281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safety first before trading on: December 17, 2019, 02:35:30 PM
Before you do anything with your money like do trading, you should always remember that you will only put an amount that you can afford to lose because when something goes wrong then you will not be frustrated because it is alright for you to lose that money. Learn how to do money management before anything else so it will be easy for other things to follow because you know how to handle your money very well.

Nobody can take care of your money other then you only. If you start trading without having any knowledge then there are bright chances that you will join camp of 'trading losers'. Everyone think crypto trading is very easy, its like buying bitcoin in the morning and selling in the evening.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 17, 2019, 02:14:49 PM
They both came together and will always live and prosper together. While blockchain is getting acceptance from governments ( With Xi’s backing, China looks to become a world leader in blockchain as US policy is absent) bitcoin has a strong community behind him. I don't think from here, bitcoin has any way of going back.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should we focus this year? on: December 17, 2019, 01:46:53 PM
Such an interesting picture that covers everything about blockchain space at this moment. I'm pretty sure that 90-99% so called crypto enthusiasts do not know what blockchain is. Most of them participate this space hoping for quick profit. That is also the reason why we are now still in this deep-freeze winter situation.

Many people mix blockchain with cryptocurrency. It took me time to understand that these two are different technologies. Every new invention requires time to get popular. With time more and more people are getting awareness about blockchain and a compared to 2018 people have more knowledge about blockchain.
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: December 16, 2019, 11:36:48 AM
I was in this situation when I was new in stock trading. whenever i buy any stock it start falling down and when I sale it that stock start moving up. With time I came to know that market ( more precisely tycoons controlling the market) testing our nerves, they kick us out of the market and buy everything at dip and start selling. We the new comers at that moment tart buying.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: December 16, 2019, 11:15:51 AM
If you are willing to take risk then you may choose investment option. Since investment may go in minus or go up twice, thrice or 10x.
In savings, you get fix return on your money (if its in bank). The return you get on your savings is proportional to currency inflation rate.
286  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: December 16, 2019, 10:54:49 AM
In my office, I do have a separate cabin and internet connection but I still don't do trading at the office. I am not a day trader rather a holder for me seeing the market rate once in a day or two are good enough. Avoid doing these illegitimate activities at the office, it may be embarrassing for you if you are caught.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: December 16, 2019, 10:07:47 AM
Everyone thinks crypto investment is very easy and anyone who has cash can do that. But in reality, it's an art that must be learned prior to getting started. Many have made fortunes who played here sensibly, while those who just bought and sell coins based on speculations were not able to recover even their initial investment.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Investements Groups on: December 16, 2019, 09:45:19 AM
First in my list is bitcointalk.org. There are also authentic and interesting news at https://cointelegraph.com/. Steemit is also a great place to stay updated about what is happening in crypto world.
You may join whatsapp or telegram group of crypto investment just to gather information, never follow what they are saying. Use your own vision for buying n selling.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: May Altcoin have chance to rally even if Bitcoin dominance is below 70%? on: December 15, 2019, 02:05:25 PM
Right now BTC Dominance is 66.4% but there is hardly any positive impact of this on altcoins, they are all almost collapsed. I am holding few altcoins (eth and Litecoin) but there season is no where to be seen. My only hope are now with bitcoin rally, if bitcoin go up altcoin will too go up.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: December 15, 2019, 01:31:00 PM
Crypto is an infant child and running the world economic affairs on bitcoin doesn't seem feasible in current circumstances. I personally think that bitcoin is good for private use but because of its anonymous nature it can't be used at state level. As time pass things will get more transparent regarding bitcoin usage.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Fiat Vs Cryptocurrency, which would you choose? on: December 15, 2019, 11:31:14 AM
I will definitely prefer fiat over crypto. With fiat, I can fill up the tank of my car, buy bread for my family and other day to day things. Unfortunately with crypto, there are just a handful of things which I can do in my daily life, its only  good for investment not for daily living.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoin is enough? on: December 15, 2019, 10:58:07 AM
Just like there is no limit of how many $ are enough, there is no limit for bitcoin also. You can accumulate as many as you can there is no limit for that. Right now bitcoin is 7000$, if you save few saotoshi's for future you will get huge return if bitcoin price speculation of 50k go right.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: December 15, 2019, 10:36:48 AM
I dont think selling gold for bitcoin is a good option these days. We are seeing a constant decline in bitocin price and it may go down to unknown price. So better keep your gold with you as its proven asset for centuries. Its very risky to exchnage gold with bitcoin.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a better alternative to Bitcoin and why not use it? on: December 14, 2019, 12:40:43 PM
I'm afraid this simply isn't true. If Bitcoin prices were for some reason to fall and collapse as of today, the entire market of altcoins like digibyte will go collapse as well. If you check the market caps, you would see that when Bitcoin thrives, the majority of altcoins thrive, and vice-versa.
Digibyte has a big community behind it and receives good development but Bitcoin is the foundation upon which other cryptocurrencies were built, if the foundation crumbles, it all falls down.

