2961  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the Best Time to sell ? on: December 18, 2020, 05:59:09 AM
Now every one wants to buy Bitcoin definitely it will drop to some extent, so that more accumulation will start.
It's common nowadays that people buy bitcoin because of upward traction to the market which is not that wise because the profit you can get is not that big compared to when you bought it on the days that bitcoin is quiet and you might get into the time of price correction.

2962  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Non funded projects vs funded projects on: December 18, 2020, 03:36:01 AM
Project is depend on its developer not fund, bitcoin it self never get funded also Litecoin untill the coin has a value, but there is also funded project which become very successfull like AAVE ( it was ethlend ), another funded project but only small ammount ( ethereum ).
Devs are always the ones who we blame for what will the project become but crowdsale is also important. Having a crowdsale doesn't mean that projects are for the extra fund that will be used in the project but another purpose of it is to gain community traction and to gather community support to hold their project tokens. I know you can compare it to airdrop that gives a free tokens to the community for them to get the support of the community, but project investors put more value to the token they paid and this can make the project last a long time.
2963  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who are the 1% of traders who earn with trading? on: December 18, 2020, 03:09:03 AM
Is this only for the crypto market? I think 1% is too low, I really don't think that only 1% survives trading that earned a profit in the long run. I think those other than the 6.5% active traders are mostly traders who come and go when they see an opportunity and don't actively trade.

Can you provide us some context of this research results on how is this conducted, where does the resulting base, and what kind of platform does this research base?

2964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP dumped and BTC goes up, coincidence ? on: December 18, 2020, 01:45:16 AM
I have a theory, that some coins influence BTC price negatively,
In the past i felt that once XRP goes BULL, it stops BTC BULL
and now, i see once XRP was dumped after the airdrop, BTC went bull again

This is most likely what happens after the airdrop. People hold their XRP until the snapshot airdrop occurred and sells, and it is pretty expected that they would sell after the airdrop. I think that it is a coincidence that BTC went up and XRP goes down. Most of the bitcoin/altcoins
pair react the same thing when bitcoin goes up.
2965  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mobile wallet is more important on: December 17, 2020, 06:48:54 PM
Mobile wallet is just the best, easy to access and use anytime, I believe all project should work on developing a mobile app, so all cryptocurrency enthusiast can access it and make use of it at any time.
that is one of the factors but it does not guarantee that if a project has a platform on a smartphone it will be successful because at this time it is very easy to create a mobile phone platform because there are so many web app makers that you can make apps by drag and drop so you still have to select and analyze the project. which you will choose

the more features, the more vulnerable a system is. I don't deny that mobile wallets are very easy to use and more flexible, but the presence of the internet and the increasing number of hacking methods make mobile wallet owners insecure.

It is not recommended to store large amounts of assets in wallets that have many features such as mobile wallets. You can use some of the assets for spending needs to be stored in a mobile wallet.
Ofcourse changing platforms would have a separate kind of risk but mobile apps are more secured now than before. There are many established mobile wallets that are supporting ERC20 and ERC721 tokens, If the project token is supported by those established wallets, why not bother transferring it. I didn't have any issues regarding security in my non-custodial mobile wallets for a long time now.
2966  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinDragon.com - Provably the best crypto gambling in the world! on: December 17, 2020, 05:18:41 PM
How much it's SAT equal? that's mean for satoshi? I can't found clue SAT to helping me out more about your casino. Then It's (Max withdraw during beta : 400.000 SAT) that's 0.004BTC? How much the fee will be?

Could you give me more reasonable for T&C number 7.4. ?
Quote
We reserve the right to block / delay processing of withdrawal requests until requested copies of valid photographic identification, proof of address and/or credit/debit card or other documents are provided to our satisfaction (KYC).

SAT = satoshi

For the beta we'll have bet (stake) limit of 400KSAT and same for each withdrawal.
We'll increase these gradually.

