2841  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are you according to Glassnode classification? on: February 04, 2021, 03:09:36 PM
I would advise this to be a rhetorical question & anybody who has over maybe 10 bitcoin not to publicly announce their position. This forum is rife with scammers & whilst I appreciate different stash categories & it’s kinda cool, I don’t think it’s a good idea to tell people how much money you have but maybe I’m just old fashioned.
2842  Other / Off-topic / Re: So new York vs London? on: February 04, 2021, 01:50:16 PM
I’ve visited New York once only, for 5 days & nights. I really enjoyed it, I wouldn’t want to live there though. It’s too expensive & I prefer a quieter place to live. I lived in London for 7 years as a small boy but my Father moved us further north. I wouldn’t want to live in either city. Both have good job prospects but I’d rather live outside the city.
2843  Economy / Exchanges / Re: KAKEN IS DOWN AGAIN... on: February 03, 2021, 07:54:42 PM
Kraken is a good exchange, it’s highly trustworthy. So they have a bit or downtime, it’s better now than when we come to the peak of the bull run. I’m sure they’ll put measures in place to ensure it doesn’t continue to happen.
2844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 03, 2021, 06:09:48 PM
Awful error by Nick Pope in the Burnley GK position. Only 90 seconds in the game & he makes a really bad mistake, Gabriel Jesus scores & 1-0 to Man City. Burnley will struggle to take anything in this match.
2845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge Coins? on: February 03, 2021, 06:02:45 PM
It’s not for me but I see no harm in investing a couple of hundred $. It’s very cheap so if it goes to a couple of $ per coin in the future you can make some good money. It’s never going to be a mainstream coin though.
2846  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is cheaply made but sold at a ridiculous price? on: February 03, 2021, 05:51:55 PM
I’m going to say something controversial......

My answer is - Everything made in China. How much do you think iPhones cost to make, the parts & labor, literally nothing & they’re sold all around the world for huge profits. So many industries have their product made in China for pittance & sell it for insane profits.
2847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Bangladesh! on: February 03, 2021, 05:24:22 PM
They can’t confiscate what they don’t know about (Hint Hint). VPN’s, Tor etc are available. Maybe you could buy bitcoin from people on the forum in the Marketplace. Paypal purchases would be untraceable to bitcoin.
2848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 03, 2021, 05:21:18 PM
Some predictions from me Smiley

Burnley vs Man City - Away win
Fulham vs Leicester - Away win
Leeds vs Everton - Draw
Aston Villa vs West Ham - Draw
Liverpool vs Brighton - Home win
2849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 02, 2021, 07:41:21 PM
There is a game between Essen and Leverkusen in DFB Pokal right now. Leverkusen didn't rotate the squad much for this game. They just demolished their opponent in the statistics. But they somehow couldn't manage to score any goal and the 90 minutes of the game ended 0-0. Leverkusen have a league game 4 days later and this is a bad thing for the players because this is wearing the players out.

0-0 & it’s gone to extra time. It would be a big upset if Essen can find a win in extra time or on penalties, no?
I love to see an under dog beat a giant in cup matches Smiley
2850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2020/2021 on: February 02, 2021, 06:09:43 PM
Sheffield United vs West Bromwich Albion

Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Arsenal

Manchester United vs Southampton

Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace

I predict a low scoring game in the Sheff U vs WBA match.
Wolves vs Arsenal will be an attacking game, it really could go either way.
Newcastle vs Crystal Palace is a tough one to call, possibly a narrow home win.
Man Utd should be S’ton but you never know, the Saints are a good team.

In short, I am not betting on these games Grin
2851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Big Short? - F2Pool Mining Selloff on: February 02, 2021, 06:02:05 PM
If it’s true then it’s true. They only have a certain number of coins to sell. For every seller there's a buyer & every dip seems to be getting bought up quickly. We’re going to the moon this year any way so more fool them if they’re selling lots this early.
2852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 02, 2021, 05:30:16 PM
The transfer window is closed & rumours will slow down now until the summer. Most January deals were low value & loans, probably due to the financial hit clubs are experiencing due to covid.
2853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 02, 2021, 05:25:52 PM
Wolves - Arsenal

I bet the arsenal will win that game

It is a fact that Wolves have been too bad for a long time. They started having too much difficulty in winning a game. We also know that Arsenal have been getting really good results in the recent times. But I am also unsettled about the possibility that Wolves could get their first win after a long interval. I believe in Arsenal in this game nonetheless.

Wolves are a good team but Arsenal are in good form. It won’t be easy but I do think Arteta’s army will march on with another 3 points tonight. Kick off is in just over 30 minutes.
2854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 99% money in Crypto is dumb money. They buy expensive shitcoins on: February 01, 2021, 07:32:43 PM
Some people just like to make more money over time than their savings would make in crappy fiat banks. You mentioned a 150% return on ETH as a possibility, which probably will happen this year or certainly within the next few years. Where else can you get a 150% return in traditional fiat investments? You certainly won’t get it from an average mainstream banking savings account, especially now.

Throwing money in to new alts is risky. I’m 100% bitcoin any way but i understand why people buy ETH etc.
2855  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BREAKING NEWS: KRAKEN EXCHANGE IS OVER.. on: February 01, 2021, 07:05:11 PM
Just set up limit buys or sells, whatever you feel like. That way it doesn’t make a difference if you can get online during busy times. The orders will get filled automatically.
2856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: February 01, 2021, 06:48:27 PM
The table is starting to take shape at the top now, a much more familiar look to it. Sunday is so interesting in the race for the title. Who do you think will come out on top in Liverpool vs Man City.
2857  Other / Off-topic / Re: Sleeping on: February 01, 2021, 06:39:37 PM
I try to get 8 hours sleep every night. Very often I fail though & end up being quite tired. I always use the weekend to have a lie in & catch up on sleep.
2858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "The Great Reset" on: January 31, 2021, 08:16:11 PM
I’ve long doubted the legitimacy of ‘corona virus aka covid19’. I mean come on, the world is being brought to its knees because of a flu type virus that kills less than 0.5% of people who contract it? There is something more to this & The Great Reset is probably it, leaders just needed an excuse & this flu virus is a pretty lame one imo.

Thankfully we have bitcoin, they can’t take that from us.
2859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: January 31, 2021, 07:46:19 PM
It seems that Liverpool is back in the winning truck. They beat Tottenham 3-1 in the previous match. They are now leading by 2-0 against West Ham in today's match. They will also win today's match. The Premier League is becoming more competitive day by day. Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Leicester all the teams are playing just great.

Yeah, it’s really tight at the top. I think Liverpool plays Manchester C next weekend so if they could find a win there it would be very few points separating possibly the top 4.
2860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There's nothing special about BTC, you will make MUCH more $ in the stock market on: January 30, 2021, 07:59:20 PM
OP is another jealous noob who’s annoyed he didn’t get into BTC earlier. Instead of moaning & trying to annoy people on a BTC forum, why not buy what you can afford to & hold it for many years. That’s what we all do, just some of us were earlier than others. Don’t be bitter, be better Smiley

Buy what you can afford to with your monthly pay cheque & in 10 years you might be rich. I guarantee you that whatever you invest in BTC now will be worth more in $ terms in 10 years than the vast majority, if not all stocks in that time frame.

Fiat currency & traditional investments, which includes the stock market are going down the toilet. The world economy is ruined. Bitcoin is the future, be a part of it & buy.

It’s never too late.
