It's weird how all people here are atheists Shocked no one is religous ir what I keep seeing them in other threads , feel free to post your opinions .
Also and as I said ... please I said without hurting however I see some people insulting

Is it really?  Agonist myself.

This forum is filled with people of a higher IQ.. The idea of a "god".. is pretty silly.  Most with the ability to use logic start to understand pretty much every organized religion only exists as a method of control.

I do find most people over 40 however have had the idea of some BS thing in the sky so drilled into their brain cognitive dissonance over comes their ability to reason.

Basilisk sent you here to recruit me, didn't it?

"KnCMiner Just Broke All World Records Running A New 3D Bitcoin Mining Chip At 16 Nanometer"

They claim 0.07W/GH interesting to see how other miners will react when deploying new mines.

0.07w might be at severe underclocking and at the chip level. In actual implementation its likely 0.15-0.4w/gh at the wall depending if you over/underclock

Even 100GH/s at .07w/GH is amazingly awesome.

LOL and the media keeps on pushing this idea that Men are some how in some massive plot to keep women out of tech jobs..

You can only bring a horse to water you cannot force it to drink.
2166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Airlines that accept Bitcoin as payment! on: June 03, 2015, 08:15:29 PM
I still think we need more accessible ways to safely store bitcoin and easily use it.

If it is faster to grab a creditcard than to use your bitcoin wallet, hardly anybody will use it.

Nevertheless, every company accepting bitcoin is one more that spreads te logo!

Agreed, the tap feature on my CC is very nice.

How do you make/redeem a physical Bitcoin?

Making a "physical bitcoin"

Run Bitcoin -QT

Go to the console (youtube this)

Dump the private keys (youtube this)

Print the private keys to a peice of paper, make it easy by adding a QR code.

"Redeeming" a physical bitcoin.

Run Bitcoin -QT
Go to the console

Import private keys (youtube this)

Shouldn't be more than 5 mintues of youtube. I forget the commands of the top of my head.  I have them written down, although I am sure someone could just edit this and fill them in for you.

Wildly violent..

They are like the Christans from the 1400's...

Religion is a bane on this planet.
2169  Economy / Economics / Re: Smoking gun of the world system? on: June 03, 2015, 07:28:38 PM
Well, I don't like all such conspiracy theories. There is no world coalition who rules the world. I would not say, that there isn't a group who tries to reach it, but the world is so complex and it needs so many actors that it is not possible.

Im no theory conspiration guy myself, but as someone pointed out, 12 families own most of the wealth in this world which is insane. Sure, Bitcoin is distributed in a similar fashion, couple guys im sure that own shittons of BTC, but the edge on fiat is, the BTC system cannot be modified, while they can create money out of thin air. The Bitcoin whales will never be able to modify the supply at their expense.

If anything, they could easily buy the entire bitcoin supply.

And they still would be okay, if the bitcoin failed on them. they own like more then 1 monopolies. They even named roads after them..

No.... they easily could not..

This is why Bitcoin is so amazing.  This if the first thing the 1% of the 1% have not had an Iron grip on for thousands of years.  YES THOUSANDS...

They do have a grip on it however and it is strenghtening.

2171  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bitcoin mining and your electrical outlets on: June 03, 2015, 06:21:09 PM
If your power isn't very good, I recommend buying a UPS.  It will protect your power supply during brown outs and spikes.  Also it will keep your miner running during very short power blips.

I had two power supplies blow.. my computer would keep restarting as I get like 10-20 brown outs a day.. UPS = golden fix.  Gotta keep that power smooth!!!
On miners and UPS's... Miners do NOT like yer normal PC stand-by UPS's. Been there, tried that with several different makes. Even with a miners PSU at 1/2 load every one I tried caused the miner to hang when they switch or adjusted the voltage. Reason is the relay switch transfer time which for most UPS's is spec'd at <10ms. That blip is long enough to often cause a big enough dip in the 12v output to lockup the controller. Sad

If you are going to uses a UPS is MUST be what is called a on-line UPS. Less efficient as they are always 'on' changing AC>DC>AC but there is zero transfer time. For several of my S4's and S2's I use http://www.cyberpowersystems.com/products/ups-systems/smart-app-ups/paragon-series/ol2200rtxl2u.html Pricey? Yes. However, are rock-solid.

btw, the s2's & 4's are the only ones on UPS's. When spiked (well, dipped really) they can be (are) the most susceptible to the sd card getting munged.. S3's and s5's just hang so the majority of the farm is not on UPS's. Waayyy too expensive to do that.

