2921  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 25, 2014, 11:34:34 AM

I've picked up my desk the last Friday (21.03).

Did you talk to them and/or saw anything worth reporting?

He explained me the delays he had in the time with PCB and PSU supplier. Cristian has also confirmed that the next gen will be not sold as pre-order.

But he seems to work hard to corrects his mistakes and delays.

But your 400 Gh device should have no problem with PSU... They told me that only the 1Th desks need the special PSUs.

So can you look what kind of PSU you finally recieved? Is it even capable of providing the 1500 watt? Or did they fob you off with a cheap 700 Watt PSU?
Please take a close look at your device.

That's the reason I always ask for photos.

I've picked up my desk the last Friday (21.03).

So you recieved your 400 Gh desk...

And are you happy with it? Post some pics please.

How loud is it, how much watt does it consume?

Thanks

Even if we wouldn't troll around like we did, it wouldn't have changed anything. Bitmine scamed EVERY customer on the day we per-ordered the first device. I am sure they NEVER intended to even consider deliver any device as promised. The hole CCP is just a perfect scam. They get the money for the devices in OCTOBER / NOVEMBER and can build the miners and mine with them until late April or even longer.

What kind of amateurish company is inflicted by how some trolls behave in a forum... haha

That reminds me of those feminists who want to ban the word "bossy", ... so that those poor girls will not be badly influenced.. haha
What does that tell you about the "leadership" quality of girls that must be saved from "bad words"?

Just understand how ridiculous this is, that giorgiomassa himself told us how terrible those trolls are and how much damage they cause...

Can you imagine any professional business giving a shit about what some trolls are spouting in a forum?

I am now not ashamed to say, that I freaking love the "trolls" here, because hopefully they helped scare some people away, so that the amount of victims falling into the bitmine-trap was limited.

Sadly, the amount of trolling back in november was not "loud enough"... and the freakish bitcoin price boom made many people blind.

2924  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 25, 2014, 11:14:32 AM
Even the trolls here are getting tired to troll.

That is so true.

As far as I know, no one has recieved any miner in the last two weeks.

Ofcourse, that bitmine creates 30-50 devices a day, and has to handle hundreds of calls and emails a day, is a pure lie.

Neither do they create as many devices, nor are they really doing any good support.
Even their email-support seems like automatic responses... like they just press a button or something.
2925  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 25, 2014, 11:08:17 AM
... they had no skills to make miners....

That's the key point, that most important part of the equation.

But the reality is: IF bitmine really knew how to efficiently build miners, they would just build and use them for themselves, and just be a private mining company.
That would be Plan A, that every capable business would do.

Since they DO NOT understand how to do that, they do next best business, call it Plan B:

Luring in gullible people to sell them (with an incredible delay) overpriced machines that are barely tested .

With the money they make, they can reinvest into more capable highly expensive specialists, so they can go back to Plan A: building the machines for themselves.

People, we are just Plan B for an amateurish startup, get used to it.  Cool

...has access to millions of dollars, ...

It depends though...

If you look at https://blockchain.info/de/charts/balance?address=1Cz1pTK8GxsJqdHQrFLWh77WwYsyqyDX3k

Doesn't that mean that "bitmine et al" recieved most of their BTC in september 2013, and got rid of that money immediately after (probably converted to FIAT).

It would be hilarious to know that they probably sold 5000 BTC when BTC was 100 $, right before the price of BTC jumped 10x.

It's only after Nov 2013 that you see a change in behaviour, like they steadily start to hold on to the BTC they have, instead of spending it immediately.

Can't help a little bit of Schadenfreude  Roll Eyes
2927  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 25, 2014, 10:18:51 AM
I don't know why they don't just buy some more then. Surely 2 weeks delay isn't acceptable to even them?

This: 1Cz1pTK8GxsJqdHQrFLWh77WwYsyqyDX3k is (one of) their wallets used when buying form them (not mining). Currently got over 4000 BTC sitting in it.

All I want is my single figure BTC refund.

