2861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ArtByte (ABY) on: August 09, 2017, 10:17:14 PM
This coin has cycled nicely in the last four months, always goes up and down so far.  Has made a steady growth upwards over that time as well.  It's also a fairly old coin.

I'm looking for low entry high stake percentage coins.

Reading "200% yearly degrading stake," what is the staking percent this year?

2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Signatum, a good investment? on: August 09, 2017, 04:05:54 PM
NO signatum is a scam . its the same scam by previous scammer Crowetic.
He was a dev of Qora and Burst, he promised a lot of qora and burst updates in the past 12 months, do read his bitcoin talk posts
qora had 0 development and it was pumped and dumped by him and ciyam on poloniex on fake promises. eventually it got delisted.

Now burst will get delisted from polo soon as well and it was pumped from 50 to 800 sats by him

Now he got into signatum scam and is pumping it right now, hes a well known scammer

this is his twitter profile https://twitter.com/crowetic

be careful and dont fall for scams

Burst was pretty cutting edge, right?  Isn't it the first of its type?  Burst and Qora are both accepted by people following the threads.  Lots of cryptos go down for a while and come back up, as is the case of Qora.  Maybe he is trying to work on new technologies, as it does sound Signatum is trying to achieve with both Tor and regular environments being seemless.   It's easy to complain and point fingers, much harder to do anything yourself.

2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Why the top 50 old coins may not have to go up to old highs on: August 08, 2017, 10:33:26 PM
Bitcoin has gone up three times, and so the measuring stick has changed.   We keep thinking that the major old coins have to go up to old highs, that old sell orders have to be hit, but that might be an impossibility.  It doesn't mean their value or worth has changed, or people are abandoning them, just that the ratio to bitcoin has changed, since Bitcoin keeps going up.  Thoughts?
2865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cryptocurrency should grow when the right business people get involved on: August 08, 2017, 08:41:11 PM
If you take the idea that patterns which can be observed on a small scale, also have the possibility of displaying on a larger scale, there is a pattern that is going on in crypto.  That pattern is well known in business: programmers cannot communicate properly, it takes a business person or someone with more of a communications background, like English majors, to communicate the ideas properly.   Crypto dev's and mining teams are the worse communicators generally.   As someone with a BA in English composition and also a C++ programming background, I can often understand what's being said and I've mined about ten coins in about as many pools, but it was almost like the information was being protected, the directions were so bad.... but this pattern is exactly why more people can't make money in crypto.  It should be explained something like, "Do you want to make money doing what you're already doing?"  It's unfortunate that this is what MLM people also say, but it's true in crypto.  Do you want to get coins from playing games, or promoting link/pictures on social media, and so on.

Hopefully, these right business people will be ethical people who are inclusive, who want to fight the dumbing down of people by the corporations, want to help end homelessness ("strengthening the arm of the poor" as it says in Ezekiel 13:2), who are against many things that are being pushed today that seems to be causing epic levels of addiction in the people.
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Signatum, a good investment? on: August 08, 2017, 06:03:31 PM

Have you recently seen this coin ?

Signatum SIGT really seems to have a big potential,
new algo, fast transactions and a good statement to privacy promoting tor, great community, good mining profits

i Bought some coin whilst it almost hit its high but i still have good hopes that it will easily recover to another level.

Would you invest just more if theres a good posibility that it will reach top exchanges?

There was just a thread in Speculation on this coin.  I agree it's a good coin.  It seems like the food cycle of crypto: put together a good coin from a good team and if it serves a purpose, it's sure to go up to make some early adopters money.  I guess I missed this one by not monitoring the Annoucements thread close enough. This one has a low total supply.
2867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NobleCoin[NOBL] - 8% PoS | 1Yr+ | MARKETPLACE | PAY | GIFT | CHARITIES/MERCHANTS on: August 08, 2017, 05:18:42 PM
This is a great coin for future profits.  I've spent the last two months looking intensely at low price coins, especially POS ones.  Most of them have huge sell walls either at the 1 or 2 sat range, or a bit higher.  Noble doesn't have this.  It can actually go up 3x relatively easily, if some people get behind it.   Plus, it has a higher POS interest than many other coins.
I like NOBL, I've been buying a small amount recently, the price was much higher a few months ago when it was on Polo, just needs a bit of momentum

Of course, fake sell walls can be put up or maybe people make more realistic sell walls at any one time.  Looks like Noble just got two large sell walls at 8 and 10 sat compared to a few hours ago.  I guess you can tell a possible fake sell wall in that there is not as much large selling going on in the sats ranges in the same neighborhoods.  Other coins like inflation coins have them all around in the same 1, 2, 3, and up range.
2868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: August 08, 2017, 05:07:34 PM
Version V has a good team and is low entry, 60% POS and anyone can mine it on old Sha256 miners.  No high sell walls for moving up either.   The dev is working on a new Windows wallet that has lower CPU usage.

