301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Give reasons why ETH is better than BSC on: April 29, 2021, 02:12:38 PM
I believe that ETH will reclaim it's glory back once gas fee issue is solved, there is also a big difference between BSC and ETH that will still make many prefers ETH, that's the fact that BSC is Centralized and ETH isn't.
Yeah. Decentralisation is the difference of the two. Another one is that most projects are into ETH long before BSC. BSC's growth is due to ETH network fee which is far more expensive than BSC.

"The Dogefather
SNL May 8"

Really? When we were first using Dogecoin in 2013 this guy had no idea about it and now he calls himself the Dogefather just because he is rich and bought tons? It's all market manipulation folks, wake up! The only Dogefather is Jackson Palmer the guy who created the coin.

With his "smart" tweets he controls the price and newbies are falling into this trap! I don't know about you but I'm very disappointed. He's probably using Dogecoin to increase his BTC capital.

Remember, 98 addresses control > 67% of all Dogecoins. Dogecoin has become what it is, a joke coin.
Totally agree with you. His manipulation are making someone's rich and most poor. I have doubts on what he's into but one things for sure, his fame got newbies into Doge and these newbies are hoping for a 1$ value of Doge.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: April 29, 2021, 01:57:09 PM
I like to share my story being a crypto enthusiast, a trader and an investor at the same time.

I started in this forum in year 2015 when altcoins are still a good investment and Binance is still not the most popular exchange in the market.
I trade with Poloniex most of the time, sometimes I trade with Bittrex but then I realize that I am not so profitable with trading since I cannot focus on it due to the reason that i have a day job to prioritize.

Therefore, I started to invest for long term and I was entice by how the market moves and I was so optimistic that long term could really change my life.
So to make the story short, I invested with different altcoins and have help it until now.

Now, when the bull run comes, I still couldn't sell right away as I was getting greedy thinking I could earn more when I still hold.
of course, who would not HODL when all your friends in the group chat are also doing the same, even if the price rise high already, they are still saying HODL, and I really do it, and just sell a small portion of my investment to reward myself temporarily was I was into a big goal with my remaining investment.

And then, the correction comes started in year 2018, and I still didn't panic, continue to hold and even accumulate a bit when I see price has really dump a lot, just imagine ETH drop 10 times, so its really cheap and really tempting for any investors. So here I am now, I am still holding at a big loss but at the same time I am still hopeful one day my dreams will come into reality.

So top 10 of my portfolio consist of the following based on my blockfolio.

1) Atlant
2) Edgeless
3) Centra
4) Humaniq
5) Matchpool
6) Lunyr
7) KIN
8.) FUEL
9) SONM
10)NPXS

Please tell me if I should still expect I will be profitable or just give up now already.
Bump! Are you still on loss? I hope you got the pump from npxs and gain more with over 100+% gain. But if you forgot that coin, I believe SONM is on its move again. But some in this portfolio is really some shitcoins.
304  Economy / Economics / Re: Are some too blind to see? on: April 29, 2021, 01:40:43 PM
Not all have the extra resources to invest in and hold for years. They would rather buy foods first and prioritize their needs rather than go to investing. Some dont even know Bitcoin. Many external reasons are also present so don't judge those who have no interest and don't call them stupid. You're just lucky you have food in your table, clothes to wear with shoes to wear. Others dont have that.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for good projects on: April 29, 2021, 01:34:55 PM
Try SOV. Read first their blackpaper before you go in. I'll give you goo insights. SOVRYN having its native coin SOV base on Bitcoin, offers you big returns specially that they are just starting with just a 100M+ marketcap. This is the first DeFi on Bitcoin.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: April 29, 2021, 09:12:40 AM
I don't know, but musk has a big impact on the doge pump. without him maybe the doge will only be seen as a meme coin. and if there is no him, the doge can still rise but not as high as when he supports him. as you said doge is a special coin and no other cheap coin can follow doge.
The momentum created by Elon made the Dogecoin market stronger and more adoption from the market.
what is done is not related to the function of Dogecoin. but we can see how much of the crypto community is also following what Elon is doing.
I hope Dogecoin gets better not only because of the memes Elon created. but has clear functionality for future market developments.
Yeah and people are trusting this coin has value that's why its rising exponentially. Elon is the one responsible for giving this coin a chance to have that kind of market cap which is insanely good.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: April 29, 2021, 08:38:24 AM

