Shorting when there is blood in the streets..
The rothschilds would LLLLOVE you.
Shorting on a double bottom... OP you have balls of steel.
OP shorted when price was around 390$, so if he closed his short he has done well. If he hasn't... BTC could really jump to $600 in a matter of seconds... it probably won't but it could. Lke I said.. balls of steel. No it can't jump in a matter of seconds, to reach 600$ in the bullish scenario it would take several weeks. At a 4.5 billion market cap.. yes yes it could. Some people shit that.

Interested to see if anyone is still buying new mining rigs?
I decided that i'll stick with what I have as it seems like a waste hurling more money at it now. The difficulty is still increasing so I guess someone is.
I'd like to buy the U3.. but just as a toy I am the same as you. 2 S3's 3 S1's.

This is actually the first time I think shorting bitcoin is a low risk position to take.
All the bullish arguments for it to rise seem to be gone with the wind.
Shorting bitcoin... hum. With historic rises of 1000% in days.. I would never consider this idea. Each time "All the bullish arguments for it to rise seem to be gone with the wind." "bitcoin is dead" "why it's different this time and bitcoin is dead" "Bitcoin will never go over $100 again" Do you have the balls to short or just talking?

Market cap for BTC is 4 billion.
If people believe we cannont see $1k a coin again they should sell all the crypto they have.
Several people earn this a year.
During economic panic PM's skyrocket.... during the last one so did BTC.
If it's not going above $1k it's going below $10, 100%.

If any housing market on the planet pops..
Gold and bitcoin will hit the moon before you can open your trading account.

Has anyone undervolted their S1, if so how long has it been running undervoltated and how often do you have to re-apply the pencil mod.
Any one ballsy enough to put solder a resister onto it?
I soldered resistors on mine, it takes less than 5 minutes to do a unit. If you've got a proper iron and some experience, I'd recommend it over the pencil mod. What resistor did you use? Run it in parallel? Seems I want to go for 2.9k Ohm. If it's 4.47K ohm to get 2.9k Ohm, 1/2.9 = 1/4.47 + 1/x .3448 = .2237 + 1/x .1211 = 1/x x = 8.257K ohms. Or do you just replace the resistor?

I think that 50.000 Bitcoin can be sufficient to manipulate market price and make fall price down to 100$ and much other. This is one of the worst thing of bitcoin, power is in the hand of few people Let me get this straight you think $16,500 is enough to crash a $4 billion asset? Can I have the drugs you are using? Unless you ment 50 thousand BTC then I am wrong but you should use a comma.

There are many ways to protect yourself. I'd keep your coins offline in some way, but also only use a dedicated computer for your bitcoin transactions or like others have suggested use linux or ubuntu.
I do something like this but with a harddrive. The one has never been online.

At a market cap smaller than many peoples bank accounts... BTC has massive potential.
|
|
|
I recall they've said before that they've stored it on a USB so you're not getting at it if it's offline.
All bitcoins even when the private keys are stored offline are still in the blockchain. Your chances are 1 in 7.7 * 10^77 GOOD FING LUCK bud.
