1881  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Bogdanoff brothers are dead on: January 08, 2022, 08:25:49 PM
I did read about it, big shame. They were definitely very different but I guess pretty special guys. They claim to know who Satoshi is or even have worked on bitcoin themselves which is obviously not true. I wish their families the very best though. Odd they died within days of each other, apparently they both didn’t take the vaccine. I hope they rest in peace though, at least they are together now.
1882  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: January 07, 2022, 09:43:20 PM
There should be solid buy interest at anything around $40,000 so I hope we don’t see the $30,000’s again. If we do dip below $40,000 then hopefully it is very briefly & we can have a relief rally. It feels incredibly cheap at the moment, I don’t expect much lower than the current prices.
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Selling isn't the end it's just the beginning to have more coins on: January 07, 2022, 09:33:01 PM
It’s really quite simple to be honest. You do the opposite of what most others do. You buy when everybody else is afraid & you sell (some) when everybody else is greedy. Human psychology means most people do the opposite though which is why there aren’t many rich people.
1884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos says to stop using paper wallets, do you agree? on: January 06, 2022, 05:56:59 PM
I’ve only ever used paper wallets in 2014 & 2015 when I was a newbie. I don’t use them now & don’t plan to ever again. Just stick with Trezor & you won’t go far wrong. They have a long history of good service & impenetrable security.
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 06, 2022, 05:29:23 PM
Owning 0.01BTC will not make you rich any time soon. It will one day but we are talking years here, like 30 or 40. Even then I’m going to advise you try & stack far more than 0.01 BTC.
1886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 13.4% Drop As Result of KAZAKH Government Resigns. on: January 06, 2022, 02:24:52 PM
We’ve been in a descending channel ever since we hit 69k back in November. I think it’s just a gradual move in to a bear market. I don’t think Kazakhstan has anything to do with it. This is how bitcoin works in these 4 year cycles. Next bull market starts 2024.
1887  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we sell all crypto now? on: January 06, 2022, 01:44:21 PM
No you shouldn’t sell all your crypto now, if you didn’t sell in November or December when prices were much higher then why the hell would you sell now?

We probably are entering a bear market now, it happens but you definitely don’t sell on the way down. Ieep your eye on the markets & buy when you think it’s low enough. We could be 12 months or so from the bottom though. You buy at the bottom & you sell at the top, not vice versa.
1888  Other / Off-topic / Re: Novak Djokovic's VISA got cancelled [Australian Open 2022] on: January 06, 2022, 01:30:46 PM
It’s not decided yet but there are appeals ongoing & people trying to prove his claimed exemption for not taking the vaccine. Hopefully he is able to compete, the Oz Government has been so strict throughout though. There is no guarantee they will accept his exemption claims.

On a light hearted note, kinda funny his first name is Novak i.e. Novax lol.
1889  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin closing balance on exchanges on: January 03, 2022, 07:20:39 PM
Yeah any large, unusual, late 2021 bitcoin deposits to bitcoin exchanges was likely because exchanges in China were giving mainland China account holders until 31st December to stop trading bitcoin. This likely let to large inflows to exchanges & then selling before the exchanges aren’t allowed to provide services to mainland Chinese people any more. Hopefully the price picks up soon, now that the selling pressure will lower.
1890  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin to Shiba Inu. on: January 03, 2022, 05:54:02 PM
I dunno because it’s a different joke/meme coin that does well every cycle. You might have missed the boat on both, it’ll be something different next tike, maybe Floki Inu, I dunno.
1891  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which cryptocurrency wallet should I choose? on: January 03, 2022, 05:31:30 PM
Use a hardware wallet, don’t store anything of too much value on an online wallet. The main ones are trezor & ledger. Make sure you only buy them from the official sources.

www.ledger.com
1892  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HAPPY NEW YEAR on: December 31, 2021, 08:14:20 PM
Happy New Year to the OP & all of you here at bitcointalk. I have a feeling 2022 will be a bearish year for crypto but that doesn’t have to be a bad thing. Use it to your advantage & buy what you can afford to when blood is in the streets. Most importantly though good luck & good health to all of you.
1893  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tell me some funny jokes on: December 31, 2021, 03:42:39 PM
Your Momma so fat, every time she turn around it’s her birthday again Smiley
1894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Died 45 Times in 2021! on: December 31, 2021, 02:19:52 PM
You can’t kill what won’t stay down Wink
Too many uninformed people have too much to say about bitcoin. Most of the time it is boomers, people in high power in government office or legacy financial positions. They are proved wrong time & time again. Bitcoin is going nowhere.
1895  Other / Off-topic / Re: Regrets of 2021 on: December 31, 2021, 02:02:02 PM
My biggest regret is out of my control. I just wish bitcoin went higher, we were all expecting over 100k per coin but we only got to 69k. Obviously I wish I bought SHIB & SOL but that’s in hindsight, I was never going to buy them.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A different December indeed on: December 31, 2021, 01:59:47 PM
Today is 31st of December and by now you should have know that 100btc in 2021 is impossible and also things is different this time around, December is always a good year for crypto most especially when bull season is still around but this December brakes that history and become something we haven't seen before, what have you learn here?

The bull cycle has been very different. We have had two rounded tops in 2021, not a parabolic run which is different. We didn’t go as high as many of us expected but hopefully that means we don’t have the usual 80%+ dump during the bear market. Maybe bitcoin is becoming a mature asset & we will see diminishing returns & smaller dips in the bear markets. Maybe the pandemic diluted our bull run. We will find out in time.
1897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc is boring on: December 30, 2021, 11:07:31 PM
OP is not going to make it, he really isn’t. Investing is all about conviction & patience, very few people get rich quick. You need to be willing to buy bitcoin & hold it for years. If you can’t stand the heat then get out of the kitchen because bitcoin isn’t for you.
1898  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU ANY OF YOU WORKOUT?🏋💪 on: December 30, 2021, 10:44:13 PM
I’m average weight & body type for my age, I’m not super fit though. I do walk a few miles maybe 4 times a week. I am definitely not a gym freak although I probably should do a lot more. It’s tough to motivate yourself.
1899  Other / Off-topic / Re: CHRISTMAS WISH on: December 29, 2021, 03:47:32 PM
Simple, bitcoin to go to something outrageous like $10,000,000 per coin. That will give me everything I need, without the need for any more wishes Cheesy

I must confess that I never saw this coming

Haha always think outside of the box my brother. It’s a shame that we don’t get any wishes in real life. We just have to work hard for what we have & treat people around us with love & respect. That way our conscience is clear & we attract good karma.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Happy New Year! 2022 is upon us - share your (top 5) coins on: December 29, 2021, 12:14:40 AM
1. Bitcoin - It’s still the King, always will be.
2. ETH - Solid coin, will still give big profits for years to come.
3. Solana - Has the potential to make huge gains in the long term.
4. Floki Inu - I have a feeling this will explode.
5. DOGE - Still has a big cult following, will pump.
