281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [Cryptostocks] Scrypts Mining - legit or just a SCAMM? on: March 18, 2014, 10:45:53 AM
There is a number of red flags for this listing, no photos of the miningfarm in action or it's hashrates and no miningadresses published that they generate there mining incomes on either. There's no huge discounts for ordering such small amount of 1 600 miners from gridseed like they claim.
Even if they actually had the Miners and would not run away with peoples bitcoins it would be a bad deal to invest in them as they charge an overprice of around 80% for the miners hashrates so theres no reason for anyone to invest in them as the price they charge is practically a scam anyway.
282  Economy / Securities / Re: Let's list all the scams that have been listed on cryptostocks.com on: March 18, 2014, 10:09:35 AM
CPTM (CryptoMine) looks like an other one. I guess they are still struggling with their utility provider. Must be some epic fight Smiley.
Yes CPTM looks like they run away with part of peoples money and or the miners if they ever had any.

To just mention a few scams,
an old one was PPT witch was/became a scam by proxy by investments in pirated40.
LTCFPGA, BGTRUST, DTALE, CMUC and the whole Firemine/Digimine/Mineco/Altswap mess is scams to mention some more recent ones.

legit or not?
to invest or not to invest?
There seems to be real companys behind unity/nitepass/axis blind, but if you think btcprice will rise a fair amount in the next 3-5 years it's probably not such a good ide to invest in axis blind now as it seems to be first then they expect to get decent returns, unless you absolutely believe they will be a huge success and it will compensate for possible increases in btcprice to. But for all sake go throu all there information and make your own prediction of how things can develope in the future so you can make a more educated based decition on whether or not to invest in them.

I invested some myself, though Im unsure now if this IPO will succeed.

I doubt they will sell all shares in the stipulated timeframe, but they will probably have sold a consitherable amount by then.
is it a legit stock? im not sure how to investigate
If i remember correctly from when i checked them before, there seems to be a real person behind this stock at least, not some annonomuse one like most other stocks on cryptostocks, some of the ideas they have seems to be way out there, but if one or a few of them will make it, it could go well for them.

By the way this thread should be renamed to [Bitfunder] Moving Backwards/Non-Resolution Process .
Plus it seems like the thread OP has been absent and silent for months now.
May be its time for interested solicitors to open a new thread.
OP last logged in was today, last post he made was 9 March...
287  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Ukyo.Loan - Paying 0.05% daily. on: March 13, 2014, 11:52:57 PM
Whats the amount of bitcoins owed for ukyo loan? Did the loan run under ukyo personally alone or was a company involved? And do you think that the stock-like thing of selling shares will have an impact legally?

I believe it's 2000btc.

Ah... not bad... together with the 6k from weexchange its a big amount.
200 000 shares at 0.01 btc each so yea 2000 btc is the correct amount (plus 1.5% monthly interest so about 90 btc more from around dec 1 upp till now). Ukyo and Graet probably have some crossinvestments in each others loan thou and ukyo have some of his own stocks bought back so it's not the full 2000 btc outstanding.
288  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: March 13, 2014, 09:21:02 PM
Now that Deprived is back, I propose that we vote to shut this operation down, somehow. This security is not viable without an exchange, and everyone would gain.

DMS.MINING shareholders would benefit greatly. According to the terms for a shutdown, DMS.MINING shares would get 365 times the daily dividend, which is currently about 0.00000066 BTC -- for a total of 0.0002 BTC. Thats is much more than they could get by continuing to receive daily dividends.

The DMS.MINING payout plus the unpaid dividends are certainly much less than the last price of a DMS.MINING share, so DMS.SELLING shareholders would get a decent return.

It's good outcome for everyone.

He'd need to render all missing dividends before doing such, which would likely wipe out most reserves, no? I haven't bothered backtracking it all.

There's an estimate of outstanding dividends on page 87 of this thread. I don't know if it's accurate, but it adds up to ~380 BTC worth of dividends, where the NAV after the last dividend payment was ~414 BTC. So almost all funds are due to be distributed as dividends. Obviously, with two thirds of the BTC locked up in Ciphermine bonds, these payments can't be done fully. Not entirely sure what the process here is, but I assume that MINING holders can get paid, while SELLING holders have to wait for the Ciphermine bonds to be liquidated.

After the current outstanding dividends are paid, shutting down the operation is an option, but not one that is in the best interest of SELLING holders (unless they assume that MINING will earn more than 365 times the current daily dividend), so I doubt they'd vote in favour.
I don't see that there's any differemce between MINING or SELLING holders, either they both gets preliminary payed based only on the amount thats in deprived's possetion if you gonna see the CIPHERMIN.B1 as an uncertain holding and the rest is settled when/if it becomes avaliable or both MINING and SELLING gets payed based on the whole sum including whats invested in the bond up to the point it's not possible as it would dig into the part thats still in the bond.
289  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: Gridseed 5 chip dual miner (300 KHash/s) i Danmark? on: March 13, 2014, 07:10:45 PM
Jeg synes også at de koster for meget. Jeg tror ikke de kan lave profit, hvis de koster $230-260.

