2201  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falllling is right again, Bitcoin will continue the downtrend on: June 02, 2015, 02:05:21 PM
Fair enough, hence why this is the speculation thread one might just say.
2202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who purchased at $1000 on: June 02, 2015, 02:00:31 PM
What are you thinking about now? I would hate to be in your shoes at least when I purchased my share in Bitcoin they were below the current price but I do regret not selling at least 25% at $1000 now.

yep, that's the most frustrating part. when you look back at the 1000$ price.

There is a pretty decent possibility that BTC passes the 1k mark again and never goes below 4 digits again.  Once the house of cards starts to come down... PM's will reach those insane levels people were preaching about.
2203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Falllling is right again, Bitcoin will continue the downtrend on: June 02, 2015, 01:11:43 PM
under 200$ are coming Shocked

For like 10 mintues? Possible.

For longer than a week, highly highly doubtful.
2204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Those who purchased at $1000 on: June 02, 2015, 12:54:35 PM
Paper gains and losses are imaginary until you sell.
2205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brain Wallet hacked, suspect bitcoin talk hackers. on: June 02, 2015, 12:50:27 PM
I don't think we need to rip on the OP anymore.  He has shared with us a good tale of why going to extreme lenghts to protect your wealth is a wise idea.

2207  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Banker jumps to his death from luxury apartment on: May 29, 2015, 05:22:47 PM
What a waste of life... at just 29 years... He hailed from a wealthy family, and had created millions of USD worth of wealth for himself... lived in a multi-million dollar apartment... but probably became overconfident about his abilities and did some risky trades, which went bad. Normally I hate these investment bankers.... but in this incident I feel bad for him.

The guilt of screwing over millions of people gets to some people.
2208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Brain Wallet hacked, suspect bitcoin talk hackers. on: May 29, 2015, 04:00:14 PM
If your passphrase has EVER.. EVEN ONCE been typed into the web.

YOU SHOULD CONSIDER YOUR BITCOINS OUT OF YOUR CONTROL...

The same password as your bitcoin talk... you knew it got hacked and didn't act..?!?!?!?!?
2209  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is bitcoin so stable now? on: May 29, 2015, 03:15:52 PM
Big hands are getting in, and big hands want a big piece of the pie. How to solve this without generating a ridiculous rally too soon? Keep the price low for a long time, make weak hands shake, and keep storing cheap BTC. We'll have at least 1+ year of a low price while whales stuck up on 21th century gold.

^^^^^^

At one point this exact discussion went on about gold..

Do my cents from way back work on this current chain?
2211  Other / Off-topic / Re: Extremely Hard Maths Problem (Grade 10) Help! on: May 29, 2015, 12:09:31 PM
*Edit* Oh.. what bearing... and who the hell is Rita...
Yeah lol, it was just a joke.  Grin

Anyway, I got the answer right.

You need to find the height and width of the two triangles and subtract one from the other. Then you have 1 small triangle and then you can find the bearing.

There have been some very intesresting test I have taken.

The one test it askes you to read the entire test first.. the very last question says do not answer any questions to get perfect Wink

You can't get the right answer there is no Rita Tongue

Heat waves disproportionately impact people who are poor, elderly, children, or have asthma or heart disease.
This is warning for us, we must more concern about " Global Warming ".
Global warming is one of the gravest health emergencies facing humanity, it's life threatening and it's affecting us now.

Just like the cod fishing industrys in the 80s no one will listen ot the experts.. no one.  No one wants to hear they can't drive massive cars, have to pay more for power etc.

It takes a minimum IQ to understand you can't just stick your head in the sand and it will be ok.  Alas that IQ level is probably the top 70 percentile.  Look at the shit people believe.. the insane religions out there only a full blown moron would believe yet millions follow them..

I would gander there is a VERY good reason people have taken up a claim of antiartica... Most of the time that earth has been around that has been the best spot to live...
2213  Other / Off-topic / Re: Extremely Hard Maths Problem (Grade 10) Help! on: May 28, 2015, 07:29:03 PM
The first question...

A) it's cut of she travles 80.. 800. 800 km?

B) as for time it cannot be determined you do not know the speed

SEcond question is bird as you can us pythagorean theorem, 220-130 = 90

Thus x^2 = 400^2 + 400^2

x^2 = 320 000

x = 565.69 KM.

or if you want to get crazy..

Tan x = 400/400

Inverse tan = 45 degrees.

Sin 45 = 400/x

.707 = 400/x

x = 565.7 KM

*Edit* Oh.. what bearing... and who the hell is Rita...
2214  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War is brewing in the south sea... on: May 28, 2015, 06:23:40 PM
You have to consider that China is basically subsidizing USA debt by purchasing government bonds by the boatload.  Neither side wants war.  China wants to collect the interest on the bonds and the USA wants them to keep subsidizing its ridiculous spending habits.

The Americans have been fooling the Chinese for many decades now, and the latter is slowly realizing about what is actually happening. The American strategy is very simple. They will sell their debt to "rich" nations such as China. Then the Americans will devalue their currency, by printing tons and tons of banknotes. Effectively, the Americans are reducing their net debt at the cost of the Chinese.

The BRICs have been hording up gold.....

No one really agreed to leaving the gold standard..

If Amercia has to prove it has it's gold...
2215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is just to complicated for the average person to use.. on: May 28, 2015, 05:53:54 PM
The internet is also just to complicated for the average person to use. Which is why the internet never really caught on.
 Wink

but but but but but but.. that's exactly what my first post says....

Currently BTC IS currently to complicated for the average person that doesn't understand how to make a .txt file.  There is a key word in that sentence.
2216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else selling their bags yet? on: May 28, 2015, 05:51:30 PM
People is realizing most alts are unnecessary.

Most people have not even a idea what bitcoin is... of course they don't know that some alts may jump like bitcoin did.

When the joke of negative interest rates fail.. MANY people will know what Bitcoin is..
2217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else selling their bags yet? on: May 28, 2015, 05:27:34 PM
Wait, are bags an actual altcoin or are you just referring to altcoins collectively as 'baggage'. I can't keep up with all the latest crapcoins and I dumped all my altcoin baggage about a year ago and didn't look back.

I assume the OP means all coins are worth nothing will go to zero so are we going to sell our bags of BTC, etc yet.
2218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.S. Government Mining Bitcoins on: May 28, 2015, 03:04:00 PM
Can't the US government just dedicate one money printing machine to making USD to only trade for bitcoin? Seems easier for the US government to do that.

To difficult as applied.. Just steal a bunch monthly from one of your serfs.
2219  Other / Politics & Society / War is brewing in the south sea... on: May 28, 2015, 02:45:40 PM
Think there is any threat of a direct attack against North America?

Also what asset class would one hold during war?
2220  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Market Is Stalling - BTC Users Looks Like Small Group Of Favourite Beer Fans on: May 28, 2015, 02:44:44 PM
Bitcoin will have its fan club for some time. It will be like a collector's item. But it will never be a common means for payment. This is due to the limited supply.

We'll see what happens with that when war starts in the south seas..