Not only poor countries but also economic powers are also severely affected by the epidemic. America is an example, I didn't know you noticed when the epidemic affected their employment so much. I am also really scared that if this situation goes long and there is no solution, it will lead to even worse consequences.
The world got to complacent just because we didn't experience wars, they become loose in terms of handling extreme events. You are right, economic power did suffer because we weren't prepared, after all of this pandemic is over, I hope that we will learn from it and never have this kind of thing happen again because we can't go against another pandemic.
They were prepared but it seems like their people out there were not too disciplined. In US for example, they even fight for their rights to NOT to wear a mask in public due to uncomfortable feeling. Other is that their government was slow. Slow in terms of implementing lockdowns and efficiently conduct one unlike China where they really impose lockdowns using brute force but with support of course.
308  Economy / Economics / Re: World risk - global on: April 29, 2021, 08:34:20 AM
Now, where would you place the risk of a bitcoin hack o network problem in your finances and in the world finances?
I'd place it next to weapon of mass destruction. It'll stop the world for sure specially if a major hack would happen on major stock exchanges or even in Bitcoin, fortunately it wont happen due to the fact that its secure unlike any other centralized currencies.
309  Economy / Economics / Re: China to overtake the Us as the largest global economy by 2028? on: April 27, 2021, 11:55:21 AM
And by that, these 3rd World Countries are slowly selling off their country. I saw this conspiracy theory where China is slowly invading the world by lending or even by having a transaction with them. However, United States is not doing great these days due to the fact that their citizens have too much democracy and that makes their country slowly falling apart.
Not conspiracy but strategy in terms of economical expansions. China's desire to reach the top is slowly showing great success.

Sooner or later we will notice that this competitions between this two giant will come face to face, the pride of US might be there  but it will hard
now for them to show their supremacy as China really made it well and expand their capabilities.

Seems that not just economic but also in terms of military they are challenging US in the case of South China Sea.

And when that day comes, I believe that most humans will not survive. Bombs will probably be our breakfasts and nuclears reactions are our snacks. I feel bad for us 3rd country who have nothing else to do but to fight this giant China barehandedly or with swords. lol.
310  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy after COVID-19 on: April 27, 2021, 11:51:11 AM
Right now the pandemic is not showing any signs of a slowdown. Especially in regions such as the United States and the European Union, the number of new infections are rising. First the pandemic needs to be contained. Only after that, we can plan about any sort of economic recovery. Trends are looking bad, as the winter season is peaking in the northern hemisphere.
It will be reduced after the distribution of the vaccine, and it's going to happen on the second of the year, once the first wave of distribution of vaccine occur the percentage could drop to 50% we will build a herd immunity right away even if only 20% of the world's population is vaccinated, there is a study that vaccination could last for two years until everybody is vaccinated.
I don't think everyone wants to be vaccinated so obviously the second wave will definitely take longer, and it is more serious that 2021 is the start of vaccine distribution and starting this injection which will maintain our immunity so the process may run 20% accordingly the percentage where the world's population needs advice on how to deal with vaccines with confidence.
And the most important thing for me is that our immune system can and does not need to be vaccinated.
question is for how long vaccine will protect our immune sistem, and how will it take. when will look on both sides its not good at all
The fact that these vaccines are made to protect you to have that severe symptoms, it is quite good to have one. It doesn't protect you to have the COVID anymore but it'll save you from certain death. If you don't want to have vaccines just because that you are not certain for its efficacy, then probably think twice. Protect your children by injecting one, your grandma whose immune systems are weak anymore, your friends who have a immuno deficiency problems. Thou shall not doubt the science who could help us have the freedom we would have if we all care for all around us.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchange tokens all the way on: April 27, 2021, 11:44:17 AM
Yeah and more are coming I guess. Started by Binance and now many are having the same prospect and for me the best are those having a decentralized exchange tokens which is far more great than CEX. Try SOVRYN platform which is also a DEX having a DeFi for Bitcoin, the first in its kind and in its early age.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Uniswap (UNI) good for investment? on: April 27, 2021, 11:36:19 AM
As Ethereums number 1 decentralized trading app for ETH assets, I believe UNISWAP has a good chance of succeeding and in my own opinion, its becoming to be one of the best out there. Give it time and probably it could reach its full potential in a couple of years or so.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If Musk doesn't tweet Dogecoin, can it still soar? on: April 27, 2021, 11:24:44 AM
Nope it wouldn't. I believe that Mr. Elon just hyped this coin up and many are expecting that DOGE coin would go up to 1$. Elon's tweets probably got the attention of many whales out there and trying to manipulate the market as how others are currently doing.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 27, 2021, 11:20:19 AM
maybe the BSC effect will decrease when the ETH fee decreases. so I don't think the BSC trend will last long at the top, ETH will still be one of the BSC rivals in crypto platforms
when more and more people feel cheated by the new BSC project that looks pumping then they disappear. then it's time for the BSC to take a break.
And as you said, the adoption of new projects may come back to ethereum as transaction costs have started to decline. it is not as good as the BSC, but you can see for yourself how ethereum tries to protect the interests of its traders.
I dont know how did you say that BSC projects are far more susceptible to scam. They aren't and in fact if the project launch in Binance, they could recover all the money just like what they did before with the exit scam happened there. BSC network is far more superior as of now in compare with Ethereum due to the fact that ETH's fee is quite too high GWEI. Furthermore, as scam are compared to two networks, I believe there are countless scams happened to ETH network.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: April 26, 2021, 02:26:23 PM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.
This is really a bad approach to start investing on cryptocurrency. If you would made small mistake because of our choice, then who would you blame?