Very solid point, it has to use transistors or the switching time is just WAY to long.

I needed one for my computer lol.  It kept kicking it and the miner offline so I got two, one for the comp one for the miner. It's an S3.
2172  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: "New R box" from Rock miner. on: June 03, 2015, 06:18:16 PM
I was handed a bunch of these busted and I fixed most of 'em but they're just sitting on the shelf. They're decent little units, and you're right it's an excellent size/volume/power-draw for hobby desk miners.

NICE!! I have been using mine to mine/secure my fav alt coin for some time.  Unit has done exactly as stated.
2173  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: "New R box" from Rock miner. on: June 03, 2015, 06:16:50 PM
You shouldn't call them efficient, but they are a fun hobby miner.

You're right, I should say low power draw.  Correcting.
2174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: [NSFW] What do you guys think about this.. on: June 03, 2015, 05:51:28 PM
she tried to trip him over and got what she deserved, if it wasnt a woman none of you would bat an eyelid

Exactly. Normally I don't side with the cops, but in this case, the cop is not to be blamed. As someone rightly pointed out, the kick seems to be an instantaneous reflex. Also, just think what would have happened if the cop was a female and the arrested person was a male. As saddampbuh posted here, none of us would have sided with the male.

You have no idea if he was making fun of her for like 20 mintues straight and then she decided to kick him.

I don't think anyone should be kicked in the face for kicking someone in the shins without shoes while sitting down..  Cops are just highschool thugs that jumped onto the legal thug train.

Cop is 100% to blame that is a complete over use of force.
2175  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: They're mining with light bulbs now. What's next? on: June 03, 2015, 05:04:28 PM
Lightbulb is a neat idea.   I really like it and want one to play around with.   Just would be a fun project.

I think space heaters make a lot of sense.  They could easily do anything with heat.    Or maybe a fun USB one that uses sun to get power stores it and allows a usb to mine all day with no electricity that would be neat.

The antminer S1 is the perfect space heater lol!!  Really though.

I am actually a heavy owner of silver.  I have gold but my PM holdins silver is the largets amount.

I have highly considered withdrawing a couple k and putting it in a saftey box or just in my house.
2177  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: KnC new toys on: June 03, 2015, 03:59:13 PM
Right now, KnC is in a lot of legal turmoil... they will likely waste a lot of their budget on defense.
If not, they will go the way of Butterfly Labs...
I would be more ready to bet on KnC's closure than releasing a new chip any time soon, let alone half the process of what is readily available.
They've got a mad stance against home mining so I wouldn't put my hopes up on them releasing a home miner.
They were selling Uranus 3Th.s or whatever for a few $100 bills and no one were buying them even at that price.

KnC's a shill, a shady outfit, I wouldn't put my money on them... never did, never likely will either.

Bitmain & Spondoolies FTW

Rockminer!!!!!  You guys should try out some of rockminer stuff.  Both of their R-boxs have worked perfectly for me.  The "new r-box" I have had running with no issue for over 6 months.
2178  Economy / Economics / Re: What to buy.. what to buy.. on: June 03, 2015, 03:57:59 PM
Gold & Bitcoin would be my no.1 choice if I was buying, also Land, where I am the cost of land gets almost doubled in an year or 2. But it really depends on what budget you have.

Land.. now that is a pretty good plan..  Lots of insanely cheap land in parts of my country.. HUM..

I might just do this. I like this plan.

2180  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: bitcoin mining and your electrical outlets on: June 03, 2015, 03:52:31 PM
Most outlets are wired in series, main wires come in to one outlet, then go back up the wall & over to the next outlet.
Sometimes as many as 4 outlets on a single line.
......

I believe they are in parallel, not series.

Quite parallel, but they can be daisy-chained .. with a load at the end socket and improper contacts in-between, all sockets will go hot.

.. kind of what you see here:

One reason to do maintenance at least once a year.

You are paralleling them when you are "Daisy-chaining" them.  It's paralleling not daisy-chaining for the technical term.. lol.  It's really the same thing.

HOWEVER, I highly highly higly recommend NEVER EVER EVER EVER doing what that picture shows, ever ever ever. EVER! NEVER DO THAT EVER.
