283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Old good airdrops on: October 18, 2019, 01:17:34 PM
I don't think that good airdrop days are over. They became rare but they do happen from time to time.
I'm not talking about bounty out of new altcoins but those well established coins, that we all like and trust.
Forum is still filed with generous people, who like to have some fun sometimes, members can also make airdrops of their own and this is where we, as a community, lacking a little. Some more contest, funny competitions games and drawings could take place. Pressure on this matter is of course unacceptable, it has to be voluntary. I'm planing to relaunch my old giveaway thread pretty soon btw.

285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever been stolen or lost your BTC? on: October 17, 2019, 04:25:54 PM
I'm not sure I can call this stealing but I have lost some small amount due to unfair KYC implementation on one of the exchanges.
I have forgotten what was the exact name of this exchange, if I recall correctly it was bitgrail or something along those lines.
They have had hid the fact of kyc introduction, there was no informations other than e-mails and one, obfuscated page visible during withdraw process. Small lesson for me, always check all available statuses, updates and news about services you use.
Obviously I was faced with a choice, give my personal data to this exchange and withdraw or give up some btc.
Have chosen the former, because they have already lost my trust.

In May 2015 I staked this address for future verification of my identity. As I have returned (actually I've 'returned' a good few times in the last 2-3 years) from a fairly long hiatus, here is a verification that this account hasn't simply been hijacked:

287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Legality effect on: October 16, 2019, 07:17:29 AM
my mind always asks, if one day bitcoin gets legal regulation, and is recognized all over the world. ...
But why would you rely on regulations so much? Why it's so important for you, that some political body will give you special permission to use bitcoin? You and everybody else, can use it, even when stupid politician says otherwise.
Adoption should be voluntary, intentional and performed knowingly. We already have some nonsense accusations against bitcoin being a psy-op of the new world order, government "help" will only discourage suspicious people from trusting it.
I'm a proponent of natural, long lasting processes, evolution of our legal tenders seems like a lot better approach than revolution to me. Besides slow and gradual adoption will neither save nor doom nobody, it will only change and move the positions of financial independence in general direction of ordinary folks, they just have to see this for their own first, special permissions can only corrupt the entire idea. Don't be a supporter of the subversion of bitcoins.

What do you mean "had couple issues with graphics for the slots being missing"? Could you provide screenshot with this issue?
Thank you in advance.

I was able to replicate the issue but it took more than 10 attempts and cache clean.
Page is loading pretty quickly but as you can see it hasn't loaded fully, another refresh fixes the issue.
I'm using firefox 69.01 under win7. https://imgur.com/TnEatsI

15 Free Spins was added to Narcos Slot.
Also thanks, received those free spins, had some fun with them. I have even won few sats, obviously lost them all but the experience of your platform was definitely a positive one. I have had couple issues with graphics for the slots being missing, not sure about the nature of this bug but it's a minor anyway, nothing that page refresh can't fix. Stay fair and prosper ✋

291  Local / Alternatywne kryptowaluty / Re: Najciekawsze scamy ICO on: October 15, 2019, 07:50:05 AM

          Pincoin był szczególnie wyjątkowy, ponieważ oferował aż dwa rodzaje bonusów za włączenie innych osób do programu, taktyka, która bez wątpienia może brzmieć kusząco. Oszuści opłacali swój podwójny-szwindel gotówką do stycznia 2018r, kiedy to zaczęli wysyłać tokeny iFan. Zaledwie dwa miesiące póżniej, zespół opuścił swoje fantazyjne biura, pozostawiając po sobie tylko nadzwyczaj dobrze przygotowaną - choć już nieaktywną - stronę internetową. Przyglądając się bliżej tej stronie, można było z łatwością doszukać się modelu ściemy, jaką posłużyli się twórcy. „Projekt PIN polega na budowie internetowej platformy konsumpcji współdzielonej dla globalnej społeczności, opartej na zasadach gospodarki dzielenia się, technologii Blockchain oraz krypto-walucie” - korporacyjna papka niewiele znaczących gruszek na wierzbie. Oczywiście wzmianki o żadnym założycielu lub doradcy, na stronie nie odnajdziemy. Nawet ich wymyślna i skądinąd dobra, wielojęzyczna biała księga, nie ma wyraźnych informacji o założycielu. Krótko mówiąc, zespół zapłacił bardzo dużo za ładną stronę internetową i poważnie wyglądający dokument założycielski by przekonać i okraść tysiące ludzi. Cytując za Viet Bao;
Quote
Zespół składający się z Bui Thi My Ngoc, Ho Phu Ty, Ho Xuan Van, Luong Huynh Quoc Huy, Luu Trong Tuan, Nguyen Duc Trong, Nguyen Trung Hieu i Vu Huu Loi wyprowadził poprzez Pincoin i iFan 15 trylionów wietnamskich Dongów wciągu kilku miesięcy, twierdząc, że reprezentują produkty z Singapuru i Indii.

