2941  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your projects for the next lockdown(s)? on: July 29, 2021, 10:14:19 AM
I am looking for inspirations..

I don't think there will be another lockdown, atleast for the vaccinated people. I got the vaccine to have my old life back and not be locked into my room all the time. If there would be another lockdown it has to be for the anti vaxxers only. Otherwise why get in the first place.
2942  Other / Politics & Society / Re: You will not need to work until 2030 because you will have enough money on: July 29, 2021, 09:39:12 AM
Sounds good to me, I would try it out immediately. Just close down shop and move to Thailand or Indonesia. Get a small house directly at the beach and enjoy live. I bet many people would leave the western countries immediately. Why bother with the horrible weather if you just can go and enjoy life. But after 2030 we have to go back into our old job? That will be sad.
2943  Other / Off-topic / Re: A gift for a sportsman on: July 29, 2021, 09:34:27 AM
My friend is into sports. To be precise, he takes up cycling. His birthday is coming up and I want to give him a present. But I don't know what to give sportsmen. Clothes? Money?

For a good friend I would always buy something, money is a bit impersonal. I know that cyclist love high functional clothes when they ride bikes. Why not look for a cool new bike shirt? These come always handy, especially for longer tours where you change your clothes regularly.
2944  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you save your money? on: July 29, 2021, 08:58:06 AM
Saving is not an option anymore in my country. For years we have now interest rates at 0% and there is even a negative interest rate on your savings if you have too much money. The only risk free alternative is buying money market funds that invest in government bonds. But here you need to pay fees, so if you leave your money for less than 2 years in such funds the interest you get will be lower than the buying and selling fee. And this is everything before inflation. Once taking inflation into consideration there is no way to make any money from saving. We need to go into investing if we want to save money.
2945  Other / Politics & Society / Re: At least 100 Dead, 1,300 Missing... on: July 29, 2021, 08:47:10 AM
The sad thing about this flood was that it was known beforehand. All the other European countries were aware of the floods coming atleast 48-72 hours beforehand. And even the German government was informed. But all these warnings were never passed down to the people and no real evacuation took place. I hope some people are going to be held accountable for this disaster.
2946  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you yet allowed to book your third Covid jab (booster shot)? If not, when? on: July 28, 2021, 09:17:46 PM
In my country its not yet allowed to get the 3rd jab. So far around 70% of the 18+ year old have received the first injection. There is no more appointments in the vaccine centers and also no priority, all come as you go. The government said they want to get up to 85% vaccination rates before starting with the 3rd injection. And the they will start again with elderly first. This probably going to take a while again.
2947  Other / Off-topic / Re: The most profitable ways to earn cryptocurrency? on: July 28, 2021, 09:12:14 PM
I used to earn cryptocurrency by mining. Then I tried trading on a cryptocurrency exchange.
What are the most profitable ways to earn cryptocurrency in 2021?

The best way to earn a lot of crypto currencies is to get a well paying job and just buy crypto coins from your salary each month. The times of a lot of free crypto coins are offer. We need fiat money now to buy them.
2948  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Coronavirus Outbreak on: July 28, 2021, 08:53:04 PM
It's been almost 2 years since the outbreak and we still have no clarity of the corona outbreak. Why is there no international pressure towards scientists and China to finally get some answers? There are so many different theories out there how it all started, some more plausible than others. But without a team of international scientists who are independent and get full access to Wuhan it will never be answered.
2949  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Another new phase of Convid-19 due to unvaccinated people on: July 28, 2021, 08:44:43 PM
You have to wonder why they suppress the research that indicates that natural immunity gives protection for 11 years after recovering fron cv infection. That is only true if you don't have a compromised immune system.

But how long are you compromised with your immune system? I don't think it is very likely that your immune system take years to recover from the vaccine. What about recovering from a cold? Would you be more vulnerable for corona then? Probably any disease will be bad in connection with corona. Also 11 years seems really long. Are you sure?
2950  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is COVID-19 cure possible? on: July 28, 2021, 04:59:32 PM
Do you think they will be able to create some type of medicine which is going to be effective against the virus any time soon, because we all see that the vaccines maybe won't be the key to beating the virus? Huh

Yes I think we will get a corona medicine eventually. At the moment most pharma companies focus on vaccines because they are more profitable. A vaccine is going to be taken by everybody, billions of people. While the medicine is only to be taken by the severe ill patients, which is a much smaller number.
2951  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If Trump had said the sky was blue... on: July 28, 2021, 04:43:15 PM
It's funny to think about it, but if he had say so, and the msn would have told you it's a lie, who would you have believed? your benevolent news sources, let me guess, it depends on how retard you are Smiley.

