281  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terms and condition a must read before signing up any online gambling site on: June 29, 2021, 03:30:38 PM
Who's gonna read pages and pages of T&Cs? Nobody.
Then what happens is that companies put some guardrails in place to defend themselves and the players that don't read them, when they get scammed start to blame the platforms.
But players should blame themselves first.
I also don't read everything but at least, using the search function, I make sure that I can do (or can't do) certain things.
The rest is pretty much the same on every platform.
Be smart people.

Germany - England - what a classic. Like Gary Lineker said ''Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.'' Though, I see that England a bit favoured by bookmakers, but I don't know why. In group stage England haven't showed anything special and I don't see reasons to hype them. Yes, Germany were unstable, but game with Portugal showed wha they can.
Sweden - Ukraine. It something incredible that Ukraine who qualified from 3rd place got their own level opponents, while Austria from 2nd place had to play against Italy. I'm backing Ukraine in this game.
Whoever comes out of this super-fight will probably find it hard to live with it. Because at stake, in England-Germany there is much more than a simple Euro2020 game. After the exit of Holland, in fact, their side of the scoreboard could open up a highway towards the final, to be played in the fascinating setting of Wembley. Denmark, Czech Republic and one of Sweden or Ukraine are opponents definitely within reach, both for the English and for the Germans.
From what we witnessed with France, this too sounds like an unpredictable game that is simply a must watch!

Being one who like women's tennis too I'd like to write about Serena Williams who's now almost forty years old, but she's always fearsome and boasts a formidable tradition in the London Slam, where she has triumphed seven times in singles. She'll try to reach twenty-four majors with another tennis legend, Margaret Smith Court, record holder in this special ranking. Serena's path will start with a potentially not too complicated match against Aliaksandra Sasnovich that she might win in two sets.

Brazil failed to win, they played really bad in the second half, they had only one chance from vinicius jr but he missed a quite easy goal, he couldn't reach the ball well to control the shot, but besides that, they did nothing, Neymar showed again how important he is for brazil without even playing, the efficacy to score was missing.
Goodbye to the record of consecutive victories for Brazil, but Tite's replacements didn't look bad against a fierce Ecuador that, in the end, obtained the point needed to get the pass for the quarterfinals. In Goiania, the match ends 1-1, with the Seleçao keeping its unbeaten streak for the 17th consecutive year, but Mena's strike (besides the qualification) also allows Alfaro's eleven to break a ten-year goal drought against the Brazilians. Peru also smiles, earning its passage to the quarter finals by defeating Venezuela thanks to a flash by Carrillo.
I'm glad my bet was 1-1 on Brazil, nice profit Cheesy

285  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 28, 2021, 08:49:56 AM
And Wimbledon is!!!
I'll try to watch and bet the game between Fognini-Ramos Vinolas
Fognini has always shown a greater adaptability on this surface than the Spaniard. Moreover, the nine victories in his career against Ramos-Vinolas represent a guarantee: Fognini is favored to pass the round in a match of at least four sets.
IMO, dhe draw fro the Italian was very lucky. The Spaniard hasn't won a match since Madrid and is player who's prefers to play on clay.

Here we go!! Messi is likely gonna sign contract extension with Barcelona until 2023. Guess all that drama we had about Messi leaving was all due to him being unhappy with the management back then. Sorry for those who wanted to see him in different league for a change. I also deep down wanted him to switch for a change.

(Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1409174172023066629)

So Lionel Messi wants to stay with Barcelona and extend his contract until 2023, maybe Lionel Messi doesn't want any changes in other leagues means they want to stay in barcelona with the current situation, I just think Lionel Messi won't dare to go to another league because what he is afraid of is the dimming of his career.

From what I have observed before about the speculation about Messi's departure because it doesn't fit with the management, it's just an emotion but in fact he still wants to be with Barcelona
I completely agree too much drama fro basically nothing! I remember I've defended Lionel Messi so hard after what happened last year to him but I guess, as usual, money's the best thing to use to allow the temperature to cool down and relax the relationship. Good for him, but I expected some guts form him in this situation.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China might really be out of Bitcoin and the cryptospace on: June 28, 2021, 08:16:12 AM
And as a result, very much expected, the bitcoin block count went below 100.0 with current value around 58.0
Mempool's filling up pretty quickly again and fee rates are going up. This was all but unexpected and bitcoiners know what to do. Either contribute a bit to the network or DO NOTHING.
The tide will pass.

Meanwhile, as expected, the new ban in China has hit Bitcoin like a fury, causing a sharp drop in price.
BTC's not doing great, price wise, but it's worse for Ethereum.
It was a drop however expected since the whole sector is back from a rally that led many cryptocurrencies to multiply their value and see new historical records. Now all that remains is to understand if this drop is an "afterthought" or if it is the signal that the bull run is definitely over and we need to prepare for a long winter.

