2781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2021, 10:17:14 PM
Would you buy Tesla using your Bitcoin or you will wait to $100K?  Roll Eyes
I think in the future yes. For now, It's not possible for me to buy a tesla using bitcoin. I have a few reasons.

1. My bitcoins are not allocated for a tesla right now.
2. No tesla dealership available in my country, Import is also bad because of the tax  Lips sealed
3. My country has no infrastructure or support that can  accommodate an electric car today (Charging station, Maintenance support/parts, capable roads)
4. No legal way to drive a tesla on our road because our country doesn't have the framework yet to accept electric cars. It can't be registered yet Lips sealed So no legal documents.

But yeah, I wish I can purchase a tesla with my bitcoins in the future, I'm just waiting for the best opportunity to do it.
2782  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Online Education, the future of learning? on: March 25, 2021, 09:23:34 PM
It seems to me that nothing can replace live communication and socialization of children in collectives.  Learning the practical skills of students of different professions suffers with online learning.  It is impossible to study human anatomy online without visual material.  So even blockchain technologies won't help here Smiley
It's true but there are courses that can rely on online education such as Information Technology. I am an IT student and before the pandemic hits, We are conducting online learning for most of our subjects that don't need to be face to face. People today adopted online learning but we can't deny the fact that there are courses that need to have a face-to-face class. As far as I know, there is a blockchain project that focused on an online learning platform, I can't remember what project it is but I'm sure I stumbled on it before.

Pretty much expected from SEC from the beginning. Walang permit si Xian Gaza to do a crowdfunding sa pinas pero surely maraming kumagat na followers niya sa social media. I'm an old follower of Xian Gaza pero wala na akong balita sa CareFund niya and sa Xian coin niya. Marami na din nag wawarning sa comment section sa sarili niyang post about sa scheme niya pero IDK kung bakit marami padin nag risk sa taong may background na into scamming.
2784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fate or lack of control - Gambling on: March 25, 2021, 07:52:38 PM
Winning or losing on a casino for me doesn't really fall into the word fate, The suitable word for it is destiny. Casino owners built their casinos for them to make money and making us lose money by losing. This is a fate that most of the casinos made for us and winning or losing will all depend on us, on what kind of decisions we will make to see our destiny. Self-control, Proper knowledge, and Luck are just the factors that we have to get the results we want.

2785  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: most amazing picture I have ever seen on: March 24, 2021, 06:12:47 PM
Emotional trading is the hardest thing to learn among all. I have been trading for many years but still, in some cases, I cant not control my behavior which lead to a lot of troubles for my funds and capital. Guess that im just too young and stubborn to get rid of those stupid emotion. BUt I believe that one day, I will be able to manage everything. Being able to earn with trading is my most desire dream
We can say that trading emotionally is a very wrong move in trading but honestly we can't get rid of it easily without a good realization about the mistakes that we did if we use our emotions on trading. Learning trading physcology can improve our trading habits and our mental state when we are in front of troublesome charts. I myself experienced a bunch of losses on trading because I did the same mistake but over the time accumulating experience and having different hard trading situations, I can tell myself I am doing well today and can resist using my emotion to fuel up my next move on trading.
2786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading, is it worth? on: March 24, 2021, 05:11:03 PM
Hello guys, how are you?

It is nice to meet you!

Honestly...we're good as the market surging high making for another ATH.

Day trading is really good for people who wanted to learn and patiently wait to develop their knowledge and skills in trading. To tell you that many individuals had come and tried trading but not all of them wins. Why? it is because they don't like the results of what they are doing.

