrated approach: to evaluate the sportsbooks we take the opinions of the betting business experts and players feedback, as well as information about the websites of the bookmakers in global Internet traffic according to Alexa Rank (alexa.com). Despite this, it is impossible to make a rating that all users would agree with, since each individual player considers his favorite bookmakers the best.

The rating is just a guide to all users out there but it doesn't mean that those are considered to be the ultimate rating of those sportsbooks. You are right, you can't satisfy every single user with the ratings presented. What they can do, is try those sportsbooks and evaluate on his own. Anyway, they are not forced to believe all the information provided, just a rating to get a glimpse of those sites. It is up to them how they will use each of them.
2711  Economy / Gambling / Re: Saikoro | #1 Bitcoin Dice Roulette on: June 27, 2019, 10:06:06 PM
Yes it wont really be that easy.My suggestion? Put up a faucet then next, focus on marketing stuffs to increase exposure.

We got a faucet running on the website. You find it when you click on your balance. Smiley

Maybe integrate lightning network also for the deposit and withdrawal so small timers can play on your site. At least such payment method will only have a very small fee for transaction charges. It might help you in gaining players.

Also, if you can afford in the future, maybe run a promotional campaign like signature campaign here in the forum or other social media campaigns that will expose your gambling site to the public.
2712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling sites needs to be a mobile friendly or not? on: June 27, 2019, 09:13:20 PM
It does, with the growing advancement in smartphone industry it is logical to make it accessible
to phone users not only it could attract new gamblers on their site and it also could also increase their profit monthly.

I gamble sometimes from my phone, I have two poker apps, one for dollars 888, and american cards room, where I make deposits with bitcoin. I like gambling site to have app, I have a lot of free time on my work so I can gamble when I`m there and when I have that free time, sometimes more than couple hours, so what me to do, I turn on some poker and I lose some time. I like them, but that can`t beat big screen I have home, so I don`t judge the casino by having or not having mobile app, if casino is good I will go spend some time there.

You're lucky, you have a lot of free time at work.  Grin But anyway, for a gambling site to cater the different needs of every potential client, they need to develop a mobile-friendly app as well. This is great for all individuals who are always on the move, traveling using trains or bus. Playing by phone comes in handy for them. You won't open your laptop during those times, right?
2713  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will BNB become the king of all coins on: June 27, 2019, 08:41:47 PM
no, it will be the princess. libra the king, btc the queen, ada the duchess, bch the fool... you the plebs

Really? Libra, the king? I don't think so. BTC will always be the top crypto in my opinion. Libra has nothing to prove yet. Let us wait how it will perform in terms of adoption and usage to people. BNB is gaining their own audience but not all crypto users are using their coin yet. But btc? If you ask someone if he knows crypto, the first thing in their mind is bitcoin...
2714  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: June 26, 2019, 11:37:54 PM
Today I was able to claim from faucet several times without any captcha. But I did nothing to remove id, I didn't wagered any BTC and didn't bought any lottery tickets recently. So, is it was bug or something else?

I don't think it is a bug or a glitch in the system. Sometimes I encountered that also and sometimes you need to do the captcha several times but still you haven't got the right one. So I just refresh again the site and do the captcha once more. That's normal to every site that runs captcha, nothing to worry about.
2715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: June 26, 2019, 10:49:37 PM

The last time I checked Amir Khan fight against Manny will happen November 6 and I think it too early for us to discuss or make any prediction now for Khan seems to be waiting for such clash between himself and Manny. Therefore, rating Khan rating due to his previous fight won't provide the right prediction.

Nah, Amir Khan should wait for the outcome of the fight. But he said he wish Manny should win so that they could set up the fight. However, I think Amir should just concentrate on Kell Brook, it will bring more money as those two are local 'enemies'. Just like Marco Antonio Barrera and Erik Morales. But I don't know who is stalling the fight though.

Anyways, Amir Khan is already on the down spiral of his career and I doubt that Manny will give him a chance, he is more shot that Manny and it could be a mismatch, just saying.
Khan is already a wash up fighter, he just want to fight Manny to have a big paycheck prior to him retiring. Manny is immune to this trash talk, maybe what's get his ire is the way Manny Thurman disrespect him legacy specially about 'retiring him'. Anyways, has anyone got some update on the said injury of Pacman?

The bottomline of most fights is the paycheck that they will get after the fight, win or lose, many are still wishing to have a match with Pacquiao. He is considered to be one of the boxing legends already and he has still the power to fight. The trash talking of Thurman might be one way to promote their fight. We don't know his real intentions but he's getting the attention that he wants.

