you guys are pretty full of shit acting like there is support and resistance here

Where did that ask wall at around 272 on bitstamp go? was it bought? no it was dropped because we go wherever the market makers want us to go.

Shorts just shy of 19k on finex. Nothing organic about that selling..

You realize $4m of longs, or 16k BTC went long in the past few weeks? Yet 4k new shorts today, after 10k closed in the last few weeks, is inorganic? Get a grip
306  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 04, 2015, 12:00:17 AM
Likely unsustainable. I wouldn't bet on this going anywhere but down in short term (1week)

serious business we have got here

I worded it clearly because more rising more within an extremely short period of time was not impossible, or even unlikely, with a market this irrational. Hence, 1 week. If I said the price would be higher next January and it fell to $100 in November, but up to $400 in January, that wouldn't really matter, would it?

Also, obviously, orderbooks are subject to change quickly. However, they usually predict well. Right now they are terribly bearish. Could it be insanely bullish in 10 minutes? Or a day? Maybe.. but, right now, its not.. and it probably won't do anything like that.
307  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 03, 2015, 11:51:39 PM
Orderbooks are screaming down... Probably $250 at the "most".
308  Economy / Speculation / Re: This a good time to buy? on: March 03, 2015, 11:44:51 PM
Wait for a drop. There are going to be some good corrections, its still too early to go on a big rally.
+1

I noticed this before on the orderbook

Anyone else finds that weird?

I would think that would be a bot carving up some coins. Or are you thinking of something else?

Well, the 237.47 order is mine so I just thought it was a strange coinicidence. Or somebody is trolling me Grin

I wouldn't care about it if it wasn't for the strange incident that happend yesterday night. Also, what kinda makes it more suspicious is that it struggled to go above $237.46 for a solid hour
Bahaha! I did this sort of stuff when I actively traded too. Endlessly one-upping peoples orders when you could tell they were human.

Sell 237.56

Im really cautious right now lol.

My last trades have been really stupid and missed all the lows/highs. Probably gonna do the same now but its better than losing trades.
315  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Trading Simulator] A fun & free Speculation Game - 67 participants on: February 15, 2015, 11:25:52 PM

Aww Sad We were getting to the point where if Tzupy bought; you would be wondering why wasnt I doing that?
that would be pretty much cheating lol

I'm usually sleeping during the action lol. Right around 2AM CST seems to be the big movement time..

Not a big deal, but limit orders would be nice. Why do you think they are cheating (I don't mean to play semantics; I know what you mean). My first thought was that I agreed. Not sure why though. Whats the inherent advantage?
317  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 15, 2015, 08:12:25 PM