7.4 is a standardized clause that in one form or another most operators have in their T&Cs meant for protection in case of suspicion of fraud.
All normal withdrawals are processed automatically and instantly.

Thank you for the hard work so far admin dragon is only for satisfying the players, but I want to mention a little about the minimum withdrawal limit, if possible, for the minimum withdrawal, don't just admin dragon, because not all players have a sufficient minimum withdrawal of 0.000123, for example like because I want to make a withdrawal I always play the games on this site but always lose so my sats is always 0 because I just want to quickly make withdrawals but can't because there is a limit to BTC SATS withdrawals, maybe it's just admin dragon, but that makes me happy on this coindragon site this site really pays me, I thank you for a big amount to the COINDRAGON admin and other staff ..
Maybe that's it, if there is a wrong word or offense, please forgive, Mr. admin😊

I think the owner/admin can't change that minimum withdrawal due to the possible abuse from their giveaways and withdrawals. This is a precaution of every casino so that they can't be abused and be flooded by new accounts that are sole purpose is to abuse the casino. I think below the minimum withdrawal isn't that worth to withdraw, I think it's better to play with it to reach the minimum amount.
2967  Economy / Gambling / Re: ❤️CRYPSINO💚 Blackjack 🃏 Poker 🃏 Keno ⭐ Dice 🎲 Wheel 🍀 Slots 🎰 Roulette on: December 17, 2020, 04:49:42 PM

It will be better if the owner can get a license to the site to prove that people can trust the site.
Understand please us, we are all 100% for it. Just license prices are out of space. And our earnings percentage is micro.

You realizes your earning percentage is micro and I believe you realizes what the reasons behind it but you do nothing.
You do not even try to resolve all the accusations against your site, so it is not surprising if you earn nothing as I believe you have no real players.
What you have is players who come to your site because of the free trial you offer for new users.

This is true, It feels that they don't really care for the trust of their gamblers and just hoping for someone who will try their casino. It is obvious that this thread is bumping almost every day because OP is posting their free trial promo every day and deleting it after a day. Licenses are sure expensive but it is logical to solve their accusation first more than anything to gather some traction to their casino.
2968  Economy / Gambling / Re: [WARNING] Bustabit phising site! DON'T google "bustabit" !!! on: December 17, 2020, 04:18:58 PM
D*mn, didn't really expect that it is a phishing site, I scrolled back to the image after reading the first sentence under it. Scammers is always taking advantage of the advertisement offered, I know this method exists for some time now but surely there is someone who will fall for traps like these. I hope that Google will improve its anti-phishing software so that this kind of method will not exist anymore.
2969  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the biggest issue for beginners ? on: December 17, 2020, 03:49:59 PM
The biggest issue for beginners on this forum is overwhelming amount of useful information. It's hard to decide where to start and where to look because it's impossible to read everything. I think that is the main reason why some questions are often repeated. There should be some organization and easier searching of the forum.

that is a general issue with forums
Most of us come here in the forum without knowing everything on crypto, There are many newbies that started here cluelessly and I know this forum helps them a lot to get the information they need. If you are a newbie it's better to explore some parts of the forum especially this board because this board consists of newbie questions and I'm sure that upon exploring there is something that you will decide to learn first and that is how your curiosity and knowledge will build up. It's true that there are many questions that is repeated over and over, But there are cases that the topic is the same but their scenarios are unique.
2970  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin touch 22000$. 🤑 what's Next? on: December 17, 2020, 02:20:07 PM
Bitcoin is now over 21k+ now we can ATH and its touch 22k+ What you think about btc next move?
it already reached to 23k at some point today and again turned back to $22700+ . next step of this year would be 25k in my opinion. I think $25,000 is easy target and Bitcoin will cross it in this year.  we'll see new massive highs and achievements of bitcoins next year.
in 2021 it may cross $30k.
Many of us really hope to reach the 25k price point before this year-end and I think it is possible knowing how bitcoin moves today. To be honest, I am not sure if this bull run will continue after this year, I might just play safe and just hodl my bitcoin belongings and sell some when chart sticks get out to my chart analysis.
2971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 16, 2020, 11:58:35 PM
Odds in bets can be one of your basis in betting but solely relying on odds then there is a problem with you already.