You can say that some traders can manage to have 10%-20% monthly profit, but try to ask them how long (years) they have been doing this. You will probably surprise by their answer and suggestions.
We do have different trading styles and finding the trading style that we are comfortable with is hard especially if you are only a newbie. One other factor you said is the right coin for you to trade.
Experience traders who have a lot of time commonly go for day trading because they know they have a certain knowledge of doing things such as reading charts, making patterns, and analyzing price movements of the Market.
2787  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla now accepts Bitcoin on: March 24, 2021, 04:14:02 PM
From when Lambo to when tesla  Grin Though it is pretty much expected that they will accept bitcoin as a payment to their tesla when they invested $1.5 billion in it, It is still nice to hear the announcement from Elon itself. Bitcoin could possibly rise because people won't need to sell it in order to buy a Tesla from Elon. Elon doesn't want people to cause dumping because of his product. What if Elon tells us they will accept bitcoin in The boring company? It would be nice to see an article with that news.
2788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling firms helping Government and people during quarantine, literally. on: March 24, 2021, 03:21:55 PM
The casinos have certain restrictions under which they need to donate towards charity programme of the Government. As mentioned above for obtaining license there are strict code of conduct and certain implications which casinos have to follow. Moreover they got tax rebates if they donate for the noble cause as it is tax deductible in most countries. They are just playing their duties and we also need to appreciate them for helping and providing funds in needy hours to help people in pandemic.

Guidelines for casino operators across UK
Quote
Must pay 15% tax on all profits from UK services.

Need to hold a license from the Gambling Commission and comply with various codes of practice.

Must comply with advertising standards and codes of practice including the CAP Code and the Gambling Industry Code for Socially Responsible Advertising (Industry Code) administered by the Advertising Standards Authority (the ASA). There is also the Licence conditions and codes of practice for all licensees (LCCP).

So it's just a part of organisations to donate towards charity driven programmes as law abides them do so of the country in which they are providing services.

This is quite interesting because they are actually doing what they have to do for the sake of the license and the various rules that have to be obeyed.  It is very different in countries that prohibit access to gambling, there are no rules that support or allow it so that often naughty people still gamble from overseas online gambling sites and gambling companies do not pay any taxes from their income.  The loss is two times, one community is disadvantaged because they cannot play gambling freely. The two countries do not get anything from gambling companies which have very much money.
That is how the gambling business works, But I'm pretty sure that there are some casinos that are tied to high-ranking authority in the government and bend the law in their favor so they can take advantage of their competitors in their country. Irregularities in the government are somehow common today, But at least they are giving it back to the people.

Those countries that prohibit gambling will just waste the opportunity of giving tax to casinos in their country that most commonly operates in the underground.  It could help their country to recover, especially the countries that are the most damaged by the pandemic to cope up with their casualties.
2789  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you loose your funds don't loose the fun on: March 24, 2021, 02:33:03 PM
I think we have a different perspective in terms of playing gambling. There are people who would like to seek just for fun only and there are people who would like to gamble because they want to double up their money. Those people who makes a lot of money in gambling just for fun I think they are the one who takes the gambling more responsively because few of them ignore how much they lose because again they have a lot of funds can gamble. This is the reason why if we want to play gambling we should take care if we can afford what we lose.

Yeah right its because we have different capabilities thats why not everyone can't afford to lose nor doesn't have enough bankroll for expiremental fun bets thats why many will always aim to win so that they can douvle or even triple their money.

But also I doubt those rich people will not mind their losses since I'm sure they are still counting on it but the different between rich and poor bettor is the rich can eas8ly move on since ge still have a money compare to poor guys whetr they alwats take those losses seriously and hard for them to moveon for their losses.
That's right. The poor value their money so much because it can make them struggle if they lose it and coping up with a loss will be a long process, I'm sure they can feel the pressure to avoid losses which ain't no fun. We define fun in gambling in different ways, The status of the gambler can greatly affect that fun because of the risks involved.
2790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam Coin On PANCAKESWAP on: March 24, 2021, 01:50:53 PM
This is a bit common nowadays, It's easy for a shit project to list their projects on a Decentralized exchange. There are many shitcoins that were introduced back in the day and most of them are listed on Decentralized exchange or to a loose centralized exchange that accepts every token regardless of the background. This is why Binance is the go-to of the investors on the IEO trend back then because Binance has some standard qualification that a scam project can't achieve.
2791  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bagong Crypto Trading Platform sa Pinas - BloomXapp on: March 24, 2021, 01:12:31 PM

I've never looked backed to coins.ph after experiencing the p2p trade ng binance eh.
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a GOOD or BAD time to invest? on: March 23, 2021, 11:52:11 PM
Just trust yourself on what you are seeing on the crypto of your choice, There are a lot of predictions on the internet and it's hard to tell who's prediction will happen. Analyze the chart, read patterns, and see the news with that you can somehow increase the chance of you gaining profit from your investments. A bear market is expected to arrive, Just always buy on the dip if you want to maximize the profits you want to get from your investments.