never heard about this Digibyte. Well, crypto community is in no mood of declaring strong altcoins like ethereum better then bitcoin and here we have a thread in wh Digibyte is declared better then bitcoin. I am totally ruling out this possibility.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 14, 2019, 11:59:13 AM
IEOs are no doubt a safe and secure way to invest in crypto and will defiantly be the future. Not all projects can pay the exchange fee and will still go for ICO. We have to feel for such legitimate and bright projects who cant progress as ICO because of scammers who have destroyed the name of ICO.
296  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: December 14, 2019, 11:25:37 AM
I don’t think so there is any state where internet is available is unaware of bitcoin or crypto currencies on the whole. Governments will try to launch their own cryptos in order to have control over blockchain technology and collect taxes easily from people. No matter how many cryptos get launched bitcoin is not going to lose its importance at all. It will keep acting as king of cryptos because of its decentralized nature.

They will obviously run their own crypto currencies but I don't think that is to control the blockchain technology. They want to adopt the technology and the use of crypto currency so they can make the transactions easier or more efficient. We can't stop them from, well wanting to tax people out of their profits since that is how we know government.

That's the only way government will ever embrace cryptocurrency i.e. by controlling it just like they control fiat. There is no point for governments to go out and embrace decentralized crypto, which will take all the control away from them. Currently, not many governments are taking any serious interest in crypto.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: December 14, 2019, 10:53:11 AM
I've not seen much indication that a bull run is incoming. At the moment it all seems to be about desperation and trying to hold onto current prices before they fall too much farther.
Long term I think we will be fine. Shorter term, I can see prices falling.
You're right, we are nearing the end of this year but there's no signs of major recovery for btc and alts.

Holding for long term is the best to refrain ourselves on keep wondering when will bull run occur. Next year might be good for btc since there's a halving but still the result of it is uncertain for the crypto as a whole.

Those who hold, dont see the market daily and don't get stressed up due to red market. Those who are looking for quick return are always looking for bullish nature of market. Market always take correction on both side, we just need to be patient. I rarely sell my coins in loss due to my holding nature.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto/Blockchain hype over? on: December 14, 2019, 10:26:01 AM
I would say market is stabling now. Yes, in the start many invetors, ICO projects jumped into this but not all survived. All those who were not serious or looking for short term gains are getting out. Now we have majority of mature investors and projects with real use case. with time things will get more and more stable. Seeing the crypto market cap I dont think this saga is over.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: December 13, 2019, 05:05:55 PM
Those of us who have missed the early flight of buying complete bitcoin, for them buying pieces of satohi is the only option left. Since most of us cant buy complete bitcoin now. If bitcoin speculation like 10 million $, 1 million $, 50k $ became true these satoshis will give you return equivalent to gold.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 13, 2019, 04:28:29 PM
Tell me if my plan is bad, the first time i entered crypto space i started with mining rig setups but after some time its no more profitable so i stopped mining, now i start joining airdrops and bounties but present market condition is not helping, now i decide to sell my rig and find other business to divert the money to, if bull run ever comes i will still have coins to sell since most of my bounties i hold the ones with use cases, is selling my mining rig a good call?

There are too many part of your query. You are selling your rig but not stating how much hashing power they have and what coins you are opting to mine. Based on that data one can tell whether you can sell or keep your rig.
Present market is down and I think its a golden time to update your holdings with coins that are available at discounted price.
