2761  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to just wait for the price of Bitcoin to come down. on: July 05, 2022, 10:11:45 PM
Why wait if you can DCA?

If you're going to wait for the lowest, you will never find it out or if you do then you're lucky to have it spot on. But the reality is that, many don't figure it out.

As you wait for the dip, you may miss that buying opportunity as the market is likely about to recover but we don't know, if the fall will come again and if it will make bitcoin pass back lower than $17k.
2762  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How trading during bear market can save your portfolio on: July 05, 2022, 09:12:13 PM
I don't see too much bear market this year as the current Bitcoin market situation is a usual occurrence, take 2018 for example similar market situation happen and yet we still hard all time high in 2021 even after the covid situation. Your trading formula is not different from the normal trading in between the market price, but then you have to understand one thing Bitcoin has a highly unpredictable market. Very volatile.
2018's bear market was different and it's really like the biggest. From $20k of bitcoin down to $3k, and compute how percentage was that.

This time, we can say that this is a better bear market.

Although there's also the huge drop for the entire market but, bitcoin is still up and it's the ATH of 2017.
2763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino can play a role in changing fortune? on: July 05, 2022, 12:08:55 PM
Great story and that's part of his history now.

But as a businessman, going with the casino with your last capital or money isn't really ideal. Many he just got really lucky and we can tell that it has changed his life then after that.

Although it's not just all about gambling but mainly his way of managing his business and that's why it has grown. Having that said, it's a very rare occassion to have the same story as his.
2764  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: July 05, 2022, 09:07:32 AM
There is some merit to this, but rather than saying it's the best time to get rich I would look at it as another opportunity because if done wrong it could also be the quickest way to go broke.
That's just the same meaning of what RK has said. But either way, it's the truth that he said. Well, the problem goes to the investor if he has cash at these moments.

It is the main reason now why everyone is going to keep their profits in cash or any stable coins during the bull run. So, whenever the market crashes again, we're all prepared to buy at those levels and we'll take the opportunity and advantage.
2765  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is a Museum of Bitcoin Mining History in Caracas, Venezuela on: July 05, 2022, 07:29:47 AM
I would like to visit that type of museum too. We can imagine that anyone who visits there is aware of bitcoin and you'll get to have a pal discussing about mining and everything about bitcoin once you're there.

I think those people that want to contribute a lot within their community and neighborhood that has the initiative can do the same. This is actually a good way of educating those folks that are not yet into bitcoin.
2766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: July 04, 2022, 11:06:44 PM
In my case nothing special. I've already gambled to help my family to pay monthly bills and thank God I achieved success on that.
I have also nothing special.

But you're better because you've helped your family and was able to pay the bills. I haven't done that to support and pay the bills through gambling. I may even spend the budget for the bills instead of paying it.

In other situations, I've ordered some pizza or restaurant food and bought virtual games. But usually what I most like doing with gambling profit is to save it and invest to keep growing crypto holdings.
Yeah, these are like the typical purchases that we have with the money that we get from our winnings.
2767  Other / Off-topic / Re: I think google is spying on us ,when our phones are in the room on: July 04, 2022, 05:33:23 PM
Not only google but every app that contains ads that we just hit the agree button without reading it.

They're like that and I don't know how do they call that but it's like an algorithm and everything that our phone hears from us, it's quick to register for those ads and they'll show to our feed.

The same goes for search for our PCs, whatever we search, there's the algo for the ads that will eventually come out later on.

they spy us via the phone microphones < -- it's illegal guys ,FBI needs warrant to tap phones , and Google does it without asking permission etc...
The same for Facebook too. But I'm sure they all know that but they did nothing or did they already?

And not only with the microphones but also with the cameras. So be careful with what you agree in permissions because it's important to have at least knowledge on what you allow and what you not.

Even if FBI sues google, they'll just pay them the fine.
2768  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and MLM Schemes on: July 04, 2022, 04:04:32 PM
According to the argument given by the earlier replies, a good MLM company offers products in return for the money spent on the registration.  Automatically, your money is returned in terms of products just like buying an item in the store.  Your money = products with the same valuation as the money spent. So basically people do not lose at all.  While money in gambling, when lost won't come back.
I don't consider an MLM as a good company. Products are too overpriced but that's what you get with your money instead of having no return from your purchase.

And aside from products, whatever incentive the MLM company gives will make them attract their customers to purchase those and not just the products alone.

2770  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be safe from Hackers on: July 04, 2022, 08:39:03 AM
This is the same of what I remember about a teen that has hacked all of those famous celebrities twitter accounts.

Big money were able to scam from their followers and the tactic was very simple and popular. But their followers have believed the scam because it was posted on these official accounts of popular personalities.

This was the news back then --> https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-56429204
2771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An alternative to gambling with money. on: July 03, 2022, 11:37:41 PM
The only solution to someone not winning real money, for example, is to create levels of growth in the hierarchy. For example, you can create ranks like in the military, then there is a chance that many users will want to donate money to grow in that rankings
Not that many will be happy to donate for that sake of rankings and for them to progress. That's the reality and those potential donators that are also gamblers.