I just want to confirm that my payment for my September 12 order did also end up in this wallet

https://blockchain.info/address/1Cz1pTK8GxsJqdHQrFLWh77WwYsyqyDX3k

I still have not see any equipment ship

I can confirm that the payment I made in end of november 2013 also ended up in this wallet.
The address I had to send the money to is connected to this wallet too

https://blockchain.info/address/1JhtQUk3vwzVvrYq4B5FJsvMcRXfcf7aQC

 Cool

The BTC was transfered away from this address to 1Cz1pTK8GxsJqdHQrFLWh77WwYsyqyDX3k

PS isn't it crazy that bitmine (and whoever is behind them) has access to millions of dollars, but seems amateurish on so many levels. Mt.Gox comes to mind.
2928  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 24, 2014, 05:23:55 PM

order nr.?

32XX

I should say that I am located in switzerland. That might speed up shipment... (I guess, I don't know what bitmine is "thinking")

2929  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 24, 2014, 04:46:00 PM

hallo allerseits
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ygim9rmf5RQ&feature=youtu.be

english:

Thanks for your Infos.
Please tell me, how many watts does a 1TH coindesk now really need to run?
You say the fuses have blown out? Does this probably mean that the coindesk needs even more watt for a few seconds when you start it?
2931  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 17, 2014, 09:14:51 PM
some news ? shipping dates or did somebody get the miner ?
hello i have miner 1000ghs and 50%.  so I got two miners each 800ghs and power supply to 1000wat. I'm working through the CEX and mine every day 0:18 bitcoin. this macine is not profitability for bitcoin any more. electricity power cost 220 eur per month. once you get the miners you must mine all other coins.

here is some pics

Thank you for your photos.

Can you tell me when you made the order?
2932  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 14, 2014, 01:57:28 PM
dont feed the trolls

edit:  i wouldnt be surprised if our threadtrolls are getting their devices extra delayed ;-)

Retrogamer was one of the loudest complainers here (and he was called a troll by the likes of you), and he got all his devices a few days ago.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=486808.msg5650960#msg5650960

So, I give bitmine that. I don't think they are this wicked that they would ostracize some of us for "trolling".

2933  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 14, 2014, 01:05:19 PM
Does anybody know if I can change the delivering adress?

I cant get ANY support on bitmine - allready send them two emails, and no response.

So I need to ask here.

thanks

You have to give them a phone call them repeatedly, until you get thru.

2934  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 14, 2014, 12:43:35 PM
This.....the behaviour is appalling. Some people cannot take pressure, and this is all this thread shows.....imho.

You don't get it.

If only there WAS pressure, that's what we want.

Where there is pressure there is progress.

Instead we are left with unclarity, uncertainty, and a feeling of being played.
2935  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 14, 2014, 04:22:43 AM

Matt, if this thread was only filled with shipping progress from Giorgio, then it'd be a very very small thread, and what was in here would be 100% lies.  I'd rather read the honest frustrations of BITMINE customers, than listen to a single word from Giorgio the (Insert your own insult here).

Exactly.

I don't mind delays and problems, as long as they are openly communicated and justified.
That's when problems are admitted, confronted and solved.

But bitmine seems like a bunch of amateurs who won't admit mistakes, so they don't have to confront them... but rather they hide behind this nebulous facade of undetermined unscheduled Agenda.
That's why they run continuously into new problems...

Promising everything and delivering nothing is an offense, because it adds insult to injury.

Imagine you are on the bar of the sinking titanic and the waiter keeps reassuring you: "everything is fine, sir, do you want more wine? No sir, the floor isn't tilting, the wine is getting to your head."
2936  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 14, 2014, 04:13:44 AM
Most of the best con artists have the gift of the gab (sorry for my English sayings), i.e. they are good at lying, you my friend have been Pwnd by Bitmine.

"Gift of Gab" is a perfect description of how I percieve bitmine.ch

It's the art of talking endlessly, without really saying anything meaningful.

2937  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 14, 2014, 04:09:04 AM
Band of ignorant! Don't you think am I not upset with BITMINE as everybody else who are waiting for their pre-order? but try to put things in the right prospective: when it come to deliver in time, who really has kept his word so far? Not many company if none... So why are you trying to tarnish the reputation of a small startup like BITMINE?