I would rather enroll a job for better income instead of gambling your money because lack of knowledge. Your dad will appreciate you more if they see you work really hard when looking for a job.
it's very bold speculation from the OP. with no experience in the crypto market he is willing to put the money he has to develop. but I'm sure it won't last long. because most of the new people like OP will easily panic seeing their investment assets decline rapidly.
your advice is true, they should use the money he has to live or find a more decent job.
When he has obtained financial freedom, he can enter with money that is free of his daily needs. it will be better.
I believe what he needs is to have more knowledge on investing on crypto and we having much more experience, we should guide those new to these space. In my own opinion, OP can't find a job due to pandemic but he has these extra cash that's why he's asking.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: China to overtake the Us as the largest global economy by 2028? on: April 26, 2021, 02:23:03 PM
No doubt they would. They are invading other countries natural resources, they sell original as well as fake products, all kind of shits are already there and they are selling it to the world. Who could fight that kind of strong manpower unless sanctions are applied due to their greediness, no country could match their economic growth.

China is a country of 1.4 billion people and no other country can compete with them in terms of raw manpower. And also, China is not a country which is sinking in federal debt (unlike the case with the United States and most of the European countries). This means that they have the resources to make investments in other countries. Obviously for the third world nations in Africa and South Asia, the funds offered by China looks like a very attractive option.
And by that, these 3rd World Countries are slowly selling off their country. I saw this conspiracy theory where China is slowly invading the world by lending or even by having a transaction with them. However, United States is not doing great these days due to the fact that their citizens have too much democracy and that makes their country slowly falling apart.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH and BSC on: April 26, 2021, 02:15:23 PM
And despite all the obvious problems with Efir, with his huge commissions on the network, today he again updated the ATH. For me, this is an incredibly amazing result. Although, to a large extent, this can all be due to the fall in the price of Bitcoin. And BTC holders are pouring their funds into assets that are still growing. But alas, it may not last long.
The benchmark for resilience is whether or not the price of Bitcoin is high, because the decline in the price of Bitcoin will always affect other tokens in the market, and this has been found very often by everyone, even now we can all see when Bitcoin was corrected, so others also followed.
You are partly right - after the Bitcoin correction, the entire market goes to the correction as well. But many investors at this time do not withdraw their funds directly to the USD, but pour them into such coins as Ethereum. This is what we see now. In the short term, Ethereum will hold its high position. But if Bitcoin continues to fall, Ether will not be able to resist.
There are no connection with the fall of neither one to each other. One must hold its price even if the other ones having a hard time and if Bitcoin falls to 40K$, I believe ETH's price will not be affected due to the fact ETH is slightly becoming stronger than BTC.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin i should choose now? on: April 26, 2021, 02:07:45 PM
With it's Market cap and supply, I think Trx is far from 1$ specially that they have so many competition when it comes to speed in transactions as their main goal. In my own opinion, XRP might be good with a possible a good return in the next years.
Indeed, I think that XRP is much better to choose than TRX especially that XRP haven't reach its ATH and haven't done a major breakthrough this bull market cycle. But I do believe that once that Ripple were clear and win the case XRP will definitely fly to the moon.
Did XRP reach its ATH? I do not think so because I am just following almost all altcoins in terms of BTC value and not in USD value. If my memory serves me correctly XRP's current ATH was around 10k satoshi  but in recent times, XRP tested something around 3000k satoshi levels only; I mean still TRX also have not tested it ATH yet in this bullsih markets hence both XRP and TRX might be having chances for investors both in short term and long term.
Its been years since its ATH which is 3.40$ and for the last month, XRP just reached 1.84$ which also still far from its ATH even if they still have this case with SEC. What if they win the case? It would really change the game for XRP and be booming like ever before unlike TRX whose having a hard time even without a filled case in it.

As a student, I also experienced this financial problem and trying to find the best investment for my allocated savings from my allowance. I therefore did my research, ask some questions, did a hypothesis and conduct a thorough investigation before I enter a project. I strongly recommend you to have this SOV - Sovryn. The first and only DeFi on bitcoin in its early stage.
