141  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Kobe Bryant and Justin Sun – unsportsmanlike conduct on: January 28, 2020, 10:58:03 AM
A world of big money would be nothing without good marketing – but does it always have to be positive? The creator of the cryptocurrency TRON Justin Sun apparently acknowledges that no matter what they say – important that at all..

Kobe Bryant left us with good memories. As a basketball fan everyone will remember him in great words. Life is short and there are very few who make impact and left in good memories.
142  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin halving. on: January 28, 2020, 09:24:32 AM
Will you suggest accumulation of bitcoin before the event?

Accumlate bitcoin but at DIPS. I don't think accumulating bitcoin at current price will be a good idea. What we learned from previous halving is that price has gone, its only guess that this halving will also increase bitcoin price.
143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do they accept bitcoin in your country embassy? on: January 27, 2020, 05:25:02 PM
We have seen a lot of things we can use bitcoin for.like paying of bills, trading I learnt some organizations accept bitcoin not in countries like China.. etc please do they accept Bitcoin at you country traveling embassy?

I haven't came across any such facility where bitcoin or other cryptos are accepted at embassy level. Cryptos are not liked by many governments and there are very slim chances that we see any such facility in near future.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India Central Bank Says It Hasn’t Banned Crypto on: January 27, 2020, 04:31:17 PM
They cant ban it totally since they don't have the authority to do it. Moreover, governments also don't wanna totally quit this market to lose there share. They are trying there best to remain in this market by providing regulations.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Body Of Control? on: January 27, 2020, 02:21:41 PM
First of all that's never gonna happen. Governments and other centralized bodies have already started taking measures against crypto.
In true decentralized crypto there is no council and controlling body, everyone who owns bitcoin has the voting right.
146  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which Country Will Implement BTC/Crypto As Official Payment First ? on: January 27, 2020, 02:05:00 PM
governments will never do this and they will be right in not allowing bitcoin as official currency. Reason is very obvious this will give powers in the hand of people who hold most bitcoins and government will be just an audience in this case.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2020-01-25] Can Bitcoin Price Hit $424,000 Sometime in Late 2021? on: January 26, 2020, 02:20:11 PM
Since 2017 the community is waiting for bitcoin to reach its ATH but no success and we have speculations that bitcoin is going to cross 400k$. I don't think bitcoin is going to cross 400k$ without reaching its ATH of 19k$.
148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Japan reportedly working on a proposal to issue a national digital currency on: January 26, 2020, 10:15:07 AM
Hm, interesting. It might be just rumours, though, or this research can conclude that there is no use in such a digital currency. I believe that's what happened in other countries that looked into similar possibilities.
In case they decide to implement it (which is not likely, I believe), I wonder how it would affect their policies regarding Bitcoin. As far as I know, Bitcoin is currently pretty much legal tender there, but it would probably change if Japan opts for their own currency, right? What do you think?

Japan is most bitcoin friendly country in the world. May be Japanese legislative now think that its time to go hard on bitcoin as other governments are doing. Not many governments in the world are bitcoin friendly.
149  Other / Meta / Re: How I can Increase Ranking on: January 26, 2020, 08:41:02 AM
To go up in rank, first stop looking for merits. Just post normally like you are contributing to this forum. Increase your knowledge and see which posts are getting merits and start posting like them. If you go like that in very short time you will be ranked up. Good luck
150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff's Bitcoin wallet mystery is solved on: January 25, 2020, 05:39:14 PM
Plus surprise, it isn't Bitcoin's fault, which at first was "Bitcoin's fault" as he was trying to indirectly suggest. He's now probably trying to save his reputation because he only made himself look stupid.

My #Bitcoin mystery is solved. I mistook my pin for my password. When Blockchain updated their app I got logged out. I tired logging back in using my pin, which was the only "password" I had ever known or used. I also never had a copy of my seed phrase. Honest but costly mistake!

