You said "evil" fee is to avoid people abusing some proxies. But why is the name "evil" used. It should have been an euphemism or to use a word synonymous to evil. I mean the "evil" on its own looks damaging and scary. Imagine coming to a forum and is immediately faced with an evil.
It's certainly the first time I've seen someone worried about this specific terminology but perhaps we could rename them? Naughty points? Mischief tokens? Cursed connection? I don't think you should take the word literally but just that someone has previously abused the connection. |

Just curios, did theymos pay all the mods for their work or were they doing it as a voluntary job without any demand of money? This is Bitcointalk, Mods have their Bitcoin address in their profile. Payments are public  Payments are public based on the transactions that can be seen on Blockchain, but is it really possible to categorize where they're getting those payments from? I don't think theymos releases that kinda data publicly, so he/she may use whatever address to send the mods' salaries to their addresses. As well, he gave estimates and not the exact numbers in USDT per each mod paid. You don't have to be a genius to work it out. 5 minutes of research and you'd have your answer  . |

There have been a couple that have been let go over the years, but most mods are removed just due to inactivity. Quite a few mods seem to get burned out and just disappear. I can't blame them. Hopefully they're sat on a beach somewhere or just enjoying their life offline.
Enjoying their life? Just curios, did theymos pay all the mods for their work or were they doing it as a voluntary job without any demand of money? If they were not getting paid, I think this could also be the reason why some of them left and got fired from their position. I guess it's both. We're essentially seen as volunteers and not technically employees but we are paid a modest amount for our contributions based on how much we've done that month. If staff weren't paid we'd be going through multiple mods every year and despite even being paid a fair few mods do just leave for whatever reason. |

I thought I had the worst among those of us who are posting regular basis but looking at you gives me some confidence LOL Ending this round with 1 point from Arsenal . I guess its better than 0 point and I guess this is my first wooden spoon this season(?) cant recall if I ever got any other during this season   So I guess those with 0 points means they didnt put any predictions this round hence I got the wooden spoon I only got 1.5 this week. I'm practically bottom of the overall table as well. The only users below me are pretty much the ones that have just given up like Welsh . No idea what's going on this season but there's been a lot of crazy results. |