They'll choose to gamble with that money instead of donating it to those players that are into lower rank that only gambles freely as they find it unfair to them that gambles with actual legitimate money.
2772  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Legal Tender in Central African Republic on: July 03, 2022, 10:46:01 PM
An official 2nd country to adopt bitcoin as a legal tender. Well done to Central African Republic.

Well this is just fresh news. There is no full story yet. But what do you guys think about this?

https://twitter.com/WatcherGuru/status/1543679296224608263

Is their goal slowly shifting away from Bitcoin as a legal tender to a government controlled coin?
Do you think the sango coin will receive mass adoption in the country?
And now where the fun is being cut. For now, I'd say that let's just wait for everything in application and let's see where is this heading but making bitcoin as a legal tender then that's pretty good news.
2773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: July 03, 2022, 09:39:55 PM
Gamblers also suffer on market crash, there are some crypto gambling platforms that accept crypto but doesn't convert its value to $ value.
They don't have to convert it because that will serve as their hot wallet for particular and specific cash outs that they need to comply for their users. I don't think on their part that it is considered as a loss. What if they've been doing that since the time they've established and that's before the last bull run?

While market price declines, we have to bet higher coin amounts for same payout. This is huge trouble especially when market goes down %60 and gamblers have to cover market losses before withdrawal on wining streak.
That's true, it certainly will cover a huge problem if you've been gambling with certain cryptos that you bought at high and then it's quick to lose it as you gamble.
2774  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: July 03, 2022, 08:42:04 PM
If you really want to invest I think this is a good time to buy it and if we waste this opportunity of course it is very unfortunate,
how long to keep waiting for it to drop and it's better to buy it gradually,
but after all we can't force it because everyone has their own decision
Yes, that's really point of this thread.

But the question is, what if the bottom that we're expecting right now isn't the actual bottom. And that's the worry of those that are uncomfortable with the current situation.

Well, let's say this that we're not yet on the actual bottom but the whole point of buying now is you take every buying opportunity when you see them low.

And if it goes down again, you just buy again and you need to prepare yourself and budget for it.
2775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mr Beast makes joke about Bitcoin in new video on: July 03, 2022, 07:50:14 PM
I watch his videos but not yet this one.

If it's a joke that's very light about the movement of bitcoin, he just said it out of his mouth and nothing serious about it. We're happy when bitcoin was mentioned in a series or movies.

And when a big YouTuber mentions it, somehow negatively and lightly, it's not a problem because of its current situation.
2776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: July 02, 2022, 11:55:23 PM
That game of Fnatic and SMG.

What a shame on Fnatic, it seems like a throw game for them and lookin' easy that they've beaten up by SMG.

Two games in a row, they've been completely dominated by them. I don't know if they're testing out and each game should be as important as it is because they're not yet secured for the Arlington major.
2777  Economy / Economics / Re: The BTC price must stabilize in the long run. on: July 02, 2022, 10:16:29 PM
Volatility will remain but I get the point that someday that it won't be as volatile as it is right now and also for the past years.

When the consolidation is done, there will be more people that shall run over bitcoin and will choose it rather than diversifying their assets for different altcoins.

They'll see more risk there than owning bitcoin so they're going to choose that someday. Yeah, it's going to take a long time before we see it stabilize somehow and I think this was discussed before.
2778  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How certain are you that cryptocurrency will experience more parabolic bull runs on: July 02, 2022, 09:33:14 PM
How do you see the risk of cryptocurrency right now?
It's ok and the same as before so there's nothing to worry about it. Its volatility has never changed and it's still there.

Are you confident that cryptocurrency will recover, and when do you think that will happen?
Yes, it will recover and that's why I'm not worried at all and I was happy when I saw that it has hit a new ATH. As for when it shall recover, just think of it that the recovery will happen eventually but not as soon as possible.
2779  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: July 01, 2022, 11:43:33 PM
NaVi did it again on Dota 2 as they cameback from 1-0 and win by 2-1 at the end.

With this win , they are qualified to the next major and I'm curious how they will perform as it's been a lot since NaVi been to a major with a good squad to go for at least semi-finals and try to get as much points they could for TI chances as they still have chances.
Currently, they've got the highest point and yeah, with 2 remaining matches. This already made them qualified and secured slot for the upcoming Arlington major.

With another secured slot is for Team Spirit.

But with one remaining slot, since 3 slots for their region. There's still too many things that can happen for all of those teams close to the 3rd rank for the remaining 2 weeks.
2780  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 01, 2022, 10:57:03 PM
- Would you blame an individual who becomes addicted to gambling because it is wired to his DNA?
No, if the reasoning will be about DNA.

Yes, if it's his own action and he never listens to one's advise on how to avoid or make it controlled by him.

-Can their gambling problem be put in check by regular methods?
Yes, it can be checked at all times to see if the person who inherited it really has that inheritance through his veins. But for me, whether you have an inherited DNA from a gambler, it's still you that will be taking action and your personal decision.

-Will the addiction be worse than someone who picked up the habit?
It depends to the individual and his gambling habit and level of addiction.