292  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does trading fees really matter ? on: October 15, 2019, 06:49:24 AM
Exchanges continue to operate because of the service fees in which this is the reason of why they exist. Good thing is that there are many exchanges that existed in the crypto market in which we could enjoy their competition of which of them has the cheaper fees with quality services.
Answer appears to be that those fees do matter but only for exchanges or rather their owners.
For me it was never all that important. Usually it's a tiny amount, insignificant for one person. Scale of trades are where exchanges make their buck. As long as they are not greedy, I'm perfectly fine paying some operation costs.
I'm more often worried about payout fees, this is where things can easily go fraudulent or in a way, dupery.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Implementing blockchain technology for vegetable traceability on: October 14, 2019, 11:31:05 AM
"Our veggies are grown on blockchain!"
...
Above exaggerated example of a slogan, may be a good example on how not to incorporate the technology.
When a company goes crypto without having a good reason for it, without understanding but only cuz it became trendy then some sort of image loss is highly possible.
...
I allowed to quote myself here as a funny token of my "prediction" of sorts.
We already have the "chain" of supply that proves the quality of our vegetables, it is called a central square, greengrocery market where actual, small farmers can sell their produce. Please stop inventing wheel all over again, it will only make you look ridiculous.
When I ask you "why o why you doing this" you will give me the usual "because I can" then -> The fact that you are able to eat your own faeces, doesn't make it is a good idea.
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 14, 2019, 11:13:04 AM
It is a misconception formed in the market, people are investing in bitcoin because they though that bitcoin is a quick rich scheme where they can become a millionaire after they make investments. It is a perception that we should change in order to not lose anymore money.
But what can you propose instead of "get rich quickly" slogans?
People don't seem to care about freedom and financial independence, all that most are chasing is the easy money schematics.
No sensible reasons can speak to masses, only some populistic BS. I guess we have no other choice but to accept this "propaganda of instant success" as mainstream view. People care about their fiats, bitcoin is just a mean to get more colourful pieces of paper, sad but true. There is just t to much stuff to learn about the world, for folks to wake up and see the bars of their mental prison.
Tell them about the possibility of becoming your own bank and all they will ask will be -so how many banknotes can I print?
Maybe I'm being overly pessimistic but seriously, I can't see any other way.
295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: October 14, 2019, 09:39:42 AM
In my opinion technical analysis is just a fancy name for good-old guessing.
At the end of the day it all ends up with ordinary guess of the direction the trend is moving, nothing more.
Colourful graphs, slick charts and elaborated lines are exactly what their name suggests they are.
The king is naked, you can't predict the future accurately regardless of how much mathematical science you use, mostly because the future is not predetermined and stuff can go in unexpected direction any moment. There are to damn many factors.
Well-educated-guess but still a guess, nothing more.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: The Decline and Fall of the European Union on: October 13, 2019, 11:15:21 AM
European Union is a communistic super-state and it must be destroyed!

To first see the true initiative that shaped the idea of a United Europe, we have to look at the man behind it all, Altiero Spinelli.
Spinelli, a communist even during Mussolini’s government, was one of the most influential people who formed the EU. He was a member of the European Commission for 6 years, from 1970-1976 (he left voluntarily), as well as a member of the European Parliament for seven years after. A strong supporter of Trotsky, his views were so radical that the Italian Communist Party threw him out.
Trotskyism is a subset-ideology of Marxism-Leninism that proposes a permanent communist revolution in all countries, not only ones that the Trotskyists take control of. This shows how dangerous Spinelli’s ideas were, even towards non-Europeans.
One may ask about his views for European unity, but he simply goes much too far with it. Spinelli called for European federalism, which would make all European countries into one and diminish the importance of nationhood.
In order to understand what European Union actually is one have to read it's ideological foundation, that is Ventotene manifesto by Spinelli.

Few quotes from said manifesto, that is an official EU document:
Quote
Private property must be abolished, limited
Quote
private ownership of the material means of production must, as a general rule, be abolished
Quote
definitive abolition of division of Europe into national, sovereign States
Quote
the European revolution must be socialist
Pure evil!

EU is a democracy of democracies.
No it is not! Because nobody is electing those who invent the laws, the EU commission.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping crypto from mass adoption? on: October 13, 2019, 08:23:45 AM
I think the one and only reason for adoption going slower and slower these days, is the most important feature of cryptocurrency.
It's the design of the system itself and there is virtually nothing that can be done in order to fix it.
People have to realise that this feature, I'm talking about, is absolutely necessary, crucial and there is no escape from it. This is what makes the game worth playing, real game changer. One word; irreversibility.
Knowledge and education about regular financial systems is the key here. Moment majority recognises how they are being secretly robed of their work by inflation driven by fractional reserve, they will rethink dangers of irreversible transactions, rethink and accept the responsibility that always comes with true freedom. Bitcoin and crypto in general are not designed as nanny systems, those are for slaves and slaves alone, crypto is not.
298  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 12, 2019, 07:25:38 PM
...Should investors invest in it ?
I couldn't care less. Really, why should we bother with already rich to get even higher on this social status ladder?
It's the ordinary people we should care about. It's all about adoption by the everyday folks. Small business, households, elderly people those are the ones, that actually need this magnificent financial independence. Bitcoin is a definition of grass-roots movement, crypto is we - the people, not some wealthy opportunists with more cash than values.
...If you see Bitcoin as a movement, it will probably never fail.
Wise words, this wave is already on the waters, it can't be stopped just like that.
Something literally groundbreaking would have to happen, for us to forget the idea.

300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banking system and BTC on: October 12, 2019, 07:23:19 AM
Nope banking don’t cheat nor steal to their costumer...
Tell this to the people of Cyprus, who where deprived of their money just to bail out falling banking system.
Payouts where denied or limited to couple euro per day. What is that, if not stealing?
They have a private income but when it comes to losses... those get socialized. Looks like a robbery to me.
But banks are sure interest and you have no chance of losing...
Tell this to the people across the world, who where manipulated in to depth denominated to some fancy currency and now they loosing houses and money they already paid. Banks are nothing else than usual, private business. They will do virtually anything to grab as much cash from people as possible. Uncontrolled they will go further and further, to a point of physical harm to millions.