If it is sports betting, having a data analysis in their past performances might help you. If the 2 teams met each other in the past then their past performances when they fought each other will help you decide. Relying solely in the odds isn't a good choice. When I'm still betting especially in sports events, I don't rely only on odds but I see the teams too and make some data analysis. Yes there are some who are still losses but there are still times that I win.

I agree to the idea. Relying on the odd in betting is just the basic knowledge or strategy you may use in your betting experience yet you must definitely learn the other different ways or strategies that you may rely on. Betting is one of the gambling game that you need to have strategies because it doesn't have always the assurance of you will earn even if you are too old in the game. For me, I always think and put in my mind that gambling is a game of luck where you have a chance of 50-50 when playing. You must strategized not just into the game but for yourself. Self-control is the one you must need to improve so that you may not end up get addicted and continue to play even if you're loosing. But personally, I also look on the odds sometimes but I able to make progress to myself when betting and learn some other ways to rely on.
I think research is more than strategy in betting. It's true that you can do some strategy in betting in multiple bets and the odds don't really fall into 50-50 chance when you are making your research. You yourself can identify the odds of a certain team based on the research you are doing. Looking upon the odds that is shown isn't that bad to look at for, It is put up there to somehow guide you on your research and analysis on how did the odds makeup on to that point.
2972  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early signs of crime with bitcoin. on: December 16, 2020, 11:29:15 PM
No matter what the financial tool is, expect that there will always be bad guys tarnishing the reputation of established fronts for their personal gain. Anyway, I’m sure this will not deter genuine users of bitcoin from using and investing on it, as was the case for most of us here still invested and believing in bitcoin. More of these nefarious activities will be prevalent now that bitcoin is hitting the shelves, so it always helps to be vigilant to not be a victim of such.
Right, criminals is still criminals whatever the method or platform they are taking advantage of to perform their method. It just happened that bitcoin is the logical choice for the criminal to use when he does his money laundering act. Of course, the dignity of bitcoin will be reduced to those who saw the bad side of it but those who have trust in bitcoin and has knowledge of it know that the features of bitcoin are good compare to the traditional system.
2973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Gamblers! What is your excuse to avoid a game with 0% House Edge? on: December 16, 2020, 10:52:21 PM
I thought the same thing. Creating and maintaining a website costs money. They also need to pay money to employees. Therefore, a gambling site should earn money. If a zero casino advantage is set, then there is some other earnings that players are not told about. Personally, this fact would stop me from playing on this site.

Running one would really be having an expense. This kind of site doesnt really need employees to pay but you can only run for yourself which means
you dont need to spend up that much compared to those casinos which does have lots of games integrated to it but to think that this site
does still have a bit of expense like maintaining the site ex. domain and other things which really involves money and if you do make out
a business that isnt really gaining revenue or profit then you would definite pull off some funds into your pocket. So its really pointless
on running one if you arent really making money.
All websites do have an expense in existing and maintenance. If you are the one who built your own casino with just simple games, The cost of it will not really be expensive than a big casino, and this where you can apply that 0% house edge. There are also ways to have revenue like adding some fees on withdrawal on top of the transaction fee which is not that good for gamblers.

