I haven't seen a single person use their watch to pay for anything regardless of payment method. Seems gimmicky. Like who really is going to pull up a qr code on their watch rather than their phone. I do not either, but maybe one day not far away, you can leave home alone with your watch and pay or buy what you want, without a credit card, without money in your pocket, just your watch. Anyway I only publish the news that I see interesting, but it is good to see that they are constantly developing technology to apply Bitcoin in all areas, these small details are also part of the adoption. |

^ LOL, in 2019, I'm talking about the highest price of the year, so far and I hope to see it higher in December.  The 'yearly high'. I've seen others saying 'ATH' when they mean 'the yearly high'. But it's wrong/confusing. Yes let's keep on creeping up... Typical behavior for someone who probably bought at $20k sold at $12k and is now hoping BTC will stay at $3-4k for a longer period of time. His bags are probably empty or almost empty and he's been saving on food and clothes to buy some tiny fractions of BTC. In a desperate attempt to prevent BTC from rising he is beartrolling spreading fud here on BTCtalk trying to confuse noobs and persuade them not to buy immediately. Let go dude, BTC is heading north and it's a one way journey... BTC gave you a wonderful chance to buy it for cheap at $3k but not for long we have to move on now. You're late, you're too late... My first purchase at BTC was with a price of $ 3,100. I never sold a fraction of BTC and I'm Hodl forever, until FuckYourMoney arrives or everything goes to hell.  You're wrong. |

^ After an ATH (+/- $ 6,000), most of the time it goes down by 20 or 30%, to climb with more strength.  I’m ok with dropping to $4,000 again, whatever. It just helps us gobble up cheaper coins before this thing goes parabolic. I’m trying to get to a certain round number of bitcoin’s but I need another 6.9 BTC to make it. I’m not sure I’ll be able to before it becomes too expensive. Yes, it is better to buy at $ 4,000 than at $ 8,000, although if the price goes up, my strategy is to divide the total investment planned for the year and buy the same fixed amount monthly. |

Bitcoin network hash rate climbs to 6 month highThe Bitcoin hash rate climbed to its highest level since October 2018 as the BTC spot price looks to break $5,800. Data shows the Bitcoin hash rate – the computing power responsible for securing the network, at above 58 quintillion hashes per second (58 million tera hashes per second – TH/s). This is the 4th highest ever hash rate recorded on the Bitcoin network. The increase in hash rate points to more mining nodes being active on the network. With more mining nodes, comes greater security for the Bitcoin network making it more difficult for attack vectors to succeed in compromising the fidelity of the blockchain.
Thus, it is unsurprising to see more mining nodes coming online as BTC may be gearing up for another parabolic growth cycle.

@VB1001: por curiosidad, ¿por qué determinaste hacer este hilo un hilo auto-moderado?
En primer lugar por el spam si este hilo puede servir para recopilar de forma un poco seria las publicaciones de libros, vídeos, conferencias, merchandising, películas sobre Bitcoin pues me gustaría mantenerlo limpio y solo con este tipo de información relacionada con Bitcoin, si ponen un post con información de shitcoins, por poner un ejemplo, pues sintiéndolo mucho será eliminado. Referente a los enlaces en mi opinión no pondría ninguno, cada uno que visite las paginas que crea oportuno para adquirir, consultar o ver lo que necesite y esta también es una de las razones del porque el hilo es automoderado, cualquier post con un enlace a descargas..., vídeos o portales de compra con referidos o bonificaciones de cualquier tipo para el que publica el post, pues también sera eliminado. |

 He sacado cuatro números de archive.org y en comparación al año anterior es abismal, sigo sin entender el porque de esta diferencia tan enorme, esto por un lado y otra cosa que observo es que las cuentas nuevas ponen 1,2 o 5 o 10 mensajes y desaparecen, puede ser que entren a Bitcointalk pensando que es un foro al uso y cuando se dan cuenta de todas las normas, rangos, actividad, etc,etc,etc, deciden irse a otros foros, no creo que todos los que vengan su objetivo sean las campañas de firmas, seguro que hay varios que vienen con la intención de aprender y participar pero cuando ven lo que se les viene encima buscan algo mas sencillo sin tantas normas. Pienso que habría que cambiar explicitamente lo que se necesita para entrar en las campañas de firmas, no se, la actividad a mínimo x-número para filtrar exactamente a los que solo buscan esto y al resto que quiere estar en el foro y participar en los debates, pues, normas menos exigentes, a lo mejor así tendríamos mas audiencia y participación en todo el foro. |

Como siempre cuando empiezo a hacer algo para uso personal, en este caso una pequeña base de datos sobre libros, documentales y películas sobre Bitcoin, si veo que va tomando forma automáticamente lo replanteo para hacer un post, en Bitcointalk, con la intención que sea de utilidad y quede lo mejor posible o al menos eso intento. El hilo es automoderado para mantenerlo limpio de spam o posts que estén fuera de contexto (o enlaces de referidos o descargas ilegales), se puede comentar, opinar o hacer crítica a favor o en contra del contenido y por supuesto también son bienvenidos comentarios con novedades, anécdotas, consultas, dudas, todo lo que se os ocurra, pero relacionado con el titulo del hilo, "Bitcoin" y como no podía ser de otra forma la primera recomendación es el Libro Blanco de Bitcoin de Satoshi Nakamoto. Todos los títulos no están en español, pero algunos de ellos sí los encontrareis en el idioma de la sección local.
