2281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an actual Bitcoin bank yet? on: May 19, 2015, 12:50:36 PM
I haven't really kept up with what's going on in the banking side of the Bitcoin ecosystem, but I was talking with an acquaintance about Bitcoin and he mentioned something about an actual Bitcoin bank. A quick search yields results that are all over the place, so I'm turning to the members of this forum to see if anybody has any info. Does anybody offer an insured solution for storing coins that pays interest? The closest thing I can think of is Circle, but I don't think they pay interest. Any insight would be much appreciated.

How many bitcoiners do you think would want to be involved with a bank...

IS this against western people or fatties...?
2283  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shocking parallels between smartphone growth & bitcoin: Special Pegasus Report on: May 13, 2015, 05:34:33 PM
All these trends saying BTC can't do this all were DECIMATED when it jumped to 1200.. One black swan.. GG all of those trends.
2284  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop From $249 on: May 13, 2015, 03:56:28 PM
It's been between $200 and $250 for most of this year. Excursions outside that range were brief. Activity within that range is mostly noise.

2013 - Wow!
2014 - Aargh!
2015 - Meh.

I forsee..

2016 - meh
2017 - meh
2018/2019 - HOLY SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHIT how could of any thought BTC would go to zero.
2285  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to rally to $50+ on: May 13, 2015, 01:51:58 PM
LOL, no wonder his panties are in a bunch.   Selling out at $10 that's hilarious.

OUCH, this is why I won't sell for a small profit... Why jump into a high risk game for a 50% gain.. go buy bonds.
2286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin Fork? on: May 12, 2015, 06:30:24 PM
The fork will cause more problem than the current block size limite of 1 MB, what do you think? I a one of the users that is supporting the decentralization, and if this improvement will be make by the core dev I will not update bitcoin core (this is why I love decentralization).
This could be the death of bitcoin.  Half the exchanges adopt it... half don't.. most people in BTC have no clue what's going on and panic sell.. THE BIG ONE.. the gov steps in because peoples coins are rejected on the other network..they claim it as some scheme and start a world regulation program to take over control.. Arrested for mining non approved block chains.. oh the future is not bright.
2287  Economy / Economics / Re: What would a bitcoin collapse look like? on: May 12, 2015, 06:27:49 PM
A popular fork is created.. half the exchanges move to it.. half don't.. most people don't get what's going on panic sell.. BTC and BTC2 collapse into the darkness.
2288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin Fork? on: May 12, 2015, 06:23:53 PM
The creation of Gavincoin hoping everyone will ditch Bitcoin for gavincoin..

It will be interesting.
Again, why in planet hell are you supporting 1MB over 20MB? Do you literally want Bitcoin to remain a small niche for nerds that will collapse soon as it goes mainstream? whats the catch?

I for see this as the kinfe that kills BTC and allows another coin to rise as champion.  IF we are willing to change BTC then it's "hard" cap does not exist.

As I have said before, BTC should be use as a store of wealth NOT a spending currency.

Something like peercoin should be used for that.  I only forsee bad things hard forking bitcoin.
2289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gambling on: May 12, 2015, 04:47:06 PM
What % of people are into bitcoin/alternate coins because of gambling?  Is it higher or lower than illegal goods?

Other than that, the rest of the people must be either trading/speculating or doing logistical stuff in the world of crypto's.

This sounds about right. I'd say most people that "use" bitcoin use it to buy drugs online, the rest are speculators/gamblers. Thanks Satoshi. lol

HOW DARE anyone create something where I can store my enitre lifes wealth and move it any where on the planet with out the pigs taking it all, HOW DARE THEY.
2290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gambling on: May 12, 2015, 04:45:51 PM
I was playing poker with dogecoin but the site was soo obviously rigged..

Buddy took out 8 people with him having the perfect hand and the other having the second possible best..

That shit just does not happen in 30 minutes 8 times.   Be very careful where you play, a lot of people rig their shit.

Not a Communist, but since 1974, this looked like the 1st time, regular people wld have representation. Then the old boys explain to the new boys, they have no choice but to go along because it is their job to SAVE THE WORLD. The old boys will continue to do what they do best: DENY, DELUDE & DELAY. Meanwhile GR will continue to sink into an abyss.
You don't need to be a communist with taxing on the mega rich, it's just common sense. If someone has 500 million his bank account, his life quality is going to be exactly with same with 400, or even with 250. It's a joke that you are condemned to wageslaving while they could help a lot into making lifes less stressed without noticing any stress themselves.

They will just go else where.  The idea you can just raise the taxes on the rich and make money from them is amusing.
2293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The coin who is supposed to take on Bitcoin..... on: May 11, 2015, 08:03:58 PM
Just like the liberty dollar. MERCIA does not allow freedom on this planet, they will come and steal ALL of their gold making the coin worthless.

The idea of backing a crypto with something is a fools errand.  It is not possible America will have non of it.
2294  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Denarium Launches The Next Generation Physical Bitcoin on: May 11, 2015, 03:21:02 PM
Humm, how goes this project?

Any guesses on how much shipping to Canada would be?  These seem like very well priced items. I have wanted a few of these just for fun.
2295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What real world situation have you had problems due to 10 minute confirmation? on: May 11, 2015, 01:55:07 PM
Inconvenienced sure.. I had to wait 10 mintues to use what I bought.. a problem lol no.

Although TBH it might of taken me 10+ mintues to fill all the crap out I would of needed to fill out if it was a Visa purchase.

2297  Economy / Speculation / Re: $245.. on: May 08, 2015, 06:52:49 PM
it's better to wait before shouting upward, it may be a fake raise, a trap, the usual dead bounce, also last week we touched this exact same value, then we fell to 228-230...

It has been some time since our last bottom of ~160..

It did not touch 240 last week.

Over the past year and a half it seemed to never really hold stead.. just spike and a constant drop.. spike drop spike drop spike drop..

now we are no real spike.. no constant dropping...

Just making observations I don't know much about all this technical analysis just looking at patterns.
2298  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you pretend to care? on: May 08, 2015, 06:19:10 PM

I am on a mission to help the super computer come to be and take over the planet.
2299  Economy / Speculation / Re: $245.. on: May 08, 2015, 05:02:16 PM
It just went up to 246 I'm starting a new thread..