Even a 0% house edge casino is released, there won't be any guarantee that people will take part in it. There are some 0% house edge casino before that didn't survive the competition and burned out in the way by those low house edge casinos that are actively giving promotion to make people hear their casino. Gamblers would basically choose the casino that is giving the promotion than stick with a 0% house edge casino.
2974  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin finally reached $20k on: December 16, 2020, 10:26:56 PM
Bitcoin is now at a price of $ 21,000 which is almost close to my prediction by the end of this year it will hit a price of $ 22,000.
The increase in the price of Bitcoin past the resistance price of $ 20,000 is finally reached, this will make Bitcoin demand even higher.
And I am sure that the current increase in the price of Bitcoin will attract other big companies to invest in Bitcoin. If this happens
the Bitcoin price can continue to skyrocket.
Well, your prediction might get achieved. The price doesn't stop increasing last night and the price might reach $22k a few hours from now after some correction will happen. That's right that this might be the opening door for some people and companies to invest in bitcoin. The 20k mark posts are everywhere on my social media, This can make people trust bitcoin a little bit but this rally won't last long I think.
2975  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can 2FA be Hacked? on: December 15, 2020, 11:53:53 PM
Recently my Facebook Account was Hacked which was protected by 2FA. I was thinking that 2FA was very advance security. But I was Wrong. My Account was hacked and hacker change all my email and Phone Number. Has anyone faced same problem please reply in post. If someone has recovered hacked account please reply with information.
I believe that everything could be hacked even you have layers of security, Hackers have different methods of doing their thing and 2FA is not that much security for "god-like hackers". 2FA can improve your account security exponentially but there's some way to bypass it. You might be hacked physically by having the hacker access your security device and steal the necessary information there. If your device is stolen in real life it would basically give a great potential risk to your accounts. It would be better not to share any information with everyone especially if your account has good money in it and if you value your account so much, You could be a target just by sharing some info with someone.
2976  Economy / Gambling / Re: A BRAND NEW BITCOIN CASINO FOR ALL CRYPTOENTHUSIASTS! on: December 15, 2020, 11:10:17 PM
This would really be a big issue for those gamblers who do really give out important when it comes to anonymity or wont tend out to give personal details because if they
do really make it mandatory then this place is just like similar to those fiat online casinos that exist.

One of the biggest hindrance or factors on why some gambling sites online didnt really able to get players aside from shitty game offering but also with this KYC problem too.

If i were op then they should really be needing some changes when it comes to player verification yet this one will be messing up the business.
Anonimity is pretty important for some of the gamblers and this KYC requirement is the long problem of those newly built casinos because of the law. Having the KYC requirement on a new casino would make it pretty disadvantageous for them knowing that there is some existing casino offering the same games and features without having that KYC requirement and on top of that they are established ones.

2979  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 10, 2020, 11:01:41 PM
Hey folks,

I decided to quit smoking today and buy Bitcoin every Sunday. A pack of cigarettes I smoke is 8€. It cost me 56€ per week. So every Sunday, I will buy Bitcoin without checking if the price went up or down. Even if it goes to the moon, I will keep buying. I will edit this post frequently in the future. This Sunday I will start investing 56€ in Bitcoin every  Sunday. I will keep this doing as long as possible and let's see what is going to happen.

I believe that at least I will invest in something that I believe, instead of wasting money on unhealthy cigarettes. Maybe some of you can do the same.

Wish me luck Cool
Nice decision!!

I know it's hard to quit smoking all of a sudden but I think you can do it, You could also try to reduce the cigarette sticks per day to adjust your body to the lust for cigarettes. I myself quit from my vices back then and I'll be honest that it is one of the hardest days of my life. It's good that you made buying bitcoin a part of your motivation to quit your smoking habit.

I hope that this thread will be updated until the day you don't have the urge to smoke. I also hope you don't get thoughts of coming back in the middle of the process.
2980  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitamp Bitcoin Web Wallet - Send & Receive Bitcoin Instantly! on: December 10, 2020, 10:38:54 PM
I have suggestion for Bitamp team to be more active in social media platforms and maybe create youtube channel with some video, explanations and promotion.
That will help everyone including newbies and more people will hear about it.
Also add dark theme for Bitamp wallet.

I agree, I'm only seeing that they have only one social media account which is Twitter and it is not active today. Social media today is one of the best way to promote a product and there are good times to promote it as well. You can take advantage of the recent bitcoin bull run and promote the wallet into social media, I'm pretty sure that some strangers would develop a curiosity and could probably take the chance of using bitamp wallet.