Of course, fake sell walls can be put up or maybe people make more realistic sell walls at any one time.

Was impressed with the staking on Truckcoin which is another one Noise maintains.   Looking forward to the new wallet.  Good lower entry staking coins are rarer then people think, especially ones without huge sell walls.  That means the coin can go up in value.

If that is the case then I would definitely like to try and buy a couple, generally what percentage of  the low cost coins gone up in value? If you don’t mind me asking of course.

I have had good luck on Cryptopia starting about two months when I started focusing more on buying them because the trading market was very bad elsewhere.   Many coins went from 1 or 2 sat to 10 or 15 sats, but then came down again.  I make sure I am not greedy and make constant sell orders that will cover the cost of investment.  I know to get 10% in investing is considered good.

One of my biggest faults so far in trading these is still buying again and again a coin while it is going up to ranges that are unproven in hitting those highs, at least in the last year to 2.5 years. They may pan out long term but outside at my range of favorable time, the time I like to trade in, which is 1 month max for these shorter term investments.

As far as actual coins, all you would have to do, if it can be done without an account, is go to cryptopia and do a sort on the price column to see the lowest price coins.   Look at the history and you'll see a lot of them have gone up and down 3 or 4 times their current amounts.   This cycling used to happen big time on Poloniex.

The coins I have found there are Lindacoin, Tekcoin, Jyn Erso (a star wars/sci fi coin which there are many),  Kayi, and Chiefcoin to name a few.  I'm not saying those are coins to buy, just that they went up from lower ranges.  Some low price coins won't go up.   Noblecoin looks different now because a lot of these have big sell walls, which means it will take a lot of money in orders to move them up a few satoshis.

2871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is best PoS coin to invest into right now? on: August 08, 2017, 04:01:01 PM
This is mostly just a repeat of what I just wrote in the Noble thread.  I've spent the last two months looking intensely at low price coins, especially POS ones.  Most of them have huge sell walls either at the 1 or 2 sat range, or a bit higher.  Noble can actually go up 3x relatively easily, if some people get behind it.   Plus, it has a higher POS interest than many other coins, at 8%.  I used to just buy on Poloniex and Bittrex but now including these other low sat coins as a hedge and it's worked out great.

Not doubting the report from slack that good things are happening, I would just rather have a dialog here.

I believe you can put value into a cryptocurrency that makes the price go up.  Is there some action that be achieved in light of the vision statement?  How can ROSCA bootstrap someone and it get on the news?   How can someone we know get funded for research like the OP describes?  I'm serious about my questions.  I invest a little in a lot of coins so I don't have time to read the whole thread.  I would rather dialog here to see if people are active in this community.   People always say "join the slack group" which is fine but this is the easiest way to do due diligence.
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BUY SIGNATUM! on: August 07, 2017, 10:28:13 PM
The chart looks beautiful but too late for buy signatum right now. I will believe the price will be back again into the hundred satoshi. But thanks for your advice that gives the more choice about the good investment. I will consider to buy signatum at the big dip in the future.
Right about that. Too late to buy into this, but great prospect to keep on the horizon

There aren't that many total coins, 71 million.

So we just vote by posting in this thread?

1000 people = 3000 tokens to each person
2000 people = 1500 tokens
500 people =  6000 tokens for each of us

I vote 1.

Some of us might not have much Ethereum experience and it should be posted if this is like a Token for Ethereum that you need the Mist browser, etc. for.  I use Waves tokens with its interface, but this will be my first Ether wallet token, if that's what it is.

The Dev said he wanted some communication in the thread, so maybe someone can give some feedback on this.  Will the Mist browser be the best platform for this?

Personally myetherwallet.com is my best choice for anything ether related. Crosscheck to be sure you are on the right page. You go there and follow the instructions to set up an etherwallet. Save your json file and private keys offline. Its pretty straight forward.

Thanks.  I ended up figuring that out and have the Ethereum blockchain downloading on a spare computer.

I sent an updated address and bots are supposed to use the newest one, but this one didn't and has my first address which is just an exchange address.