Instead of trowing insult at them, try to focus on something constructive and wait patiently.

I went to visit their premises because yes I thought they were gangster as I got mislead by a bunch of stupid guys like giorgiotheclown who tries everything to denigrate BITMINE and I can tel you that my visit was worth every penny. they are not a scam and by no means unprofessional but try hard to conquer a market that is new to everyone. So stop mocking them and don't think that I'm related to BITMINE as I'm not.

Then please explain the following:

More than a month ago, bitmine stated that they can create 30-50 devices a day.

No matter how you put it, since then, about 1000 devices should have been created and shipped.

But we have seen only a handful of people recieve a few devices.

So explain this please. While you were visiting the small office rooms of bitmine, did you get a glimpse of those extremely busy workers creating 30-50 devices a day, or not?

ALL the claims and statements by bitmine have been confusing and deceptive.

From my estimated delivery date I've see 5 jumps.

FUCK OFF  Angry

It's crazy, ... and the nightmare isn't over.  Angry
2939  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 13, 2014, 02:41:54 PM
Did anyone (order from December 2013, batch #2) received a Coincraft Desk yet ?

I don't think so...

The way this goes,
I have to guess the December Devices being delivered in March
January Devices being delivered in April
February Devices being delivered in May.
etc...

That means that bitmine creates about 5 devices a day at most.

I have to guess, but there is no other explanation for those neverending delays.

Please anybody who gets his device, post here immediately with some photos and when you ordered.

We cant trust bitmine do give us reliable data, that's why we need users to stand up and give us information.

So once you get your device PLEASE post here or in the unofficial thread.

2940  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: March 12, 2014, 03:45:03 PM
The CPP was meant to be a compromise between and acceptable risk for our customers and an acceptable risk for us. The concept is this: we could possibly delay, we understand this is a loss for you so we are compensating this loss with additional hashing power (+10% every 10 days). If we are really so much late that waiting would make no more sense for you (the famous "61 days"), then you can cancel your order, get the money back and even get a 10% free gift from us for the troubles you had. So the answer is no, after the 61st day we are not giving more than 50% of compensation because that would result in a plain loss for us, you can either wait for the 50% compensated order to be shipped or cancel the order as per above.

I'm not aware of any other Bitcoin mining equipment manufacturer in the world that offers such a good customer protection. Our primary goal is customer's satisfaction and we are working hard to achieve this.

Something that will trigger in 100% of all cases (and also for the total amount possible --->50% CPP) can't be considered risk anymore, but it should be called deliberate.

If new customers knew in advance that the chance for total CPP is actually 100% then I dare say that only few people would make an order.

giorgiomassa, the CPP isn't here so you can abuse it at will, and so you can chill out, and use the extra time to the full extend.

CPP should have never been triggered...

Now I am 100% sure that you deliberately send every customer on this nightmarish 50% CPP trip.
(the way you talk and treat your customer, the way your business constantly runs into new problems. Makes you look like you want problems to happen so you can dance the CPP dance, instead of keeping the problems away)
... and we should be thankful for that?

I just want to make it clear to you, that no one feels thankful or grateful for the CPP, so stop talking about customer satisfaction and good customer protection.

How can I explain this to you: Listen, I have fire insurance and car insurance and life insurance etc... and I do not EVER WISH FOR THE INSURANCE PLAN TO TRIGGER...
because it would mean that my house burned down, or my car crashed, or somebody died in the family.

HOW CAN A SANE PERSON WANT THAT?

No one in their right mind has insurance and hopes that the damage will occur!

How can you say that we should be happy for having this insurance, while knowing that EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US will have the damage event 100% triggered to the fullest extent?

People subscribe to insurances so they can sleep at night, but never do they hope that the actual damage event really happens!
They'd rather just pay a fee and stay without damage forever.

But you made sure that every single one of us got the maximum amount of damage triggered.

So really, what good is an insurer who doesn't do everything in their power to prevent the damage event, but instead triggers it to the full extent?

Ah wait, you are NOT an insurer, and CPP is just a marketing trick. People must get this!