Also if you're really a newbie in crypto, You should always go to a top exchange such as Binance for you to experience reliable services.
2793  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Short term solid projects? on: March 23, 2021, 09:17:30 PM
Any coin will give you some result in the short term. But you must understand that you won't be able to get big money in two months.

BNB is growing very well now, and I advise you to pay attention to it. Analysts predict BNB will soon reach $ 400. Therefore, you should not exclude this coin from your list of preferences. But it would be better to determine your own preferences, analyze the rating and choose the most attractive coins.
Well it depends on the trader and on the coin he is trading. Remember we are in the crypto market, It is very possible to gain astounding profits within months especially if we are on a bull market. Earning fast is equal to losing fast so it is very important to manage your risk.

I can agree that BNB is viable in value growth in the future.
2794  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Php High Rates on Binance? on: March 23, 2021, 07:51:48 PM

For the sake of my peace of mind, nakikipag p2p trade ako sa 97% pataas na completion rate at maraming trades.
2795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meeting about Bitcoin and inviting people to it on: March 23, 2021, 06:37:34 PM
I have the almost same scenario with you but the only difference is they asked my guidance to introduce them on how to use bitcoin Wayback 2017 when bitcoin is reaching its all-time high. I know I did my part explaining to them about the things to learn and the risk they should face if they are after the profit. Sadly when the bitcoin correction happened I feel that they are blaming me because they are on the loss. This experience thought me not to teach things about bitcoin if they are just there for the profits. I don't know if the persons I taught hold their bitcoin until now but I have strong feelings that they sold it. I just wasted my talk back then  Undecided
2796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: March 23, 2021, 06:04:48 PM
<snip...>

This issue actually became huge especially in e-sports gambling where famous YouTubers are being sponsored by gambling websites to promote such.

To give an example, in CSGO, these gambling websites sponsored YouTubers with funds provided by the owners. Unfortunately, it was alleged that these gambling websites faked and structured the video in a way that those YouTubers will experience winnings on their bets, but in fact, it was staged from the very beginning.

With your concern OP, I personally think this could mislead people and give them false information. Even with the disclaimers posted, this is very misleading from the very beginning. I do hope that they do something about this as it may affect their image in the future.
I've seen a few YouTubers that are being sponsored by certain betting sites and it's disturbing because I've noticed that most of the YouTubers are saying that the betting site they are promoting has the best odds on all betting sites which is false. The betting site I've seen most is 1xbet, unfortunately, they have a very bad reputation in this forum and all over the internet and this makes me think that those YouTubers who promoted it just want the sponsor money over their reputation. If ever their viewers got scammed by 1xbet, Their reputation could be tainted.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Teams on your personal blacklist on: March 22, 2021, 11:50:46 PM
I hate it when a certain team throwing up a game. Have you ever heard of Dota Mineski 322 scandal Wayback 2014? That is the only team I have on my blacklist. I lose a bunch of money from that match-fixing. I've lost my trust in that team, branding especially on the players of that team because of that. Besides Mineski I don't have any teams on my blacklist, It's just they tainted my very good expectation for them on that series as they climb up.
2798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's with the NFT hype? on: March 22, 2021, 10:12:36 PM
Still don't get why some people place so much importance on nft, I saw a tweet from cz about a guy who claim he don't own a house nor a car yet throw around $69 million to buy an NFT art,   still trying to figure out point behind such inappropriate spending,  just sounds plain stupid to me.
I'm sure the buyer has plans on it, But I'm pretty sure that the buyer started a fire on NFT and gave it more hype in the market. It also boosted Beeple (the artist of $69 million digital art) popularity on crypto. One of the motives I'm thinking is that the buyer wants to write his own history in cryptocurrency space by buying NFT with a ridiculous amount of money, Like the infamous laszlo who bought pizza with his 10,000 bitcoins.

It's never too late.