Spinazzola looks like Mancini's real. He attacks with continuity, always creating numerical superiority. He goes to the cross and often to the goal, without forgetting the defensive phase, always done in a careful manner and with the right timing. Spinazzola is a great regret of Juve that two years ago sacrificed him for budgetary reasons, selling him to Roma for the card of Luca Pellegrini (valued at 22 million).
Spinazzola has grown a lot in Rome, he solved many physical problems and became an indispensable player, also for the National team. Real Madrid has tried with a direct contact with the agents but the Giallorossi club, at the moment, does not want to open a sale. Some say that his price tag could go as high as 45 million euros.
291  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [CONMEBOL] Copa America 2021 Discussion Thread on: June 27, 2021, 12:33:36 PM
Even against the reserves of Brazil, already qualified as first, Ecuador will find it difficult to get a positive result. The total goals could be at least three because I thinkg Ecuador will most likely adopt an ultra-defensive attitude to try to stop the Brazilian maneuver. Alfaro will insert five defenders, one of which will be Arreaga, positioned in the center between Hincapie and Arboleda. In attack, Ayrton Preciado, in goal in the Tricolor's last two games, will again play as a pair with Campana.
If Brazil plays second tier players then it is a good chance for Ecuador to target a draw, because if Venezuela loses by Peru then it will be enough for Ecuador to advance to the next phase. But I'm not sure Brazil will play second-tier players in total, because at least Neymar will certainly remain in the starting XI to keep his position on the top scorer list. So yes, Brazil will still win I'm sure.
I doubt Brazil will lose points against Ecuador although this game means nothing for them. They will try to rotate the squad and give opportunity to players that played less time, yet this is enough for them to to win comfortably even if Ecuador plays 100% defensively.
Ecuador has to wait for Venezuela result, a draw against Peru is possible and beneficial for both of them since Venezuela will survive and Peru will hold the second spot.
There's no way this Ecuador can even have a chance against Brazil, they're going to lose for sure.
Peru should be able to avoid defeat in a match with at least one goal on each side. A draw, that would benefit both sides, seems like the possible game outcome.
Venezuela will lack the absent Martinez, Villanueva and Rosales, stopped by coronavirus. Aristeguieta will again lead the attack, while the five-man defense, led by Velazquez, will almost certainly be confirmed.
Substantially unchanged also the eleven of Peru, with Lapadula confirmed at the center of the attack. Behind him, a trio of offensive players made up of Cueva, Pena and Carrillo. The four-man defensive line, on the other hand, will feature Corzo, Ramos, Callens and Trauco.

Wales-Denmark is a match valid for the round of 16 of Euro 2020 and, like everyone knows, it'll be hosted today at 18:00 CET.
After the group phase, we can finally start with the more exciting knockout phase. Wales and Denmark are two teams that are certainly not among the favorites for the final victory, but that, at the same time, aren't new to surprising exploits in this competition.
Denmark has more quality but also more physicality than Wales, which can only count on a few good individuals and a good tactical organization. Kjaer and his teammates seem to be favored in a match with a total of less than three goals.
Awesome game that of Denmark, from an underdog stage to first 8! My bet was not successful but I witnessed a great match.
Today I'll watch France-Switzerland for the round of 16 of Euro 2020 which will be played tonight at the National Arena in Bucharest, Romania.
France, the number one favorite to win this European Championship, is now called to show its muscles. The knockout phase begins and the Blues of Didier Deschamps, reigning world champions, will have to get serious.  And another false step like the one against Hungary in the group stage could make a lot of noise. After all, with a squad overflowing with quality and talent, one cannot go unnoticed.
France's victory does not seem to be in question. Too wide a gap with the Swiss, who could close the match without scoring goals. Overall, however, the Blues will score at least two.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Amateur Traders Cause Bubbles on: June 26, 2021, 03:19:38 PM
Surely a market made of people completely unaware of the instruments in which they invest, especially in the altcoin sector, doesn't help. Much of the market manipulation however is done at higher levels and the stupid who buys high and sell low always get screwed. But this is it, every market works in the same way so if people don't understand the real value of bitcoin, that's their problem.

The final of the Atp 250 tournament in Eastbourne between Lorenzo Sonego and Alex De Minaur is being played right now. It'ss shaping up to be a long final, which will be decided in three sets and in which the total number of games will be at least 25. Sonego and De Minaur at this moment are equivalent and will give life to a balanced match, but at the end of the battle I think Sonego could win.

Inter's looking at another advanced midfielder, according to the Catalan newspaper Sport: the Italians have no intention of stopping at Calhanoglu. The other name in the plans of the Nerazzurri club is rather fancy even if circulated in the days if not hours before the arrival of the Turkish, gone away from Milan at no cost. The name of Philippe Coutinho, moreover a former Inter player, that Barcelona wants to sell in this summer market.
I don't see why doing that, but if they're okay with that, good for them. There are better players than Coutinho available.

Loyce, if you are telling me that you are NOT currently buying bitcoin (by using DCA and other methods) because your investment timeline is less than 4 years, then that would be way more understandable than to imply that you are staying in cash because you are waiting for a lump sum investing opportunity… NOT that you are saying that, exactly.
In retrospect, I should have bought more Bitcoin a year ago. But I don't feel like doing it now, especially since Bitcoin is still more expensive than at my biggest sale ever in December last year (to pay taxes).

I think that, retrospectively speaking, we'd be all filthy rich!

We have so many examples of establish reputations in every field which were established with a precise aim to make an exit scam.
In the crypto space I could cite the Mintpal and Cryptsy fiascos: with Cryptsy I was personally able to take my bitcoin out just a few weeks before the scam.
One can't never tell how things will play out.

One day El Salvador is gonna be remembered on History books. Call me crazy, call me nuts but I never thought something like that could have ever happened. I'm only afraid that democratic nations might get to worried at some point and become tempted to re-establish some democracy and order on the money side.
But if that's gonna happen, the world will suddenly embrace bitcoin.

Mundo Deportivo talks about Jordi Alba's future at Inter and according to the newspaper there are three names in particular that can be part of the deal. The names are Lautaro Martinez always liked by Barcelona, Skriniar, a defender who could be useful to the blaugrana and Brozovic. A strategy that, the Iberian newspaper points out, was strategically planned by Marotta: all these players are under their respective contracts' renegotiation.