Men jeg synes det er spænende med ny technology og ville gerne have prøvet at have en.

Happy mining Smiley

http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/?sha256HashRate=1000.00&sha256Power=500.00&sha256PowerCost=0.1000&scryptHashRate=350.00&scryptPower=7.00&scryptPowerCost=0.2000&sha256Check=false&scryptCheck=true&e=Coinbase

290  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTC-TC] Deprived Mining Speculation (DMS) on: March 13, 2014, 06:41:46 PM
However, given DMS's large stake in CIPHERMINE.B1 and given that you've now reappeared, Deprived, I am willing to process those dividends manually. This offer is not extended to any other bondholders, sorry (there are too many). Also, if you'd actually been around and answering emails sooner D I'd have offered this to you directly sooner as well, but your email account appeared to be a black hole so I didn't bother.

Deprived, it is good to have you back, but frankly I'm astonished that someone of your caliber would cast such aspersions without checking the facts!

Further, CIPHERMINE.B1 and CIPHERMINE dividends are quite separate. We are making a profit under CIPHERMINE since that is based on what we mine, not what our outstanding liabilities are on our balance sheet! The only P&L cost associated with the bonds are the interest payments, which have been deducted from mining profits and, as mentioned above, have been safely sequestered away until such a time as we can pay them out.

Kate.

PS. For your convenience I've uploaded a PDF of the BTC-TC "contract" page for CIPHERMINE.B1, here. Unfortunately I did not forsee the possibility of the exchange failing/closing combined with this bloody minimum transaction limit getting in the way. In the circumstances we're doing the best we can (ie. building a new exchange so that your securities will be liquid again!). The entirety of the funds were spent on mining hardware, as planned.
Kate what is the base price EUR/BTC(at the time of the issue of CIPHERMINE.B1) that is used for calculating the dividend,.

If i understand things correctly the dividend per share should have been 3800 satoushi per share each week if the price at the time of the dividend would be exactly the same as at the time of the bond was issued. If for example the EUR/BTC price is at 5 times higher at a time to issue dividend it would then be 760 satouchi per share instead, still the only share holders that would not be able to get there dividend every week would be those having less than 8 shares or something, everyone else should be able to get there dividend every week without any problems, isen't that the case ?

Where is the list of dividend that should have been payed per share for the weekly dividends that haven't been payed out after the last payment that was on 24/11/2013(the date that you mentioned in your other post), it should be 15 weekly dividend if i got it right so unless the avg btcprice has been over 10-11 times what it was when the bond issued, everyone even those with only 1 bond should have got dividend during this period at least once, minimum transaction limit shouldn't effect that and everyone with more than 1 share should have got dividends more often.
291  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Where invest my budget to get some profit? on: March 12, 2014, 11:57:23 PM
Hai all, i've a question, with 12000 usd budget where is netterà to invest? In bitcoin hardware or in scryp coin, can you suggest me a configuration that can giv me a rio and a godo profit?
And suggestion Will be apreciated.
:-)
If you think Bitcoin will rise in price in the future it may be a good ide to just buy bitcoins and hold for a year or more.

Whether bitcoin mining hardware will be profitable compared to just hold the investment in bitcoins is very dependent on when you will have the hardware in hand and how the increase in difficulty will be over time but most importantly the nearest future, the price per GH you pay and what electricity cost usd/kwh you have and the miners efficiency W/GH is also important, check with a decent calculator like this one for example http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator for the hardware's you had in mine.

Investing in scryptcoins is probably hard to say anything about in general, some will probably do well and rise in price and some will go down in price.

The first thing you should do is to post under your real bitcointalk account if your legit so people know who there dealing with, not use an altaccount created only for promoting a stock on cryptostocks.

There IPO (interested in) : https://cryptostocks.com/securities/108
If there claim where true they would blow every competitior off the map, 125TH for 9999 usd, it just can't be true 0,08 usd/GH(2,4% of the copetitors price) and 0,0148w/GH compared to cointerra/Knc or that chineese company with there 2/3/1 TH respective machines thats all around 3-4 usd/GH and around 0,7-1w/GH.

294  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] Moving Forward/Resolution Process on: March 11, 2014, 09:56:10 PM
The time frame for the possibility of that information to be made public is beyond my control. If it was down to me it would have been made public a long time before I got involved.

what could that mean?
I think that only cryptocyprus, Ukyo & Graet can answer that, as there probably the only ones with knowledge about whats going on.