Why not just verify yourself? Any politicians will give statements that are true or false. No one is completely honest. We as the voters need to check.
2952  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: July 28, 2021, 04:39:54 PM
Sometimes higher education doesn't mean success, but most of the times it means stability. Good example is the book millionaire next door, shows how all self-made millionaires invest in their children education and yet their children don't follow the same path.

I think that a higher education gives us the chance to easier switch jobs. It gives an indication to our future employer that we are willing to put in the hours and learn something. If we only want to work in one area and never switch that we don't really need a higher education. Only if its some top level jobs like becoming a doctor where the level of education is mandetory.
2953  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Unvaccinated people dying and begging for vaccination on: July 24, 2021, 03:16:39 PM
This is very sad, after the first vaccination shot the immunity is not very strong. And even after the second one it takes 14 days to get into affect. We need to be aware that the vaccine is not a medicine, you can't take it if you are already infected. As far as I know there is no real medicine yet against corona. The pharma companies worked hard for a vaccine and didn't do much test for medicines.
2954  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Abortion should be banned. on: July 24, 2021, 12:40:30 PM
what's your take on that?

It's hard to say that abortion should be banned. What if protection is too expensive in a country? Or there is a problem and protection doesn't work? Or a woman gets assaulted? Not every child is planned. And if the mother is alone and don't want the child she will treat it badly. In hard cases abortion should be allowed.
2955  Other / Off-topic / Re: Share your reason why you started to play Cryptocurrencies on: July 24, 2021, 08:13:09 AM
To me, the reason I got involved to Cryptocurrencies / Crypto community is the blooming news and information on the media that raised my interests and curiosity to know more. As a normal man, I am interested with all the new things.... and love to learn what I don't know. including new technology, new gadgets... so what's yours?

First I heard about crypto currencies was many years ago. I saw that online casinos accept them and it is faster and cheaper to use them to transfer funds. I got interested and wanted to know more. When I realised that they were independent from governments I got hooked. In my opinion crypto currencies are the future.
2956  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia is the source of world evil on: July 22, 2021, 10:36:28 AM
I don't know about this one, Russia bashing feels so like the 60s and 70s with the cold war. In my opinion we need to engage with any country and instead of practicing isolation, we need to try and set good examples and work on connecting our countries. Russia is after USA the second largest nuclear power in the world. No one can afford a direct confrontation with Russia. We need talks and better agreements, not threats and isolation.
2957  Other / Off-topic / Re: It Take Time to perfect your SKILLS on: July 22, 2021, 10:10:04 AM
Skills are important to make us attractive for our future employers. Or if we want a raise in our current job, if we can show that we have stronger skills than our coworkers a raise should just be fair. I remember during my introduction week on university that one professor told us of we want to specialise in something and really master a skill it is going to take a lot of time. In average we need to invest 10,000 hours to really get good at something.
2958  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do we raise our kids in this kinda society on: July 22, 2021, 09:30:04 AM
Early childhood is the time when child care and growth needs to be taken care of the most. Children need to be taught discipline aesthetics tidying up not wasting what to do and what not to do everything he sees hears and understands is reflected in the next life selfishness or generosity these bad experiences have a strong effect on the growth of the brain at this time neglect or abuse complicates the child's intellectual behavior and emotions to gain knowledge and try to overcome bad experiences.

Discipline is a very important virtue that we all should try to teach our kids when they are young. Many employers are looking for hard working employees, so if we can prepare our kids when they are young it will benefit in the long run. Same goes for school, with discipline they can study better and get a better degree. Another important factor is independence in my opinion. We should try and make out kids think on their own.
2959  Other / Off-topic / Re: Back from the future on: July 22, 2021, 07:58:42 AM
If there's an electro magnetic wave that takes the whole world back in time to beginning of Bitcoin invention and other cryptocurrencies. Armed with the knowledge you have now as one who is back from the future, how much Bitcoin would you buy for a start, and what other cryptocurrencies would you invest in?

Which mistakes did you formerly make with bitcoin and cryptocurrency that you will not want repeating itself?

I would buy all the bitcoins I could get my hands on, the minimum I would be happy with would be 50,000 bitcoins. Also I would try to befriend Satoshi before he disappears. Tgr main coins I would be buying are BTC, ETH and Doge.

The question is if I can go back in time, can everybody? The price of bitcoin would never be cheap in the past.
2960  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Ladies reaction over jokes on: July 20, 2021, 03:52:30 PM
I couldn't believe the reaction rate of over reaction from a lady and his committee of friends. I keep on wandering if it is their nature or an art carried out vivily for self.

Is it their true nature to behave that way?

Yeah, I think so. The peer pressure among girls seems higher in my opinion. A girl will always laugh about jokes from their best friends, even if it is just fake. Men are much more direct and won't fake laugh. Atleast my friends are not doing it. So I always see if a joke was just funny in my head. To most of us this seems as overreacting.