Odds update on sportsbet.io for this fight:

Last May 28, 2019 was
~
Manny Pacquiao: 2.06
Kieth Thurman: 1.68
sportsbet.io odds.
~

Odds now on sportsbet.io:

The changes were huge, any idea why this happened?
The last time I am still waiting to let Manny Pacquiao odds grow more, but now it's 0.02 odds only the lead of Keith Thurman.

Any negative news or event happened about Keith Thurman? Would appreciate it if you can share it.

Very slim gap between the two fighters. This might turn to be an interesting fight in the boxing this year.
2716  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1xBit.com - Betting, Bitcoin Sportsbook, Casino web-site| ONLINE SPORTS BETTING! on: June 26, 2019, 10:08:33 PM

The 1xbit team should clarify this issue.. Such problem is not really good to hear and you will doubt their real intentions why they build this business.

And considering that they are included in the top 20 of cryptocurrency sportsbooks on this site.

http://100bookies.com/cryptocurrency-sportsbooks-eng/

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5158369

their team isn't active anymore here , it's hard for them to keep hiding their scams so they decided to never open the forums here anymore
but it's a fact that they are scammers , don't you ever trust sites that do reviews cause referral money is only what they care about
the honest reviews you will get is only from forums like here and SBR

even one of the "reputable and old" sites like bit-edge has a kinda good review about 1xbit , but deep in his heart I'm sure he knows that he is reviewing a scam

It is true, not all reviews are honest and legit. Some of them are paid to provide positive reviews. The higher your payment is, the higher you are on the list. If you want to check what's really going on, you can always play on their site and challenge the features that they are proud of. With the allegations involving 1xbit, I seriously doubt they are authentic to the core. Be cautious!
2717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to fill bag with altcoin on: June 26, 2019, 09:27:19 PM
Yes. It's real time to buy altcoins. Because after long time market is going up. And I think it's a opportunity to make good amount. Now great time to fill up your wallet with potential altcoins.

Just be very careful in selecting which altcoin you want to invest with. You have to do your digging on this coin and evaluate if it has real potential in the market. Most of the newly-launched altcoins don't have the capability to survive in the market. If the devs' motivation to create such project has no real foundation, you will lose that money.

Maybe, stick to the veterans in the altcoin side. At least, you know their existence is already tested and proven.
2718  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] World's First Membership-based Cryptocurrency Exchange on: June 26, 2019, 08:42:39 PM
I hope the dev will visit again this thread as it is already full of bounty hunters' information. This is supposedly an ANN thread, which focuses on the discussion of the project, not a bounty thread. And since the dev is nowhere to be seen, just posting the OP, I don't think this project will gonna go where it should be heading. Just my thoughts...
2719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Research and Hardwork on: June 25, 2019, 11:51:17 PM
Despite my being conscious of the projects I partake in, by making sure I do the necessary research, I still discover that some project team cheat bounty hunters
This really happens in bounty, I've read complains before that there are projects that involves their team to cheat their participants. Research is part of being responsible, be it as an investor or bounty hunter. If you don't do such, you are swinging without knowing where you are going.

You really can't assure the authenticity of the project. Maybe, some of the failed projects don't have the intentions to cheat their bounty hunters but they can't give them appropriate compensation for the effort because of the lack of funds. That is why most projects resort to giving their worthless tokens. It is up to you if you will agree with their terms and conditions. So bottomline, it is up to the hunter if he will accept those terms and be ready for whatever is the fate of that project.
2720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why casinos want you to stay long in their area on: June 25, 2019, 11:21:20 PM
This seems like when people ask you why you live in this world? Every investors requires business and profit.
So it is obvious to see their casino sites and look more investment towards their site.
Tell me do you wish that casino live for long-term unless it is useful for you or you have involved.
If you are an investor, you should be hoping that casino would running for long time (you even want it running forever if it can) since you want a passive income from your investment. In other hands, if you are a gambler, you want to quit from that site as soon as possible when you have made profit

It really depends which side you are on. If you are an investor on a specific gambling site like you are investing on their bankroll, you want them to survive long enough and get back your investments along with profits but if you are a gambler, you want to earn as much money as you can. But very rare instance that a gambler can even breakeven with his losses and winnings. It is almost always you are on the losing side. However, the site wants you to play with them as long as you can and entice you with different bonuses and rewards programs. The longer you are playing with them, the more they earn from you.  Grin