But possible reason for such statement could be that cryptocyprus signed some confidentiallity agreement with Ukyo before getting involved.
Another possibillity would be if bitfunder/weexchange was a victim for some sort of criminal fraud that resulted in them loosing control of some funds and that some government agencys is involved in the matter to get the funds back and that anyone involed is under gag order until things is cleared up.

As far as I know, (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong anyone), gag orders don't work like that.

Unless you are talking about the NSA / CIA or something. You don't get 'gag orders' from the FBI or FINCEN or a private company or whomever that don't allow you to even mention that they are involved and would involve seizing deposits, that is illegal. For the most part, gag orders mean you can talk about any details about a situation that has legal ramifications.  They do not mean, or extend, to not even being able to mention that a law enforcement agency involved.  And a gag order would certainly not be imposed that would allow you to stay in business and collect users deposits without being able to talk about a legal situation that means you can not return those deposits. That's really far-fetched.
Your probably right, i'm not familiar with exactly how they work in the USA or what agency it is that issues them, i'm just aware of there excistance and that there is similar things with some patents/inventions in the USA where inventors is not allowed to talk/write about there inventions/patents or even the restriction in there freedom of speak itself.

Assuming difficulty raises 10% every time retarget occurs, it seems like it, is B. MINE worth it? It does seem like PETA is the way  to go, ill look into ASIC miner
Look at the bottom of the page http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/difficulty for passed difficulty increases. 10% is not likely to happen very ofthen the next couple of months if cointerra, KnCminer, and that Chinese new asicmaker will spit out miners in the 1000GH-2000GH-3000GH range.
296  Local / Skandinavisk / Re: Scryptmaskin on: March 11, 2014, 05:54:53 PM

297  Economy / Securities / Re: Best securities with daily to weekly dividends? on: March 11, 2014, 04:56:20 PM
ASIC miner is a high price, but they are pretty low dividends wise. I'm thinking of PETA, they seem to be the most promising. Well since difficulty basically is guaranteed to go up, is there even a point or should I just buy B. SELL?
Bitcoin mining stocks can be tricky and you have to read up on what hardware they have and whats coming and when, for virtual mining like BDD it's slightly easier to calculate.

I haven't counted on BDD's different options on whether mining or sell looks best but generally people take some difficultyincrease in consitheration when they calculate what a resonable price for mining or sell should be so you can't just buy sell at any price and be guaranteed profit, if it would be that easy everyone would do it...

If you try the calculater i mentioned and try with what you think the "Difficulty Increment" will be 15 20 25 30 or whatever % you think may be resonable and 5 GH as "Hash Rate" and the rest at 0 you can see what the total predicted income for B.mine would be 20% for example gives 0.04303, thats pretty much what B.MINE trades for bids 0.04010000, asks 0.04100000.

If difficulty were to increase with close to 20% B sell should cost BSELL=BDD-BMINE  0.13311598-0.04303= 0.09008598
bids currently at 0.08426020 asks at 0.09299789 so if you managed to buy at 0.0843 or something you may do a slight profit and if you bought at higher price 0.0929 you may do a slight loss.

But it all depends on the future difficultyincrease so basically if difficulty were to increase by other % the value of B.MINE would be different. If difficulty will be lower then B.MINEs value be more and if difficulty will be higher B.SELLs value will be more.
B. Mine expected price at
10%  0.08712
30%  0.02763

But the online calculators only give you an estimate as there not enouth adjustments you can make on them.

B. Mine is under BDD, the Bitcoin Difficulty Derivative and acts as a 5 gh/s bond per share. They can be found at havelockinvestments.com
Oh ok, well if B.Mine is a good buy or not will depend on the future difficulty increase then, OP needs to do estimates of what will happen with difficulty to see if MINE or SELL will be better of as an investment here's one of the better calculators that you can try http://bitcoinwisdom.com/bitcoin/calculator .
Buying BDD and just hold both MINE and SELL should be a slight loss unless premiums from future buyers after you weighs up that so a slight pyramide effect is built into such scheme but i think the effect was smaller on BDD than it was on Deprived's DMS that was the model for it. Think i read that funds for BDD was held in escrow at Havelock so as long as you trust havelock then that stock should face less risk that someone runs away with the funds than on the avg stock in the btcworld.

Seen over the last years one of the best/safest investments has probably been the forum initiative ASICMINER's direct shares bought at launch price back then. Wheter or not it's traded price over time has been a good buy or not will of course matter depending on what your investment strategy and timeframe looks like and what the future will have in place on the ASICmarket.