You can always recover your wallet, if you have carefully written your seed. It's very easy to blame bitcoin but security of your wallet lies on your shoulder. Craig Wright, McAfee and now this drama coming to end.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will Be The Price of Bitcoin After Halving This Year In 2020? Will It I on: January 25, 2020, 04:52:55 PM
I think it's just an over rated thing. Nothing will happen because of coin halving. There are already tens of thread here which discussing impact of halving on price. It's too much man just relax n wait.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BEWARE what you visit! Google's new design makes Ads look like normal results! on: January 25, 2020, 11:33:18 AM
Thanks for sharing this info by starting this thread.
I also noticed this change few days ago. Google try to sell his ads by deceiving his customers. Let's see if we have decentralized search engine which enable us to monetize our data our selves.
153  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: January 25, 2020, 07:25:36 AM
Media hysteria with little to no facts.

Yes media has a story to tell and they got this.
This virus is out and China is taking all possible measures to counter this. They have lock down around 5 cities and building a 1000 bed hospital that will be completed in 10 days.
154  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where do you get latest crypto news? on: January 24, 2020, 02:09:05 PM
For me cointelegraph and bitcointalk.org are two places to learn new things regarding crypto. I haven't find anyother place where I can get latest and authenticated news regarding cryptocurrency.
155  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advantages of having an account on bitcointalk on: January 24, 2020, 01:21:23 PM
The real purpose of bitcointalk.org is to share knowledge among different community members. I never ran after merits since the advantages this platform provides you outweighs the merits. Keep posting quality topics and you will be ranked up automatically.
156  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you guys identify Whale move? on: January 24, 2020, 12:57:08 PM

As i am looking at bitcoin chart now, BTC price just soared little bit in a short time.

It happened because of whale's move or not.

Btw, can anybody identify whale's move? If there is a way to see it, is there a tip for it?

Thx!

Just swim with whales and you will get the benefit. Dont know which pumps are real and which one are backed by whales. Normally whale pumping is not easy to diagnose but abnormal behaviours like that of BSV are totally manipulation by whales.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: January 24, 2020, 12:19:50 PM
I use a standalone wallet version that's only accessible from my PC. The more accessible your wallet is, more you are opening it for hacks. You have to take care of your wallet yourself, once your coin are lost you can never access them again.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying real estate with Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 11:56:11 AM
With the increased adoption of Bitcoin among mainstream businesses and companies alike, we've seen the possibility of exchanging our Bitcoin to tangible assets for our own benefit. The pioneer cryptocurrency has reached far enough to become recognized as a legitimate form of payment within the mainstream world. Institutional investors, and even banks have realized the benefits of Bitcoin, resulting in increased demand across the market. I've seen forex trading with Bitcoin, and even precious metal retailers which accept Bitcoin as payment.

This makes wonder whenever it's possible to buy real estate with Bitcoin? Because if it does, then there would be nothing left for Bitcoin to become used as a serious cryptocurrency for daily payments (other than scaling the Blockchain and increasing privacy). Do you think that mainstream companies or businesses will be able to accept Bitcoin for real estate? Or it is too early to tell? Any thoughts? Huh

If I have a piece of land then I will prefer to sell it in fiat rather than bitcoin. Reason being that BTC is too volatile and not many real use cases of bitcoin exists till date in my country. I think it will take some time  before bitcoin will reach mainstream adoption.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Start buying on: January 23, 2020, 05:39:05 PM
Yesterday bitcoin was 8600$ and just checked its price it has gone down to 8300$. I think it's good time to start buying bitcoin. You never know what's its minimum price is.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sigh... Do i need to hold and sell it later or now? Quite tricky situation. on: January 23, 2020, 05:19:18 PM
At what price you bought bitcoin? If it’s around  8000$ then surly it’s not a good time to sell bitcoin. I don’t know why you are waiting for 21 Feb. If you can wait till coin halving then I recommend wait till for it.
